Wouldn’t come back. Dirty tables, selection very limited and they took over 15 mins to make a coffee. Ice cream wasn’t bad but staff were terrible

Most dire establishment I’ve ever set foot in. We were greeted by a naked child running around while another blew smoke into his unclothed child’s face. Staff didn’t seem to care. The toilets were an entirely different level. Every single bodily fluid including the beginnings of covid ‘23 were found in here, faeces, vomit, and I’m not quite sure what some of it was. Can’t say I’ll be hurrying back

5/5 it was so good, if you come to Newcastle you have to eat at Creams . I was very happy with my husband trust me this it was great

We called in here on a quiet Monday afternoon and while the food was delicious, the place was filthy. The tables and floor were so sticky, every table had spills and rubbish on them and the toilets stank. If it hadn't been for having promised our toddler some dessert, we wouldn't have eaten here due to how grubby it was!

One of my holiday highlights. It was a treat having a plant based raspberry shake. Thoroughly recommend

Went for some ice cream on a beautiful day in Newcastle. Stephen greeted us and was so friendly and informative. Both of us had sundaes. Never tasted sundaes as nice anywhere. Great choice of ice creams and waffles, crepes etc. Unfortunately none of these restaurants in Ireland or Northern Ireland. When in the area again will surely visit.

We visited Creams a few months ago and went back as soon as we were back in Newcastle this weekend m, it is absolutely delicious best waffles we have ever had! We can’t wait to come back,

We had decided before our dinner out that we'd move on somewhere else for coffee dessert and Creams suited our purposes very well with sorbets and ice creams for those with not much space left and more substantial offerings for others. Not a place which just supplies sweetness, there was real flavour here. Great location.

Clean and nice restaurant, lovely staff, very friendly and attentive. We had waffles, cookie dough and vegan cookie dough

We popped in for some ice cream and were happy with the service from all the staff. So friendly, chatty and bubbly. Will definitely come back for some ice cream or maybe a waffle next time, there's so much to choose from!

If you want that once in a blue moon load up on empty calories this is the place. Loaded up waffles with as much chocolate, toffee, cream and ice cream as you can shake a stick at. Yum yum Salad lovers would be better avoiding. Upset to not have a crepe as the crepe maker wasnae working.

In Newcastle for a couple of days with the kids. Found this place and glad we did. The waffles were great and the service excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Food was nice. We had a choc fudge sundae and a cheesecake. Tables were socially distanced and staff were friendly and informative. Only big downside was the toilet. Toilets were out of order so only using the disabled. Toilet was unclean and nothing to dry hands with.

Second time ordering from here. Got the exact same thing both times. First time we ordered the cookie dough (triple treat), it was a solid portion and delicious. Ordered the same again a couple month later and it was cold, and about half the size -- an absolute rip off. Head the warning and order from Kaspa's instead.

Creams for those who have been to Kaspars is just a cleaner version of its neighbouring pudding place. Creams also boasts much better service, the guy with bright hair was enthusiastic in their COVID regs even though he’d probably said it 100 times before that day. You feel very safe and comfortable in the cafe, with sufficient precautions taken. Really flavourful and thick milkshake. Milk chocolate cookies dough was also next level although I would have liked it with custard if possible. My negatives: are I was disappointed by the use of plastic straws and spoons. Both really unnecessary.

Entramos para encontrar señalización cero y todo el personal escondido, así que no teníamos idea de si teníamos que esperar o sentarnos. Luego nos obligaron a estar de pie junto a la puerta y no nos sentaríamos hasta que hiciéramos un seguimiento y rastreo a través del lector QR (entiendo por qué era necesario hacer T y T, pero ¿por qué el código QR ya que no tengo idea de cómo acceder al mío? ¿Por qué no simplemente escribirlos? Luego nos llevaron a una mesa que estaba sucia y con salsa pegajosa por todas partes (no es genial durante una pandemia sabiendo que su mesa no había sido limpiada) y nos dieron un menú con malas opciones para helados y helados. A menos que le guste el helado o el sorbete a base de chocolate, sus opciones son bastante patéticas para cualquier cosa afrutada porque todo lo que había era fresa.Luego obtuvimos nuestros postres, nos dieron cucharas de madera para comer, lo cual fue horrible y la textura de los tenedores de madera, palos, etc. me hace sentir mal. Had a chocolate brownie. Was warm, shame the menus were a bit shabby and the tables sticky. Seemed a bit short staffed. Nice cake though!

Steven was very welcoming and helpful. The food was a very generous portion. Always a fun place to visit

Family visit. Unexpectedly good. Ordered 3 crepes and an M&Ms sundae. The service was great. Friendly, welcoming and happy to make changes/deal with extra requests. I faffed on a fair bit and they were pretty patient. All the food preparation staff were using gloves etc. The restaurant was clean and it’s really good that they have free jugs of water to help yourself.Food arrived quickly. Crepes are delicious. They don’t taste like they’re made using ready made catering batter - it seemed quite fresh. Similarly, the ice cream is fresh and not crystallised old leftovers. Nutella crepe and white bueno crepe highly recommended.

Visited on a warm day, for which the open sliding doors were very welcome. Sundaes were delicious and value for money, though expensive at about 6-8 quid per. Coffee was nice and comparably priced.Only downside really was that it was noisy (it was Saturday evening and the restaurant is located right in the corner of a well known rowdy drinking spot) and that we waited 5 minutes after receiving our Sundaes for my partner to get her cookie dough and my coffee to arrive. Overall good, though I would avoid on friday/Saturday evenings.

Met straight away at the enterance and shown to a table. Given 3 different menus. We chose a bubble waffle. Wow! It came with 3 different types of ice cream. Very nice. It cost £20 for 2 waffles and 2 drinks. Very clean and staff were helpful and friendly.

I always get a strawberry and coffee ice cream for me and my mother. The staff are nice and friendly. I would recommend the coffee ice cream for all coffee ice cream lovers out there.

We were pushed for time so called in for a take out shake. The staff were friendly, helpful and informative. My daughter chose a thick shake made with gelato. The service was quick and my daughter loved her milkshake. The desserts looked delicious so we plan to return soon to try these out. The shake was competitively priced.

Seriously the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted, absolutely amazing!! I would definitely recommend this parlour, we will be back. Great staff.

We know what to expect from Creams so we were very excited when we saw this one in Newcastle.There was no air conditioning in the shop and it was boiling. All the doors/windows were open and there were a few tables that were dirty with finished plates and there was about 4-5 members of staff all standing behind the counter laughing talking and on their gadgets.The member of staff , Simon, who took our order was very disinterested and got one of our orders wrong but we felt unable to complain as we would have to wait longer for another crepe to be made correctly.There were dirty tables and the water jugs were empty.The crepes were delicious however.The crepes we got were good yet

The Starwberries, raspberries and Mellow freakshake was just amazing! It came topped with mr wippy ice cream, what more can you want. The other half had a banana and mango extra thick shake and it was one of the tastiest creamiest shakes I've tasted. Will be back for a sundae and a waffle

We stopped off on my way to the station. We were given a menu, told to take a seat and order at the till when we were ready. The menu is very, very detailed and making a decision wasn’t easy! In the end we asked for a banana burrito, a glass of milk and a two scoop ice cream cone. This came to £11.30. I did think this was quite expensive, however, the ice cream cone was enormous and I couldn’t finish it. Even though it was copious, the particular ice cream I ordered was just okay (speculoo and mint choc chip). My son couldn’t finish his banana burrito either - this was much more delicious by the way!

OMG! The salted caramel ice cream is the best thing I've ever tasted. I've had bubble waffles, waffles, crepes and sundaes there and enjoyed them all. The staff are lovely, I cant wait to go back.

My partner and I visited here after being out in Newcastle. The food was delicious! The experience was made by our server Steven who made sure we had a warm welcome. He was extremely upbeat, very polite and friendly!! Would very much like to say a massive thank you on behalf of my partner and I :)

El Very Cherry Sundae fue mi postre de ensueño hecho realidad, pero cuando regresé por más al día siguiente, ¡se habían quedado sin cerezas! En lugar de eso, me dieron fresas que habrían sido más caras, pero lo siento, mi labio inferior aún sobresale como un niño mimado.

Tenía un buen postre desde aquí. Masa para galletas y un batido. El menú es enorme! Lo encontré un poco confuso con todas las opciones; Como hay muchas formas diferentes de personalizar tu postre. Es un poco caro, pero vale la pena si quieres darte un capricho o la familia.

Had a take away coffee ice-cream here, which was lovely and creamy and I would recommend anyone who loves coffee ice-cream here to try it here.

Went with a group of friends for an afternoon treat on a Saturday. Wow, what an extensive menu. They sell a LOT of deserts here and clearly can cater for everyone. I opted for the chocolateer sundae and was a bit disappointed as my friend had ordered a waffle and that looked amazing. It cost me £9 for my sundae and a bottle of coke so that's why I wouldn't say its on the cheap side. However, the portions are very generous. If I were to come back I would definitely get a waffle or a crepe! The staff were very friendly as well and quick to take us to our table and explain how we ordered.

Having gone out for meal the previous night with no desserts on offer we craved ice cream, my wife not an ice cream fan had an excellent sorbet and I had an ice cream sundae, washed down with a smoothie and thick milkshake. Felt like a kid again for a short while

We took our 8 and 9 year old sons for Ann evening treat. They insisted they choose from the full menu which I allowed as it wasn't too extensive and I knew they wouldn't manage everything she we would get a taste too!!

Finally gave in after seeing numerous instagram/Facebook posts from friends. Wasn't disappointed. Had a pop waffle with banana, vanilla and salted caramel ice creams, fudge bits and caramel sauce. Wife had a waffle with bubblegum ice cream and skittles. Not going to need to eat for the rest of the day

We visited the Creams on a Tuesday night and just wanted to write a review to say that we enjoyed our desserts and enjoyed the atmosphere, but what compelled me to leave a review was the service we received, Steven who was working front of house that night is an absolute asset to your company, he was attentive but not overbearing and really lifts the vibe of the place, well done to the team you have there, not forgetting Robert and David who are producing the food, great waffles and cookie dough and presentation and portion size was great :-)

Totally beautiful deserts here at Creams, Newcastle. I highly recommend this place for a tasty desert- all of the dishes served here are very well presented, taste beautiful and are very filling indeed. It’s a must visit place.

we called in with the kids for an ice cream treat. The ice cream was good and so was the service. My only observation was the place seemed a bit dirty. We would go again, they might have just had a very busy day.

Mi novio y yo hicimos un pedido a través de Deliveroo y faltaba helado de coco y me decepcionó el sabor del batido de plátano. Hicimos una llamada telefónica y luego una visita a las cremas y reemplazaron el batido y el helado faltante. Solo quería agradecerle a quien presumo, al gerente y al encargado de la caja registradora en el momento de nuestra visita, ya que fueron amables y se disculparon y trataron nuestros problemas de inmediato sin ningún problema. Para mí, esto solo muestra las excelentes habilidades de administración y servicio al cliente que tienen y son una gran ventaja para el equipo y la marca de café cremas. Gracias, disfrutamos el resto de nuestro pedido, el batido sabe increíble y volveremos a comer allí de nuevo.

We were 'served' by Peter. He grunted if we wanted a table, popped down the menus then mumbled 'you order at the till' and went. My wife didn't even understand what he said, luckily we've been a few times before.

Came here on a nighttime with my boyfriend we ordered the cookie dough white chocolate which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and I ordered one of the sundaes both were delicious and really good portion size will definitely be back and recommend to anyone

3 children and 3 adults ordered various ice cream concoctions. I had the apple crumble waffle which was really good although I did find the soft ice cream on the side a bit sickly sweet. Orders took a while to arrive and came in 2 batches but 1 seemed to get totally lost and arrived after most of us had finished. Staff were apologetic but it wasn’t that busy and on last day of school summer holidays I would have thought they would be ready for groups. We also asked for tap water and were told it was in a jug on the counter. All 3 jugs were empty and (despite promises) were not refilled during the whole time we were there. I know they don’t make money on tap water but we spent nearly £50 at the table and were there a long time because of the delay. Despite all that the kids loved it (couldn’t finish bubble pop waffle with 3 scoops) and no doubt will return!

They always have big portions which I can rarely finish, even though they are so good, and nice staff. Would expect this from this restaurant chain though.

I got recommended this restaurant chain and I was not disappointed. The dessert I had was simply gorgeous (and very filling). The staff were very friendly as well, which made my first Creams experience better. Definitely worth a visit here.

The ice cream palour is one of the best ive visit the staff are so helpful and desserts are the best my grandaughter and nephews love to visit every couple of weeks

Have been a few times with large family groups. You get served straight away and the order doesn't take too long to arrive. The ice-cream is lovely, so are the waffles and pancakes. But it is terribly overpriced for what you get. Almost £12 for a sundae is quite extreme; you don't even pay that in Harrods!

Visited for first time on very hot sunny day while having a weekend break in Newcastle. As you'd expect the place was packed but we were seated in just a couple of minutes.

The ice cream sundae we each had itself was lovely! We unfortunately got charged £2.25 extra for the ice cream which when we noticed they dealt with well but then they then forgot to put pretzels on the ice cream which we paid for. They then put far too many on the ice cream which I had to take off. The sundaes were quite expensive and we didn’t have any money compensated to us. Wouldn’t go again

Greeted politely at the door by young man and showed him a picture of what I wanted from TripAdvisor. He explained that ice cream machine was broke so they could do it but with cream on top.

popped in before Ed Sheeran concert , got sat down straight away and promptly got told the ice cream machine was broken but we could have the more expensive option if required(with no discount) , this was before we even looked at the menu and I felt a bit sorry for the young man who had to explain all of this,we all chose our dessert inc strawberry crepe and a ferrero roche waffle and a choc pudd with cream , they all came after about 20 minutes but the choc pudd was frozen in the centre , we returned this and a new one was sent , all were tasty and deffo filled a spot , the place is starting to look a little tired and the toilet was broken leaving just the disabled one to use , there was a queue of 5 people at one point. decent enough place but more of a novelty than somewhere I would go often

We came here on a hot day. smoothie was very very lovely. Pancake was delicious! All worth it. Staffs are nice.

We visited last night for some Ice cream to take away. It wasn't very busy. We were ignored for a good bit at the counter, then served. The guy wasn't paying much attention when he made our cones and broke all my cone then had to start again.

My hubby and I recently visited Creams for some ice cream to cool down on a rare sunny day in Newcastle.

We popped into Creams for something sweet after our meal in Newcastle. My wife only wanted a coffee so picked a decaf since time was getting on.

We did not fancy the hotel buffet breakfast, so we wandered into town. We found this place which had a nice atmosphere and appealing menu. A lovely, leisurely breakfast.

I went to creams today and it was great, it’s a hot day and the Oreo milkshake I had was to die for and really cooled me down. The staff were friendly, really down to earth and chilled out especially Taylor.

We had been disappointed that we had not been able to get bubble waffles at breadpoint, they had run out a few days back and not expecting to get more in fro a week! So, wandering back through Newcastle we came across Creams. There staring at us out of the menu were the elusive bubble waffles. The girls both had More Oreo waffles, which were delicious, while we had lattes. The coffee was excellent too. So, for deserts, this is the place to come in Newcastle.

Desserts here are really nice and are reasonably priced. The Oreo cookie dough in particular was just amazing. Hot and tasty complimented with vanilla ice cream. Staff are really pleasant and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Went there 3 days on the trot, well we were on holidays after all. We’ve tried the sundaes, waffles, crepes and sorbet. Amazing, yes they are expensive but the portions were worth it.

My kids loved this place. Excellent deserts, plenty to choose from. Portions were large so be prepared to feel very guilty at the end! Great service. Staff were very helpful and attentive to our dietary requirements (gluten-free). Will definitely be coming back for more.

Fab selection of ice creams and different toppings, food was quickly served and very generous sizes for a big eater.

I absolutely love coming here with my friend. Every time we are in Newcastle we pop in! The food is amazing. I normally go for the cookie dough and ice cream mix, but combine white and milk choc chip cookie dough (a suggestion from one of the staff!) which is incredible!

I've always avoided this place as my wife is lactose intolerant, and was concerned there wouldn't be much for her. While that is true we did find some sorbet on the menu so thought we'd pop in for dessert, on the way to a gig. What an absolute treat we were in for!

We visited here as somewhere different as a treat for our young family 5 and under. The menu was vast and a lot of choice. There was a children's menu also for smaller portions. It was nice for a treat. Good portion sizes. There was no wait for a table for ourselves but at times while we were there. A queue formed of about 2 or 3 different tables waiting to be seated. Quick service with menus then you need to order at the till they dont take your order for you.

Walked past the cafe a few weeks prior and instantly made plans with my friends to go,the location was easy for us to all get to it as it’s located in the city centre perfect for shopping break and the deserts were amazing no doubt about it that I’ll be returning there’s something for everyone there with so many options you could never get board with going there

First time ive ever been, and I will be back, the deserts was absolutely amazing and the service was the best service I have ever had, compliments to all the team on monday 15th jan 18. We will be back thanks for such an amazing time and deserts!!!

Visit the place with some friends. The ice cream flavour are amazing and as expected. Lots of choices to choose as well. Coffee and chocolate are good to accompany your sweet stuff. Baby changing facilities as well exist.

I had such high hopes for a good dessert in here, but was a little disappointed! The service was really poor - the person on the till looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but there! The place was empty, so we tried to start a conversation about the various options, but they clearly were not interested, so we stuck to two sundaes.

The service absolutely terrible! They messed up our extremely easy order 2 times and tried to give our friends something that wasn’t theirs. We ordered a strawberries and Nutella crepe with specifically no nuts and they gave us a crepe with Nutella and nuts. This has happened in the past with disgusting establishment. They should be embarrassed.

The waffles and fudge cake are the best ever, white chocolate ice cream amazing I am addicted. At the end of the day it's a treat once a week.

My 12 year old son and 5 friends went for a birthday treat. We rang ahead to check for a table and on arriving the manager and his team worked hard to accommodate us on a very busy afternoon.

In Newcastle for the weekend and my daughter wanted to come for her birthday, ordered an item each, they are huge, could easily have shared one, but they were delicious, crepes, waffles and puddings all good. We hadn't been before and the staff were great, explained how it all worked, nice clean café, make sure you come when you are very very hungry!

Always pop here if im in Newcastle. The menu is a decent size and the desserts are always presented nicely and taste good.

Pop in here quite a bit with the kids service is nice kids love it to be fair not sure if I would visit if I was a couple but a nice place to call if you have a young family

All sorts of combinations & concoctions to satisfy the most serious sweet tooth is on offer at Creams. Icecreams, waffles, hot cookie dough, milkshakes etc. There is also a kids menu. Staff are very welcoming & service is slick. Somewhere for those special treats!

I reserved a table for 14 guests, to celebrate my daughters birthday, by sending Creams a message on their Facebook Page. When we arrived we were greeted by a member of staff, who then was waiting on our table. I found the menu to be alot cheaper than i imagined!! Especially the kids menu..which offers a fantastic choice of sundaes aswell as a create your own! For 10 children and my sundae from the adult menu, the cost was £34.94. After, the kind staff turned the music off, and played a special birthday song for my daughter who was 7, which was very special! While the music was playing, the waiter presented the cake to my daughter, by request of myself. The young man was extremely helpful, and provided takeaway boxes for each guest, at no extra charge. He had excellent customer service skills and i was very impressed with Creams overall..definately be back soon!

I literally go here nearly every week. So cheap and can guarantee it will fill you up! Portions are large and just dreamy😍

I have never been to a place like this before, I have never had so much to choose from before, it took ages for me to decide but I eventually went for the Banoffle crunch pop waffle, which was toffee ice cream in a huge pop waffle in a sundae glass with bananas, toffee sauce,chunks of toffee and crushed nuts, oh wow, it was delicious and huge, would recommend anyone to have a pop waffle here but there's so many to choose from. The only downside and the reason I didn't rate it five stars is the restaurant was so hot and a little overbearing and quite dark but otherwise great.

Service fantastic (Thanks Joe.) The desserts are massive and we were particularly pleased with the new Bubble Waffles.

Such a lovely place for desserts and for a great price. Kids love it here too for a treat, reccommend the oreo waffles, if you have a sweet tooth taste soo good!!

First time in Newcastle & first time here. Tried the bubble pop waffle & was really nice. Everyone was very friendly, especially Joe who was fab. Would definitely recommend a visit.
