So this place doesn't have the atmosphere or decor of a Breton creperie but we were really impressed with the savoury crepes. Its straightforward and reasonable value. I was specially impressed that they had a decent range of vegan sweet and savoury crepes as well as standard ones. I enjoyed one from the vegan selection that included spinach, tomatoes and vegan cheese along with a generous helping of smashed avocado on top. My partner enjoyed a vegetarian offering with goats cheese, confit onion, spinach and walnuts. A good choice of hot and cold drinks. The only thing lacking that we would have liked to see on the menu is a side salad to accompany our crepes. I would happily return when in Summertown.

What a. Awful unfriendly unprofessional place . The Manager needs to be fired for the way he spoke to us . He deviated our visit to the Summertown Branch .. what a horrible awful experience

Mexican chicken crepe wasn’t awful but it was really barbecuey for whatever reason… wasnt really a fan. Other than that it was a cute space and did its thing I guess. Don’t know if it’s necessarily somewhere I’d come back to but it was far from bad

I don’t understand why it has bad reviews it’s such a great place in my opinion! Very calming environment. Music on. Refreshments very delicious. One thing I will say though is please have more conversations with the customers to encourage them to come back.. joke around with them more. Apart from that i enjoyed my visit… I will be sharing this place with others to visit :) Thank you

My family proceeded ahead while I parked our vehicle. Upon joining them, I discovered that the children had already received their ice cream. Unfortunately, the establishment, which is relatively new, was disappointingly neglected. The tables, noticeably untouched, bore remnants from previous patrons. Though the place had only two other occupied tables, one could have forgiven this oversight had it been bustling with activity. Regrettably, this was not the case, given that it was a hot Friday afternoon during school holidays. It wasn't until I visited the restroom that the blatant lack of basic hygiene became apparent. The unsanitary condition of the facilities was utterly appalling. The overflowing sanitary bin, clearly intended for disposal purposes, highlighted the complete disregard for cleanliness. Within the brief minute I spent inside, it seemed as though months had passed since the area received any form of cleaning attention. Even the hand dryer was coated with a thick layer of dust. Fortunately, I had my own hand sanitizer, as attempting to wash one's hands would likely have resulted in a worsened state of cleanliness. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this establishment in the near future.

Lack of salad although advertised on board. Perfect for people who are happy to leave their children unsupervised in the play area where they can shriek and shout throwing noisy things about. Not perfect for others who are trying to relax and eat their snacks. Felt completely on edge with the noise and clatter.

We ate savoury crepes, which were reasonably edible, but expensive for what they were. The drinks ranged from nondescript to awful. The cloudy lemonade tasted like water with lemon cordial; the strawberry milkshake gave the impression of being based on chemical flavouring and was so sweet as to be completely undrinkable. The eating space does not feel particularly clean; amongst other points, a couple of tables had clearly not been wiped down, including the table we would have wanted to sit at. We might go back for a takeaway, but there are better offerings in Summertown.

We wanted a quick and light lunch and just saw this place as we were walking around Summertown. We ordered savory crepes, pesto formaggio and avocado superveg. Both were fine, and the orders were served very quickly.

Came to Marks and Spencer for coffee, asked for our tea and tea cakes! They did not have any tea cakes, this happens frequently when going to their cafes. All they say is it’s not available on that day, but it happens frequently!!! I’ve complained for years about this, not having goats or soya milk in the cafe!! They sell it in the shop, so they do have it!!! When toast came it was warm to say the least!!! Also staff were rude, they seemed annoyed we even asked and asked why it happens a lot! We didn’t really get an answer! Also when trying to pay the lady was rude and told me I had to wait, but she was really abrupt!!! Made me feel like I was an inconvenience! If I spoke to my patients like that, I would be warned!!! When we walked to the tables not one was clean, we had sat down for about 10 minutes before they started to clear them!!! Inefficiency at its best!!!

I have ordered coffee 4 times there over the last 6 months, and everytime it has been undrinkable. The Americano in particular is bitter water with no taste of coffee. I noticed that their espresso brewhead is much shallower than most coffee machines, so they pack much less coffee than in other cafes. I had coffee with other people here and all have the same complaints. The cakes and pastries are fine though, that's why I give it a 2.

Disorganised, staff seemed confused, lack of basic condiments. Food and beer was good though!

Yep, another day trip to Oxford having been introduced to Knoops last December. A range from 34% to 80% this time. Three out of four excellent. The 80% was rather disappointing, probably down to the fact that it was vegan ( had not spotted that) such that different milk was used and possibly more water. Will concentrate on the 70% for our next visit. Blueberry slices and Pain au Chocolat both fabulous. And great service. Hayling Seagoon

Actually, we had a number of dinners & breakfast during the 5 days in Oxford. The quality of food and service was superb! The level of cuisine is quite high -- especially the Tagine -- not to miss.
