Stopped off here for lunch with my elderly mum and was pleasantly surprised. Whilst the seating was adequate the staff were very friendly and cleared vacated tables promptly. The drinks and food menu’s had plenty of choice and I decided to have the jacket potato with chicken curry which came with a salad garnish. The portion was great and the chicken curry was delicious…mum had a toasted sandwich which came with a small salad, coleslaw and some crisps. Both very reasonably priced and would not hesitate to recommend if you are looking for a lunch time bite. We will return.

Called here for something light to eat. I chose their "Christmas Baguette" filled with Turkey, Cranberry Sauce, Stuffing & pigs in blankets. Some crisps were placed alongside it. Also ordered a cup of tea. The cup of tea was served a long time before my Baguette, which resulted in the tea being cold, it was also very strong. The Baguette was OK, lacked some flavour. Seeing it was a Monday I would have thought the floor would have been very clean. Even though there were dark grey tiles, it looked like it hadn't been washed for some time. It needed a good brushing around the chiller area (crumbs under/near edge of chiller). Fingerprints over the glass on the chiller/fridge front. Also the glass on front of chiller displaying drinks & cakes could do with a good cleaning. I hope the kitchen area is in a better condition than the shop floor area. I noticed that they were using a lot of products purchased from M&S (I.e. wraps & Cranberry sauce). Surely, it would make more sense to buy from a catering wholesaler. The staff were OK. The cook had a bout of sneezing by the cooker. I didn't see him wash his hands afterwards. I know they were due to close but he should still carry out better hygiene.

Oh dear what an experience. My husband went to the counter to order and when he told the assistant where we were sitting she asked me to move to another table right in the corner. (There were 3 tables empty as this time so I don't know what that was about). When other customers came in and sat by us we were left with a gap of around 8 inches from the next table. Eventually a bigger table became empty and we asked if we could move there. We waited over half an hour for our food, but my husband had to ask for the glass of water and the tin of Fanta for our son. My food of sandwiches were the last to arrive, but the pot of tea I had ordered never appeared. By this time I could not be bothered to ask for it so I shared my husbands glass of water. I had to feel sorry for the waitresses, especially as they were bringing orders out which customers had already received, no wonder our food took so much time to arrive. One the whole I could not fault what did arrive on our table, but as they apologies that they were short staffed. I know what hospitality is going through at this time, but I feel that they had too many table packed together so tightly the staff was finding it too much to cope with. It really put me off visiting there again, sorry.

First visit to this cafe right next-door to Carmarthen Market and what a surprise it was for us. The foods on offer for takeaway and for sit in was an excellent experience. The coffee was a treat too,and the quality of food used was extremely tasty, so I think on my return it's a must visit place. The Mediterranean produce on offer was fantastic and looking at the cakes etc they looked homemade.. Great cheese options too.

Went with my friend for lunch we didn't want a lot as we were going out in the night for a big meal . I had a toasted sandwich and he had a paninni and both were nice . Each came with crisps and coleslaw and with tea each it was about £17.50 so decent value . Staff were helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our lunch there .

I have always wanted to visit this cafe, as it has a great location and looked inviting from the outside. I don’t like to be negative, but as there were only two tables occupied, there was no excuse for not wiping all the tables clean. They remained dirty for the whole half hour. The place definitely has potential, but they’re lacking in attention to detail. Customer service was also lacking - the staff didn’t seem that eager to go the extra mile to be professional and helpful. I hope it was just an off day.

First visit here. Loved the decor, friendly welcome and great choice of food. Went with my wife during a day in the town. We both opted for a Stilton, leek and onion chutney quiche. It came with beautiful salad and potatoes. Couldn’t fault a single aspect of the visit. Will return without any doubt!!

Small cafe where you order at the counter. I thought it was a little overpriced for what you get. We paid £20 for 1 panini, 1 cake, a jacket potato and 1 cocacola which seems a little high. The food was ok, nothing special just standard. The cake was good tho! So might be better for drinks and cakes rather than a meal. other all it was just ok.

This has too be the best place for a sausage sandwich ever. The cafe is in a new spot right in the centre of Carmarthen. The staff are really friendly chatty and helpful. The breakfast options are great the food itself superb, The also do a fantastic range of sandwiches baguettes and salads. The cakes they do are too die for one word for this cafe is EXCELLENT well worth a visit once visited you’ll have to visit again.

We arrived at 3.30 Saturday 29/12/18. All unoccupied tables were dirty. Ordered 2 americanos, one arrived within 5 minutes, then mine arrived 10 minutes later. However, it was a cappuccino! My americano arrived after another 5 minutes. The coffee wasn’t even worth waiting for. We’ll stick with Rod’s delicious takeaway coffee (which is opposite crumbs) in future.

Visited for lunch. Fantastic menu, such a lot of choice. You get a table, then go and order and pay at till, very efficient service as they are very often busy. We both had Stilton and leek quiche and salad, excellent. The portion was generous with a lovely salad of coleslaw, beetroot, lettuce, tomatoes etc, and new potatoes. Well worth a visit, lovely staff and good quality food. Will definitely go again.

I came here for the first time today with friends and loved it. I’m not usually a cafe person - I’m more of a gastropub person - but I will definitely be a regular visitor here! It’s all down to their lovely food, which is excellent quality, fresh, home made food. There’s a lovely choice here. I struggled to choose between the lasagne, leek and potato soup, quiche and Christmas baguette. I ended up ordering the Christmas baguette for my lunch (which was very tasty and well stuffed, and contained turkey, cranberry, stuffing, pigs in blankets and gravy), and I ordered a bacon, brie and cranberry quiche with salad to take away for my supper. I’ve just eaten my supper, and it was just delicious. The salad was lovely, and not boring, and contained a mix of items including noodles, potatoes, beetroot, cucumber, salad leaves, coleslaw and tomatoes. As well as amazing food, the service was very friendly. Highly recommended. Will be back next week if not sooner!

Tried this place for the first time very dissapointed with my panini; salad and crisps were tired/stake and the panini itself was more a nan bread cut in half ie very thin and not very pleasent despite there being ~5 people serving the level of cleanliness left a lot to be desired as customers were cleaning their own tables and a pigeon was helping itself to food on the floor. Not to be used again

My first & last ever visit today. After ordering 2 paninis to take out I waited at the counter for them to be prepared. The lady serving took my order and money then proceeded to handle the food without washing her hands. She then did this to 4 other customers & still no hand washing took place. If this wasn't enough I then witnessed another staff member wiping sweat from her brow with a teatowel.Stay well clear guys.

Crumbs, conveniently situated near Carmarthen's Indoor Market and the Clock Tower, isn't just a place to have a lovely cup of coffee and watch the world go by, it's also home to the world's best salads. Don't take my word for it. Come for yourself and when you do, browse the oldest town in Wales. It's magic. Merlin, himself, said so!

the takeaway come cafe is certainly different, a cup of tea is served by squeezing a tea bag in your cup and you are asked if you want milk and then it is added a bread roll is butter if you ask, the feta salad had the minimum amount in minuscule pieces in the salad the soup was lumpy and not blended enough, the person in charge went out and had a cigarette and never washed her hands when returning to the premises ,it was a cold day and they kept leaving the door open the staff were friendly and efficient

Brilliant seafood starters. Cosy atmosphere and great service. Varied menu encompassing Welsh specialities and tasty pub grub, nice cold beer and soft drinks. Definitely recommend the chips as they are very crispy. Mushy peas with a twist. We enjoyed our meal in the secluded den watched over by a giant grizzly bear. A must visit if you are in the area!

This was a great spot for lunch! We stopped off on spec and I was pleased to see vegan options. I had the vegan burger which was lovely. My parents had the chicken burger and the gammon, and they were equally pleased with the food, the portions and the service. I also had a vegan crumble tart with custard which was delicious! Overall a very pleasant experience, although prices were a little on the high side.

Nice and clean coffee show with fresh looking food. However, the 2 cappuccinos we ordered were not quite hot enough for our liking. The staff were friendly enough considering the whole store was freezing cold! We noticed that all the staff (not that there were that many of them there) had coats on, which must be very unpleasant having to work under those conditions. The store has definitely deteriorated since my last visit, which is such a shame, but it certainly wasn’t a nice experience walking around, in the cold, dodging the strategically placed buckets catching the dripping water. C’mon Leekes….you are better than this!!
