Great local pub with good staff, nothing too much trouble

No food service bill atmosphere's great

The Crown is an amazing place to visit as there are many different people to give you a warm welcome. Many smokers, but if you sit in the front right corner of the pub, I can guarantee a brilliant experience. Drinks were fast and tasty.

It was a celebration of life and all was good

Went here for a party. Loved the whole experience. Friendly staff. Spotless premises. Good beer at fair prices. Great atmosphere. This is a good local pub with no pretentions of grandeur. Good tasty beer without having to find one I liked from 26 craft ales. The finger buffet was fine, but I can't give a score as it didnt have a meal so it would be unfair to judge. Will go there again.

Walked there on Christmas Day for a pre-lunch drinky with friends & it was a lovely atmosphere with great service from Sonia & her team. It had a proper community feel with all sorts of people having a festive time.

Where do you start with a erratic place like this the manager, I mean (cocaine taker) Disrespectful can clearly see she has no control over her actions. Couldn't even put together a full sentence without her jaw swaying like that ride I’m sure they call it “pirate ship”. Pretty much seemed like she wanted a fight they way she was talking to her “customers” The staff don’t even crack a smile, so miserable it was a instant mood kill.

There is a Shawarma shop next to it, so don't go around it

Always made to feel welcome and safe. Great community atmosphere especially when they put on some entertainment.

I do prefer a good pint of well kept real ale most probably the reason I never use this pub even though its on my doorstep, France V England I'm did not chance the bitter, looked around what everyone else was drinking the Madri was quite crisp & fresh.

Good little pud that caters for all parking at the back and always a good deals on drinks

Great pub and food. Staff are brilliant.

Cheap and cheerful place that has some great drinks offers on every day. No real ales at the moment tho. There is a jukebox and there are 2 decent looking bands on this June (Saturday nights). Nottingham Forest matches are always shown if they're on TV and there are lots of screens with sport on most of the time. Many thanks to Sonia & the team for making the Crown a great local !

Only drank outside due to covid, but no complaints, staff are wonderful. Guinness is good, my only problem is that this is not my local, and the poor bus service means I will not be visiting on a regular basis.

Used the outside terrace to host a virgil for my friends death. Was a lovely space to use.

The place its self was drab and dreary we had a funeral wake there the food was dry and chewy the sandwich fillings we're vety poor for what we paid for the food was well not worth it. It was Iceland party food not everyone likes onion bargies and samosas there was no chicken legs no salad and not a. Pickled onion in sight there was loads of food left over everything was such a waste the only 2 things laid out that we're not below part and they we're the two gatueas and the large cup cakes I would not recommend the food at all. One bonus was the staff were kind and helpful c newbold very dissatisfied customer

Sport minded venue with approximately 6 large TV's. Happy hour from 7 - 9 30, drinks £1 cheaper, but even so drinks are very good prices in general.

Beats Workin'...played Saturday night. Great crowd. Great night, everyone out for a good time. Lots of dancing from first spot until the end. Cracking night , we loved it, the crowd enjoyed it. They don't look after the real ale. Has to be the worst pint in Nottingham. The brewery supplying the ale (Navigation) are not being well represented here. Basically its a larger pub for I'll informed drinkers.

Spent Saturday night in the Crown, The Score were the band for the evening and they were brilliant. The bar staff were really good, friendly. Had a really good evening

I visited today, briefly, at approx. 12.30-1.00. The place was completely empty and I was served by a very unwelcoming young man. I asked for a J20 soft drink which was given without a glass. In the 20 mins. I was there nobody else came in. The toilets were so dark I thought there had been a power cut. On this experience I could see why it was deserted and will never return again.

1st time there will be the last. Two of the same meals were ordered only one came out both veg bought out 5 mins before 1 main had to ask for cutlery. veg was only luke warm so was cold by the time the 1 main came out Manager/landlady attitude was unprofessional said it was because they were busy if that were busy id liked to have seen the service if all tables were full most of the tables were empty and she left the waitresses to sort it out Although Full refund was given We will not be going back

Had senior 2 course. Fantastic value st £4.49. Would recommend to any one. Good variety of dishes from the set menu. Could have any two courses out of starter, main and dessert.

Very nice staff and drinks were good, but had to wait one and a half hours for just average food. Only order food if you have a lot of time on your hands and if you are happy with basic meals.

Excellent staff and service. A warm and friendly atmosphere where everyone is made to feel welcome. Excellent food and the live bands are amazing. Love the atmosphere in this place, especially on Sunday service for stickys and bingo. The landlady and landlord are always visible and get involved, with the landlord DJing and calling the bingo and stickys. A great local which I recommend highly to all my friends and family.

Really enjoyed my visit to the crown, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Had a Sunday dinner which was great value, and the veg was perfectly cooked - which is sometimes a problem at other pubs. I stayed for a game of stickys - the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be returning again soon!

Come every Sunday for lunch and always very pleased. Can get very busy so get there early for choice of seats. Food well prepared and service outstanding. Young Sunday waitress a credit the management. Great value - don't miss out!!!

I've eaten here several times now very second rate. To be honest there are so many places that are far better than here you are going to be disappointed here.. Standards are consistently low. Very slow to get food out for large groups. Black burnt bacon, cold soup, under cooked potatoes, horrible woody yellow carrots, staff blind to their poor standards, including the manager. Mix up with orders, mix up with desserts, I've had a steak that was cold.... no heat in it what so ever. However onion rings were burnt and inedible, chips were also over cooked but edible. Plates were cold and the wait for food....almost an hour. Would I recommend...... Sorry but no. There are a lot of other places that can deliver the food quicker and keep it warm. Disappointing for a very clean nice looking decorated bar. Disappointing bar service, due to poor girl having to run around with food and run a bar. Lack of experience I assume. Come for a beer and a bag of crisps but don't expect to be thrilled. Go anywhere else but here for hot food.

Just had a lovely Sunday dinner .

My friend and I went for Lunch today, staff friendly, ordered two of the veggie burgers - a bit of a wait to say it wasn't busy but really nice food so would definitely eat there again

Fuimos a pedir dos comidas de carne. Que no conseguí carne. Publicidad exterior pub y delante de un menú especial de lunes a miércoles. Pero sin carne el martes. Miembro del personal dijo que no tienen una entrega hasta el jueves. así que no hay carne mañana. Sopa ordenados con baguette. vino con pan. hablado con personal. Él dijo en el menú antiguo puede con pan. Sopa era sólo como cálido. Nos dio la baguette con nuestra comida. (Pero no era sólo de pollo cocinado) también cálida y guisantes fría.
