I’ve been a member of the gym for several months now and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! Simon and Gemma are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help with any questions or guidance—they’re dedicated, professional, and truly took the time to understand my fitness goals. As a person in their seventh decade, with a hip replacement, my trust in their professionalism and knowledge is vital to ensure my gym experience and activities are appropriate for me. Simon and Gemma have created a positive and motivating atmosphere, there’s a real sense of community, and that makes it such an enjoyable place to work out. I would highly recommend the gym to anyone looking for a great place to stay fit and achieve their fitness goals. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete, you’ll feel welcomed and supported here.

I don’t really want to give a low stars but had to be honest if this helps you to become better then that’s great. I joined the gym a year ago. To get fit. I was quite happy using the gym. But then I wanted to use the weights. I have never used them before because I have a problem with my left arm. I didn’t really get the help or advice from Simon. As I have never lifted a weight. I get that Simon is busy. But I have asked for help never got it. I’m really sorry but I won’t be renewing the gym for this year. But it’s a great place to go for a coffee play golf.gym facilities are good I just needed more support.sadly it just wasn’t there.

Decent course. Not worth the price for Non-members. Brand new TopTracer range is very good. Winter golf can be quite boggy. Good enough course to have fun and play well, wish they were on GolfNow so I could get a more appropriate course price.

I had my 30th birthday party here and it was awesome! Alex was great and kept me in the loop from the moment I booked until I arrived. Alan was really helpful when setting up and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend!

Only visited the driving range with my grandson but a good experience

Highly recommend the toptracer range. Booked the VIP bay for my birthday and everyone had a great time with lots of games to choose from. The staff were very welcoming and you could even order drinks directly to the bay from your phone. 100% will use again!

We used the conference facilities at the golf club. The room was very well set out, great deco, the equipment worked seamlessly. We were very well looked after and the lunch was fantastic at a very good price. = Recommend businesses who are looking to use offsite facilities to try out the venue.

Lovely location, great food and the staff are wonderful, all together a very pleasant time spent there.

Roast chicken meal had excellent flavours and there was a good variety of veg, however the chicken breast was tough and chewy. My wife was entirely happy with her roast beef meal. The Spanish Sauvignon Blanc was not very good. The service was fine.

Went here for breakfast as the place we were staying the Golden Fleece down the road had recommended it and we could get 10% of all bills due to accommodation. So we thought we would try the breakfast. Thought it was very nice and reasonably priced and fresh produce and a lovely view. Worth a visit but only do breakfast and Lunch

Unfortunately today, to paraphrase Lemony Snickett, 'just a series of random golf holes' not the courses fault. Wonderfully friendly staff and great food.

venue is spectacular, but definitely let down by lacklustre , couldn’t be bothered, overstretched service personnel in the restaurant. couple this with the poor food quality and weekend was not enjoyable

We had a great society day at Cricket St Thomas greens and fairways in great condition. Hospitality and food was superb thanks to all the staff. As the organiser of our event it was great to deal with Matt and Alex throughout the booking process

Just had Sunday lunch very disappointing small portions Yorkshire pudding was like a rock. the rest of the food was cold ❄ 👎have to think twice next time

4th time we have visited here for our golf society outings and as usual everything was perfect. Great food, fantastic course in excellent condition and very friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend a visit here if you’re organising a golf society day.

Once again we had excellent service and food served by a friendly staff. Great atmosphere for our members who expressed their appreciation for what was an outstanding lunch.

Lovely course, greens very true, food a little disappointing,but it was included in a package playing an inter County match, guessing they have a shortage of staff.

Been a couple of times for a car rally start, great food, drink and service

Top notch golf course. Had a massive downpour the night before I played, but the course was still playable with only 1 temporary green on the first. Course was a challenge for me (21 hcp) but still alot of fun. Back 9 is where things really get interesting. Fairways and greens well kept. All the members on the course very welcoming. As of writing this they are remodeling 3 holes so layout will be changing. Will Definately be back for another round.

Hi. We had breakfast and dinner with you today🐖🐖 Breakfast was great, well-cooked and delicious. The Christmas Dinner was amazing. Cooking large quantities of roast potatoes is notoriously difficult; yours were crisp and fluffy. The vegetables and turkey were lovely, and the gravy to die for. Service excellent. Thank you.

Excellent Sunday roast, good value, perfect size portion, good service. Nice atmosphere in the bar, had the Ryder cup on the telly and everyone was warm and friendly.

Had a very tasty and reasonable breakfast before venturing out on the course, which although quite short, is hilly and challenging enough. If you're into park like courses with beautiful mature trees, it's definitely worth a visit

Stopped off for Sunday lunch. What a great find, the food was amazing and fantastic staff we will certainly be returning here. This is a gem of a place, and if you find yourself in the area, well worth popping in for a meal.

Down for Mr Wards captains day and what a cracking day it was. Course was top notch lad in the pro shop was charming . Sophie and the bar staff were a delight. Food was awesome a massive thank you to all.

Very good course some narrow fairways and slopping fairways. Fast greens. Nice staff and well presented club house and shop.

The club itself is nice. It has really friendly staff. The course is short but very challenging due to the very hilly nature. The grounds could be better kept though. The paths are often muddy as no real maintenance is done to them. Another example would be a temporary rope around the 18th that must have been there 2 years now. It's the infrastructure, paths etc that let it down.

Booked a table for lunch at 1pm, finally got my meal at 1.40pm, ordered they ran out of fish and beef chilli so I sat without a meal while my friends ate. Not impressed, I won't be back.

Played for the first time, wouldn't say it was at its best, due to heavy overnight rain and birds attacking various parts of the course, but wouldn't let this put me off from returning.

We held a quiz here for our Majorettes Troupe,, Made to feel welcome,, food we had was Top Marks, The whole staff team are lovely, I helped pack Bits away at the end and went in the kitchen which I might add was Spotless. In the past I have had a carvery which was also fabulous with top roast spuds best leek cheese and all meat and veg cooked to perfection, Not forgetting the best GRAVY.

Sunday lunch carvery was great value and great food. Friendly and helpful staff.

Had a really lovely experience celebrating my 70th birthday at the golf club. The food was excellent, the staff were wonderful and the room was perfect. Would highly recommend this venue

Only went to watch the football

Visiting family and they booked us for the Sunday carvery. Have to say the food was great and the service was top notch. The young waitress that served us couldn't do enough for us and kept the 4 kids happy as well. Shows how well the staff are treated if they go above and beyond for service. Management should be proud of their staff and food

Rude & Embarrassing!!! Upon arrival, believing we had everything in order for my Birthday celebrations, we were told that we wouldn't be allowed on the course due to our dress. Admittedly, one of us was wearing denim/chino shorts, and two of us wearing unbranded golf shoes. We were told by the arrogant and totally obnoxious 'Pro' in the Pro Shop, that these were against the dress code. I had called 2 weeks prior to our visit to check on the dress code, and was told "Collared shirt/polos and golf shoes/trainers" would suffice. There is also no information what so ever regarding a Dress Code on the website. We understood that there was an insurance issue for players going out in the wet without appropriate foot wear, but taking into consideration that one of our party was wearing Callaway Slick golf shoes, with next to no grip what so ever, was deemed appropriate next to our pimpled golf trainers. This made absolutely no sense at all! This forced us into no other option but to buy some expensive golf shoes from the Pro Shop. Thankfully, the friendly chap in the shop (who was incredibly embarrassed with the actions of his boss) was hugely helpful in finding us some "appropriate footwear" and even stuck on a hefty discount, to make it worth our while. In an attempt to not allow the actions of one arrogant individual ruin our day, we set off and had an absolutely fantastic time. This review would be a 1 star due to the totally rude and infuriating experience caused by this so called Pro/Manager (or what ever title he gives himself to feed his ego). But, the wonderful staff who truly made our day and were incredibly apologetic on his behalf. Huge shout out to the lad in the shop, the wonderful lady who served our breakfast and the very pleasant barman at the end of our day. Unfortunately, we wont be returning anytime soon, until this "Pro" is gone. Fair play to all the staff there that must have to put up with his bullsh*t on a daily basis. Dare I say it, this individual won't last long at Cricket if his attitude towards polite, paying customers doesn't change!

Friendly helpful staff in the pro shop, great facilities, beautiful course. We were just having a look but will certainly be back to play some golf.

Excellent experience for start to finish. All staff were friendly and helpful, food was perfect. The place was clean and tidy throughout. Noah enjoyed thrashing me at pitch and putt.

Played here for second time. First was over 15 years ago. What a change! Very welcoming pro shop and enjoyed the course which very. Well established with some stunning views. Some major development coming soon so will be a shorter course while 3 holes being re configured. Also building apartments. The club house has been to the stepford school! So friendly and helpful but with fantastic homemade food. Thanks for a great day and will be back a lot sooner now I don’t live as far away!! 10th Sept free open!!

Friendly staff always help when you make a visit to another course. The course was in excellent condition which again is a credit to all employees of the course.

Course was in good condition and quite tricky with the wind on some of the holes.But then it was called wind whistle before. The welcome was really good and the refreshments enjoyable and ample quantity and quality. Well worth a visit.

Went there last week for a Christmas Dinner, the food was as you would have expected, although hard to eat as the knives were blunt, the DJ was probably the worst I have ever heard and the light very bright making the atmosphere pretty dreadful. However I was with a great crowd and we had a brilliant night.
