Cromer pizza house in North Norfolk

They muck up orders, the pizza is so thin it falls apart when picked up, deep pan would be nice, food is okay, but overall quite poor, wouldn’t recommend to be honest.

Thin based pizza, was delicious.....what else can one say! Seems I have to have a minimum of 100 characters.......now have 128.

Really disappointed, never had any issues but now two issues recently so feel I need to write. Last week recived the wrong pizza (ordered pepperoni but recived ham and mushroom) for my daughter - and she hates mushrooms! Then no answer from phone and reported to the Online booking system, but no response. Now second issue, ordered online a pizza and cheesy chips for my pregnant snack, they were open so I thought no issue. I wait an hour - I start thinking that's a bit long, but always love the pizza so don't mind. Then look at my phone and it's been cancelled by the pizza House!! If you wanted to close earlier then don't advertise as being open, waste of my time. So yes very disappointed as this would usually be my go to takeaway...

Ordered online thursday evening, me and my partner ordered both a chicken burger, we have been in bed the last 2 days with food poisoning.

Couldn't get through on the phone, tried twice but went to answer phone each time. So selected another pizza take away.

While on holiday ordered twice through the app for delivery to the campsite both times I received a phone call 10 minutes before arrival saying the food was on its way and delivered on time. Good both times delicious and hot and delivery drivers both polite. We ordered a selection of food pizza’s, chicken burger, chicken strips and chips all delicious and piping hot and large portions. Would highly recommend.

We regularly stay at Woodhill Caravan park and again on this stay twice had pizzas delivered. The first time for a load of us inc hungry visiting youngsters and then a couple of days ago just us two. We have tried a range of different ones and have never been disappointed. The ordering and advsing of delivery at the site has been excellent. Looking forward to ordering again at end of September when we are back in the area.

What an absolute scam, tried to order for delivery. Which was cancelled, however they had taken payment immediately and now it will take 5 days to go back into my account. Absolutely ridiculous. If you can’t offer a service don’t say you can and take peoples money. I think this should be looked into.

Wonderful staff who were friendly and efficient. Delicious pizza. What a great find! Would definitely recommend a d mist certainly will be back when we next visit Cromer.

Quite simply everything you could want from a pizza place. We came up for a short weekend break and ordered two pizzas (pepperoni and prosciutto), and I can honestly say this was some of the nicest pizza I’ve tasted. Will 100% be ordering from here when we come back to visit

Alright we’d had a few but this is just amazing pizza. We sat outside the red lion and ate this before hitting the pier for a boogie but it was amazing pizza … and I’ve had a lot of pizza. Great service too … you place your order and grab a pint in the pub opposite and they ring you when it’s ready. Sweet.

Ordered from here last night for family of 3 takeaway. Great tasting food, vegan option on of the best around. All fresh on a thin crust base. Will definitely be back.

We had seen people all week getting pizza from here and the kids had asked for it every time they walked past! We decided to treat the children on Friday night. (20th aug) My husband went to order them and was told it would be a 30min wait.. fair enough it’s a busy time and everywhere else seems to have been closed… only to be told that they had sacked a chef and another had walked out in protest. He waited and the people who had been served after him then got thier pizza with a £10 refund on top for thier wait!!!!! . By this time he had been waiting for just under an hour.. the young girl serving then told him that our order would be another 30mins or we could have our money back. We took the money and walked. I genuinely feel for them if they had staffing issues as is so busy and there is a lot of pressure but our order had clearly been forgotten about and the wait was then over an hour in total with 4 hungry moaning kids to deal with… it’s unacceptable. I ended up giving the kids super noodles and the grown ups had a bowl of cereal! I’ve promised them now they can have a dominoes when we get home… which frustrates me as I always do what I can to support independent businesses. We won’t be going here again as it was entirely unacceptable to waste that much of our time. Such a shame.

We had a pizza here one night, as we couldn't get in anywhere else and it was lovely, we eat it on the front, watching the sea. Had another one the next night as we where going to the show on the pier, again very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

We ordered two pizzas for a delivery takeaway- quick response and both pizzas were really nice. No complaints and reasonable price.

Collected a couple of margarita pizzas for dinner whilst camping. Very tasty, nice, hot and fresh. Garlic bread served in similar style to pizza huts version. Crunchy and 😋

Always good quality as a take away service, delivered on time especially when ordered online. Food always hot and never skimp with ingredients, especially appreciate maintaining a service during very difficult times.

End of evening visit - waiting for take-out - made to feel very uncomfortable by the staff member's friends who were sitting in there while she worked and stared at us the whole time. Very uncomfortable. Alas we didn't return the next day as planned....

Yep.... The title sums it up. Visited this establishment on a Saturday evening about an hour before closing. No other customers, only take away orders. Pizza arrived quickly. It was hot and reasonably tasty. Wouldn’t call it top notch southern Italian style, but typical of a UK takeaway pizza place. If you like Dominos or Papa Johns thin crust pizzas, you will be ok here.

After stating it’s free delivery for people under 3 miles (and we are 2.8 miles) they then proceeded to say that they were going to charge us an extra delivery charge, the most annoying thing is that even though it’s only a 7 minute drive the food is almost always cold. When questioning the extra delivery fee we were later told that we were rude for informing the staff (that delivered our food) that we were only 2.8 miles.

Slowest pizza house in the UK .... think after order placed the pizza is collected from Italy! Would love to say worth the wait but only average at best .... would not bother again !!!!

Best pizza we have had for a long time, the base is thin and not covered in tomatoe sauce. They do takeaway and dine in.

A very clean, reasonably priced place. Varied menu. Pleasant staff. Excellent service. Food all Cooke fresh. Only downside was a flight of steep stairs to access the toilets. Not that good for people with mobility problems. Well worth a visit.

The pizza here is amazing and I can tell that the ingredients are fresh but however were the toilets are could use with some modernization.

As a family we come to stay in Cromer once a year, and we always go to visit the Pizza House. This year was as good as ever - delicious, fresh cooked pizzas on thin, crispy bases with good quality ingredients. The garlic bread and cheese is good, and the side order of fries are really tasty (and very good size). Our oldest boy (4) loved his chicken nugget and chips, and our youngest (2) demolished his 7-inch pizza very happily. We'll be back next year.

I’ve been using Cromer pizza house for about 5 years now and I’ve never had a bad pizza. The pizzas are always delicious, I think people might mistake the pizza house restaurant and takeaway for the other takeaway places .

We ordered a cheese and tomato pizza garlic bread and veggie pizza. Really poor quality pizza, I'd may as gone to morrisons up the road and cooked myself. Soggy base and poor quality ingredients. Rubbish

Ok but not great pizza. Very thin base, not crispy more soggy. Plenty of cheese but hardly any of the other toppings requested.

We ordered Pizza on a Saturday night. Ordered on Just Eat, we stayed in a remote cottage near Trimmingham and there were absolutely no issues with bringing our order. I am very impressed.

Yummy food for everyone to enjoy. If we get kebab in cromer its always ordered from here. Quick service also.

I'm on holiday with my 5 year old and decided on our arrival day to walk into town for some dinner. We've been holidaying in Cromer for many years and the pizza house has been consistantly providing great food, a great atmosphere and good prices (also byo alcohol).

We ordered a pizza each between the two of us and both of us was humming in appreciation of how good the pizza was. It was too good to share so we didn’t even try one another’s, we were both very pleased we went here.

We tried to eat at this pizza house but as we had 2 children in wheelchairs we couldn't enter. When we asked the staff if they had "wheelchair access" you would have thought we had asked for the moon as we received a resounding "NO" - I cannot in all honesty comment on the food but the staff attitudes stink !

I ordered my pizza for delivery wh9ch is hard to come across in sheringham. Unfourtantly it arrived and it was cold. And chips and garlic bread too Wouldnt order again.

As someone who does not eat pizza very often I was a bit wary of going in but the grandchildren wanted pizza. I was not disapointed at all. The children both had pizza from the childs menu with chips and drink and we had the meat feast. The pizzas were all really tasty and very filling. I would definately recomend it.

My daughters have a thing for pizza and so it was decided that lunch today should indeed be pizza. The atmosphere of the place was nice. Relaxed and non assuming. I ordered pizza for the girls, thinking I really have no patience for wanna-be pizzas. But when the pizza arrived - it looked surprisingly like something I should actually try! So I did... and immediately ordered my own!! The pizza we ate here today was one of the best we've EVER had. It was just right! Right temperature, the right amount of cheese, and right amount of olives. The right amount of salt and and the right size! So we all had our pizzas and gave the place the thumbs up. It was awesome and we wished they could deliver to London.... If you're in Cromer, have some Pizza - at the Pizza House!

Went here one evening for a change, very basic but the pizza was good. We are more used to Swiss Italian pizzerias but this was fine & did the job.

Very tasty pizzas, only criticism was that one was a little overdone around the edge, but the taste was excellent. Next time we're in Cromer we might order takeaway as it is cheaper than eating in. The garlic bread side order seemed to be generic supermarket-style slices - we thought it might be fresh cooked like the pizzas so this was a bit disappointing. Chips were nice - french fries - decent sized portion for the price. Spaghetti bolognese is also a nice flavour. Cash only.

Came in (reluctantly) after my little boy requested Pizza instead of fish n chips (at the seaside??!!) We ordered Pepperoni Pizza & chips and I can honestly say it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had in ages - the chips were to die for as well! Thin crispy bases, hot crispy fries. Freshly cooked, reasonably priced and very tasty. We will definitely be back.

Have had pizzas delivered on many occasions but have been totally put off after our last order; I ordered my usual chicken but instead of the lovely fresh chicken they used to put on top, it’s was the horrible frozen cubes of chicken, tastes awful; both of the pizzas were burnt as well. Had I been in the restaurant, I would have sent them back immediately. Please read this Cromer Pizza House and raise your standards back up to your previous high level!

We have been a few times to Cromer Pizza and we think the quality of the pizzas is better now than ever. The bases are thin and crispy and its all very fresh. A great location too, almost as close to the pier as you can get. The staff are friendly and there has always been a pleasant atmosphere.

Its the same as any other pizza shop in the country, just less busy. have been a couple of times as its quick and easy to get, workers very friendly.

We went to get a takeaway and realised you could sit in so we did. Lots of choices of pizzas. The pizzas were fab and tasty, staff very nice and friendly, restaurant basic but very clean and very good value for money. Would defiantly recommend.

A small 'boutique' pizza only restaurant serving the best pizza I have tasted so far in UK. Very busy, but worth the wait. Try to avoid early evenings when most clients dine after visiting the beach / town. They are also busy with their take away trade.

Cromer has so many places to eat, and we'd never been here before. We went on a Sunday evening, when it was very quiet. The restaurant is not licensed, but we were told that we could bring in drinks from the pub on the opposite corner. Our pizzas were loaded with fresh ingredients and very tasty, and the bowl of chips was huge! We will definitely be visiting again.

Wow! Walk past the door and the smell will entice you in... Lovely staff, very accommodating and happy. The menu is varied and interesting for a small establishment, with seating for approx 30 people. They also offer takeaway pizzas. Definitely a place to return to.

We arrived late for dinner in Cromer and almost everything was closed, the owner of the Pizza place stayed open late for us and cooked up some excellent pizzas for us both.Good, reasonably priced food but the service made it excellent!

Stopped in for a spontaneous lunch on a Sunday afternoon, my little boy decided he wanted pizza. The pizza was really nice, I particularly liked the tomato pure used to top the pizza, the children loved there's too, there were no leftovers at all. The service wasn't great, the waitress seemed friendly but she was slow and seemed distracted. 5-10 mins after we arrived I actually had to ask her if we were supposed to order at the counter because she was just gazing out of the window. It hasn't put us off though, we'll be back, maybe for a take away.

Our party of 10 were in Cromer for the fireworks , the fish and chip shops had queues a mile long ! With youngsters in our party and the display fast looming we needed to find a meal pronto , we stumbled across the Cromer pizza house and what a delight, the pizza house was very busy but they found us a table and spun it around so we could eat with our friends, the drinks arrived promptly and were soon followed by our mains the adults ordered pizzas and the kids ordered from the children's menu , now I personally ran a pizza service for over 20 years so I'm a bit of a critic when it comes to pizza, the pizzas were the business a proper thin base fresh home made dough and plenty of toppings, kids meals were more like adults meals terrific value for money, the staff were friendly and efficient, so glad we found it and will defiantly be visiting again

My husband says the pizzas are the best he's ever tasted. It's a real shame he ordered and paid online but when the pizza never arrived it turned into a slanging match. He admits he was in the wrong but Cromer Pizza House refuses to take any responsibility for his missing pizza.Good pizza 10/10 but no customer service whatsoever 1/10. Maybe a few people management skills are needed.

Been using this pizza house for years; no problems until 19/12/16 when my order was rejected (too busy pmsl) too many orders. Liam needs to sort out his desire for fancy tattoos and put serving customers first. This place used to be good but has become a joke; it's rubbish. Stay away is my advice !!

Good value pizza, no frills but for the price who cares… Children's menu really good and value for money. It does not serve alcohol but you are able to take your own with you and they will provide the glasses, if needed. All in all in pleasant experience.

Came here for tea on Saturday. Really nice pizzas clearly freshly made with lovely thin crisp bases and generous toppings. Definitely worth trying and returning to. The only criticism is that it's cold in the restaurant (it was bitterly cold outside) but you then need to go and sit in front of the lovely fire in the Wellington to warm up!

After reading some of the reviews I was a little dubious but we went for and and ordered a delivery... it was really lovely, I did get extra mushrooms instead of pineapple but it didn't make s difference to the quality at all! Beautifully super thin base with plenty of topping.. and a fantastic price! I can't understand the people who write bad reviews on here.. please don't listen to them and give this little place a go! We did not know where to eat , found pizza house , grabbed a bottle of wine ,took it in with us ,waitress was very friendly and helpful . Had bowl of olives , then two amazing pizzas freshly cooked and hot , got a half price ice cream voucher for next door , which we had today lovely , was really cheeky and as we decided to eat at our little cottage tonight popped in and grabbed a takeaway bowl of olives very scrummy , thank you will definitely pop back next year , thank you

We had a very nice early lunch here and the food was freshly prepared and cooked. The pizza's are absolutely spot on. Would definitely recommend.

I decided to stop by the pizza house for dinner with my family a few days ago after it being recommended to me by a friend and I must say, I was really impressed. The manager with very chatty and he ensured me that all the vegetables are fresh and the dough was freshly made this morning, not that I couldn't already tell! The kids loved their pizza's and the waitress was kind enough to bring us half priced ice creams from their shop next door. Super friendly staff and low prices, will definitely be returning!!

Sadly waited for 20 minutes after getting a table to order drinks. Long queue of takeaway customers arrived and were seen to before our order in restaurant was taken( I had to go up and ask if we could order). Ordered food too. We were then apparently behind other delivery and takeaway orders as we'd had to wait so long. Annoyed but not much we could do so decided to stay. Girls serving barely made eye contact with us as I raised the issue. Not sure what level of organisation but a table of six and a couple came in 30 mins after us and we're served and had finished by the time our orders arrived. 3 pizzas?!! Girls serving went to check what was taking so long but not aware that other tables had come in later yet had food arrive before us. The girls were clearly struggling but no sign of any assistance and no manager to be seen. Food was fine once received but 1.2 hrs for pizza when other orders being filled made no sense.

What it lacks in designer decorations it makes up for in great pizza. This isn't a fine dinning experience but wow the pizza really hits the spot. Service was a bit hit and miss with the young servers more bothered by there phones than the customers but I would defiantly return for the food.

This is the closest we have been to replicating the pizza we have when in northern Italy (visit frequently to see La Familia) well done, minimal toppings and thin base, keep up the good work

Cheap nasty food didn't have much taste at all, and there was a fly in our chips, it had quite obviously been fried with them... clearly no care for presentation! Or thought for customer service then they were laughing at it, extremely un-professional, very little apology/ discount, this will be going further...

Popped in here with my grandson, tasty pizza and salad. Friendly service and not expensive. We went at 17.00 and it was busy, you can order takeaway too.
