Dixy Chicken in Birmingham

The food was good but the sauces need flavouring. The drinks have also changed which is another - everyone using the ice brand 😐🫤

Didn't eat here, went to eat here and was thinking of what to order looking at the menu spotted a Asian guy who works there was wearing a red string bracelet doing some random rude gestures whilst touching his groin area as he facing one of his other colleagues and he was serving I felt sick and literally left, really weird and disgusting seemed like they was joking with each other, but he handles the chicken and cooks at the back, wouldn't go back here, I wouldn't have liked him touching my burgers after disgusting.

Today i paid £28 for snack packs and the chicken was not fried it was flipping alive and the fries where full of oil,this is the worst dixy i ever went to, and the smell was terrible people pay for this food but its not goodl!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡

Ordered a chicken fillet burger meal, chicken was rock hard and pink. Worker claims it was fresh. Fries were also horrid. Chilli was watery. Worker was disrespectful on the phone despite the food being untouched.

Customer service here was exceptional. Brothers at the counter really looked after me. Made my order extra quick because I had a long drive back. Everyone was super polite.

I recently visited Dixy Chicken, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The chicken lacked flavor and was not tasty at all. The fries were stale, and it seemed like they had been double-cooked in dirty oil, which was quite off-putting. Overall, the quality and taste of the food were far below my expectations. I won't be returning. And even the staff service was poor just stood around on the phones even when taking orders

Im so disappointed in them!! I paid 14.99 in total. For a kids meal popcorn chicken 3.99 and i must say absolutely rubbish 4 small popcorn chicken pieces it was smaller than a kids size with a small portion of fries. I mean come on a kid have a 2 minute potion? It was a good friday together and it was not busy at all there was only 2 people waiting and it took 26 minutes just for a wrap meal and popcorn chicken and a wings meal ( WHICH THEY GOT WRONG ) I asked for a wings meal but they gave me a mini burger and forgot the fries 😤. We had to go back in the shop to get the fries and they also forgot a drink!! COME ON DIXY, im so not impressed.

I popped in for a quick bite. I ordered the 5 spicy strips meal from the counter. The food was nice and fresh, and price-wise, I thought it was fair vs KFC, McDonald's, etc. However, the service was very slow, with zero personality or effort to engage myself or even apologise for the delay in waiting for fresh fries. I wasn't asked if I wanted to go large. Minimum effort is the tagline here. The store itself is really dated and grotty. I remember popping in a few years ago, and nothing has changed. Just more used and abused.

Was not good at all!! Bread was stale and was overpriced aswell as the quantity given it was poor. Mini burger meal went from 2.50 to £4 do not recommend at all.

The money we spent today was not worth the food! Fries were dry and crispy! Drinks were cheap and nasty! And the chicken was uncooked! It smelt as well..... Not happy. Dixy has gone downhill!!!! We certainly won't be going there again!

The food is average. It was quite pricey. They have a toilet which not many takeaways do. No music too which is great. They stopped selling coke/pepsi/7up after current events around the world and that made me happy. I appreciate it.

Absolutely disgusting ordered from here yesterday for me my son and nephews and all 4 of us have vomiting all night. We’ve all now got food poisoning from this. I’m now having to take my 10 month old son to the hospital because he has been vomiting non stop. Absolutely horrible food. Never ever ordering from here again. Over priced complete rubbish food. Please please please close your shop down, utter disgrace! Only thing is nice the shop layout the rest everything on the menus is complete disgusting, no flavour and taste.

Food was horrible,bland, low quality and very overpriced, I’ve paid exact same price for myself and 3 children at a much nicer place with much better quality food! The shop is falling apart, bits of tape holding the place together very outdated old furniture, toilets were filthy and not flushing, I felt really uncomfortable and icky eating here! Never again! Dixy Coventry Rd Birmingham Branch. What can I say but wow 👌🏽 absolutely the best Dixy I have ever been too. The food was 10 10, now I couldnt believe it myself but man i kid you not I've never had food this good from a Dixy. First time visiting, was driving past heading back to Walsall and we were hungry so spotted Dixy and pulled in. Up till this point I don't really rate Dixy as very good, it has always been mediocre at best when I've been to other Dixys but today it was beautiful. Walked in to a nice big store, nice and clean and was served by nice polite lady with glasses, i changed my order and she was totally fine with it which was a nice suprise. Staff all seemed pleasant but the food, I took it to the car and as we started eating we all looked at each other and said Wow this is cooked to perfection. The 1/4lb burger the fried chicken the nibblets the fries were all fresh and piping hot it was heaven Dont know if I was just lucky but I've never rated anywhere a 10 10 but I got to give credit where credits due the food was amazing and I mean all the food. Definitely one of my favourite goto place from now on well done guys 👏 👌🏽👍🏽

Avoid!!!!!!!! Diarrhea !!!! Just bought 7 mixed box which they game me burger and fries, also bought wings ..took it to work taste was below average. Next thing i know i got a really bad Diarrhea. I always look after myself and always clean.. But since i ate this food I bought from this dixy i had the worst Diarrhea ever..got me sweating amd losing sleep always running to toilet. I will never order from this place again..i will also report it to authorities for hygiene.

Food here now waaay overpriced... almost as if they are selling gourmet fresh food made from scratch ... prices have increased for a lot of things but £5.00 for a cheese burger meal is just silly!! £7.50 for a panini hilarious !! Burgers with Processed frozen meat brought wholesale then grilled and put in a bun is all it is... better off paying these prices at Pepes where at least the food is a lot more fresh in comparison...it's a fast food takeaway.. not a michellin star restaurant🤣

Store looks great. Location is also great. Food is hit and miss, mostly a miss. Burgers is often dry as if they've been prepared and sat in the incubator until someone orders it. Fries are thick and not fired for long enough. Menu is overpriced for what they serve up. There is elderly chap who hovers around the kitchen and prepares the fries often snacks on them while serving them up, bare hands. This placed used to be decent a few years ago, but not anymore.

I ordered chicken tikka salad. The food is tasteless. I added salt and sauce to it. So I can feel the taste. On the other hand, I have to wait for 15 mins. I have to pick it up.

Has to be the worst Dixy around without a doubt from the slow service to the poor food quality. Avoid like the plague. The cleanliness of the dining area and the smashed windows are an accurate indicator of the standard of the shop

Today 31 August 9.50 pm I bring 3 pieces chicken strips but thay didn't use any spice or any solt . 5/10 min I back them and show them look its coll chicken strips ..thay tell me its normal chicken strips ...I told them check one pic chicken no tast no solt no spice its only chicken fry and i told them you keep these its look like animals food..... there service is no good ...thay want to make money only used dixy name ...

There service and food very low quality..last week I take takeaways I open food pack then see no any spice or solt I want back to shop and show them look your chicken strips condition it's only chicken fried oil no spice or solt ...thay give me moor one prices chicken from self I tell them keep full pack I havent need this food...

One of the worst Dixy's around. For the size of it the food quality is atrocious. Had a wrap and burger right at lunch time and food tasted as if it was from the day before. Since changing owners several times the quality has really slipped.

It's good some good chicken wings, but most of the food is soggy Update : The food has actually gone downhill, it isn't as good anymore, the fries just taste like cardboard and so do the wings, no flavour at all and the lack of hygiene. I am very saddened as this was such a good place to eat but I surely do not recommend it anymore.

Second Time Same Quality One star for the can and the rest of the food was worst ever i had in my life🤮. If you cannot maintain the quality close the business don’t risk other’s health. ( I’m sure they are using the same oil for weeks ) Avoid this shop go somewhere else spend £5 more but you’ll get quality food

Was recommended this place by a friend as I dont live in Birmingham. Was excited however the food was just not up to expectations. Felt poor in quality and definitely beleive there is better alternatives out there. Maybe it was an in the day thing so Ill re try one day

Ordered over the phone, medium order, the fish panini I ordered had BARLEY any fish in it, I got a headache from eating it all I could taste was CHEESE and the Hard panini bread. What a steal because I actually feel like they used crumbs of fish that how poorly it was prepared.

Best dixy I been to nothing special just standard chicken shop meal but no complaints about the food or portions everything done on point, defo much better and beats all the dixy in east London which are a joke with their diet sketty burgers

I was reccomended this place but on the day of going in my husband was horrified by the lack of basic hygiene. Above the food prep station was a man on a ladder cleaning the vents fully visible to all customers. While a man underneath prepped food. He recorded a video of it and sent it to me. I told him to cancel the order but he already paid. He walked out and dumped the food in the trash. We reported to food standard agency and submitted the video. Surely this should be done before they open or after they close. I can't believe they did that in full view of customers. We never steeped foot back into that place ever again.

I love Dixy (Coventry Road) because we cannot find this specific taste anywhere else, as we love spicy food ,its spicy chicken wings and spicy burger are amazing, quality of food is good and prices are good as well.

Poor customer service. Chicken strip meal poor compared to other Dixy franchises I have been to. Serving staff just didn't want to be at work.

Staff are really good, attentive and polite when taking your order. Service is quick and they’re quite busy most of the time. Food is a hit and miss, can be lovely when made fresh but unfortunately this is not the case most of the time, it’s pre made and left in the food warmer display cabinet and then put into your burger or meal when you order which takes away from the food by the time you eat it. That being said, they are not stingy with sauces and throw in a good few always which is great. Overall, a decent place to stop by when you’re in a hurry!

Don't go if you want a dixy, otherwise It's okish. Hasn't got actual dixy food, so wouldn't be back. It's like every other shop now, fries are different and so is the chicken, it wasn't dixy chicken

Ordered a supreme burger, sizzler strips, wings and a party bucket. Food was mediocre and did not taste like it was freshly made, perhaps an old precooked batch? The biggest disappointment was the chips — tasted like they were old, possibly reheated twice, you get the gist. Unfortunately the highlight of the meal was the can of Pepsi.

Best Dixy Chicken. Has amazing food and also some desserts. Good seating aswell. Would definitely recommend this if your looking for a quick meal that's delicious. Love their Chicken Supreme burger so would definitely recommend that!!
