Visited here for the fourth time today as I I stay on a local farm in my campervan. I would highly recommend a stop if you're in the area, I always have the bacon and brie sandwich and a lovely mug of latte. The staff are super friendly and the ingredients are all fresh , very good value for money too 😊😊

Grubby, tatty and thoroughly unappetising. Everything appeared in very poor condition not least the small food preparation area. I will definitely not be going back and would certainly recommend others to avoid. It is sad to write in such terms, but why on earth do the owners not see the problems.

Cute little coffee shop which is tucked away behind the local village shop. Breakfast was nice as well as great service. They very kindly made a sandwich to go which was really appreciated. I can highly recommend the banana cake which was delicious.

Certainly not fancy surrounds, but great brekkie butties. Popular with dog-owning locals, and cyclists. Havent seen such a basic loo for years!

Visited yesterday just as the doors opened. Lovely welcome after 40+ miles cycling. Nice coffee and a toasted tea cake. Very cyclist friendly with rear access, places to park the bikes and an external tap to refill empty water bottles. Will visit again when riding out that way.

My son who is on a diet restriction had gluten free crumpets and bacon! I had the full English for which was cook fresh and tasted amazing.. It a great little cafe for the purpose we needed it for.. lunch after a 10 mile cycle ride! The shop is also well stocked with many gluten and vegan delights.. The quality of the flapjack and vegan biscuit was amazing and set us up for the ride back again!

So you get to be served by friendly folk who cook up a delicious cooked breakfast and you can sit in the wee conservatory sipping your coffee or sit out. And you get to support the village shop and cafe at the same time! Recommended 😄👍

I stopped off mid ride after a friend recommended it and I'm glad I did. Very friendly with great service. The bread pudding was beautiful and a good quality coffee too. Lovely surroundings in the sunny courtyard where there was plenty of bike parking. I shall be including it on future routes.

The place is very bike friendly. The service great. The cakes look amazing, but the coffee was awful. It tasted like it was out of sachet and mixed with hot water It was a fiver for 2 cups, which I wouldn't have minded had it tasted nice. They need to change their coffee supplier.

A lovely coffee/tea shop. Becky and her staff work tirelessly to meet the demanding needs of hungry, thirsty cyclists. It’s the best coffee stop in the area and serves beautiful homemade cakes and for the hungrier, a full English. Keep up the good work Becky you make many cyclists very happy!!

We arrived at 2.45 for afternoon tea and cake (advertised in their publicity) to be told curtly that they would not serve us because they were closing at 3.00 o'clock. How long does it take to make a cup of tea and serve the slice of cake that they offered us as a take away?

Stopped for lunch on a sunny Friday. The cakes looked great, but we wanted savory. Tuna mayo sandwich (£5) OK with a few crisps, Stilton and broccoli soup (£4.50) a bit cold and served with white mothers pride and a plastic square of butter substitute. Coffee nice. Was hoping for maybe a bit nicer bread and some butter. And even some salad garnish with the sandwich? 50p charge to use a debit card and also needed my home address, a bit odd. Lovely village so was hoping for a bit 'more' somehow.

Waited for at least 5 mins to be served as the waitress was chatting away to a customer, when I ordered a drink she made a fuss about paying with a £5 note and not having any smaller change. As I was leaving I passed through a narrow corridor and a staff member coming the opposite direction said I made her jump, a thank you or goodbye wouldn't have gone a miss!

Found this Café on my training route for Vatternrundan. It's tucked away behind the village shop. I had a cheese and ham toasty which was lush (thick slices of bread and proper thick cut ham). The setting is a suntrap but there is shade if you need it to enjoy good coffee and watch the resident bees unobtrusively milling about their Bee house. Its a perfect place for a pit stop during a family walk. The cakes looked nice and ice creams are available. Basic Cycling spares on sale if you need and the staff are really nice too. Great little independent business; a million miles better than your coffee chains.

Stopped off while on a four hour walk on Saturday. Although it was around 2.50 and the notice board states they are open every day 9-3, the staff were happy to serve us. We had a latte and a capuccino which were both delightful, the coffees were accompanied by a chocolate and banana cake and a chocolate and apple cake, both were fresh, light and delicious. We will definitely return.

As a cyclist I used to be a regular at this cafe but hadn't been for about a year until recently. I believe it has change hands at some point and it's no where near as good. The service was quite slow and disjointed, with coffees almost finished before the cake arrived. The staff weren't particularly polite and the majority of our time there was spent listening to them moan about other staff members which seems very unprofessional. The coffee was nice but not what we ordered (the "latte" most definitely had frothed milk) and we were not bought or offered sugar. The cakes were average, one was burnt. In all not a great experience and very sad to see the decline of what was once the perfect cafe stop.

Good ploughman's lunches and pot of tea. Short staffed today so there were dirty crocks on the outside tables and all a bit cluttered in the small garden. Perhaps when fully staffed it is bettered cleared. Nevertheless a nice stop and the food was good.

We visited the very busy cafe for lunch - myself and my two daughters - delicious bacon Brie and cranberry sandwich , perfect cup of tea and the most amazing chocolate cake which apparently had avocado in it - you couldn't taste it but it obviously was worth adding as chocolate cake can be dry and this one was heavenly!! Looking for a break during a long tandem ride I looked forward to visiting Cuppacheeno now that the cafe was under new management. Green Tea had been the drink of choice for 4 years after an illness. No coffee had managed to tempt me back to the dark side - until I smelled my wife Cappacheeno. Yes I had my first Cappacheeno and it was amazing. Great flavour. You might think my Coffee taste buds are distorted after such a long time away from my favourite drink. My wife was also supper happy.

Popped in today with family for hot chocolate. The place is always busy as it has a good reputation. BUT, there has clearly been a change in staff and they simply weren’t coping with the volume of customers. The queue was out the door and the stress seemed evident, with one staff member being quite brusque with us when serving. The table we found hadn’t been cleared of the previous’ empties. They did sort this out for us relatively promptly. After ordering I had to ask for an additional loyalty stamp (according to the card it’s per hot drink, not visit) for the two hot chocolates I ordered and when the drinks arrived they weren’t as hot as either of us would have liked. Didn’t make a fuss, as by then the queue was out the door again and I didn’t want to stress out the already stressed manager. Next thing we knew, two younger male staff members sauntered out of the kitchen like they had all the time on the world, whilst the manager was still clearly running around like a headless chicken. Unfortunately the choc chip scones we had were dry. I think they had previously been frozen. To be fair we were offered these to be heated up for us but declined. Biggest issue is clearly training the new staff who aren’t pulling their weight. I feel disappointed as the staff used to be super here, efficient and friendly and it used to have a lovely atmosphere, even when busy. Unfortunately I feel there were neither here today. Really hope you’re able to iron these issues out. :)

Often visit this pub for a meal. On this occasion very disappointing menu. For example, No chicken on menu, only one vegetarian option which was a Balti Pie. Nothing like the busy pub we have visited before. Perhaps others feel as we do about this menu? Overall, for the first time not sure if we will bother visiting again
