Great charity day out food spot on, well done crickters team smashed it an amazing day my daughter loved singing frozen karaoke!

Had a great work event. Team couldn't have provided better service for us. So accommodating to our needs and requests. Had a buffet and the food was lovely. Would 100% consider for another event. Thank you

Had the Wednesday Burger & pint for £10 absolutely perfect, Andy the chef produced a perfect burger that was full of flavour and cooked to perfection whilst the service and banter in the bar was more than you should expect had a wonderful experience. Very pleased

Long time since I last went here, but so much better now

I started going to the Cricketers because of quiz night but have found the staff and service remarkable. CJ has always been welcoming and cheerful even when I ring to book a table. He is always helpful and due to this, I have started to suggest it as a place to go with my friends, especially when there are events on. I would recommend the Cricketers to anyone as a place to go to just purely based off of the service i’ve received here, plus when you’re hungry, you never have to wait long for it to be on the table.

Great pub for sport the football atmosphere is amazing in here. Food is great highly recommend the Burgers. Drinks really good prices. Will be back often. Great service by Ellis, Lyndsay & Marshall

Great pub for a meal and night out, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Recently went for a family meal, and Ellis was really helpful with giving allergen information and ensuring we received excellent service.

Absolutely great pub, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and quick service. Food was fresh and delicious ( fussy eater here 😁) CJ and a lady behind the bar is definitely a benefit for the Cricketers as they made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend. Will return soon ♥️

Had a delicious steak sandwich . Steak is not so easy to get right but they seem to have a handle on it Great selection of drinks often with special offers. Lovely facilities and well placed tables in little cubicles outside 😀

Well, where do I start? My family and I entered the restaurant, and we asked where can we sit as no one paid any attention to us. We were told to sit at any table. Not knowing the restaurant, we sat there for 10 minutes and figured out on our own that we had to go to the bar to order. My wife ordered the taco dish, and we asked if she could only have chicken as the menu item did specify pork & chicken. The person who took the order said it was all chicken. When it came, of course, it had pork as well. We were then scolded as to how we should have ordered specifying any allergies, etc. We tried to explain to the "manager" that she just preferred chicken, as she doesn't eat pork. He lectured us on what we should and should not have said to the person taking the order. However, he did change it. My son's burger was "so-so." My daughter's pasta was below average. The chicken stips were lukewarm, probably taken from some frozen pack. I asked for a well-done steak, and it was medium. I wish I could show the picture here. Just a horrid experience. Bad service, bad food and bad attitude of manager or whatever he is and staff. Upon leaving, he was very sarcastic stating "have a nice day, and see you again soon," with a smirk on his face. We just ignored him and didn't react to their "wonderful" service. I hope there were no other reasons why we received that type of treatment in that small village in South England.

Clean pub with good clean food . Sport bar with lots of tv going on . Staff were well friendly with good beer knowledge and promoting double up for £2 . 5☆

Me and a bunch of mates went here to watch the champions league final. The atmosphere was good however the live music that night wasn't great and I feel they should've stayed to one type of entertainment as it just was too loud with no defining noise. The pub was basically split in half although everyone had left on the love music side.

Came here today had gammon and chips the rosemary sea salted skin on fries what can I say absolutely delicious meal been here a few times to eat the lasagne is lovely this pub has really turned around for the better staff here are lovely as well Ellis is lovely highly recommend the food here thank you.

Been coming here with a couple mates for years now, great selection of beers, wines, IPA’s. Staff are great, good chat and banter. Never had any issues. Security always on point and easy to approach. And always good access to live sports. Also child and pet friendly. Would highly recommend

I come to this pub quite a lot whether that’s with my mates or my family. Wide variety of both food and drinks so you shouldn’t struggle to find something you like here. The team are great and are always ready to help and take your order, and at the weekends the atmosphere is the best whether that’s for sport, music or just a catch up and a drink. Been coming here for years and still will be for years to come. Could not recommend it anymore.

My wife desperately needed the toilet just as we'd left & walked next door to the adjacent carpark when she realised she wouldn't make our 25min journey home for a pee & really did need to go now or she would wet herself.. We pleaded with the younger girl on the door that refused our re-entry for my wife to please use the toilet & the young lady was blatantly blunt to say my wife could not come in for a pee (despite many other people being in the pub still).. We mentioned the presence of others still being in the pub & we were still declined for my wife's desperate need for the toilet.. When we mentioned the others still being in the pub that hadn't left as instructed, we were told they all work here, which was clearly a lie as some people were still sat at tables drinking & clearly not staff.. One of the guys inside the door (said his name was Owen) had got physical with my wife, pushing her from the door.. this was distressing for not only my wife directly (she's tiny, 5ft zero & weighs about 7.5 Stone) but myself & our two friends that were with us for the evening.. I mentioned that we'd spoken with CJ tonight & he had been absolutely lovely to us all evening & pleaded to please allow my wife to use the toilet as she was desperate, the young girl who had declared by this point quite in a very smug manner to be the landlady's daughter said that CJ had gone home & only staff were allowed in the building.. Well, ironically a chap we used to know who used to frequent the Good Intent pub in Rochester that we used to go to, was outside during this whole ordeal & we said hello to him & then they let him back in even though he doesn't work there.. He even kindly asked on our behalf if they could let my wife in for a quick pee.. the young lady still said no..! I said to the young lady that this chap isn't staff, so how come he is allowed in with these other people still in the pub & my wife can't come in for a pee.. She said, he is coming upstairs after as was friends of theirs.. Despite the young lady saying earlier that it was company policy to not let non staff members in the pub.. Our friends even pleaded with the young lady & mentioned how desperately my wife just needed a pee.. & she replied.. Well, you'll be home in a minute & you can go then can't you..! I replied, that this is not the case as we live about 25mins away.. The young lady then had the audacity to say we were irresponsible people to be drinking & driving..! After her false accusing remark, I then replied & mentioned to her that 1 of the 4 of us who's driving us all this evening does not drink alcolhol at all & has been drinking diet-coke all night (which we could prove on our bar orders) & is perfectly legal to drive.. I said to the young lady how it was such a shame to end what was a great night in this sad way as CJ & the Landlady herself were both lovely.. The young lady agreed, they are both lovely & added, but we're not (speaking on behalf of herself & Owen) who were refusing my wife's use of the toilet, although she was clearly absolutely desperate to use the toilet.. As a result, we had no choice but to leave & my wife ended up wetting herself in the carpark next door to the pub before we left.. To say we are disgusted with the attitude from the daughter of the Landlady & Owen is an understatement, especially as there were other customers & a non-employee let back in the pub in front of us at the door.. I truly hope all of this is on camera in the Greene Kings pub at the Cricketers, Rainham & even better, I hope there's clear audio to go with it as I would like to see them challenge anything I've said here as this is an honest & true account of what happened & it's gutting that there seems to be one rule for some & another rule for others despite the company policy that was portrayed to us..! We are deeply disappointed with Greene King for allowing this inhumane experience from some of the people they employ.. A sincere shame as other than this, we had, had a great evening & this forced us to all leave feeling quite upset indeed..

Was made to wait while the barman was more interested in talking to others showing things on a mobile, then serving another customer at the bar who turned up after me, there was not alot of people at the bar so found it very rude. Normally it has been good, perhaps some bar staff training is needed! Decided to go to the Greedy Banker to spend my money

Only has dessert and a hot drink lunchtime during half term holidays. Large spacious pub with friendly staff. Toilets clean. Can't really comment on the food as main course was across the road in a cafe that became too loud so we popped over the road to the pub

First time there met up with friend for lunch. Can honestly say was lovely everything food service atmosphere. Also the attention was fantastic. Thanks so much to the staff especially the young gentleman behind bar that changed my order a bit. Will defo be coming back. Thanks 😊

Came here to watch a band. Crowded, very busy and quite expensive . Have to pay for parking !

Food wasn't great and the gluten and dairy free aspect floored them but to be fair the manager was amazing managed to get me a steak Christmas dinner, although the steak was cold and for all the hassle I got a dairy free dessert which was amazing. Kitchen staff just need to sharpen their knifes a bit.

I really like this pub, I have not eaten there yet so cannot comment on that, but I like the size of the place, the fact there is plenty of room to sit down, and that its nice and local.

Excellent place to visit if you fancy a meal with friends or family. Great food, service is 100% and you are always made to feel welcome.

It's the same as pretty much every Green KBG pub. It's not a pleasant place to be at the weekend. Plastic cups and bouncers tell you all you need to know

The menu is excellent. I tried the seniors' excellent value. Service is done with a smile, and staff is very helpful

The cook Andy gave us a amazing meal cooked perfectly the bar staff jay and CJ were polite and helpful when asking for help would defently come here again

We normally go to Greene Kings as trust them, have a good one near where we live. We made the mistake of going in Friday evening around 7pm. So all table numbers had been removed so couldnt order on the app and there were no menus, quite busy. Ordered food, told most of the GF menu was out. Agreed to a superfood grain. When it came out, asked what was in the grains (looked strange) the waiter went in the kitchen to ask and then came out and avoided us so clearly no one knew. Tasted awful. Went up to get a drink, ages to be served, the bar staff seemed more interested in serving their friends, was stood at the bar 15 mins.

Nice pub but pints could be cheaper

1 hour wait for a burger. Didn’t arrive so we left and got a refund. No one else was really eating so no excuse for it to take that long. Wouldn’t come back here or recommend it if you want food !!

Looks like a recently refurbished establishment inside is lovely and there is a very large outdoor area. Cannot comment on the food but we found the drinks to be quite expensive compared to all of the other local pubs or Greene king establishments.

What a rough pub! You get your drink in a plastic cup, my wife got a small bottle of wine in a plastic pint glass very very classy! There was 5 bouncers on a Saturday night around the place which says it all. Also the men's toilets had just sheets of ply screwed to the wall because of it all being kicked. Suppose the 1 star can be for that the drinks were slightly cheap

Visited the cricketers with friends for the first time in ages last Friday - the barman (Taylor) was very helpful with the choices of wine available. Pretty busy but didn’t have to wait long to be served👍🏼🍷
