Fui aquí a almorzar hace una semana. La comida era abrumadora, y ciertamente no vale la pena el precio que pagas. Considerando que este era un almuerzo entre semana, el servicio era lento. La tarta estaba empapada, sin texturas claras, pastelería empapada, tibia, sin mucho sabor a las verduras no identificables (toda la tarta es solo una papilla marrón). Por el precio que pagas, la hamburguesa de £ 15 vino con muy pocas papas fritas (toda la taza de papas fritas está rellena de papel, dejando espacio para unas 110 papas fritas pequeñas) , y el bollo de hamburguesa estaba seco rayano rancio. No lo recomiendo.

This place was new to us and we had such a nice time that we've already booked to comeback! It is easily accessible, tastefully decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. Our host, Gaetano, was extremely attentive and helpful. He was able to help me work around a couple of dietary requirements with the menu and could not have been more lovely if he tried. The food was great - thank you chef! I over ordered not realising the portion sizes would be as generous as they were. Every bite was delicious and all quite reasonably priced too. What a thoroughly pleasant experience. Thank you all, especially Gaetano.

Después del teatro, mi familia y yo fuimos a cenar a Côte. Llegamos temprano para nuestra reserva, pero nos sentamos de inmediato. Tenía el Fish Parmentier, no me impresionó. Una fina capa de puré de patatas (apenas un ancho de dedos) con un caldo blanco debajo escondiendo unos trozos de puerro remojado y sin sabor, un par de gambas, y curiosamente trozos perfectamente cuboides de pescado (edredón y salmón según el menú, pero totalmente indistinguible aquí) Se puede saborear cuando el pescado está fresco en comparación con el congelado, y esto fue sin duda esto último. Dejando de lado la hinchazón francesa, era un pastel de pescado, y honestamente he tenido mejor de la sección de neveras de Sainsburys! El lugar ya estaba medio vacío (presumiblemente coincidiendo con los horarios de los espectáculos de teatro), pero parecía que nuestra mesa estaba siendo ignorada activamente mientras el personal pasaba por delante sin mirar. Todo el personal parecía bastante snob y muy levantado toda la noche. Servicio muy lento y cuando nos sirvieron eran unos desgraciados! Después de lo que parecía una eternidad nos dieron menús del desierto. No había nada que me gustara, decidí probar las Madeleines (3 madeleines en salsa de chocolate) No eran agradables, la madelaína sabía a rosquilla de anillo que estaba a punto de envejecer, y la salsa de chocolate era acuosa y tenía un sabor extraño. Comí 1 madeleine y abandoné el resto. Siendo un restaurante francés esperaba ver un Apple Galette, Mille - Feuille o Apple Tarte Tatin en la lista del desierto. Decepcionado Después de otra espera insoportablemente larga tuvimos que facturar. Más tarde me enteré de que habían incluido la gratificación que papá acababa de pagar, yo habría pedido quitarla. Sin duda no volvería aquí de nuevo y no lo recomiendo

Wonderful experience. Top notch steak for me, wonderful Belly park for my wife and a really delicious and quality burger for our 8 year old son. Great glass of Pinot. And did they really REALLY only charge £7.50 for a really lovely two course children’s meal - INSANE! Huge thanks to Safal also - fantastic service and lovely guy.

When the staff are busy, but still manage to do something extra to make your meal excellent, that certainly deserves 5 stars.

Todas nuestras comidas estaban frías, las zanahorias en mi bourguignon de carne estaban congeladas en el medio! Enviamos la comida de vuelta y obviamente solo la pusieron en el microondas, cuando uno de mis hermanos plato de pollo volvió estaba humeante caliente pero seco y no comestible. Mis otras 2 hermanas tenían el vientre de cerdo que ambas tuvieron que regresar porque hacía frío. Si vas a cobrar los precios que están casi ahí arriba con restaurantes con estrellas Michelin yo al menos esperaría que la comida sea fresca y no en microondas. Una decepción masiva y definitivamente sobreprecio. Comer en otra parte...

Coincidently, I went to Cote two nights in a row (Reading and then Woking). I'd say my experience in Woking was far superior. The attention to detail and plate presentation was far superior in Woking. I also much prefer the ambience and layout of the restaurant in Woking. It feels calmer and more intimate. Staff were lovely in both place but Woking had the edge (maybe because I was a table of 16 in Reading, but of 4 in Woking). They were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Always get a great welcome and level of service at this restaurant. Atmosphere is relaxing and food of high quality. Some good deals occasionally too!

Summer 24 Work meal out. Serviceable. Food to a high standard UPDATED Dec 24 Wow Just had the best Christmas work meal ever. It really was fantastic and I'm not that easily pleased.

Cote is a place we've been to a few times around the country. I have to say this place is by far the worst. From placing the order to the food arriving it was 50 mins!!!!! We had to ask where the food was, surprise surprise literally 30 seconds later the food arrives. There was no apology and no reasons why it was late in the first place. We could see that we were not there only customers where the food was late. Anyway there are other Cote in Surrey so we'll be going there and not to Woking. The food was good, hence 5 stars just the food was very late.

We went to have breakfast the lady at the entrance told us that we should have made a reservation and that it is full while there were too many empty tables and we left. I went to the store's page to see if it was really full and while the time was 12:15 I normally made a reservation for 12:30. We went back and told them we came in and made a reservation and she says ok I have a table for you but at 1:30 you have to be gone. Unacceptable service. We finally left because breakfast was served until 11:30.

After being seated for over 15 mins with no offer of drinks or food eventually had to go to the bar to ask for service. When the food came Luke warm and scrambled egg over done. There are no explanations as to why service was so bad which would have allowed us to understand more. Sadly another chain that shows how unimportant service and product quality is. Would not return.

We came here for lunch and were disappointed that our steaks arrived cold and the chips and green beans were underdone. The two servers were very polite and helpful, but the problem occurred because there were two people from Head Office sitting at a table with laptops and the Chef tasting every dish on the menu in turn. It was obtrusive and off putting. If the Chef had been allowed to do his job in the kitchen during this busy lunchtime service, perhaps we and the other customers wouldn’t have had to wait so long for our food and have it arrive cold. I would suggest that if Head Office staff require to take over a table and the Chef’s time, they could do it at a less busy time in the working day. Rather than force hard working service staff to compensate for the added stress they are putting on an understaffed kitchen. Badly done by Head Office.

Very flavoursome food, well cooked. Excellent attentive service. Most enjoyable evening.

Slow service and the food was cold. When there with my son this morning, it took 30mins for the breakfast to arrive and when if did the egg on my breakfast was cooked to within an inch of it's life and it, and the rest of the breakfast was stone cold. not great for c.£15

We called in for drinks before going to the theatre. I ordered a cafatiere and my wife ordered a glass of wine. Our order arrived with a bottle of water which had been opened. We never ordered water, however we go charged £5.55 with our bill. I should have complained, but I didn't. If there is a next time I shall pipe up.

I had the best birthday dinner experience in the last decade.

Food was good (when it did eventually arrive), service was terrible. It took long and the waiters were rude and condescending. We had 3 different people waiting on our table and it was still poor service, only one of them was friendly and provided good service.

Unfortunately the service was so slow/poor it ruined the meal and experience. We arrived for a brunch and promptly ordered 3 breakfasts hot drinks and juices. That was as good as it got. The drinks then took 15 minutes to arrive, a pot of tea without milk and a coffee without sugars. This arrived separately a few minutes later with 2 sugar cubes on a saucer as if they are trying to save money??? The food then took over 30mins to arrive so we picked it up at this point with the staff. Despite the restaurant not being busy (5-6 tables) - they apologised and immediately offered to take something off the bill (as if it seems to happen a lot). We asked for the service to be removed which they did. We won’t be returning as this Cote was nothing like the one in Guildford. Reasonable food let down by such poor service.

We like the service & atmosphere, but the food was terrible for a Cote

Sean was our host and he was nothing but incredible. Genuinely had the best evening and he really.msde me feel special. Appreciate him and the whole team at Woking.

A breakfast package has been reintroduced by Cote. This makes Cote competitive . For a fixed price it icludes cooked breakfast, juice and coffee. There were sven of us and were well pleased with the service, ingredients and cooking. A comfortable place too. Excellent........but one star less if price complet menu not chosen.

French cuisine is my favourite one. Usually I book a table at the Ivy Marlow or Winchester but because of Theatre tickets and lack of time my friend insisted on going to Côte brasserie in Woking. She is from Reading, according to her Côte is quite ok. That’s why she was really surprised after visiting Woking brasserie. First, this is unacceptable to wait 30 min for a breakfast. We left our car close to restaurant and that’s why I could see chefs smoking 2-3 cigarettes when we were waiting for a food. Let’s start from the brunch. My English breakfast has overcooked fried eggs (almost burned at the edges), dry beans without no taste, dry sausage and few pieces of mushrooms and potatoes. The tomatoes were cold. One slice of bacon cut in 2 is still one slice, not 2. My friend’s French breakfast: sausage was cold inside, scrambled eggs with no salt and half portion of brioche ( only one slice for whole breakfast!). The same ridiculous, small amount of mushrooms, definitely not a portion. We also ordered a side of avocado and we asked for no chilli. Instead of that we have been served a disgusting spread of guacamole definitely with some peppers. I can get the same from the shop. We also ordered a hollandaise souse. Not freshly made, runny and tasteless. Overall: Overpriced, tasteless food and waiters not interested in doing their job. You except better service after spending so much money. There is also a communication issues between waiters and chefs becouse the swearing in polish and agressive English comments were so loud that we could hear it nex to our table. My fried is polish so for her it was double disrespectful and disgusting. That was my first and LAST visit at Côte.

Four of us had a fabulous meal last night with great service. We shared starter nibbles followed by fish stew for 2, moules frites and duck confit. All delicious and washed down by an excellent Rose Wine. We sat out outside, a lovely way to spend an evening with friends.

Good place for food, always been good but last time went for Sunday brunch, portion sizes (for once) were too small. Every other time, I’ve been however, has been good to go to and staff are brilliant

Our waitress Marvina was very kind and friendly. Our food was delicious. Nice open aired breeze. Very welcoming restaurant. I love that the restaurant took time to speak to us since my wife has a seafood allergy. In the US, they don’t that. It feels more personal when they do this. Timing of food was perfect. We did not have to rush. Highly recommend!

Made a Tripadvisor account just so I could leave this review. My family is visiting from abroad, and my mother wanted to take us out to eat to celebrate some exciting achievements in our lives. I don’t usually eat at restaurants because I can’t eat alliums (garlic, onions, leeks, spring onions, shallots, etc.) and they’re in basically everything, and in my personal experience, restaurants are pretty cavalier about it. Against my better judgement, I agreed to go out for brunch. I figured, how bad can it be? Breakfast food is usually relatively safe. I was feeling savoury, and I fancied eggs. I told the server about my dietary requirements, and he very helpfully brought out a tablet with the ingredients for me to peruse. I fancied the eggs florentine, but they contained garlic, so I eschewed those and instead selected the smashed avocado toast with poached eggs. I also ordered scrambled eggs off the kids menu for my baby, and requested no salt because she’s less than a year old and therefore not supposed to eat salt yet. They apparently forgot about our food order, which was kinda weird considering that we were one of only three tables in the place. A different server came by 30 minutes after our food order had been taken and was surprised to hear that we were waiting for food. She was very kind and checked on our food for us, which we appreciated. Our initial server came by to apologise and told us the food would be out in five minutes. To his credit, it was. Unfortunately, the baby’s eggs were salted (luckily I tasted some before giving them to her) and had to be replaced, which I felt bad about because I loathe food wastage. I bit into my smashed avocado toast and instantly the taste of garlic hit me. I got my husband to try it, and he agreed it tasted of garlic. My mother also tried it, and also tasted the garlic. I accosted the server and apologetically explained that although garlic was not in the list of ingredients for this item, it was very clearly present, and I therefore could not eat the food. By this time it was 11:30, over an hour since we had arrived at the restaurant, and I had not yet eaten a single thing since waking up at 6:30 and I was super hungry (which obviously is on me! I should have eaten breakfast, but I also didn’t think food would take so long). I ordered the french toast because that seemed like a safe bet even though I wasn’t in the mood for sweets. When my food finally arrived (after everyone else at the table had already finished eating), the server felt the need to get in a parting shot: “I read through the ingredients, and there’s no garlic in there. You’re just tasting the reaction of the avocado with the lime and the chilli.” That took me from being hungry and mildly annoyed to super angry. I had already told him that it wasn’t on the list of ingredients. I knew because I had read the list. I am not an idiot. I am from California, and I KNOW what avocado with lime and chilli tastes like. The flavour of garlic is both pungent and distinct. We all had tasted the food. Maybe if he had bothered to taste it, he would have realised that it contained garlic. Instead, he argued with me and treated me like a child after serving me food with an ingredient that I had clearly communicated I could not eat. He never apologised for serving me food that makes me ill. We went out to celebrate, but everyone was in a bad mood when we left. The food was average at best. The server was a jerk. I hope making yourself feel like a big man was worth making one of your patrons ill. I had never been here before today, and I will never be back.

Had the tacos to start, recommeded by the waitress. They where amazing followed by the succulent pork belly with cabbage and potatoes. Great service and great food.

Awesome food, staff and management. They also have music entertainment the last Sunday of the month at brunch time with a fantastic performer. Recommend

The Quality of our steaks was very poor Requested medium to well done and arrived after a long wait undercooked. Fish Pie was nice. The service was very slow waiting a long time between orde4rd and having our meals delivered to our table, We did not have time to make an issue as we were going on to a show at Woking Theatre. We will find somewhere to eat when dining before any further shows at the Theatre

Pleasant enough chap when I arrived .. 3 of them chatting by the till and I was sat a table where there could easily see me ... I was ready to order both drinks and food ... I waited, a waiter walk past me ... I waited a few minutes more and then left ... no wonder the place had hardly one in it ... shocking service!

Went with family on Saturday lunchtime. We hadn't booked though there were plently of seats as it wasn't half full. It's somewhere we have been numerous times in the past as they cater for special diets and it was the casting vote of a grandson whose birthday we were celebrating. Having turned up at noon, we finally left at 2.30 after 3 courses. The slowness of service overall was disappointing, and we noticed a couple gave up waiting and left before their meal eventually arrived. Attentive staff would have noticed earlier that the customers had gone. The meals themselves were OK though in two cases not as hot as they should have been. Just before the main course appeared a staff member came to apologise for the delay ( it was around an hour after all). If this is a new normal standard of customer service it will drive business away to other decent restaurants nearby. Sorry to be downbeat.

Fantastic pre-theatre dinner at Cote last night. We walked in with no booking at a busy time on a Saturday evening, but the staff ensured we got our preferred table on a lovely outdoor terrace. A complimentary round of Kir Royale’s was brought for each of us too, as it was my birthday, which was a lovely unexpected touch. Allergies were taken seriously and service was fantastic throughout. 3 of us had 2 courses each, and enjoyed all of them. Would particularly recommend the spring special of lamb whilst it’s still around. Courses were spaced out perfectly, meaning we were well on time for the theatre without feeling rushed. Honestly couldn’t fault them. Thank you to everyone at Cote Woking - we will see you again soon!

We ate here with friends before the theatre, they had a great 2 steaks deal that had a free bottle of wine so amazing value. All the steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Very full. Staff very attentive. Food still good but portion sizes seem smaller. Mushroom choice used synthetic protein...not a good idea, looks like meat! Did feedback. Fish dish tasty as usual.

It's Cote in Woking City Centre. Cote in Kingston or London will be better on all fronts but it's a Good above average place to enjoy dinner. The food is likely better then all the other surrounding restaurants

After receiving 3 out of 4 starters and waiting at least 10 mins for the fourth starter to arrive, (which we had to ask for) we then had to wait around 45 mins for our main courses to arrive. When they came (again after asking nicely how much longer we would have to wait) the waitress was off hand when she put the wrong dish in front of one of our group, suggesting her mistake was our fault. That being said, most of the staff were pleasant. The food was ok, much as you’d expect from a chain but I’m not sure I’d recommend Woking Cote to friends.

As a veggie and vegan it's terrible. Over priced and dull. Not at all French. Service was sloweewwwee and they forgot my drinks and spent the whole time sucking up to a table who had cold mussels. Blah

Honestly quite disappointed with the service ! We have been in Côté before and had a good experience. The portion for the breakfast were very minimal and we waited almost 20min for French toast which did not look like the picture at all! Very misleading pictures on the websites regarding that!

The wide breakfast menu is very attractive .We enjoyed the quality dishes , with generous portions. Service was friendly but a trifle slow. A comfortable, not inexpensive, restaurant. Recommendable.

We came for my Mother’s Day treat and the restaurant certainly didn’t disappoint. We were short of time and only had an hour as we were going to a show at the theatre at 3pm. We told the waiter Bishal and he was on the case. Took food order and then came back for drinks order so that the kitchen could start on the food. Our other waiter was Luke and he was also very attentive without being over the top. We had the meat sharing platter at £25/head and it was amazing. Great service and food. Will defo return

Delicious fish pie in a lovely, warm setting, a lovely friendly welcome especially from Angus who looked after us during our visit. We will definitely be back.

We ordered the pork belly and a chicken dish. The chicken dish had loads of meat but the veg was a bit lacklustre and overall the sauce had little flavour. The potatoes which came with the pork were good but the pork belly had almost no meat on it. The pudding portions were also tiny despite costing close to £8 each. The wine was also so so. Pleasant staff but otherwise underwhelming.

Delicious breakfast. Lots of options, even for the children. Staff very friendly. We come regularly and we love it. We are loving the new menu as well.

How did an amazing taste of French cuisine on Valentine’s Day. It was easy to book and easy to find in the High Street of Woking Central. Very close to the train station. Inside the restaurant the workers were very proactive in coming back to check on us and we had our meal served quickly and hot. We enjoyed the three course meal, consisting of a starter a main and the desert all three of which were perfect. Atmosphere in the store was perfect as well. 10 out of 10 experience.

Met by Gabriela who had only just arrived herself but bothered to secure our comfort and arrangements over herself! Brilliant example of subtle customer service and consideration that goes beyond training and most service staff! Thanks so much for an enjoyable experience!

French based food well presented

Very disappointing valentines meal. My girlfriend and I walk past this place a lot and thought we’d give it a go for valentines. Opted for the ‘sharer steak’ which was once of the gristliest bits of meat I’ve ever eaten. The food came out almost instantly which, as much as I appreciate prompt service, the spend at which this arrived was a little concerning. The sides were okay, but portion sizes were minimal, I counted 18 chips. At close to £100 for two people we expected a whole lot more coming from the quality of what we received. You can eat in some of Londons better steak restaurants for this price point and leave a whole lot more satisfied, at least I got a good jaw workout from the steak! With so many other good places to eat locally, at much more reasonable price points, I can’t imagine we’ll ever go here again.

My wife and daughter enjoyed lunch there saying “ A spur of the moment quick lunch turned into a special experience.”

I enjoyed cote i liked what they have to offer on the gluten free menu it was a bit noisy the atmosphere as there were quite a few people maybe next time when its not so busy have a quiet table otherwise it was good. Good choice of food

I visited the restaurant on Monday the 5th of February 2024 with a friend. We were really excited as with the exception of their breakfast, their mussels and their calamari their food has always been great as well as their service however on Monday night (with the exception of their service) the food was atrocious. I ordered the beef bourghignon and it was as if someone had stored it in the fridge in the same plate a few days before. It was covered in a light white patina and it was room temperature. Absolutely horrible. My friend had the same experience with his food which I don't remember exactly what it's was but had a lot of lentils as a side. We both sworn that will never set foot there again. To add insult to injury I have been sick all night. Never EVER again.

Booked online, sat quickly at table, drinks served very quickly. Food order taken, food took slightly longer but was so tasty! Drinks were good too, and dessert... wow! Fillet steak = excellent and chocolate fondant = incredible!

A pleasant restaurant with a good menu. However, the waiting staff need training in serving etiquette. Having the server reaching over the table with a plate of hot food is not a pleasant experience.

Food was very good; service was quick and staff efficient and friendly, as we have found with all COTEs. It was possibly the quickest service of any COTE we've been to, BUT it was also the noisiest, which spoiled the atmosphere - there was no way we could have a proper conversation. I think the staff had even kept the background drum-music going, which was totally unnecessary. Next time we'll go somewhere else for our pre/post theatre meal.

The pre theatre meals we had were outstanding: pork belly and beef bourginon. The food was very high quality and tasted as if eveything had been prepared in a proper kitchen by experienced chefs. Cote far exceeds it's chain competitors and offers good value for money. And staff and service was particularly good.

We come here fairly regularly for either breakfast or supper. We have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and keen to ensure all is well with our order. Menu is varied and the food tasty. The restaurant itself is always smart with a pleasant ambiance. We will continue to frequent this restaurant.

Third visit and not so good. Certain house dishes were not on the menu that day. Food was OK. Service very slow. Just general standards of food and service were not as good. The ladies loos are always not up to scratch or cleanliness. No soap. Not sure I will go back.

가족과 3신과 함께 저녘시간에 방문 와인1병과 스테이크(250g정도) 양념소스, 삽겹찐돈에 게살손합양념요리( 250g정도) 감자스볶음,바게트2조각 (150g정도) 해서 감칠나게 와인안주에 가족과 함께한 시간이었네요 음시가격주류 :103£(세금20%) 스테이크는 단백한맛이지만 좀질기다는것을 느켰고,돈게살음식은 부드럽고 단백한느낌,감자양념요리는 단백 고소 부드러운맛 음식양념은 짜지도 싱겁지도 않게 단백,고소 부드러움맛이었네요 3인에 음식가격은 103£으로 좋은시간을 보냈네요~

We went for an early dinner at 4:30pm due to having just had a wonderful time at Woking panto for a Christmas treat with our 2 year old and her grandparents. We ordered some garlic bread to share for a starter and our mains all at the same time. My daughter’s meal arrived with the garlic bread even though we had requested it with the mains but that wasn’t a huge issue until 1 hour and 15 minutes later when there was still no sign of our mains arriving. My husband asked where the food was and the waiter made no apology but blamed his colleague for lack of communication as he had ‘just taken over’ our table - not our problem. Another long while later, we managed to catch the ‘acting manager’ for the evening to ask him where our food was. Again, we received absolutely no apology but were again told it was due to a colleague’s error and also because we ordered starters which delayed the main courses. I am not sure a bit of garlic bread between 4 people warrants over an hour wait for main meals. We’d finished all of our drinks and no one had asked if we wanted any more while we waited. All in all we were at the restaurant for almost 2 hours with no food in sight watching all of the tables fill up around us receiving their meals. When we decided enough was enough, we told the waiter to forget our order as we were tired of waiting, but still, unbelievably, not a single person in the restaurant apologised or even acknowledged that we were leaving. My husband approached the ‘acting manager’ on our way out to tell him we were going, and he had absolutely nothing to say to us. I have never witnessed such appalling service (or lack of) and it was so disappointing that we had an experience like this on what was supposed to be a festive family day out.

Amazing food, from starters to main course! Rava, our server, made the night even better with her friendly vibe and spot-on recommendations. Can't wait to come back!

Okay, I hate having to eat here but it seems to be the only place in Woking you can get a proper sit down something to eat. Service a bit average but its okay. Atmos? Needs a bit but hey ... It's a franchise. Food? Well I'm just a bit surprised just how good this steak is, thanks Cote.

We visited on Wed 6th December and the whole dining experience was 5 star. Special thanks to Angus who remembered us from 3 months ago and created our favourite cocktail for us and was really engaging. Also, special thanks to Gabby who provided excellent service for our occasion and was very professional, warm and friendly. Compliments to Chef and the kitchen team also for a delicious meal. Thank you, Cote, Woking 🙂

RAVA was a top tier server, she made me feel so welcome and really looked after me during my visit, if I owned a restaurant I would want all the staff to be like her!!!
