I got the cookie dough with ice cream... the positives were the ice cream. That's all. Toilets ate shared.. it's 2023 and men still can't piss correctly. Cookie dough wasn't dough it was an over cooked crispy cookie. Definitely avoid.

Went with my toddler as he was craving dessert and we live 5 mins walk away. Not one customer in the entire dessert placd, given the crappy atmosphere and expensive prices I decided to just order two scoops of ice cream and no waffle/crepe. The guy at the til was a little rude. He was like "is that it.. nothing else?!" And I was thinking you should be happy you have ONE customer in your establishment. He was stingy with the ice cream scops which were far too runny for even sorbet and not the tastiest (also not the worst). Although it's an extra 10 minute walk will go to Treatz next time as Creams is not good value for money. The absolute least they could've done was given a generous scoop/ portion of ice cream. £3.95 for two scoops isn't all that cheap.. I wouldn't recommend to anyone I know

Visited yesterday for some dessert to take out. Assistance guy was running away and couldn't answer our questions properly. We ordered Ferrero Rocher cheesecake and oreo stock, both was stile and not fresh. No wonder the sbop was empty. Unfortunately when you open up branches on every street as to speak, the service and quality of food takes a hit. Never again!

The cashier was chewing a gum and was not polite at all. And the price is terribly rip off. Ridiculously

talk about customer service? manager, hugo provided the most impeccable experience ever. with the most warming greeting and friendly smile, i have to say that creams is back in my top 10 x the new interior is amazing and so colourful, definitely bringing all the vibes • will most definitely come by again when im in the area !!

Love there cookie dough. Staff was very friendly order was ready in 10 minutes. Tried there pistachio ice cream it was yummy.

New administration has really pulled through. Staff was very polite, helping. The quality has definitely Improved. I got my order before time.

I get there about 18:30 with my little neice who is turning 4 tomorrow and no one is there to greet us so I go to the counter to ask for a seat. Get to the table and the guy tells me to scan the code and all I needed to do was put on my camera. So I tried and after about 10 mins of trying he leaves so I go through the app and check in. He came back saw that I checked in and asked to look at the menu from the phone which was nt showing. Me being frustrated I let him know I'll take the ice cream to go. He asked me to get to the counter once there.. all four or five staff are standing about and not offering the menu or anything. So I ask where do we order and the lady answers right here looking at the man saying did they check in. Like I did not exist.. No manners no respect just rude people that should not be working for customers. Instead should be behind a screen not dealing with people. Get basic training for people skills. It is disturbing to know you all work in a place that is meant to be so welcoming. I will never go back.

Ordered some milkshakes from them through deliveroo, ordered 5 but only received 4. I asked to get a refund For the 5th milkshake that we didn’t get but it’s been a while now and still have not been refunded. I tried calling them a couple times but wouldn’t even pick up now. I’m not even annoyed about my missing order or even not getting the money back the customer service has just been ridiculous and this certainly isn’t the first time I’ve had bad customer experiences with them in the store too. Definitely do not recommend

DON'T EVEN BOTHER! Non-existent customer service, very over-priced, time consuming, unhygienic, understaffed, and completely clueless staff. No greeting, no apologies for their mistakes, sticky tables, we sat down to pick what we wanted from the menu, and 2 members of staff came within 10 minutes of us sitting down with desserts, asking if we ordered them. We got up to order from the till, waited 25 mins, and the lady was still serving the same family as when we got up! There was a second till that was not being used, there were only 3 members of staff in the shop. While waiting in line I was watching them making desserts and saw at least 4 food-hygene related issues! We couldn't wait any longer, so we just left. Didn't get to taste anything fortunately! But didn't want to pay £8 for poisoned food thanks.

Probably the worst restaurant I've ever been to. The ultra thick milkshake was just milk out of a bottle. The M&Ms sundae were just cheap value ones and two scoops of cheap ice cream for £6.45 what a rip off. You will get 100% better else where.

The manager at this shop was very attentious and helpful and provided an excellent service. The cookie dough was amazingly good.

We visited the slough brunch with our children today and the service was apploing the staff were arguing on the shop floor while we stood at the till to be served. Then the waffle machine was going off the guy stopped serving us ran to the machine n picked the waffle of with his hand . You could hear all the staff arguing after they went in to the kitchen, the red velvet cookie dough that we orderd was OVERHEATED in the microwave. The service was slow to say they had enough staff and it wasnt even busy. Once the staff came back u could hear them still arguing I will not be returning again.

Went with my family just now and after that experience, let me tell you I will not step foot in that chain ever again! Service was extremely poor. Workers had bad attitude, flies and moths flying near our table and the cookie dough I ordered was very underdone. Do not recommend for anyone

Visited this branch of Creams a few months ago and would have rated it as average but this time it was definitely my last. The fact that it wa so empty on a sunny Sunday afternoon is probably self-evident. Whilst taking the order the machine malfunctioned and she had to go through the whole order again . Checking the receipt I realised that there were mixed up and forgotten orders. To make matters worse we witnessed one of the staff take a cloth and wipe the counter. She then proceeded to wipe the plates with the SAME cloth! We immediately told one of the staff what she had done while her back was turned to which she was given a scolding over her incompetent hygiene standards. The lack of cleanliness and tidiness in the toilets was unbelievable My son then complained that his cookie dough wastoo soft and under done-especially in comparison to Treaz. Some reviews need to be taken with a pinch of salt as some customers complain for the littlest things but looking through these for this branch they are most likely true judging by my visit today. Try Windsor Creams-it's a lot better!

We ordered a “create your own” dessert and probably ended up paying more. The pancakes tasted old, stale and reheated. The ice cream was icy like it was sitting in the back of the freezer for a really long time. Staff were rude and the place was dirty with no positive atmosphere whatsoever. The one star I have begrudgingly given is far too generous.

While eating with my partner on Valentine’s Day... the manager and 2 workers were arguing right in front of us, shouting, while we stare at them they seem to not even care about how we was feeling.

Went mid afternoon and we were the only customers so suffice to say there was no atmosphere. Food was average at best but the service (what we had of it) seemed ok. Rather expensive too so we won't be back and would hesirate to recommend.

I first visited the creams café in Watford back in June, worst service ever had. when it came to closing time which I had no idea what that time was one of the shop floor workers was screaming for everyone to get out of the shop with me and my partner not even half way through our pricey pudding. I have never witnessed something like this before. we was even asked when we was seated if this was the first time being here and we said YES, so naturally I would of thought they would have said the closing time so we was aware but no!

Ordered a fererro roche milkshake couldn’t taste anything but cream or yogurt. The pancake I ordered was very hard and disaapointing as I was looking forward to it all day but did not finish it. Overall very disappointing and won’t be coming again.

I'm not a fan of gelato so when I visit places like this I tend to get a cake with soft serve ice cream. I ordered the Chocolate Dream. I was very disappointed as it was very bitter and the chocolate icing which had melted once it was heated up made the cake taste worse.

Came here with friends and the service was disgusting. The manager was rude and told me to serve my own drinks!

Met with 20 friends. The staff were very helpful and arranged the chairs and tables so we could all socialise well. That was a nice touch. The menu has changed recently but I wasn't disappointed. I had a banoffee pop waffle the picture showed bits but I couldn't see any.

Great relief on entering as it is extremely well air conditioned! In fact my son had to go outside at one point just to warm up! This was a birthday treat for him but actually my husband and myself enjoyed it just as much - great choice of flavours and combinations. Good service, friendly staff and clean, tidy establishment despite it being late in the day. Not the cheapest but taking into account portion size not unreasonable.

I came for brunch with my sister and her two young daughters. This was for brunch but there was no savory option at all. Also we were told there were no cakes (!) and also no ice, so no frappes available. Staff did apologise for that.

This place is simply incredible. Menu is 6 pages of beautifully designed sundaes. Huge variety of gelato. Suggest you skip the soft serve which is otherwise big standard.

Honestly, how the hell does a desert parlour run out if ice cream on a busy day ? Was it a stock issue? Did they not plan ahead? Absolutely horrible service given to us last night.We went in there in the evening for a nice desert. We had to wait 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were waiting. We then had to wait 10 minutes to be seated when there was plenty of seats available. We got to the counter to place our order, only to find out that they had run out of soft ice cream. We then negotiated and managed to substitute soft ice cream for whipped cream for what we ordered. We was told to sit down and our order would be with us in 5 minutes. After waiting 20 minutes, we went back to the counter to only find out that they thought our order was a " take away " despite telling them our table number. Absolutely horrible experience and would not be going there again.

Absolutely amazing place for desserts, specially ice-creams. Generous helping, good quality, fast service. Hollywood style themed decor inside. Credit cards accepted including Amex. Paid parking available close by.

Terrible service... very rude staff!!!. They don't accept cards and cash only. They has been accepting cash only since they opened their restaurant 3 years ago. They have charging people VAT but there is no VAT number in their receipts. No wonder it has been closed for awhile...

The ice cream is fabulous but they sat us right at the back of the shop where there was no lighting and it's dark and dingy. We moved into the light :)

I LOVE CREAMS as a rule of thumb, I've been to several of the different franchises but the customer service in this one is by far the worst. Just visited, and upon entering requested a high chair for the little one at the booth we sat at. No-one showed us to a table, and we had to clear the table ourselves. I then had to go get the menus myself and re-request the high chair when no one bothered to come over to the table. I then got up to place our order, and specifically requested the rocher sundae. When our order came, the attendant who had taken my order bought along a rocher waffle, when i told him this wasn't what I had ordered, he then bought back a copy of the receipt showing me it said waffle and i had ordered the waffle. I then repeated that no I had definitely ordered the sundae. (If he logged it in error on the receipt and system this is not my fault).He then apologised and bought a sundae which all would have been fine and well, had we not then heard him gossiping to his colleagues about it as we were leaving and for them to then respond by loudly and sarcastically thanking us as we left.I can see by the other reviews that many others have had a bad experience due to customer service at this particular branch. It's high time the staff at this café got the necessary training in pleasant customer service and polite people skills.

I went into creams to get a milkshake to take away and Ended up waiting 40 minutes for 1 milkshake. No one should have to wait 40 minutes for one drink!

Took the kids on half term break,which you expect them to have been staffed for.The staff they did have weren't exactly the sharpest tools in the box & that's being polite.Most of the ice cream trays were empty.Tables were dirty and full of left over plates,we could hardly hold a conversation over the gangster hip hop and r n b the said staff deemed suitable for a family environment.The desserts themselves though we're OK to be fair.But would I go back again or recommend to anyone ?NO.

Where do I start. The table was sticky and un-clean. The place was empty and it still took over 20 minutes for our ice creams to arrive. When they did, they were half the size of the pictures and melting rapidly as it was so hot. Someone else needs to start a competitor to this place and show them how it's really done with high quality customer service and real care and attention to the details. Absolutely appalling!!!!!

We were excited about visiting this cafe as a family. We sat down and waited,then realised we had to order at the counter.We decided to look at the menu first and as we sat there we realised how filthy and sticky the table was and then we looked at the floor ,even worse. We were not prepared to put our health at risk with dodgy icecream if the surroundings were so dirty! So we walked out!

Been to a few other Creams joints and was quite happy I found one closer to home. However, I have visited this one on a number of occasions and found the staff pretty useless and the service extremely slow. I love my desserts but don't like wait an eternity for one! So much so, I left to go elsewhere. Highly unlikely to return to this branch anytime soon!

Went with family for ice cream with dog as normally they have outdoor seating 19/06/15. On this occasion they didn't bothered. We asked and told to take chairs and table outside ourselves. Risk of personal injury claim getting customers to do it! Ice cream was good though. Nice and cold for this warm weather.

This place reminds me of a seedy strip club, tacky decor, lots of shiny black and purple everywhere. Its dark and dingy, and filthy. We waited for about 15 minutes and eventually we got to the front of the queue, and were seated. We were handed menus that looked like they had been printed a few years ago, and had been screwed up in a ball and driven over several times. The scratched lamination made it hard to read. I can't imagine its hard or expensive to print new ones. We saw another customer eating a big square plate of ice cream, it looked good so we asked her what it was - The chocoholic sundae, she replied. So, off we went and ordered a chocoholic sundae, for about seven quid. It arrived, maybe 4-5minutes later, and it looked good, however there is one problem. This desert is 95 percent whipped cream (and whipped cream is 95 percent nitrous oxide). When something is called "Chocoholic" you expect copious ammounts of chocolate, however this was not the case. The plate consisted of two small balls (about 30-40mm diameter), a little chocolate cup with some mr whippy type ice cream in, and then the plate was just covered in a three inch deep layer of cheap whipped cream. I then saw that they don't even use GOOD whipped cream, its just that canned stuff you can get from Lidl or aldi or whatever it is next door. You would think as a specialist desert place they would use those cream whippers with gas and real fresh cream. This place must go through cans of whipped cream like a crack den though needles. So, in summary, if you want to eat a plate of whipped cream in a strip club, surrounded by filth, and pay £7 for the privalidge, then this place is absolutely perfect for you.If on the other hand, you want quality and value for money, go to McDonalds and get a McFlurry.

Popped in recently and was quite shocked at how filthy the floors were - as in not having been washed for days. I've lived in Africa and eaten in far worse so stayed. The food was excellent. The service good. Overall I wouldn't recommend it though as the place was do dirty

Creams is very popular with my friends so we went to go check it out one Sunday morning for a late breakfast. We got there at 11:30 as it opens at 11 and the place was empty. It was so dark in there and while the staff didn't ignore us, they weren't really the best. Not friendly in the slightest and actually when I put my waffle on instagram and clicked the creams hashtag I saw that they were actually a lot more stingy with the ingredients than at other places. I felt pretty sick afterwards but the waffle was delicious I must say. Just shame about the atmosphere and staff there. Pro tip 1: The American cream soda is disgusting, don't go for it. Pro tip 2: If you are looking for a nicer place along these lines, L'lenos in Maidenhead is probably what you're looking for.

Took my daughter here for a treat today, service wasn't great. Gap of about 15mins between our orders, would have complained but daughter gets embarrassed. Wouldn't have minded too much, but the staff weren't even busy, and were just standing around chatting. Surely everything should be served at the same time, even McDonalds manage that. Also, our two 'stucky' menus were different so was a bit confusing when trying to order. On the plus side, the desserts were delicious!

I decided to take my sister here for an afternoon indulge and was utterly disappointed. The biggest let down being the horribly rude staff.When we entered the dark noisy restaurant it obviously wasn't busy and yet we had to stand and wait while the staff were standing around the till having a chat. Then when one of them finally bothered to come over after several glances in our direction, she took us to a booth style table (horribly sticky and dirty) chucked some equally sticky menus at us and left without saying a word. It became apparent to us that we obviously were going to have to go up and order at the bar as no one was going to come to us, so I went a stood by the till with my menus. I was ignored for 5 minutes by 4 members of staff! Annoyed, I then asked one of the boys 'can I please order some food?' In which he sniggered at and continued to ignore me!!! I have never felt so unwanted at any restaurant in my life. Finally I was served and took a seat back at my table.We'd asked for some tap water and were thrown some half full kids plastic disposable cups which I drank in one mouthful.The only enjoyable part of the visit was the food which was quite enjoyable once it came, however our visit was utterly ruined by the poor service and rudeness of the staff and surroundings.Horrible visit and I will never be returning which is a shame because I feel if the staff were half way decent it would be very popular.

Been here a number of times and the one thing that lets it down is the staff. They clearly aren't trained well. They show people to tables but then forget to take orders for longer then one would expect also you might make a quick order like a milkshake to takeway but this can take 20 minutes. Also they do not take any orders on the phone for takeway.Food is good though esp for the sweet tooth however you may need to wait a while for your food

I love creams, it's definitely for you if you have a sweet tooth! However, I would recommend that you share the desserts as they are huge! It's not cheap, but the desserts are fantastic and I don't believe it's overrated :)

I went with my Mrs yesterday for a late breakfast. Entered and there was a sign asking us to wait for a staff member. Someone noticed us very quickly and (note) from behind the service counters asked us to pick the menus from one table and sit on another (pointing at tables). Went to place order and the lady could not even understand replacing bananas with strawberries. Cafe Latte came... Loved it!Nutella Crepe came... Presentation was perfectly flawless. Pancake, not hot. Most definitely not fresh. Probably microwaved. Waiter who came to give extra utensils asked if everything is ok but we didn't want to complain. We finished and left without anyone saying thank you for visiting or nothing. Sad experience.

Even though the ice cream sundaes we had were delicious the service on both occasions that I visited were appalling! The manager redeem himself the second time by giving a free cupcake but it makes me not to want to go back! Both times staff had forgotten us!!!

I went in with two excited teenage girls, so disappointed that my daughters Ferrerro Roche gelato sundae costing £6.95 was substituted for cheap chocolate ice cream believing we would not the difference. My waffle was slapped together and had no caramel sauce but I neglected to complain because I didn't want to ruin girls treat! Very unhappy that staff think we would know the difference!

Worst service in history of mankind. Dirty venue and dirty menus. Didn't even order after seeing the state of the surroundings and the unhelpful faces of the staff. I saw families being shouted at by management which is why we just walked out after waiting around so long too. No one should bother going to this place. Awful Awful Awful

Only one thing about this visit was the presentation on the food, basic health and safety standards were grossly neglected between 8 team members 2 were wearing hair nets, only 3 were wearing uniform, even the person seeming to be the manager was wearing normal clothes, brand standards are clearly slacked here. Plus cash only??? Really???

Our family is a big fan of the Creme's chain, having visited the Reading branch several times. Beware people visiting the Slough branch we will never be going back.. Sunday afternoon and the only customers in the place we ordered 4 deserts and 2 coffee's. The first desert took 17 minutes to arrive, then the coffee's at the 35 minute point, desert 2&3 at the 42 minutes point and desert 4 at the 55 minute point. Nothing like having everyone watch me eat because they are finished and waiting to go home. My desert when it finally arrived was supposed to be a Coffee Bean Sundae, no Cappuccino icecream or Dolce Late so Vanilla and Chocolate instead. No chocolate coffee beans either, so basically a chocolate sundae. When I asked about the I cream substitution I was told it was correct and I didn't know what it tasks like, and they have never put chocolate coffee beans.Add to that a very dirty table, menus and floors, Creme's should visit from head office, as this does nothing to promote their brand.If you want a pleasant friendly environment with great customer service then do yourselves a favour, drive 10 miles down the road to Reading whee we had an excellent experience. Been to one of their branch to take out my kids. my order was an hour late and also they messed it up...instead of an apology the staff got rude for no reason... on top they use gluten in their ice creams which is not very a healthy ingredient. i will rather recommend afters ....

Have been to Creams in Norbury so was expecting a heart filled desert evening. Well, we were disappointed. Although the waffle we ordered were good, they were really short on the sauce. These people could do with some extravagance. Its sauce after all!

Waffles were uncooked, the sauce on the banofee waffle tasted like medicine. Yes it is a big shop but it isn't cosy at all. It seems like a warehouse and it isnt clean ice cream was awful it tastes as though it had been melted and then frozen again. Do not recommend. To be honest i cant recommend any of the creams branches i've been to Uxbridge, southall, kingston they have all been poor.

Went here as we liked the look of it well that was it waited to be seated which was weird as we were sat at a table other people came in after us and we're about to be seated I then said excuse me we were waiting ages here first and the young man who thought he was something tried saying I was wrong that was sorted as we refused to let that happen fine, the dessert well overpriced and could do better myself we did complain about the server however like we imagined management didn't care. I went again just because I though give them another chance should have not done that was rudely served by the Co owner as he tried adding on more to my order and I said no I would like to change it then and the attitude was appalling if it wasn't for my friends ordered already I would have left have not been back since and urge people to not to go here disgusting appalling service

I wouldn't even rate this hell hole 1/10. Where do I start... Firstly the service is absolutely terrible, like other reviews there were unhelpful, childish staff behind the counter, some with what looked like unwashed cloths. There was no welcome, just handed a sticky dirty menu upon arrival. Reluctantly decided to stay and ordered 2 pancakes. After spotting the box of sweaty pancakes on the side, I asked if the pancakes were made fresh and the answer was yes. I paid and returned to my wobbly dirty table. After watching the staff member I saw the pancakes weren't made fresh and he was using his bare hands to warm up a pancake from the box - discusting. Upon delivery of the food, it was warm and stale. I can't describe how awful the food is in this place. Then to top it all off the manager appeared as a customer was shouting about how they had taken his money and not delivered or something along those lines. The manager simply looked at the man and stuck up his middle finger!! This place needs shutting down!! Do not go here.

Dirty tables, sticky floors and taps in the toilets and the food handlers appear less than hygienic with their practices. Scoops are cleaned in a bowl of discoloured water that looked like it had not been changed for hours. whilst choosing toppings etc you are made to feel dumb as if you are a nuisance and taking up their time. The restaurant may look good from the outside but add shoddy service and questionable hygiene practices, I would rather eat elsewhere.

This was my 5th visit to Creams. We went in a group of 6 and was easily seated and the café. Even though we got lost because it is quite hidden away. We looked at the menu for a while and then went up to the till to order. One of the members of our group asked for a nutella and strawberry crepe. The manager then said in a snappy voice "we don't have any strawberries" then we said ok and went back to our table to let my cousin know what happened. About 5 minutes later they came over and asked if he wanted any other toppings. He decided on chocolate sprinkles. We waited for quite a long time for our ice creams, cookie dough, crepe and waffle and then they came and served them at different times and when they came to serve the 'crepe' with no strawberries, it came as a waffle. So then we explained to the manager that served it that we asked for a crepe and she put her hand up at us and said 'okay' again in a horrible snappy sort of way and snatched the plate. We finally got all the right things and they were yummy but some of the staff have an attitude problem.

Just been to Creams and had a terrible experience - dirty table, dirty cups and cutlery, worst service we have ever had and terrible food. We would never go back and I would suggest you avoid too!

Visited here with my friend, we usually come to this one.. as we find the other branches local too us fairly small and crowded. Disgusted is the word!!! Upon arrival, we walk in to find no host at the door, a group of staff huddled behind the service area no doubt talking about their weekend plans! My friend then asks if we can sit anywhere.. to which one guy apparently called 'Samuel' tells her she can come sit on his work side if she likes.. 2 twenty year old girls.. some may find it funny.. coming for customer service and sale drive based jobs ourselves we find this extremely inappropriate! We sit ourselves down.. to which then they shout 'you need to get a menu from other there'.. Grab our menus and we order, my friend orders the white Belgium chocolate with strawberries as an extra topping.. all is fine, until some employee comes over and starts pressing buttons the screen to annoy the other one serving us.. get charged for coconut toppings ? We didn't order that ! I order milk chocolate Belgium crepe .. with m&m toppings .. 50p.. which is fine by me... anyway .. sit ourselves back down .. within 2 minutes it comes , makes us question if it had been sitting on the side from a previous customer .. luke warm .. 2 strawberries on the my friends waffle that she paid for .. explain ? 2 STRAWBERRIES ! mine comes out .. no m&ms ... we tell the lady 'yeh there coming' okay .. I wait ... nothing ... we complain and then he puts m&ms on ... my friend then said it wasn't very professional and he told her to SHUT UP .. After eating , we then ask if they have feedback forms to which we then get laughed at ... and apparently they don't have a phone number!!! Ask to speak to a manager .. and we get ignored !!?? WHAT A JOKE .. 20 years old or not .. we should not have been treated like this. AVOID

Ive been here 4 times now and i dont rate it. The food is okay but very slow. The staff are not very happy/polite. I went to the uxbridge creams - now that is AMAZING! uxbridge one brings food quick and hot. all staff are lovely. I suggest to everyone if you dont want to go to slough then go to uxbridge. Its like a different world altogether.

we went there on Sunday evening and ordered a banana split and an M&Ms waffle.The only positive aspect was the waffle which was worth the price.However the ice cream was anything apart from an ice cream. it was melting before getting to the table, had no taste and was expensive for what we received.Finally, we ordered both at the same time but got the waffle about 15minutes later - time for my friend to finish his ice cream. really not professional!!I do NOT recommend this Creams Café.

I'm ice cream lover and that place was recommended by my friend. Well firstly they are not well organized as I paid for the ice cream and then waited very long to receive it. Secondly they can't serve it properly I mean tastefully. Ice creams had inside bits of ice which means they were defrost and then frozen again . service was really poor and ice cream not good quality. It's better to buy good ice cream in a supermarket and have it at home than go to Creams Cafe or actually Ice Cream Parlour in Slough.

I am a huge fan of desserts, love Creams as I have been to Norbury one before. Tried out the Slough one as its close to work, was nice to see a big store but it always looks empty maybe because i come during lunch. Well the menu's we received were battered and the laminate falling off on the corners, that wasnt a good look. When we ordered that was fine however we went to get our ice cream and the scoops on a waffle cone I got was melting, didnt taste good either, this ruined the experience for me. Out of convenience we come here at times but others in town are better.

My partner and I went to the one in Windsor (they don't have their own page) on their second day of openingIt was the best food I think I've ever had!We had beautiful milkshakes, he had some sort of mint and protein shake and I have malteser and cookie dough gelato shake and oh my goodness the best milk shake I've ever tasted! We both got crepes with nearly all the toppings on and they were beautiful! We over estimated our selves and ordered a sundae for after but sadly had to cancel since we were nearly bursting!We had a very lovely waitress who was super kind and had a joke around with usOur food with all the toppings and large shakes only came to about £20 which is half of what I expected. Can't wait to go back and try more of their beautiful gelato!

Interesting experience... Great ice cream and deserts, but what a shame the service isn't better. Actually, there's not much service at all. I can just about put up with having to go to the counter to place my order (although I always find it odd to sit down then get straight back up again!), but it would be nice if the deserts were actually served to the individual rather than voicelessly dumped on the edge of the table... And thank you, too!A smile might've been nice - maybe they're all just fed up with ice cream.

Honestly I don’t know why I bothered going to this “café”. The service is slow and the majority of the staff I dealt with where rude and lazy, the counters and food preparation areas and messy, appear dirty and un kept. Even thou 4 members of staff where behind the counter one member of staff was left struggling with the customer in front of me as they had nothing in stock that she wanted. On asking for service from one of the other chatting employees I got a rude and disrespectful reply and was shrugged off to continue waiting. By the time I actually managed to order two coffees it took what felt like forever to actually get them, only to receive the wrong coffee anyway. This place is disorganised, grubby, overpriced and frustrating. I won’t be visiting again and would advise everyone to go elsewhere.

Why in the world would you have an ice cream parlour with no ice cream no milkshakes and no crapes? Why would you want a plain waffle with syrup because that's all they had availible today... This franchise should be taken off of then and given to somebody who want a fantastic business if it was run correctly.

I have NEVER been to somewhere like this before, did i really experience this or was it a Dream!!!!! The staff are appalling and the manager simply is just RUDE none of these members wanted to be there at all apart from one very nice young lady who has been their 2 weeks and she wont stay long because she was far to unmissable and wants to work! Was this a YOU'VE BEEN FRAMED MOMENT? according to the reviews NO i'm not the only one to have experienced problems. Milkshake took an hour to come to the table and when asked manager he said it was perfectly acceptable to take that long! whilst their, 3 other complaints! WOW when we had finished up and leaving the shop i whitness a staff member scrap the ice cream from a USED dessert back into the ice cream tubs at the front!!!!!!!!!!!NEEDLESS TO SAY I WONT BE RETURNING EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ate here with a friend on Sat and it was appalling. The ice cream had clearly defrosted and refrozen. The place was overrun with children literally running around the place running over chairs and screaming and not an eyelid was blinked at them by the staff. The older guy that took our order couldn't work the till and it took him 3 attempts to do it correctly. We ate what we could of the revolting offering and left. We wont be going back.

Been a very loyal customers to creams until today, saturday 13 sept. Tall Young girl who served us had an appaling attitude, lieing to our face, spoke back to us in a rude manner, told us to go elsewhere all whilst the manager was laughing in our faces. Gave our table aways and said that it was not there problem. Did I mention they told us to go elsewhere....

Always loved creams always been brilliant but me and 2 friends went in there we waited 20 minutes for a table looking around there were about 7 empty tables we ordered our food which then took 30 minutes to arrive what was supposed to be a mango smoothie turned out to be a banana smoothie I then sent it back and got my mango smoothie which then had a consistent flow of hairs in it we were also given dirty cutlery and napkins to eat our waffles with the tables were sticky and covered with food from a few previous tables there was a hair net on the floor and the staff are rude and unhygienic before been fairly good but this was an extreme off put

We went here as a treat for my son, as all my friends had raved about the ones in Kingston and Woking. Our car was being serviced nearby so it was convenient. As soon as I parked I wished I hadn't. There was ice cream and broken glass in the car park. We walked through the door and it got worse! The floors were disgustingly filthy, not just grime but piles of cake and ice cream. The menus were so bad you could barely read them, and the chairs and tables were sticky with leftover food on a lot of them. I went to the counter to order and sadly the food prep area wasn't much better. There was the remnants of chopped fruit discarded on the side, and the chopping board was filthy. I ordered 3 items and 2 waters. I was given the bottles of water. I asked for a glass or a straw. The manager told me I hadn't asked for a glass or straw, I had asked for bottles of water and I should have been more clear! Our ice creams came about 15 minutes later. No sign of the waffle. After another 15 minutes I asked where it was. They said there had been some confusion with the orders and they would make it now. I told them not to worry as the ice creams had been mostly eaten and I would get a refund instead. I queued for 10 minutes and gave my card and receipt for a refund. He gave me the refund in cash. I asks for it to be outback on my card as I had paid on my card. He said I hadn't told him that and I should have said that was what I wanted. He then told me I had come in with an attitude and he could see I didn't want to be there. I asked for the email address to make a complaint, he replied "get it off the website" He said that they were short staffed and I should understand that and cut them some slack!He was the rudest man I've ever encountered in a shop. I can't believe someone like him is employed in a customer facing role.There were 6 tables occupied, in the 50 minutes I was in there I saw them get the orders wrong for 3 of them, 4 people complain, and 2 of us get a refund and leave. A very disappointing end to a nice day.I won't be returning and I recommend that no one else wastes their money

I've been here twice now and quite frankly disappointed both times. The last time I was here, the staff managed to give our table away not once but twice while we were making our order at the counter. I told the waiter it wasn't acceptable and didn't really get as much as an apology out of him, instead a rather absent-minded look. The manager/owner would have plenty to reflect on if he read a few of these reviews. The main theme of course being the awful customer service. Personally, I think the issue lies in the young and very uninterested waiters/waitresses that are lacking the people skills that are required to deliver the experience that people expect at a place like this. My advice to the manager is to be more hands-on and watch what they're doing. Besides the service, I can't say their food 'wowed' me. For now then, my sugar cravings and money will be saved for Treatz :)

We visited the Creams Cafe in Slough for my daughters birthday yesterday evening. Having reserved a large booth due to numbers, we arrived and waited to be seated as the sign clearly displayed. Ten minutes passed and we still hadn't been greeted so we made our way to a booth, only to be quickly targeted by a vigilant waitress to inform us we couldn't sit there. After a little talk, we were seated in the booth, handed some menu's and told to order at the tills.We decided on what we wanted and approached the till to order. The attendant gave the impression that he simply didn't wait to be there. He took our order speedily without paying any attention to detail (which we found out later) and we were then advised that the credit card machine wasn't working. A small walk and a short while later the order was paid for and we waited patiently.The deserts came quickly, with the "Hot Waffles" arriving cold and a desert missing. By this point, we were pretty fed up. We politely barked to said attendant and the missing desert arrived.We hurriedly ate and left feeling that we had just experienced a very expensive "we don't care".The atmosphere was funeral like, perhaps with a little Piccadilly Circus mixed in for good measure. There were four or so screens repeatedly showing adverts for their deserts but no music, and the lighting was dim. If the combination was used correctly it could've been great but quite simply it was far from it.I expect this outlet to close down as the other reviews echo over and over the consistent problems with this outlet. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Please take your money elsewhere for a source of happiness.

Visited creams as it had been recommended by a friend however was very disappointed from the moment I entered to the moment I left. Waited several minutes for a table, sat down decided what to order went and queued for 25 minutes to order to return to my table to find someone else sitting there. My milkshake arrived after a very long wait with parts of the wrapper mixed into it. Overall very disappointed and will not be returning.

Hi,Having now checked out Treatz in Reading I can say that what Creams lacks in service, Treatz makes up for in spades.... you would be mistaken thinking they are part of the same chain - similar decor / desserts - but they are not, very different owners apparently...could be friends / family that have fallen out and gone to war over dessert parlours....if so then I would strongly recommend you back Treatz in this contest as their service was fantastic by comparison.Also check out the Jammy Dodger ice cream they have on offer...didn't see this at Creams and is really really good. nom nom nom

I went at about 9pm on a Sunday and it was really busy but was quiet didt really wait for a table was then made our order I had waffle and my other half had ice cream the price was same sort of price as any restaurant dessert really only downfall would be that the waffle and ice cream didt come out together but not a major issue food was lovely and would defo go again

Creams is THE worst ice cream cafe I have ever been to,waiters are awful/miserable not friendly. Most of the waiter's can't speak English. My final verdict is don't ever come here.! You will regret it

Cannot say much that hasn't been said really. Go here for the decent desserts (and wide range of choice), not for the service or atmosphere. Very strange and chaotic ordering system, many staff also seem to walk around aimlessly, and the place is surprisingly dark and uninviting. But once seated with your choice of desserts all is quickly forgotten. I would say good place for casual desserts or drinks, but wouldn't trust it for special occasions.

I was really unhappy with the customer service i received in this place. When i was making the order, the guy got nearly everything wrong and then shouted "man! I cant do that anymore" and left. At least there was a nice woman who took over. Ok so we've made the order, waited about 30 mins and we went back to the tills to ask them what happened to our food. It turned out that it went to the wrong table (we've heard other customers complaining about not getting the food they ordered so I assume they received ours). We spoke with the manager and he wanted to take our copy of the receipt and when my husband refused in case they'd lose it again he shouted "i'm the manager here and when i say we won't lose it, we won't". Anyway, we finally got the food which was missing ice cream which was paid for. I went back and i wanted to complain about this guy who took our order, got everything confused and was rude because he just left but the manager kept interrupting me, not allowing me to finish. He eventually said that he will talk to him but i assume he didn't cos nearly all of them looked like family. In conclusion, it's a horrible, dark place and i don't recommend going there unless you want to leave feeling worthless. I've worked in a shop when i was a teenager and i never talked to customers in that way and i've never heard a manager being so rude as him. I sincerely hope they will go out of business.

I've been here a few times with friends as I like the food and it's the nearest branch to where we live or visit. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the service here is pretty poor. Countless number of times I've had to argue at the till when asking for a banana and Nutella waffle and they insisting I have the banoffee waffle which is a set item (despite being able to create your own toppings). It all just seems a massive effort to explain but eventually you get to order what you want. Customer service really isn't their strong point.I've never been disappointed by the food. I will admit the standard vanilla icecream that comes with the waffles is poor quality - think mr whippy - but the waffles are a good size and always taste nice. I've had a sundae before but it's just too much icecream for me! I think this branch is much quieter than some of the other franchises - at least when I've been.The place can be untidy and it's odd that they sell industrial sized packs of protein shake but all in all I have a good time when I come here as long as you except that the service is going to be poor.

This has to be the worst place I have ever reviewed on tripadviser. We came here as a special treat for my sons birthday and my wife phoned THREE TIMES before we went to ensure a big booth and a special candle with happy birthday would be presented to him. When we arrived, no record of our name and the pathetic plate he was presented by a waiter who quite simply had not got a clue and could not speak English was a joke. No candle, no apology and the plate was just dumped on the table not even presented to my son! The management really need to take note of these reviews or they are totally idiotic. I cannot describe how rude and arrogant the staff are here. The toilets stank, there were floods of water everywhere and this place is damn right dangerous to enter unless you want to catch something nasty. The place totally lacked atmosphere and the lighting was appalling. The menus were filthy and sticky. The amount of spray cream was ridiculous. If you want a plate mostly covered in spray cream order the chocoholic sundae. We think this place is a great idea but poorly executed. I really hope the idea is ripped off by another chain who can deliver on the promise. DO NOT GO HERE.

Appalled and disgusted with the Slough branch. Please avoid at all costs. Myself and a group of friends visited on Sunday 6th July 2014. my first friend ordered his food and went back to the table. I made my order along with the remaining 2 people in my group. 2 banoffee waffles with ice cream and a chocoholic waffle with crunchy peanut butter and Ferraro rosher ice cream. by the time we got back to the table my friend who ordered first had his food. Me and the rest of the table then waited over 30 mins for ours. Finally the 2 banoffee waffles came, no apology for how long it had taken. I was still waiting patiently for mine. After a further 15 mins had passed I was starting to wonder if my food was even on it way! 2 people on my table went up an asked where it was, the staff member claimed we had everything that we had ordered, my friend showed him the receipt for the order and pointed out we were still waiting for the chocoholic waffle. They had completely forgotten my order, they took my receipt so they could then make the order, I waited or a further 10 mins and still nothing had come I was starting to get annoyed, people all around me at other tables where receiving their food and we had arrived long before them, also the other people I was eating with had already finished eating theirs. after around another 10 minutes my food finally came. When the waiter put the food down in front of me there was no apology. Also I was further shocked to find out he had my order wrong there was no ice cream or peanut butter! I couldn't believe it. I told him it was wrong and he without apologising he started to walk away without saying anything. I asked to speak to the manager to make a complaint! we I spoke to the manager, I told him everything that had happened, he took on aggressive and defensive body language and kept interrupting me, while I was trying to explain what had happened! Not once did he not apologise or show any kind sincerity, he was incredibly hostile and insisted that I was wrong. I was so angry with the way he dealt with this, he even said to me that didn't see what the problem is as my food was ready, to which I had to point out it was not even what I ordered and I had been waiting almost a hour for, and he still could see why I was upset. I asked for a refund on my order and he quite flatly refused and said they do not issue refunds to which I said was shocking, I asked him how he would feel if this had happened to him if he was out dining with his friends or family and he changed the subject and continue to argue that my "food is ready" and "what's the problem". He also mentioned that these things can happen when they are busy. The place wasn't even half full I dread to think how they operate when they have a full house. I work in retail myself and take pride in giving exceptional customer service, two of the people I was eating with also work in restaurant/dining environments and have for years and could not believe, how he was talking to me or dealing with my problems I understand thing can sometimes go wrong, but protecting your business reputation and providing good customer service should be a paramount practice. Eventually he refunded my food order, incorrectly I might also add, so I was £1.50 short but at this point I had had enough, and just wanted to leave. My friends and I left all shocked and quite frankly absolutely disgusted with our experience. I will not return to this branch and recommend other to steer wellClear! It makes me sad to learn that others have had similar experiences here considering I have heard great things about other locations of Creams. why is this branch allowed to treat there customers like this and operate in this way, Surely they are damaging the business name.

Firstly some of the issue here is down to their popularity - they're too busy and the staff are too overwhelmed to cope.The problem is compounded because the manager really doesn't care and neither do any of the waiters. Some comments about the quality of the food can be overlooked, I've never had a bad icecream there but that's all I've ever eaten - heard horror stories about the waffles.So anyway after an appalling experience at Slough, wrote to complain on the website - got nothing back - complained a further 3 times only to be completely ignored. Started posting on the creams facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/#!/cafecreams?fref=ts) only to have comments removed and blocked from posting. If you look at the reviews, some are over a year old and the story is consistent... service is awful.Personally I'd rather spend my money in an establishment that actually cares about their customers, if they don't care about service - who knows if they're care about quality and food hygeine.I'd just say avoid, there's plenty of other places in Slough.. Treatz might be worth a go instead.
