Very good pub restaurant in between Castleford and Normanton.Good food and nice atmosphere.Carvery is a good price and delicious.More expensive at weekends than on a week day. Bus stop is near by so have a drink and don't worry about driving

Visited here with my family for a birthday dinner. Couldn't fault a single thing, everything we asked for was done to an exceptional standard. Lewis in particular went above and beyond once her found out it was my daughters birthday. The food was delicious and all reasonably priced. I don't have one complaint Thanks again guys. Absolutely amazing service from Tom & Jacob unfortunately didn't get the other chaps name but perfect service from the second we got in to the moment we left. Came here with a bunch of mates, and ordered drinks and food. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Extra thanks to the manager that dealt with some of our awkward orders Lewis. Food was immense cheap yet high quality. Happy that it's open 7 days a week as well. Massive cheers.

This as to be the most friendliest caring staff ever. When ever we bring the guys from reflections we are made so welcome. The staff and service today as always was 10*********. Arrived 4:30 Not very busy. Nice welcome. Went to carvery - bit of a queue as several of the serving dishes were empty and people waiting for refills. Went to sit down to wait for carvery to be restocked. Carvery was mediocre. Then ordered dessert - warm cookie dough with ice cream and marshmallows. Waited 20 mins - checked with waitress - came back from kitchen to say the dessert had been prepared but no one had brought it out so another was being prepared. Dessert finally arrived - disappointingly small for 4.79 (more like a child’s serving) - no marshmallow and no ice cream just squirty cream. We won’t be returning.

Visited with family including children so a large group. Service was slow despite the place being very quiet and the food when it arrived was not very hot. We ordered desserts and one arrived at the table, as it was a hot dessert the person began to eat and had finished before any of the others arrived. Went to the bar to ask about the delay and was told the tickets had been thrown away so we had to tell them again what had been ordered. When they did arrive some came with custard when ice-cream had been ordered so had to be taken back and replaced with the correct order. Over all not a good experience.

First visit here since covid, still good value tasty food and service with a smile from the staff, Tim behind the bar is spot on, so was the lady with the wig on! (Sorry!…didn’t get your name!) Keep up the good work, we all enjoyed our tea.
