Crepeaffaire in Birmingham

The delivery was delayed in every 10 min for extra 10 mins. Final arriving of food was after 1h10mins. They were tasty even thought they were cold

Made a special trip to the grand central location. I ordered one crepe and asked for the second one be redeemed with reward voucher. Unfortunately the scanner was not working so I couldn’t get a free crepe. The crepe I ordered had nothing except hazelnut cream and white powder in/on it. There was no cream as I had expected, and I was not offered anything else with it. The hazelnut It didn’t taste like Nutella? Additionally, and most shockingly, whilst the member of staff was making my crepe he was collecting rubbish from customers who had finished eating and disposing their rubbish. This is not supposed to happen. A eating establishment is not supposed to be operating rubbish disposal services to customers whilst simultaneously preparing food for customers. What an extremely outrageous situation!!! Staff were unhelpful, they NEVER thanked me, they just looked really tired. They didn’t even give me a receipt which was very strange. For £4.95 I think I was expecting a bit more than a boring pancake, I requested for it to be packed as it was served open, and received it placed in two more open boxes. Staff didn’t serve me any cutlery. By this time I was too confused about the level of disappointment and just left.

Amazing food 10/10 would buy again. Expecially with delivery of the food. Well made and always clean and fast on the delivery.

Antihigiénico, evitar a toda costa. Visité el sábado 25 de julio, y aunque mi familia no tenía quejas sobre la calidad de la comida, me sorprendió mucho que el miembro del personal pusiera las cucharas de plástico para nuestras bebidas en la mesa de madera sin pensar en la limpieza de Covid. Cuando trajeron nuestras crepes a nuestra mesa, el miembro del personal simplemente dejó caer todos los cuchillos y tenedores de plástico nuevamente sobre la mesa. Cuando dije que esto era algo antihigiénico y solicité nuevos cuchillos y tenedores, el miembro del personal gimió y tomó los artículos de mi mano y se fue furioso, trajo nuevos cubiertos, pero nunca se disculpó. Y cuando nos marchamos, era obvio que él y su universidad nos miraban mal a mi esposa ya mí. Además, ninguno de los miembros del personal usó guantes en ningún momento. Primera vez que visitamos, y nunca volveríamos.

We visited on the 14th March with our two children for Breakfast and have been previously. On arrival there was a sign saying cash only, however, upon checking the card machine was working. We ordered our drinks and food and then found a table. Drinks took a while to come out and when they finally arrived, had no tea spoons so had to ask for them. When the food arrived it was average. Park of the issue being one person was cooking everything so by the time they got to the 4th crepe the 1st was nearly cold. The cutlery was dirty, when I went to get fresh ones they were largely all in the same state which was disgusting. There’s seems to have been a deterioration in service and hygiene; won’t be visiting again.

I'm a coeliac (strictly gluten free, including cross contamination) and my friend is a vegan. Finding a lunch venue to cater for both of us is quite a task - this place not only smashed that, but managed to provide us food to share (as we both wanted a savory and a sweet crepe, but weren't feeling hungry enough to order 2 each! 🤣) Thank you!

Just been with my sister. Emma and Louis were soo helpful and friendly! Also I’m really picky about coffee but liked my flat white.

My sister and I came here for breakfast and we were delighted with both the service and food. Louis and Emma were very friendly and helpful and the short waiting time showed that they were being carefully made! The breakfast crêpes were delicious and the perfect portion size, as were the coffee and tea. We will definitely be returning!

Used to enjoy coming to this place.. but I won’t be coming back. They seem to have adopted a system of waiting that even McDonald’s hasn’t managed to stoop to. They give you an obnoxious buzzer to alert you to collect own food.. just lazy, especially considering price.. :(

Visited the Museum today and though id try something different. I have came across Crepeaffaire in London a few times but never actually tried it - so i jumped the gun and did. Well, i was very pleased! As a 'wanna be' vegan, i saw a huge menu and dived straight in. The service was excellent, i was told there was a new menu and 'Vee' provided a great recommendation for me with Vegan chicken. Im going to visit next time i'm here and most likely one in London too!

I had the goat cheese deluxe which contained walnuts. It was delicious. I had a limonata with it. I asked for a glass with ice for my drink. It was a plastic cup. I eat-in and my pancake was served to the table. It was not busy on my visit. Pancake arrived quick to table. Staff ok but not that friendly. Place seemed clean and there were power points by each table.

Vile attitude of girl working here last night (30/11) i couldnt understand why she was so incredibly rude and short with people. Needs to take a long hard look at herself.

Crepes were delicious milkshakes and smoothies great very busy it was a Saturday afternoon but the staff were very helpful & friendly and we did not have to wait to long cannot wait to go again wish there was one in Worcester

I had heard rumours that there is never any vegan available and they didn’t fail with we have none today line this was after asking can I help you and then immediately turning round to speak to her colleague before we had chance to order Drinks for my party minus me arrived but had to wait for birthday boys crepe as they didn’t start cooking it until the drinks have been started Then they emptied the bins and left them in a bag smelling right by our table

As we was waiting for our train decided to stop for a takeaway coffee. 20 minutes later it was finally ready no spoon offered, no sugar. Service was terrible and I'm sure the girl who was serving was talking about us as she was looking at us whispering and laughing with her equally slow colleague. Very poor service and would definitely not recommend or return.
