CREAM in Hackney

I recently visited this café and was impressed by the exquisite coffee they offer. The baristas excel in their craft, serving delicious brews. Moreover, the customer service was exceptional—friendly and accommodating. I'm particularly grateful for their generosity in lending me headphones, which proved invaluable for a work meeting. Thank you for the wonderful experience and the extra help!

The place is just in the process of hanging names (I believe the new name is Vision). Good coffee (I’d give it 4/5 stars), excellent food - particularly like the toasted banana bread and avo toast - and never overcrowded!

Nice huge space. Great for groups and kids. Free WiFi and plug points for those who want to get some work done. Food is bloody delicious! We got: 1. Thyme mushroom, poached egg on toast, sprinkled cheese £9 2. Baja fish bun, coriander, lime sauce £10 3. Latte £3 4. Americano £3 5. Freshly squeezed Oj £4 Expected Shoreditch prices. Wait time is around 10-15min. Its an open kitchen and you can see the chef working his magic on the spot. Impressive tiny little kitchen.

The placed greeted me with Frank Sinatra's voice in the loudspeakers. Nice. The americano I took was ok-ish, it needed a bit more flavour punch. The place itself looks great though, "minimarustic", luminous, and the brunches looked very tempting. Good place to catch up with friends and snack some healthy options

Excellent coffee and food. Friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff. Communal tables, smaller tables and an eating counter. Free WiFi. Menu changes frequently. Vegetarian and vegan options on offer. Busy at lunch times, come early or hang tight for a seat. The whole front opens up in nice weather and you can feel like you're outside and people watch. Bench outside available to take your coffee as well.

Again, NO LAPTOP ON WEEKEND! It's alright you can have any policy you want, but how can we customers know that before we decide to go inside? No reminder from the staff or at the counter when I ordered. Apparently I'm not the first one who complained about this, but anyway, people who need to use laptops usually contribute fewer money per time unit. Latte is ok, a bit watery though. Lots of other options around.

Very rude! According to Londonist one of the top laptop-friendly places in London, but I was told off for getting out my laptop on a Sunday. OK. A few minutes later, I was asked whether I can move away from the table to sit at a single place at the wall. I ordered no food, just a cappuccino, so I figured I didn't deserve a seat at a table. I told the staff member I'm leaving anyway. Unacceptable, never again.

Pretentious place, average coffees and 'no laptops on weekends' policy

Amazing sourdough open sandwiches! The one with smoked salmon and scrambled egg is particularly recommended. But the service was toooo slow.

Accidentally ordered a £9 sandwich (no prices visible anywhere) and was not warned the cafe would close 30 mins after I arrived.

I'm always a big fan of Cream, where the menu changes weekly but the lovely staff and chefs always serve up interesting combinations with high quality ingredients and a flare for good flavour combinations. Whether looking for brunch or a light lunch this is a great spot to spend some time over good coffee. There's also free WiFi if you want it. In the evenings it closes to host a variety of private events in both the cafe and the next door event space.

Good environment for working on a laptop, holding interviews for creative roles. Environment is industrial and modern, they also serve fresh food!

Great spot for a casual coffee meeting. The food is actually quite decent, though the menu is somewhat limited, and they’ve usually got a decent winter soup on. Coffee is decent, staff are relatively friendly, and they’ve got fresh juice options - you can design your own or pick from suggested vege/fruit combos. Good number of power outlets for laptop work as well.

Really awful service. Books and iPads ok, but don’t open a laptop as they have rules? Also don’t order avocado additional to your dish even if you want to pay more, they don’t do that either. Totally bizarre, won’t be back. So many other options close by.

No hagas caso a las manivelas que se quejan de los perros o el servicio. El último problema es la comida, o por qué más se puede ir a una cafetería? Uno esencial para el desayuno es café, lo cual no puede darse por sentado en Londres. Café aquí es más que decente. Bonito zumos recién exprimidos. Tanto mis hijas fuimos para el zanahoria, naranja, jengibre, limón mezclas. Los desayunos son saludables y muy bueno. En días laborables cuando no están presionados puede relajarse y trabajar en sus equipos. (El café no es una caridad así ninguna razón por la que debería estar contento de tener gente park durante horas cuando necesitan el espacio. Un menú limitado para el desayuno, pero opciones interesantes y sabrosos.

Been here a few times after a class at FRAME (next door fitness studio) and it's just so pretty and good. They tend to change their menu quite regularly I believe as they have different options every-time I go - but it's consistently good.

Salimos nuestros teléfonos y crema estaba a la vuelta de la esquina. . . mesa fabulosa podíamos sentarnos alrededor, en un ambiente muy moderno. . . estiloso, el personal era servicial y simpático. Agua del grifo gratis! Fabuloso, si tienes una resaca jajaja. Increíbles opciones de comida. . . que sabía tan bien como parecían, no tengo ninguna queja de ninguno de los 9 de nosotros! Cream has hands down the BEST coffee in Shoreditch. The staff are awesome, the ambience is always bang on and the food is delicious. I love it so much I basically live there. Come say hi to me!

Airy, lots of light, comfy seats, free wi-fi, friendly staff, plants, good enough coffee. Croissant isn't good but a favourite place to sit and drink coffee in London.

This place is okay. The coffee is typically over cooked, and the music usually a few notches too loud. The crowd is hip, and the large open front allows for good people watching. Don't bring your laptop in weekends, b cause apparently they have a now work policy on weekends. Cute, but annoying in my opinion. The prices are typical of London.

Cool looking place. Food was tasty and nicely presented. I went for the poached eggs and asparagus on toast. Solid. Cappuccino sound too. Nice swirls on it and that. Can't go wrong here to be honest. Nice swan Cream.

Coffee was strangely bitter, the service wasn't good either. waited too long for the tiniest portion I ever saw in my life. Spend about 30-40 pounds and left hungry. Quality doesn't match the price. Avoid this! so much better places in shoreditch!

Fuimos para un rápido almuerzo, pero tuvimos que esperar más de 15'. Cuando la camarera para que entráramos, vio, pero fui por primera vez a servir a otros clientes antes de asistir a nosotros. Y sólo cuando pedimos nuestra orden nuevo no anout que empezar a hacer. Pedimos una llevar ya que no teníamos tiempo para terminar el almuerzo antes de clase y nos pidieron para pagar de inmediato a pesar de que no he terminado de empacar nuestro almuerzo todavía. Todo el personal era muy frío y antipático.

Trendy buy pricy, nice food although may not full you up

Cream was recommended to me for their coffee, but I thought it wasn't great. I much prefer Ozone which is just down the road. The menu was quite limited and the dishes were uninspired.

Went twice - coffee was too bitter, like the machine wasn't washed properly and I didn't like at all the croissant and got bad service too - waiting ages for a simple cappuccino and pastry. It is hip indeed, but I found it very pricey without quality. And the sitting area is uncomfortable!

I had been wanting to go to this place for a long time based on its delicious photos on instagram. What a waste of time. We were only in London for a while so we trekked down there just for brunch.There seemed to be one waitress for the whole place serving and taking orders and another guy behind the counter. First of all I asked for decaf coffee and they didn't have. Its a breakfast place for breakfast and brunch. How can you not serve decaf? Then I asked for brown toast for my eggs. Answer was no in a very stoic, robotic tone, like just a sort of - couldn't care less - no. The menu was very limited and not as interesting at all as i thought. At some point my husband was trying to eat a sandwich he had ordered and all the stuffing was out of the sandwich so he needed a knife to shove it back in, no one of course was around to ask for anything (and even if she was you felt like you were on a time limit and had to be super quick or she would walk away again) so I got up and asked the guy behind the counter for one. Even though he was RIGHT THERE where cutlery was he turned around to me and said to ask someone else who was standing RIGHT NEXT TO HIM. Well she was ignoring me too so i just grabbed a straw for my husbands sandwich. The scrambled eggs were tasty but nothing was worth this terrible service and to feel anxiety whilst trying to enjoy breakfast and a chilled coffee. Only Caf!

Nice vegan salads, beautiful good made our of raw ingredients on the spot, juices are superb. Chairs could be a bit more comfy and staff sometimes look to stressed.

Ate really good carrotsoup that was non-dairy and had a latte with almond milk. Good service, and place to charge my phone :)The only thing that was a bit irritating was the volume of the backgroundmusic, it's a bit to loud especially if you want to listen to something else in a headset or so ^^

Food is quite overpriced but the banana cake I had was scrumptious, also music was hella loud..I don't usually mind but the same song was repeated three times in a row hella loud

Das Cream ist ein nettes kleines Café mit leckeren, sehr schön zubereiteten Kaffeevariationen. Außerdem gibt es hier eine Reihe von hippen Limonaden, wobei die "Karma Kola" vom Geschmack nicht ganz meinen Nerv getroffen hat. Als Snack hatte ich ein herzhaftes Croissant mit Salat, Pute und Käse. Sehr lecker und frisch. Zum Dessert gab es ein Stück Torte, das mir aber zu schwer im Magen lag. Bin kein Fan von Buttercreme. Es gibt genügend Sitzplätze, rechts an der Wand sind sogar Stromanschlüsse für Laptops. Perfekt also für das mobile Büro. Ich werde wiederkommen, wenn ich noch mal in dieser Ecke von London bin.

I been here only one on weekend. Nothing exciting its just a small area for party and 50-100 people can accommodate here. Nearby view is not good.

Took away their latte and the coffee was really strong, just the way I like it. The cafe's interior was really minimalistic and it felt more spacious than it was.

Really nice fairly new-wave vibe about this place. The food was much better than I expected it to be, the chef keeps it simple but good quality ingredients and thoughtfully done. I really like the place.

I popped into here on a Saturday for brunch with friends whilst they were visiting me in London. We went soon after they had opened so we had no issue finding a table and loved the way that the restaurant has such an open airy feel to it! The menu doesn't have too many choices for brunch but what is on offer is excellent. I had scrambled eggs with salmon which my friend and I agreed were the best eggs we'd had by far and were a very generous portion! My other friend had a duck egg and pancetta hash (I was staring at it with envy for most of the meal!) which she said was incredible. The coffees were good - nice to see somewhere with long black on the menu! Really good price for central London and can't wait to visit again! :)

Popped in whilst in the area and had one of the best coffees I have had in a long time! Staff were also super friendly and the decor is very cool! Just wish it was closer to home!

Small but yummy menu. Good portions and casual great ambience. Had the smoked trout with beetroot and feta that was surprisingly tasty. My friend had smoked salmon on eggs and toast which was a generous portion.

On the coffee map of London - it is good coffee but very strong and bold in flavor - if you like that then this is a good place to try.

Was lured in by the plants in the window, cool lights and trendy music coming through the open door. I was not disappointed. The latte art on the coffee was exceptional and with a taste to match. The French toast was smothered with fresh berries and a very generous amount of cream fresh. A great experience with very friendly staff. Will be back for sure!
