Both staff members were incredibly rude to all members of our group. When asked for a menu, we were snapped at and told it was “only baked potatoes and soup, we only really do coffee”. Not sure why toasties are not part of a basic “cafe” menu given the limited labour, time and intensive mark up related - ESPECIALLY given fresh bread is cooked on site. LThis is city centre prices for a cafe in the middle of nowhere. We were charged LARGE coffee prices although we were informed only small cups were available, prior to payment. The on-site toilet is marked as ‘out of service’ which I struggled to believe given the time taken deciding where to send me when asked where the alternative toilet was. A long drive for reheated soup and dry over cooked potatoes. The coffee shop has a lot of potential given it’s size and basic premise. For future I’d suggest a basic toastie menu, and perhaps service with a smile, should the staff be up for it that day

While at the Fairy Pools we spotted a sign for the campsite and coffee shop at the end of the road. Due to Covid we weren't allowed to sit indoors but the lady serving us was lovely, chatting with us about our visit to the pools. Hot, coffee and croissant was exactly what was needed after our swim in the cold pools. Lots of gifts and treats on offer to visitors as well as those camping on site. With so few similar places open elsewhere on our trip finding the Cuillin Coffee Shop was a lifesaver.

As we walked from the car on the way to the 'fairy pools' we saw the sign for the cafe & decided to give it a try after our walk. Despite it being about a 10 mile round trip, out of our way as there's nothing else there to see or any other roads out, I have to say our visit was well worth it. I had a flat bread & my wife a pannini - not much choice - but the food was nice & well priced. But what made the visit so worthwhile was the drinks - we both agreed it was the best coffee we'd ever had!!

Feeling a bit hungry and thirsty after visiting the Fairy Pools we were seduced by the advert for the cafe 4 miles down the glen by the beach on Loch Brittle. The first disappointment was that they had run out of milk so no coffees dependent on milk were available. We had to settle for soft drinks. The food range on offer was narrow and the soup and a roll was OK without being in any way special and the bacon roll just didn't meet expectation though there was plenty bacon. The food and drink filled the gap however and wonderful sunshine warmed the body and spirits.

After visiting the fairy pools, we noticed the sign for coffee and cake.We didn’t realise it was a no through road, and we had to rejoin the crowds of people.Views from the campsite are stunning. We had a yummy scone and coffee.Only downside was only full fat milk.Completely turns my stomach I’m afraid but they had no alternative. Seems a shame they don’t offer at least semi-skimmed.

While camping here it was so great to have somewhere to sit and plan the day ahead. Great coffee, no milk alternatives (they did say if I had my own they were happy to make me a coffee with it) but they had a delicious vegan cake. The little shop has some great gifts and the staff were all wonderful.Really incredible location nestled in between a beach and the Cuillin range.

We set out to find this place as the midpoint destination while out road biking. I’d stayed at the campsite several years ago, and was delighted to see its been tidied up and brought to modern standards. We were welcomed in by friendly Australian hosts who provided us with hot coffee and delicious cake, in stunning surroundings and great chat! Clean toilets too! Highly recommended to any Skye adventurer looking for warm comforts on a drizzly wet day.

Fabulous location and I was able to get some wonderful artisan homemade bread and a pastry to enjoy whilst watching sunset over the beach from my van. Surprisingly wide range of choice for such a remote spot. Highly recommended and worth the effort of driving down.

My wife and I passed a strenuous 3 hours or so walking from the Glen Brittle campsite along the headland and, having forgotten to take a flask of coffee, were dying for a drink when we wearily trudged back to the little camp shop. There John and Kirstin provide a service second to none and the coffee and cookies (home made by John) were just what we needed. They are so friendly and helpful; while we were there they managed to find a bar of soap for a sweaty walker in need! If you travel this far for a walk you must pop in. And the on site loos are absolutely spotless!

A friend recommended this place to me, and I am glad she did. You could be forgiven if you couldn't find the shop, as it is not clearly visible from the "main road", but go through the campsite and there it sits. I had a hot chocolate which was delicious, and my other half had a latte. We also indulged ourselves with a very tasty slice of millionaire shortbread.

This little coffee place is part of the Glenbrittle campsite but also welcomes non residents. It is run with a lot of passion and friendliness. Loved that. The coffee is made with "the real deal" italian style coffee steamer. It was a bit weaker than I normally like it, but nonetheless great, especially keeping in mind how remote this place is. They also offer some sweet treat such as brownies ot almond croissants. If you want to enjoy an espresso or a latte in a calm area with beautiful views, this is the place to visit.

Who would have imagined that the best coffee we've had in Scotland would be found in the shadow of the Cuillens at a camp store? That's exactly what we discovered. The lattes were delicious- so rich and decadent you might want to use a spoon!. A tremendous treat after a walk to the Fairy Pools or anywhere else you might go on the Isle of Skye.
