Court Farm Inn in Teignbridge

Just had the best meal out that I had in ages at court farm. I had the roasted mackerel, New potatoes and salad followed by the white chocolate and brioche bread and butter pudding. I highly recommend court farm. We will be back!

This lovely pub has it all , fabulous food excellent hosts and staff and always a friendly welcome. Very dog friendly in the bar and always treats for them offered. The lunchtime menu is a real winner for us, all the favourites in lunchtime portions for under £10! This pub is special, happy days!

Best Sunday lunch out we have had! Yesterday, I visited the court farm inn with my family, there were 10 of us including children and all of us had a really lovely lunch. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly, happy staff who were really accommodating throughout the whole meal. Not one of us had a single complaint to make (very unusual) and everyone really enjoyed their meals. I would say this was the best pie I have ever had and the roast potatoes were to die for. Service and food 5 stars! Thank you for a lovely Sunday lunch! We will definitely be returning!!

The staff were simply fantastic, the food was gorgeous and I had one of the best Thai curries I have ever eaten! Is this Devon’s best kept secret? Absolutely fantastic dining experience, Excellent prices ,Excellent quality and the perfect hosts , If you’re in the area stop and try it really is a welcoming pub and i would definitely recommend.

Stopped in for lunch, food was fantastic, shepherd's pie and liver and onion, sticky toffee pudding just the best, staff and locals so friendly also very dog friendly, for the price (very reasonable) it was brilliant 👏 😀 👌 well done all involved.

Arrived around 16:00 so didn't try the food, however there is a good range of drinks and decent cider. Locals are friendly, as are the staff. Good atmosphere, very clean, good parking.

This was the third pub we called at on our way home from a long day out with 2 young children. The lady I initially met was lovely, happy to squeeze us in, very accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious and the service from every member of staff was fantastic. Genuinely lovely, helpful people with great food. 100% recommend and we will absolutely visit again if we are in the area.

Court Farm Inn was so lovely, friendly and welcoming. All the staff were just amazing and they even remembered our drinks order after we had brought the 1st round. Karen and Dave were super welcoming and helpful too. We came for my Great Uncle’s wake and we couldn’t have felt more at home and relaxed. Your pub is just so beautiful and we couldn’t recommend it more! The food you did for the wake was so tasty and so varied, everything was delicious

This is an amazing Inn. Beautiful setting, nestled in the village close to thatched cottages and the unusual Church whose tower can be seen from the Inn car park. The service is excellent, very attentive team and very friendly. However it is the food here that is worth far more than the maximum 5 stars you are allowed to award. We have been twice so far, home made steak and ale pie first time, packed with delicious chunks of tender steak and this time I had home cooked ham salad, fantastic! We’ve booked again for Sunday Lunch, I suspect we are about to be wowed all over again!! Anyone staying at Dornafield Caravan and Motorhome park, this is a must visit if you are a foodie like us!

Hands down the best roast dinner I've ever eaten in a pub. Prices are more than reasonable. The service is excellent and the building is beautiful and impeccably clean. I can't recommend Court Farm Inn highly enough.

The grilled mackerel was absolutely fantastic but what made the meal was the service from Bella and Tracy.

Had a wonderful meal last night. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Excellent food and nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend. Five stars.

Sunday lunch at this lovely village pub was the best we’ve had by a country mile. The service, quality and quantity of food was amazing and lashings of the best gravy in your own personal gravy boat. Couldn’t fault it….great value too. Highly recommend 👏👏👏👏

We had another lovely meal here and this time I had the Crab Bisque which was delicious and exceptional. I can compare it to the one I have at the Seafood restaurant in Padstow! I hope they have this one on regularly as I will definitely have it again..

We had Sunday roast here and it was delicious. We had the turkey and beef which were both cooked to perfection, and it was very well presented with plenty of veg. The staff were extremely nice and the atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed. We would absolutely recommend The Court Farm Inn 💯 and we will definitely be going there again soon. Thankyou to you all. x

Friendly and attentive service. Proper good pub grub. Good value.

As ever, walking into the Inn it felt warm & welcoming & put us at ease. We chose the Beef Sunday roast, which turned out to be more of a feast.. All of which was beautifully cooked, presented & plenty of it. Friendly & efficient service in lovely surroundings at a very reasonable price, we couldn't have asked for more. The only downside, we didn't have room for dessert. Pps: Try their Mon - Thursday lunchtime specials (Currently 07/24 from under £10)

Myself, my husband and my son came here on 11/07/2024 and had a fantastic meal. We had oxtail croquettes and pork belly bites to start then venison, mussels and t bone steak for mains. So delicious! The staff were also fantastic, very welcoming and saw to our every need. We will definitely be back!

Amazing. I’d give it an extra star if I could. We actually ended up here by chance. We’d booked a table elsewhere but the M5 was closed due to an accident so we ended up picking somewhere else at random at the last minute. And talk about a lucky find! I used to be a quality auditor so I really tend to notice little faults - meaning that I don’t often write reviews unless places are really good because I think I’ll be unfairly harsh. But everything was right at this place. The place was lovely, the staff were great and the food was really excellent in every detail. If I lived nearby I’d become a regular but as I’m normally 4 hours away, it’ll have to be a treat when I’m in the area.

Well worth a visit from the warm welcome to excellent real ales and food with wine for dinner.

We had a lovely evening here for my birthday with family, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially with our baby which isn’t always the case when going out for food with him! The food was absolutely delicious, the steaks were cooked perfectly and it was all really tasty and well presented. A wonderful place to go and eat/drink, thank you!

Popped in for a few drinks one evening. Very friendly and efficient bar staff. Pub has a lot of character and is in the beautiful village of Abbotskerswell next to the church. Visited again on Saturday 11th May with my daughter for a family meal. I had Thai green chicken curry which was authentic and tasty, just right on the spice. My husband had the lamb shank with the garlic mushrooms for starters. My daughter's partner had the venison. All meals were excellent. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's a beautiful pub in a country setting, definitely worth visiting whilst in Devon.

Wonderful Pub with excellent food and great service. The tables nicely laid out so that your not sat too close together. Pricing was just about right for what we had and would definitely go back again.

Had a family lunch in the upstairs room. It has been done up since i was last there and looks great. We had the roast lunch, and the food was delicious with a good selection of vegetables. The staff are lovely and very helpful and friendly and it is very reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back soon.

Really lovely pub restaurant. We came the other day without a booking and despite all the reserved table the staff kindly fitted us in for a meal. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Food was gooooood, really nice food and super good value for money. Portions were very generous. I had the steak and ale pie followed by sticky toffee pudding. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. We would come back again if we are in the area.

Popped into the court farm inn 23rd march around 5pm on the fly, without a booking. They managed to find us a table for two that was reserved for later on that evening. A warm welcome greeted us by all the staff. Food was very very good and of high quality and reasonably priced for the quality and portions you get. Would highly recommend, great service and great hearty food in a cosy country pub.

Beers were in excellent condition. Food presented really well.

We enjoyed a Sunday lunch at the court farm recently. Everything about it was perfect. All 6 of us ordered different meals, including 1 vege and 1 gluten free. All meals came out in good time, were piping hot and very tasty. 6 very happy customers who will be returning shortly. As a side note, the gluten free chocolate brownie is amazing.

The best Sunday roast! Me and my family recently booked a table for lunch and couldn’t fault it. Everyone enjoyed everything about their meals, good vegetarian meal, tasty pie’s, amazing roast and delicious cauliflower cheese! I am coeliac and they did the best gluten free roast beef, the gravy was so tasty and they even done a gluten free Yorkshire pudding! 😍 I also had the tastiest gluten free brownie which I recommend anyone to try!!! The friendliest staff and amazing service I cannot wait to go back again!

Went there with a private party in an upper room. Staff friendly and efficient.The food could have been a challenge as people chose many different dishes, but all found the meal great and it was delivered at pretty much the same time .They also had a good selection of vegetarian dishes

Mum and daughter lunch, we decided to go with Light Bites/ Tapas and get an assortment to share, everything was lovely, service pleasent, presentation good and food delicious. I'll definitely be back and I will bring my husband.

We love this place! The locals are just great. So friendly, everyone makes such an effort. The food is amazing! My normal go to is the lasagna but I tried the Thai food this week, and it was genuinely the best Thai curry I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend eating and drinking here.

Went today for my daughters birthday. Amazing service with happy friendly staff. Food was delicious and they even brought my daughter out a desert with a candle in and sang happy birthday. Brilliant visit.

I went here at lunchtime today with 8 friends. I'd ordered Lasagne and when it came it was a big portion and had loads of meat in it, accompanied by garlic bread and salad. It was amazing and I really enjoyed it. My friends also enjoyed their meals. The staff were very helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We'll definitely be back. KEEP IT UP MANOR FARM. Birthday meal out, the welcome, service and quality of the food was exceptional. What really made the meal stand out was the service from Tracy who was very friendly but also very efficient given that she was taking orders, serving at the bar and delivering the food from the kitchen! Attended a small Wedding Reception held in the upstairs function room. Really good food and the service provided by the friendly staff was simply 👌 excellent. Definitely intend to make a return visit to try out the delights of this gastro pub.

We've visited here a few times now and always enjoyed ourselves. Most recently had the most wonderful Sunday roasts. It was incredibly tasty with generous helpings of vegetables. A huge bonus is that they are dog friendly too! Be sure to visit, it's worth the trip.

First time eating here in spite of staying in the area regularly. Regretting having missed the place before now. Food is perfect; possibly the best cooked vegetables and fish pie I've eaten in a pub. Good ales too. These sound like simple basic things you should be able to get in all pubs, but most don't even come close to getting it right. We'll definitely be back.

What a lovely place. We met up with a friend, who lives close by, for a midday meal with our dogs. We booked in advance as we have a lot of dogs! They had saved us a table with plenty of space and greeted the dogs with treats. Our meals were fabulous, complements to the chef. I definitely had pie envy when I saw my friends pork and apple pie but my creamy chicken, chorizo, Cajun spiced pasta was amazing so I got over it 😁 The service was excellent and we cannot recommend them highly enough. We're holidaying in the area otherwise it would be a regular place to visit. Will definitely find them again if we're in the area again.

I was so impressed by Court Farm Inn. I phone at 12.30 on a Sunday to ask if they could take a booking of five people, and they were charming and said yes they could accommodate us, even at a late time of asking. We arrived to see a very beautiful pub with large car park and we were welcomed and made to feel special. The food , service and staff were all lovely and the pub had a great ambiance and really well decorated. We were there after a special family occasion and it really made the day. Very good portions of food with many vegetables perfectly cooked. Thanks so much for for making it a special day for us.

Sunday lunch with friends. We all chose the roast but good selection of other meals on menu. Roast was exceptional with fantastic selection of veg and good value for money. Well cooked and presented. Staff and Landlady very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend.

We went here for my Grandmother’s birthday with our children (both under 5) last Sunday. My wife and I had visited before and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and great food. The staff were absolutely brilliant with the children and the level of service was exceptional. Great venue, great food, exceptionally friendly staff - what more can I say?
