As always nice coffee etc..with loads if choices

Costa now allows dogs, so I can now enjoy my Flatwhite I've missed since getting a dog 3 years ago

Went to the sheringham costas today and ordered 2 maple hazelnut hot chocolates with cream, our ordered was taken and it was given to us with a flat blob of cream on top and no hazelnut sprinkles, it looked nothing like the picture advertised, when we said to the young lady serving we were greated with we haven't got any, there was no sorry or an apology, not even a smile, when i sat at my table another customer came over to me and said I don't bother coming in here anymore because they are so grumpy and rude, she just came to get a takeaway drink to use up her points. Maybe some training in customer service would be nice.

I visit Costa in Sheringham 3 times a week - the young guy has a stinking attitude and clearly doesn’t want to be there - the rest of the staff are very good - he needs to at least make eye contact/smile or leave..

Normally, I get a chocolate brownie fudge frappé and I love them!

Fast friendly service! Food is lovely and their Bakewell tarts are exceptional 😄☺️💕We had flat white coffees and a frappe and they were delicious 😋

We found this costa too small, and when l went to the toilet, no soap to wash your hands.

I came here for my mornig coffee everyday all week. I normaly get quatro espresso but since tall girll was by her own and made me something like a joke and served in a paper cup I asked if that is it and she wasn't even looking just said yes. I found few nice cafes around with good coffee and my quatro looks and taste lovely as it should.

Really disappointed.We always enjoy a coffee and some toast from Costa . We were told at Sheringham that they don't do toast . This is the first Costa we have been told this . They didn't say they had run out just "we don't do toast" . I thought Costa did the same things . Nothing wrong with the staff or the place itself by the way but just disappointing.

I was turned away by a rude member of staff today because I wanted to bring my bike into the café for it to be safe. I have never had a problem with any other Costa stores. Will not use again.

Fast service, nice hot, well made coffee. Friendly staff, brought the drink to the table which isn't usual for Costa, so was impressed.

Lovely place. Might be a chain but the staff here are lovely. Very clean and great service. They were especially caring with an elderly customer with sight impairment. He was treated with great respect and regard. Thank you to Shauna.

Warm welcoming helpful staff and lots of room to sit on a cold wintry Sunday. Costa coffee and tea reliably good. Lovely toasted tea cake and Danish pastry.

I was told they had run out of coffee and ordinary milk. Had a tea sat down then within five minutes announced they were closing. Carried on serving and seemed to be offering coffee to other customers after us. Very unprofessional glad I was only here on holiday if I was a local would take it up with the owner. Total shambles.

Generally not a massive fan of mainstream coffee shops but today, the queen's funeral it was THE only place open in Sheringham and a bit busy. The two young ladies working there were polite and efficient but very busy. Drinks were very nice and the shortbread too. We'll done ladies, tricky times on such a day, top marks for effort and performance!

Great friendly staff from this Costa Coffee location. Full of local knowledge to help us out as tourists. Drinks were made to our awkward requirements and the place was very clean and tidy. Parking outside for takeaways coffees.

Great little place, needs to be bigger. Would say that the manager needs training on customer service, very grouchy.

Great food and drinks! My main criticism is it is a tiny branch of Costa! It has a tiny seating area and I can imagine staff get overwhelmed during busy periods. They could do with moving to a bigger building where they could cater for larger volumes of customers!

5 min to closing on a Saturday and I was welcomed in for takeaway and the service was timely and still with a smile. It's a big team in there, lots of different faces when I visit but all are doing a great job!

Visited this afternoon on lunch break. Service was slow after paying. They weren’t busy at all. Member of staff was training a younger on the coffee machine, showed no interest in him or the job. He unfortunately didn’t have the training to do what he was doing. Had to watch them remake the milk, and overflow the next. All the while the trainer didn’t have a nice or friendly manor to encourage the trainee. My Takeaway drink was more foam than milk and there wasn’t enough milk. The trainee noticed this and asked the trainer who was trying to ignore them. Much to my horror the trainer then poured presteamed milk from an old jug that hadn’t been discarded from under the counter in my drink...! How old it was I hate to think. Pretty disgusting. It was quiet so I doubt that milk was recent.

Excellent service. Sat outside. Would have given 5* had it been on the sunny side of the street. ( Bit picky?)

Pleasant surroundings, toasted sandwich and coffee as expected at Costa. Some cutlery not clean unfortunately.

Painfully slow service, except for the flies on the cakes, they seemed to be enjoying themselves. The coffee was OK, not great. The staff did not know how to engage with customers or share the workload.

Popped in for a coffee and it was great. Staff were pleasant and place was clean.

Just been in to the Sheringham branch. Noticed flies on the uncovered cakes. I pointed this out to only staff member, a female. Her reply was 'We can't do anything about it.' Jestering to the open door. Have Costa never heard of Mesh food covers!? Or fully enclosed glass counters. Won't be buying cakes there anytime.

Nice Costas usual quality food and drinks. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Thought the bad reviews must be an exaggeration as I’ve always had good experiences at other Costa locations. Unfortunately, the service was really slow - took over 10 minutes to make 4 drinks on a quiet morning. Coffee was lukewarm, asked for sugar free syrup but coffee was made with regular - only noticed this because I was standing at the counter. Lack of attention to detail like this is worrying for diabetics or those who have allergies.

Worst costa shop I have ever been in ! Asked for two hot chocolates extra hot and both were nearly cold , as the girl making the drinks was more interested in talking to a young chap than doing her job properly very rude I thought , she definitely needs retraining !!

Question for Costa what do you do for people that don’t have a phone with nhs app capability for track an trace . My mother has been in yesterday and as her phone is old and hasn’t got the app capability she expected to sign in on paper but nothing offered or available unlike other places in sheringham that you can do it on paper or app . So if someone tested positive after being in your shop my mother wouldn’t know anything about it!!!!! Yes she’s had both jabs but not the point . You have two ways in you shop to do track an trace both require mobiles a little more thought needed for older people that don’t have the tech we all know how to use

Positive staff review. However I went to the Track and Trace QR code on the table and tried to scan it using the NHS app. Didn't work. So I scanned it with my camera and it directed me to a Costa website where I put in my table number. Then came a data collection form asking for my name and email and more. Basically an information harvesting operation. The blurb indicated that the scan only (may) be passed onto NHS UK. A case of financial benefit over public health and a waste of my coffee time wondering why my track and trace app didn't work

Ashamed to say I went here, but other places not yet open. Worst coffee, had to return to have remade. Even with extra shots, couldn’t taste the coffee, at least on second attempt hot. No apology, it was me apologising for not being satisfied! Sorry, not for me!
