Visted Creakey Cafe at Creake Abbey for lunch. Had a delicious tuna mayo sandwich with generous filling served by very friendly staff, in stunning surroundings. How lovely to be able to shop, look at art by local artists, whilst in the comfort of the cafe. Will definitely be back.

I called in here for breakfast. Lovely and clean and staff helpful and friendly I ordered scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. The eggs weren’t cooked properly and had large bits of gloopy white in and also egg shell. The salmon was ok but tough. I won’t be going back and don’t recommend

Perched outside with a coffee, seemed a bit expensive and in disposable cups though I appreciate this is probably because of the 'current situation' .Lots of lovely looking cakes on offer but we were in a savoury mood alas. Lovely weather and very pleasant half an hour spent just relaxing

Called in for coffee and croissants to get the day started which were good, warm served with home made jam and the tastiest butter. Had hoped for scrambled egg and smoked salmon but alas not on menu, maybe next time! Very good range of local and world foods in adjoining food shop.

We had a late lunch here and it was good. Drinks order taken first, shortly afterwards food order taken. It was fairly quiet and several tables also coming to the end of their meals, not sure if service would be as quick if busier, but we only waited about 10 minutes before food arrived. Husband had a burger and I had a prawn sandwich. Both were very good and served with coleslaw...chips with the burger, small salad with the sandwich. I had fresh lemonade, Hubbie a coffee. Couldn’t fault anything. The cafe is light and airy....feels pleasant.

We went to the Creakey Cafe for breakfast. And the full English was lovely. Good food and freshly cooked. The scones and croissants were also excellent. I would certainly go there again and happy to recommend it

Just popped in here for a quick bite .... even though we only live down the road my husband had never been !! Tea, a coffee and two warm fruit scones £10.20 .... the scones were amazing , warm and huge!! Surroundings are clean tidy and quite interesting with the Abby ruins next door , we purchased a couple of chorizo scotch eggs from the farm shop before leaving which my husband and son said were delicious 👍 worth a visit but be aware of the speed ramps my car did scrape on a couple of them even though I was only creeping over them 😩

We stopped for a drink on an incredibly hot day. The food looked lovely and we have eaten here before. Lovely cakes and salads.

Having lunch in the sun. A very enjoyable time having the cheese platter with earl grey tea a pot for two which you were able to take out the tea leaves out so the whole pot can be drunk and not stewed and 4 cups of tea our of one pot.

Looks ok, but pricey and does not allow dogs in, not great if freezing outside, strange as dogs allowed in clothes shop attached to cafe, even sell dog treats. Think this cafe is missing a trick by not allowing dogs in.

I love the weekends and no better start than to have breakfast here. I always have the full breakfast it is lovely and the black pudding is just gorgeous. Ian often has poached eggs on toast with a couple of their sausages on the side. Get there early on farmers markets weeks the first Saturday of each month open daily its a must breakfast but also fabulous at lunch and for themed evening meals too. I love it

Always come here for gossipy lunch with girlfriends, its buzzy and spacious and nice outside setting for summer.A few times have had really good food, but sometimes things like the salad can be a little unsophisticated and ordinary. Staff friendly and shop wonderful to buy amazing meat and deli for supper on way out. Also array of small shops interesting.

Despite having lots of bowls of water around this place is not very dog friendly as there is nowhere to park your car in the shade and only two tables that are shaded. Not a major consideration for most people, but so many people on holiday do have a dog with them so please look at this. More annoying was to get there at almost exactly 2.30pm and be told that the man in front was positively the last lunch order they were taking. No "Sorry" and no suggestion of anything else they might do for me. So I left. Place looks nice, sure it will do well. But not from me

Lo visitamos en un día con viento soleado. El patio es un pequeño lugar para tomar el sol. Teníamos el café más agradable ... realmente no quieren irse. Las tortas caseras parece delicioso.

A bit of the beaten track, the Creakey Cafe is worth a visit for lunch if you're in the Fakenham area. Breakfast and lunch options are on a blackboard and everything seems to be freshly prepared. Our smoked cheese tart and fish cakes, both with salad, potato salad and coleslaw, were tasty and good value at just £6. But there's no wine available and water is from the tap only.

We came in for Lunch today and want to start off by saying that the location is idyllic, the food is delicious and most of the staff are wonderful. However, our meal was completely bulldozed by one member of staff (don’t know her name, elderly, black hair, heavy makeup). Not only would she not leave us alone for the duration of our meal which was very off putting, she proceeded to try to force feed me mushy peas using a dirty spoon off of the floor. At the end of our meal we were sitting and enjoying our drinks when she then took them from our table, we were considering getting coffees but felt very pressured to leave after such disastrous service. We are honestly embarrassed for you at No 1, that kind of behaviour was not very becoming at all…. What would have been the perfect meal out ended up being a complete nightmare.

Stayed for one night, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean , light and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. Breakfast was very good with an excellent choice of freshly cooked food, cereals, pastries and fruit. Will definitely return and would certainly recommend staying here

Sadly the food didn’t match the lovely welcoming service. Sunday lunch was expensive - £20 for a trio of roasts. The veg was odd - leeks and carrot with some very hard brocolli. Overcooked roast potatoes and parsnips. Potential to be a nice Sunday lunch but needs a fair bit of work. £20 is a lot for a toast but this place really cannot justify the price, sorry 😔

Over priced! £11.95 for toasted sandwich that came with small side salad, small pot shop bought coleslaw and handful chips. Had bacon and brie filling with so much cranberry it tasted more like jam sandwich. With a coffee each bill came to £33. Most costly lunch I've had for ages. Won't be rushing back.

Down in Worstead on wee business trip, asked about possibility of lunch nearby and were directed to the White Lady. It was around 14:30 on a Sunday afternoon so expectations weren't too high (would have settled for a sandwich...). Friendly welcome, assured food would be no problem and we're given 3 menus! We're invited to sit anywhere we chose so opted for window seat in dining area to rear. We both opted for Sunday roast topside. Absolutely fantastic. Beef cooked to perfection, awesome roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud, came with glazed chantenay carrots, buttered green beans and zingy red cabbage, jug of lush gravy and topped of with dish of unctuous Cauliflower and cheese (each by the way). Thinking about making the 3 hour drive again just to have that experience again.
