Had 2 really delicious crepes - one savoury, one sweet. Both my husband and I agreed they were the best we've had for ages - full of flavour. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back next time we are in the area. There was a big menu with lots of choice. Nothing not to like! Would highly recommend

Wonderful crepes, great atmosphere, but just be weary if you are a lone diner. Had the unfortunate experience of finding a table, choosing my crepe and going up to the till to order and pay. only to go back to the table to find someone else had taken it. Somewhat disappointing.

We went here for breakfast on a Saturday. The place was extremely busy when we arrived and we expected a long wait to get any food. We were pleasantly surprised when the food arrived quite quickly. We asked if they could bring my meal out as soon as possible as I'm diabetic and was having issues withy blood sugar levels at that point. The food was lovely too. Its a pleasure to get a freshly cooked crepe and not just one they have reheated badly. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

During a two-week post-lockdown break in Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire, we called in this place twice, once for morning coffee and once for lunch (the second time with friends in tow). Both visits were very pleasant. The lunch consisted of a savoury crepe followed by an ice-cream sundae. The savoury crepe was very tasty and full of fresh ingredients. The accompanying coffee and decaf tea (bravo, not all places have decaf tea!) was very good too. The prices represented very good value for money, considering the standard of the fare served. We were served promptly and with politeness. There was a constant stream of customers calling for take-away items, and it seems this place is deservedly popular.

We visited this place as a party of 6 and sadly we were unable to find someone to sit. There were many tables of four-6 being taken up by just 2 people. There was one table which would seat 6 with just 1 person sat at it, we hovered around waiting to grab a table when 5 more people came in and sat with this 1 person and then proceeded to eat pies which were obviously not from this place. I feel that these people should have been moved on - Seriously 6 people around 1 milkshake and then eating food from elsewhere! However once we finally got a table the food was lovely, as were the staff.

This is a tiny little cafe type place. Was totally unimpressed with being completely ignored when we came in and waiting at the service counter. Staff not making eye contact but could see us. As nobody was serving I moved around the counter to ask if we could get drinks and one of the staff made her way to the counter but another customer - a guy and his two kids pushed past and put their very slow order in ahead of me. They knew he jumped in front of me but served him. My son was sat at the table patiently waiting - after nearly 10 minutes of the ignorant rude guy still dithering with his order we gave up and left. The lady taking orders rolled her eyes at how long he was taking but by that time I’d had enough. There are some very nice eateries in Risborough that deserve local support but I will never go back here again. Poor customer service all round.

We found Crepe Escape on Tripadvisor and made a point of visiting. Our tea was delivered promptly but almost finished by the time we received our crepes. We went for one elaborate and another plain cinnamon and sugar. Sorry to report, but neither was good, and we thought that the batter had been thinned down too much so the crepe was papery stiff and rather lacking in taste. This could not be disguised by the toppings. I am sure the shop was just having a bad day.

I visited with my daughter in law, three year old granddaughter and five month old grandson. Lots of other young families, the toy box was a nice idea as was the microwave to heat babies' food and bottles. The menu is great with little pancakes for little people at only £1.50 and big pancakes with interesting fillings for bigger people at around £6.00. My daughter in law had bacon, Brie and cranberry and I had chicken, ricotta and spinach, my granddaughter had the toddler's Nutella crepe and we enjoyed them all. Breastfeeding is absolutely no problem, quite a few mothers were sitting comfortably feeding their babies and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. We will certainly make it a regular place to visit.

It looks clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The menu is good - I went for a apple crepe (apple cinnamon). It was "ok"........there was lots of apple and I felt this overwhelmed the taste of the crepe. I almost wished I'd ordered sugar and lemon only. I also ordered a butterscotch milkshake, which was lovely. There were 2 others tables in the cafe - both with screaming children. This is the last thing I needed when taking a quick break in between work meetings......from the number of high chairs, I get the impression this is the norm (and a huge reason why I'll probably avoid in future!). Went back this week. It seems the Crepe Escape has a fan club. Evidence: reviews on here, and it is still here.It IS a nice place to stop. Very nice ambience and decor, and they clear the tables promptly, unlike dirty Costa across the road. And the dessert pancakes look fairly conventional. But the savoury ones.....just not to my taste. I wonder if anyone else feels the same way. Apparently not, by the reviews on here. I can only say, we would be there all the time if the fillings were up to scratch. I just don't want fatty bacon with apple pie filling from a can laced with citric acid, drenched in sickly maple syrup. Butit seems to be doing well without us. So we will keep getting in the car and going to pizza express in High Wycombe almost every weekend . It makes me so cross. This could be so much better.Equally, from a budiness point of view the owner deserves praise for launching a creperie and making an apparent success of it.

Nice to watch the pancakes being prepared to order. But they are thickish, doughy pancakes rather than crepes. That makes them filling but not too flavoursome, especially as our fillings were not fully cooked through- for instance grated cheese remained grated.Lots of pushchairs and children in the week, but that didnt trouble me.

My friend and I wanted a midmorning treat and decided to pop into the Crepe Escape which was buzzing with customers,- we had to wait a few minutes for a table but it was worth the wait. I had a bacon and banana and maple syrup crepe which was delicious. My friend went for the bacon, brie and cranberry which was equally delicious. A lovely friendly and cosy "Escape" . Well definitely be going back.

my normal coffee shop is closed for refurbishment and as we are spoilt for choice in PR it was just by chance I went in the Crepe Escape and it turned out to be a good choice ,the staff are excellent place your order at the counter and it is brought to your table for you , good coffee with hot milk if you wish, it was nice to be offered a choice, only had a sandwich so cannot comment on the rest of the food but what I had was very good ,will I use this cafe again YES

Just popped into town to get my hair cut and really fancied a cup of coffee. I had noticed Crepe Escape in town but not gone in before because I have not been overly impressed with the coffee served in many of the cafes in the area but I was curious today. My curiosity definitely paid off. You get a choice of smooth or strong coffee, the cappuccino's are frothed perfectly and you get free filter coffee refills if you order food with your coffee. I also fancied trying their crepes and was not disappointed, very light and a wide selection of sweet and savoury fillings. The atmosphere is very relaxed, they have a comfy sofa and the staff are very warm and welcoming. Will definitely be returning for another cup and crepe!

My friends & I have been eating here regularly for years now - I recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian or Nepalese cuisine (a good selection of really tasty dishes, good value and catering for different levels of spicy 'heat') and they're serving some more 'traditional' pub fare again now, too. They know how to look after their ales and have a selection of lagers, plus cider and all the usual drinks you'd expect to find in a pub. The staff are great - friendly & helpful, get to know their regulars and I've lost count of the number of times that I've just been thinking that "I ought to go and order food" when, as if by magic, someone will appear to take my order. The place is divided into separate 'restaurant' and 'pub' sections, with a good-sized beer garden in front, so you can pick your preferred setting for food &/or drink. There's a decent car park in front, too, with free parking for customers.

Turned up for a late lunch with the family, told 'we don't do food, haven't for years'. Decided to stay for a drink; slow service, rude (bar staff just stood there staring at us), and then some kid tried to sell us drugs from a menu on his phone. Real classy place. Certainly won't be returning.

Superb food. Service was good but the truffle chips are a waste of money so don't bother. A very solid 8.5/10

We stopped by after a long hike along Chiltern Hills and we didn’t regret a bit - the food of chef El, the service of lovely Cynthia and the overall kind hearted atmosphere of the place was incredible - just what you need after a long walk!
