Visited The Crealock a number of times recently. Without exception, food has been great every time. Good variety on the menu, and a variety of specials every day. Sunday roast very good too, booking pretty much essential on Sunday. Going again tonight, looking forward to it already

Went to the Crealock as a spur of the moment thing for lunch today, and we’re not disappointed. The menu was excellent and were warmly greeted upon entering. There were several tables reserved which suggests many people returning because the foods good. Had a pint of cider, and we both had scampi and chips which I have to say was lovely, and plenty of it. The sweets were to die for, with uncle toms ice cream. We hadn’t been to the crealock for several years, but based on what we had today that was a big mistake, our food and service were both excellent…We will be back, Thank you.

My wife and I have dined here on several occasions and have never been disappointed! We arrived early for our phone booking and despite being busy this was no problem. Service was quick and very pleasant. The food order was taken and arrived reasonably quickly and all four dishes were very much enjoyed. Clearly fresh ingredients with the Lamb Loin Chops, Duck, Fishcakes and scampi being nicely cooked, moist and succulent. Good portions too. Sweets were shared and were much enjoyed. All in all a very good experience.

Hoping to find a country pub, with views and great food. The Crealock Arms didn’t disappoint!! Ample parking, beautiful countryside views, a large beer garden in the sun, friendly and welcoming staff, good variety of food on the menu, fresh and substantial portion sizes, very efficient and helpful staff, very clean toilets, tables and bar. Well done to you all !!!! My only recommendation would be to update the decor but this in no way impacted the quality of food or service.

We arrived here on a very hot day, there were 4 of us plus 3 little dogs.We initially sat on the under-cover terrace which had some benches because it was so hot and we noticed that dogs were not allowed in the I side. Sadly there weren't any tables in this covered area which is a shame and it felt a little odd to be sat on display at the front of the pub.We bought some drinks (including some gluten free beer for me - yay!). And the landlady kindly found a drinking bowl for the dogs and filled it with cold water. We decided that the food smelled so good that we would stay for a big lunch. It was getting a bit close to the kitchen closing time, but we just made it! They were very helpful with my Coeliac GF requirements. We sat in the beer garden (under the partial cover of a parasol) for our food.Food and drink was superb and we really enjoyed our stay. We'll be back when we're next in Devon!

We booked a table via email 2 days prior- but no one knew about our reservation when we arrived, they checked and found it then. I chose a special, Seabass with shrimp in a sweet chilli sauce. The fish was overcooked and quite crisp at the edges, the potato was good and the mixed vegetables ok, but at £17.75 it felt overpriced for the standard of cooking. Two others in our group had the pies which they enjoyed. Vegetables were a choice of new potatoes and vegetables or chips and peas. One person asked if she could have the vegetables instead of peas and was told no very abruptly, along with the suggestion that perhaps one of us would share our veg instead. I had heard good reports of this pub and although it was very attractive the food and service were too mediocre

Great meal here, especially the blackboard specials. Only one thing lets the Crealock down is the owner's refusal to mix and match. By this I mean, you can have chips & peas or potatoes and veg. If you want to have chips and veg, which I think is the best format, you have to pay extra.

Narrow roads! Coming from Abbotsham the road to Littleham is narrow and large lorry's seem to use it so take care, the return journey we went the other way where there is a much shorter narrow road,It was well worth the trip, Had a sharing starter which was 'Asian' based spicy Combo and was very good. The main course was wonderful as well with real home made pie and chicken. Will certainly visit again

On arrival to our BB we needed food. Sue our host booked the last table on a Monday night. Location was next to fields of corn and great views. We ordered our drinks and headed towards our table. When the host was taking our orders she apologised that they were running late as another large table had arrived late, so I added cheekily added a couple of bags of munchies, on the house they said, SUPERB. But so was the food when it came. Well worth the wait a big thanks to the staff and Sue our BB host.

Whilst holidaying in North Devon, met some friends who live down here and recommended this pub. Lovely ambience, great service and wonderful food. Would definitely recommend this pub

Called in to this fine establishment on 26/7/16 for a light lunch. Finished up with liver casserole, excellent tender liver super veg and a really great pint of local ale. So impressed we booked in for Sunday lunch. Well worth the journey along some tricky narrow lanes, plenty of room to pass though.

We enjoyed a lovely evening meal here. The staff are really friendly and the food and beer is really good. There are plenty of tables, we didn't need to book but I understand the Sunday roasts are excellent and you would probably need to book for this. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are very generous. There is plenty of parking places. Would definitely go here again.

A small family run pub with good food and atmosphere. Sometimes the pub hosts events. The pub is through narrow country lanes which is well worth the effort. Nice garden for children or, dogs.

We are in the area on holiday for a week. Did a last minute web search for a place to eat for the evening and the Crealock came up. We got there at 8.45pm not expecting food to be served. We were met by a friendly welcome, a good menu and great food at a good price, and a good pint... a nice surprise.

Visited this lovely pub the other day with my family as we are staying the the lovely village of Littleham. It was lovely and very welcoming. The staff were very nice the food was really nice and it was juts a very nice little pub. The only problem is that it's not very well sign posted there's a sign saying crealock arms at the end of this road but looking down the road you can't tell it's there you have to go down to actually find it. But once you do find it, it is lovely.

Food was excellent great atmosphere and far too much for us to finish but I tried. My youngest said it’s the best meal she’s ever had ( better not tell the wife).

Excellent fish and chips. Plus, a pint in the pub across the lane while you wait for your order. Pub belongs to the same people. Eat food in the bar. All decorated for Halloween.

A couple of years ago we discovered Blackwell's Pasties and their amazing Big Berthas. This year we took a bit of a detour on our trip to Cornwall so we could buy another Big Bertha because they are just too good to miss.

Had an amazing lunch with friends yesterday, food and service were splendid 👌, particularly enjoyed the mussels, and the smoked haddock risotto was stunningly good. Server Mickie was attentive and entertaining, thank you 😊. View is wonderful , now firmly on our go to list. Excellent
