We have been here several times - always exceptionally good……… However, we came for mid afternoon lunch before going to Manchester for a concert…. 50% of us were disappointed ! In this country, burgers are always an issue. Depends on who made them, bought in frozen, made fresh etc as to how they can be cooked. A barmy arrangement as they are no different to a steak, or indeed steak tartare ! I asked if I could have the Wagyu Beef burger cooked to order….. No, well done. Ok, still, I thought, prime Wagyu Beef, seared, tasty - will still be good, so I went for it. Oh My… Birds Eye do a better burger, sorry. If that really was Wagyu, the beast must have missed several massages 🤣 Anyhow, Woody enjoyed what I just couldn’t finish. The first time I have been disappointed at such a normally excellent establishment. Change the recipe, use only beef and salt and pepper - no fillers or other stuff. If you want inspiration, go to Farmhouse, knocks spots off yours. Her Croque Monsieur was superb, wish I had ordered it….

Lovely place to hang out whilst charging the car, staff are super friendly and sociable. The household/garden products are extremely tasteful…and just gorgeous. After unsuccessfully trying to imagine the bath rack that I really wanted ….to magically be wider than it actually was …so it would fit my bath….John helped me search high and low, to find a doormat in the right size/design. Thanks John, really appreciate you going the extra mile. I would highly recommend a visit to Weetons, the food hall is another level great too😊

Visited on 2 November, were very disappointed by the service here, we went for a coffee and cake. Once we managed to order a coffee, orange juice and two cakes we were left waiting for 20 minutes before we checked with the staff what had happened with the order, when we went to check the cakes had been served up onto plates and left on the open counter where walk in orders were taken and told "it won't be long to make" considering there was only one coffee to be made it doesn't take very long, and the place wasn't busy enough to justify a 20 minute plus wait. Food hall and Garden centre, Great variety of products, offers enjoyable shopping experience overall. And now the Deli and that unprofessional and with bad attitude lady behind the counter what does we find out she is in charge there (Bianca incredibly rude!!! ) Not coming back !!

Been here a couple of times, and I haven’t had a single pleasant experience and I want to give it a chance. It feels lifeless and cold inside, the staff seem like they don’t want to be there. I bought some glass baubles and wasn’t offered a bag as the girl was too busy talking to the boy next to here, which then I got pushed in the food hall resulting in a bauble getting smashed. For any of the deli counter on multiple times I have had to wait 15 minutes for the staff. It’s not a friendly place to be at all.

When it was crmple we went there on a regular basis but only just yesterday went to Weetons. Four of us went for breakfast Two had egg on toast, two had a sausage sandwich, plus four coffee's,not expensive you might thin but you would be wrong, £56.00 must be a joke.Is this rise to cover part of buying this business or what? Suffice it to say I won't be ripped off again,I'll never go anymore, and may I suggest everyone does the same.Look for better alternatives.Vote with your pockets,I will.

Arrived at Weetons today for brunch around 2 p.m. We still chose the egg brunch option, eggs with bacon & eggs with smoked salmon. Both were delicious. There is a food hall & very large well stocked shop with Christmas & other items for sale including seasonal plants. There is a little snug selling sandwiches & sausage rolls amongst other items. Well worth a visit even if you don't use the restaurant.

I have never felt more unwelcome than at the Weetons restaurant. Despite not being advertised as 'By Reservation Only', my friends and I were treated rudely by staff when we arrived and requested a table for coffee & brunch. Staff seemed to see us as an inconvenience, even though the restaurant was almost completely empty. We were told that we could not sit in the main restaurant (only the coffee area at the front) and furthermore that we could not order food. When we were served our coffees, they were the wrong order, yet we were made to feel like it was our fault. The service was so appauling, that one of my friends commented 'why do I feel like they hate us?' I used to think very highly of the Weetons brand, but would not return to the restaurant at the Leeds Road store due to the poor customer service and attitudes of staff.

A Transformative Experience! We have been visiting this destination for years but in recent years its really stepped up its game, now a Restaurant, Food Hall, Home + Garden Centre and even an Event Hire! It has always been a charming spot for garden lovers, but over the past few years, it has truly transformed into a must-visit destination. Here's a what you can expect: Dining Experience: The restaurant at Weetons has elevated its offerings significantly. The menu now boasts an array of dishes that cater to both casual diners and those looking for a more upscale dining experience. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and modern sophistication, making it suitable for a relaxed lunch or an elegant evening out. Standouts include their locally-sourced Yorkshire Beef and the artisan cheese platter, which perfectly complements the local wine selection. Service is warm and attentive, ensuring a dining experience that feels both indulgent and homely. Food Hall: The food hall has always been a highlight, but now it has expanded its repertoire. Shelves are stocked with an impressive range of both local and international products. From freshly baked bread to exotic spices, and from homemade preserves to a wide selection of craft beers, the food hall now caters to a broader palate. The quality and diversity of the produce are commendable, reflecting Weetons' commitment to supporting local artisans while also embracing global flavours. Home + Garden Centre: Newly added to the Weetons experience, the Home + Garden Centre is a delightful extension. It features an array of gardening supplies, plants, and home decor items that blend seamlessly with the aesthetic of Harrogate's countryside charm. Whether you're looking to enhance your garden or seeking unique home accessories, this section provides both inspiration and quality products. The staff here are knowledgeable, often offering tips on plant care or interior styling. Event Hire: Weetons has started offering event hire, which is ideal for those planning intimate gatherings or corporate events. The venue can be adapted to different themes, and the in-house catering team ensures that food and beverages are tailored to the occasion. Their attention to detail in setting up and executing events has been praised by those who've used the service, highlighting the flexibility and professionalism of the team. What makes Weetons stand out is not just the individual enhancements but how they've integrated to offer a comprehensive lifestyle destination. It's not merely about shopping or dining; it's an experience that invites visitors to linger, explore, and enjoy. The transformation of Weetons into a multifaceted venue where one can spend an entire day—browsing, eating, and even planning events—speaks volumes about its understanding of modern consumer needs. It's now a vibrant hub for food, culture, and community in Harrogate, making every visit delightful and new. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this spot has something for everyone, all wrapped up in a beautifully curated package. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Yorkshire's culinary and lifestyle offerings.

Nicely laid out garden centre. Restaurant food is pricey, but quality is very good. Plenty of variety in the shop. Some products were a bit ridiculously priced past what is reasonable. But if you want the convenience of getting it there rather than driving somewhere else to get it for half the price then that's the choice you make. I only marked down a star as there was no staff working the checkouts when I went to pay and the manager of the shop on her own little counter seemed self entitled like it was beneath her to serve a customer wanting to pay for goods. She also made a rude dismissive comment which I thought was unprofessional and really bad customer service. The woman who ended up serving me on the checkout was polite and helpful, but there was a considerable delay as some of the product barcodes weren't loaded on to their til system and had to be put through manually by someone else. Overall a nice place that I'd visit again, and hopefully by then those in charge will have taught the shop manager how to correctly interact with customers and ensured that the products they are selling are correctly priced and loaded onto their systems.

I only went to the smaller coffee shop behind the gift shop, but it was enjoyable. The coffees and teas were nice, we shared a slice of lemon blueberry cake which was good, and I had a small cheese and onion quiche. That was not so great and the assistant didn't seem knowledgeable about the items available, not how to properly prepare them. Otherwise, a nice atmosphere, and I would return again. The gift shop seemed like it had some nice products.

Me and a friend visited on a very busy Sunday lunchtime and experienced a pitifully slow service. We waited an hour for our food, which whilst was very nice, was a totally unacceptable wait. People who arrived after us had managed to order and be served, all whilst we were still waiting. To give credit to the staff, they were great and apologetic, however the inexcusable delay cannot be forgiven. I would not go back and don't recommend wasting your time here.

I was visiting York and on my way there I needed to charge my EV. I had looked at various options and saw there were some Tesla chargers at Weeton’s Food Hall near Harrogate on the way. Upon arrival I plugged in the charger and it started charging almost straight away. I had some time so popped into Weeton’s with the intention of getting a coffee, even a sandwich. However the menu looked really interesting, so decided I would have a proper lunch there. I went with the Nidderdale Lamb Rump, which came with Jerusalem artichoke purée, sautéed Jersey royal potatoes, and a borlotti bean salsa. As it was been cooked to order it took a little time to arrive, which as I was charging (and Tesla charge idle fees) I was a little concerned about, but I knew really I had plenty of time. The plate of food looked really nice. The lamb was cooked perfectly, it was still pink, but there was also a lovely external char. I enjoyed the Jerusalem artichoke purée, maybe a little more would ave been nice. I liked the potatoes, though if they were smaller, I might have enjoyed them more, even so I did like them. The borlotti bean salsa was an interesting addition, and I liked the contrasting textures that added to the dish. I finished and cleaned the plate. I was really impressed with the whole dish, yes there are minor changes I would have made, but in reality this was an excellent plate of delicious food, that I loved eating. Would I go again, yes, but a five hundred mile round trip for lunch, is probably a little extreme. However the next time I need to visit North Yorkshire I will go out of my way to visit Weetons for lunch.

Was really looking forward to visiting this new venue on Leeds Road today (Sunday). The hype was real. So much so that I didn't give my girlfriend time to finish her make up or hair. Our wish to be seated outside was granted for breakfast. The service was great, however, once our scrambled egg breakfasts had arrived, a black hair was discovered and the salmon and eggs weren't that nice. I only ate half of mine and the coffee was distinctly average. The Manager was fantastic, in fairness, and removed the charge for my girlfriend's breakfast. We were both shocked at the prices in the foodhall with their outrageous markups. We found a secret spot outside the back to catch the sun's rays but got bored with the vibes and pompous people around us so left after 5 minutes. Thank you for this experience, Weetons, but neither of us will be in a rush to return!

We recently had the pleasure of purchasing a stunning teak table and six chairs from Weetons, and the entire experience was nothing short of fantastic. The quality of this handcrafted set is simply amazing — you can see the care and craftsmanship in every detail. It's a perfect addition to our garden, and we couldn't be happier with it.What made our visit truly special, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and assisted by a lovely lady (whose name we unfortunately forgot!). She was incredibly patient and spent a great deal of time helping us choose the perfect pieces for our space, offering valuable advice and insight to ensure we made the right choice.John and Guy further elevated our experience with their genuine friendliness and willingness to help. John was fantastic throughout, and Guy went above and beyond by helping us transport the furniture home, using his own car! We were staying in Harrogate & we stopped here on our homeward journey for breakfast & a "mooch around". First the breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, although for me its prices clearly reflected how I view the residents of Harrogate, well off. It wasn't cheap, but the food was quality. We then did our "mooch about", as with the restaurant, the items here appear top quality, but for people on a tight budget, it's not, in my view, the place to shop. It's big & there were a further 2 cafés serving drinks, croissants & alike. Enjoyed the visit & my wallet is pleased there's not one close to home. Although an occasional breakfast there would be a delight. Maybe if I win the lottery!

We had breakfast here. Considering the price, I expected the fried eggs to be trimmed with truffles and the scrambled eggs to have flakes of gold leaf. Unfortunately, I was disappointed; the only garnish was a sprig of pea greens. The food did arrive quickly though, via a rather pompous waiter who, when he brought our drinks order, said, "Tea for sir." I hope the staff don't get trained to deliver such pomposity; it really doesn't work unless they are dressed in a Victorian high collar and riding breeches. And, frankly, you are only a plant nursery at the end of the day. Please get over yourselves.

Absolutely awful experience, we feel totally conned. Don’t waste your money. We arrived at Weetons Leeds Road at Saturday lunch time, the restaurant told us there was no availability until 2pm, even though we could see so many empty seats inside and out during our time there. We were told to go to the snug cafe where they “may have” availability, we walked into an empty cafe and asked a member of staff about availability. They laughed and said it they had availability and that the restaurant “is not full”. We chose two sandwiches at nearly £13 each, and one small bottle of Diet Coke for £3.50. We were then told it would be a 20 minute wait for our food, which turned into a 30 minute wait. The sandwiches were small and dry, with a pathetic looking side salad. The most expensive sandwich I think we have ever purchased considering the small size and lack of any chips or other substantial side. The staff are clearly over worked and under appreciated, with one staff member threatening to walk out after an argument broke out between them and a customer, with the staff member commenting about them being understaffed. The food hall/supermarket part of Weetons is ok in some aspects, but they sell brands at a premium where you’d otherwise pay less for the exact same brand and item in a regular supermarket. Everything is at a premium and you sort of feel a bit foolish and silly for even entertaining the idea of paying double for the same things you’d find cheaper elsewhere. Overall the concept seemed promising, but the quality and experience doesn’t match the astronomical prices they charge. Will not be returning sadly.

Always loved coming to Crimple. Now I have a baby I've realised it would be great to see mother and baby parking spaces introduced as its difficult to get baby out of the car on busy days. I know it's popular with the older generation hence multiple disabled spaces but it's also a hub for mums since it's so spacious and great for prams and buggies. As a coeliac it's good that they have gluten free options although stretching to two slices of bread would be appreciated when paying £10.50 for brunch :-)

Went in to have lunch. Husband's main course Nidderdale Lamb he enjoyed. I ordered a prawn and crab sandwich with rose Marie sauce with tomato and Romano lettuce. The sandwich was poorly made, little seafood with great thick slice of tomato, on nice bread though. It was served with a side salad of cherry tomato, lots of red onion slices, mixed leaves in a mustard dressing. The salad was totally wrong put with the sandwich with it's onion heavy and mustard dressing, clashing horribly with the sandwich sauce. Am sure salad was taken from a large premade bowl of salad to be thrown on any small dish irrespective of what it was. At £13 the sandwich could be made with more finesse, leaving a mismatched salad off the plate. Lazy treatment of a staple meal. Won't go back.

Recently taken over by Weetons ( have a restaurant in the centre of Harrogate) . Last time we were up here they hadn't reopened. Lovely food hall with some surprising reductions on quality food items . Checked out the restaurant here and had an americano . Will go back as reasonably priced

Huge! Lovely atmosphere, Service is ok, but the waiters and waitresses are not always attentive as the guy that directs you to the tables as you come in. Food is ok, chips could be "fuller" ...

My partner and I visited and decided to eat. BIG mistake! WAGYU BEEF BURGER £16.95 – OUR SIGNATURE Wagyu burger, smoked Cheddar, pickled gherkin, pickled red onion, sesame seed brioche bun, Weetons burger relish, romaine lettuce. Served with our house fries.......... Mmmmm, the above all sounds very nice, right, but unfortunately, the above is all complete false advertising as the burger was soooo dry, tasteless, the bun was stale, along with cold chips, yesterday's food!! A message to the head chef, do you not care about what goes out of your kitchen? to the management, please take a look at this, as you simply won't get repeat business charging top prices for second-rate food. Not sure if this has something to do with the recent take-over. A gourmet burger should be of a decent size, juicy, along with a fresh bun (which is soft and in date) + hot crispy chips! Come on, it's not rocket science!

Very average breakfast for the price, had a slight issue with my order. Manager refused to accept a minor change in the order. Very bizarre approach to customer service. Fodder is so much better value, better quality and better management.

The break fast was disgust too expensive. Sausage was worst brand it’s not like Cumberland or Lincolnshire brand. I’m totally disappointed I won’t come again.

This is by far the worst Premier Inn I have ever stayed in. The reminder email advertises early book in (11:00) for £10, but only on arrival. When we arrived, we were told this was not the case and we had to wait until 3pm, but should go do something else whilst waiting. As we only had just over an hour to wait, we decided to stay in the foyer as the restaurant/bar was out of use and there is very little in the area (except for a train station). The elevator was also out of use, which listening to other visitors was quite a big problem although did not really affect us directly. The Premier Plus room that other members of my family had stayed in, had no heating and very mild hot water, not suitable for a shower. This was "rectified" by giving them an oil radiator. The quad room that I stayed in was not suitable for the number of beds that were required to sleep the 4 of us, with furniture having to be removed to make way for the beds. Despite the TV having Freeview, there were no channels other than the basic 5. Breakfast was served in the (most of the time closed) restaurant, and whilst the continental breakfast was buffet style, the hot breakfast was ordered at the table, and then your menus taken away (so make sure you order enough the first time). The hot breakfast took quite a while to come, which worked out in our favour as the hotel contains the worlds most inefficient toaster. But I was later informed by party members that the wait for breakfast had reach an hour. Checkout was fairly straight forwards, as there was no one around. Safe to say, I will not be returning and would advise readers to consider alternatives.

Review of yesterday's chicken roast dinner. Superb. Huge portions and veg exactly as I requested. Thank you. I will continue to order. Good luck.
