Cosy Club Hereford in Herefordshire, County of

Dropped in on the off-chance they had a table for two at the end of some Christmas shopping. It was very busy and we weren’t expecting to be seated, but were pleasantly surprised with an immediate ‘yes’ and swiftly taken to a table. Service impeccable as always, attentive but not overbearing. Food is top notch and atmosphere warm and inviting. Highly recommend!!

Food was excellent, but Service was lacking. Not the actual employees fault, more that there was not enough employees to handle the Christmas demand. Waited over 40 mins for starters, drinks orders wrong etc. Managers/owners need to invest more in service. Kitchen staff beyond reproach, I would recommend the garlic shrimp starter and any meat burger

Nice staff, good value food and better atmosphere than Spoons.

It seems that the day we visited, a large party had turned up at the wrong time and threw out the planning for their meal. The result was that our service was slow. This wasn't a problem for us as we were meeting friends and were happy to chat. Nevertheless, the staff were very apologetic and a delightful and very professional young lady with a pony tail (we didn't get her name) offered us free drinks to compensate. Things do go wrong sometimes and it's how it is handled that shows the calibre of the place. We shall definitely be back

Nice place to eat, service was very slow

Came here after our work Christmas meal for some drinks, despite it being a busy Saturday night, we were still able to find a large enough space with comfy chairs for us all. Drinks were all good and atmosphere was nice the with decor and having a quiet enough corner to all talk without shouting over other people.

Very over priced, 14 quid for two baileys is a bit much. Very nice place but London prices

A large group of us arrived for breakfast which was booked the previous Wednesday on Saturday morning. We were lead upstairs which all seemed fine until the hot water dispensers wouldn’t work for tea and coffee. This was rectified after a time however the breakfasts which were pre ordered arrived at most 2 at a time with an extremely long wait in between! This resulted in some of our guests having to get theirs to take away in a tiny takeaway tray which when opened by the time we got back to our coach looked abysmal! Considering were were rebooked and preordered this was extremely poor service and we definitely will not be returning or recommending for future trips.

We had a great night out here. Food was delicious, really good service and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Would recommend. Wheelchair accessible and disabled toilet.

Great, friendly service and food. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. I mistakingly thought a bread came with my meal, when it didn’t come, I asked the staff, they explained it doesn’t come with the meal, I was ok with it, I chose not to order on top of the meal but they ordered me one anyway on the house. The staff definitely went the extra mile and the food tasted great, which we didn’t expect. It was great to have the staff interact with us as customers, this doesn’t always happen nowadays. Smiles everywhere too! We will be back!!

Is The Jam Factory part of The Cosy Club?

Staff were friendly enough but we waited 60 mins for our breakfast which obviously 3 young children weren't happy with. Staff never came over to mention any delay and food was only average when we finally recieved.

I have marked the service a 4 because the room staff are great. However, there is a flaw in the kitchen service that leads to inordinately slow delivery of everything food wise and I mean everything. It is torturous in the extreme. You have to sort this guys.

Had an excellent afternoon in the Cozy club, Ace was our waitress and she was amazing, food was good and as usual we will definitely come back, this is a special place in Hereford town and is a fantastic example of outstanding customer service, once again just wanted to highlight the service from Ace. Well done and we will be back

Went for a hot chocolate . And decided to have a bite to eat 😋 so went for a starter as just needed something light had Spanish chicken and it was to die for ! Lovely chicken done in a lovely spicy sauce topped with yogurt definitely gave this again . Staff friendly and tables clean well done to all at Cosy club definitely a good place to just have a drink or something to eat . The changed menu is just as good as the old

So happy to see that you do a gluten free menu as my daughter is coeliac and sometimes it’s hard to find somewhere that caters to her! Food was delicious and service was excellent

Came here on a tuesday evening,plenty of tables,but mostly booked,staff seated us and took order,nice table ,good food and service,not large portions. In centre so parked over road in multi story. Had Salmon and steak.plus a cider each,nice cider,as we were in hereford,but it came all way from new zealand????ok one was westons traditional.

Great concept, lovely atmosphere fantastic choice of drinks, though more a cocktail bar than a beer bar. Interesting & tasty food.

A nice space to be in, service slightly slow and others who came in after were served before us but it wasn't too long a wait. Food was nice, but I think slightly pricey for the quality, there are nicer breakfasts for the same money elsewhere.

It's a old building but quite relaxed could do with brightening up.

Visited for a pre-wedding party. Have been to a few other Cosy Clubs around the UK but while this was in a lovely venue and the staff were friendly, the upstairs bar was woefully slow and under prepared. Three people would work on one customer's order at a time in the least efficient way possible. Ended up just ordering downstairs where it ran smoothly. It was also unbearably warm upstairs even with the windows open. While it was a rather warm day by usual standards I'd have thought some air con or even big ceiling fans would have made sense in a chain bar like Cosy Club.

To expensive and not value for money

Excellent breakfast, great service. Large breakfast menu to choose from. Felt spoilt for choice. Clean, friendly atmosphere. Our server Heather was fantastic, completely on the ball and one step ahead at all times. Food was delicious and we will definitely be back.

Excellent menu .All of our food choices were spot on. The service from all staff was brilliant and I would highly recommend this venue.

We love the cosy club everything about the place is lovely. This has the potential to be so much better if a few of these simple recommendations from observations were made. 1) you are welcomed on entrance, but the staff don’t then make their way to the bar to serve you 2) never enough staff on or space at the downstairs bar to get served. 3)Cocktails are the main choice, take a while to prepare and therefore takes a while to get served especially when only 1 bar tender 4) quality of cocktail is not consistent. Short measures by some, made differently by others. To fix… simple More staff at peak times Not hanging around at the door be helpful Better training on cocktails Open the second bar upstairs Then I wouldn’t find us walking in and back out again

Came upon this restaurant while sight seeing in Hereford booked online straight away and had a really tasty meal. Staff attentive without being intrusive.

Went for breakfast as a table of 6 all delicious just got one bacon pancakes instead of berry ones which was rectified. Pancakes were amazing will come back as all enjoyed coffees and breakfast.

The food was excellent. We had a selection of sharing platters between us. A good atmosphere and nice friendly staff on hand to help.

Excellent place for a nice early evening dinner in Hereford, a cut above standard pub fare.

The service was attentive but the meal was disappointing. I ordered the ravioli, which was very sparse - I left still hungry. At least the cost of the rock hard garlic bread was deducted from the bill.

In Hereford for weekend. Weather awful but welcome at the Cosy Club fab. We enjoyed delicious small plates and cocktails. The service was excellent . Quality dining and very good value for money. Our server was so friendly and attentive. Thankyou Cosy Club!

Amazing vibe and atmosphere. They have amazing gluten free options, which is something I rarely find. The staff are very nice, only downside is the wait was a bit long. Definitely recommend.

We visited Cosy Club on a Sunday morning. The staff are friendly and helpful. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. We had one cooked vegetarian breakfast and one standard cooked breakfast . We will definitely eat there again and recommend to friends and family.

Went here to celebrate after getting married and i felt so special! There was a lovely card from the team and they even spoiled us with a bottle of champagne, food was amazing and service was fast considering there were lots of us!

Really impressed, the breakfast is tasty and service and the team excellent. They dropped the need to blast music at you which has transformed the atmosphere to be perfect for a social warm breakfast.

We visited on Tuesday evening which was really nice and relaxing so returned the following afternoon. Unfortunately our 2nd visit wasn't as nice -there was a drunken women asleep and when she woke up intermittently her manner wasn't exactly pleasant. We appreciate the support which The Cosy Club staff expressed to her, however there appeared to be little gratitude from the woman. It ruined our visit so we left.

Came here 3 times during our trip to Hereford. The service was always top notch and the food was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the maple plum sour cocktail! I'd highly recommended taking the time to visit this little gem. (Thanks for making my birthday perfect!)

Yet again, another lovely meal, and the service was wonderful. It was very quiet when we visited.

Booked the cosy club for a birthday meal was 9 of us (not what I’d consider an huge number) and the service was absolutely shocking. We waiting about 25 minutes for the first drinks, three drinks were wrong and one was completely forgotten about. We then had to go and actually ask a waitress to take our food order as we’d been waiting over 30 minutes. We ended up ordering starters to come with mains as we knew we’d be waiting so long for the mains. Staff were very apologetic and tried to make up for these mistakes but it’s not good when you’ve booked for a special occasion and are so disappointed by the slow service. 3 out of 4 times i’ve personally been there the service has been shockingly slow.

Went for dinner last Sunday evening. Great food and service. Ace looked after us well. Good size portions and well presented. Nice decor and the tables are not too close together. Look forward to going again.

Came here as we had been given a voucher for Christmas 2022, due to work commitments and Ill health we could only do this date only to be told your voucher has expired when coming to pay, what a waste of our family’s money.

Didn’t book a table on a very busy afternoon but were shown the bar area which was warming and welcoming. Service was top notch from bar staff and service. The food arrived really quickly and was very pleasant. Whole table was really impressed with the amount, quality and price. The decor was really to our tastes and felt really warm and welcoming. Will definitely go to this place again!

I had a nice time when I visited the Cosy Club on my own. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The drinks were good and there was a homely atmosphere. I have always made sure to look out for this brand since I visited this bar in Hereford.

Visited over a short new year break whilst in the area. Gorgeous building and very friendly/welcoming staff. Ate here on Saturday 30th December. The food was very nice, me and my partner had the pork belly bites to start followed by the sea bass. Portions sizes on the slightly smaller side however it was most definitely quality over quantity. Both dishes were piping hot and very well cooked and tasty. In particular the sea bass main we were very impressed with and we explained to our lovely waiting staff ( unfortunately I can't recall her name) that we regularly eat in some of the very well known/established restaurants in our home city of Birmingham and paid three times the price for similar dishes that didn't delight us as much as that dish. The bar/restaurant in general had a lovely atmosphere. We can't comment on the later evening as we left around 7pm but overall we agreed we will return and most definitely dine here again when in the area. Well done Cosy Club Hereford, you are probably now up there with our favourite top three in the country!

We have a brilliant Cody Club near me so when we were passing on though we’d try this one for dinner. The service was very good but when my food arrived (a wellington) the bottom of the pastry was badly undercooked; I’d say raw. At almost £17 you’d expect it to be good, but the restaurants response… 10% off the bill. (£3) Personally I’d have comped it, but there we go. Partners dish was brilliant though.

Cosy and quirky vibe, delicious flavours, and the chef catered so well to my dietary requests. Very much appreciated the care and creativity taken - the 'jazzed up' broccoli was beautiful!

Our group of three had a lovely breakfast at the Cosy Club recently, the food was great and the table service even better. Our server George was outstanding and catered precisely to two custom menu requests without a second word or clarification needed, we were all very impressed at his professionalism. One star deducted due to greeting person absent on arrival, we and another party had to wait a while at the door before being noticed and shown to a table. We would definitely return to the Cosy Club for breakfast again however.

Cosy club is great, there's food for everyone, the drinks are lovely and the atmosphere is very good.

Went for breakfast during the week with my wife. We ordered the chorizo hash and the dirty breakfast bap, both of which were very delicious. It was nice clean food as well given sometimes breakfasts Canberra greasy but this certainly wasn't. Atmosphere and decor is amazing, very Great Gatsby vibe and a lovely place to sit and relax.

Had never been to one before and really did not disappoint. We all had starters and mains and food was lovely. Service was excellent too. Will definitely be going back.

Back ground music is not in the back ground, great if you are cleaning cooking or bored working there. I did ask to turn it down which my waitress did. She was very good attentive. But the music came up in volume as I ate. Not for me, loud music for a chilling breakfast. Think about it👃

Cosy indeed, furnished a bit like a gentleman’s club. I had a lovely vegan meal. My only criticism is that because my plate wasn’t preheated, the veg purée round the base of my meal went cold very quickly. But the rest of the meal was hot, so it was only a minor niggle.

We’ve passed this restaurant so many times as we thought it was a pub. After seeing it on Tripadvisor, we decided to have lunch there on the weekend. It did not disappoint. What immediately struck us was how professional the waitress was, and she was actually smiling. For lunch we had the fish finger sandwich and the bacon and chicken club, respectively. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really mellow and nice. I’m very impressed with the menu and we can’t wait to go back again.

Had a lovely meal midweek, steak for me & Teriyaki Salmon for my wife. Food excellent as was the service by George, a top lad.

Myself and my partner just absolutely detroyed two toilets at the exact same time as soon as we got home, food must have been funny or the shifty chef gave us laxatives.

Delicious, well presented food and nice, friendly service. The building itself has lots of character and this is set off nicely with the cool music that was playing in the background. My family and I had a lovely experience.

Absolutely amazing venue for hosting our wedding. The whole team worked so hard to meet all our requirements, and went above and beyond in absolutely all areas, from arranging booking, food and top class service. George was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us everything from the set up the night before and the minute we arrived and the next day packing up our belongings for us to collect. We will definitely be back, as have our guests attending have also said they were amazed with the service and venue and will also be planning future events at the cost club. ***** five stars all round great place. Came for breakfast this morning, waitresses were lovely and food was really tasty. The breakfast gravy was incredible!

Visited today with friends. Service was slow. Starters tasty. I order flat iron steak, asked for medium. It was not flat ironed and cooked blue and chewy, not good quality steak. When paying they automatically add service charge without informing you. Had it removed, food overated and expensive, service slow, did not warrant a tip. Its ashame as nice ambience for a drink. Won't be returning for food.

Visiting Hereford for the weekend last weekend, we checked on night one whether three of us, one with limited mobility and my dog would be able to eat there the following night. We were told that it would have to be the bar because of the dog! That was fine and only to be expected. The following evening we arrived around 6.30pm and were told there was no space available in the bar. We stressed that we had checked, my friend's limited mobility was clear and yet we were simply met with stony faced denial that there was any space for us to eat. There was no apology for the limitations to the info we had been given the previous evening, no attempt to do anything to help my friend, and when asked if we could try waiting for space we were met with a shrug and simply told they could not say how long we might be there. If there had even been the slightest concern for my friend or any indication that we had been given incomplete information the following evening it might have gone some way to making amends. There was none of that and frankly, the cold way in which we were treated means that this lady at least is highly unlikely to visit any Cosy Club anywhere ... I certainly won't go back this one if I find myself in Hereford again!

Did New Year's Eve last year and was amazing, and have to say was perfect again this year The staff are amazing and attentive and the food is excellent. Well done to the chef. I do not normally eat 3 courses but did on this occasion. Cant wait until next year. Thank you for such a superb time

Slow service although very a friendly waiter, speaking in Spanish for us. They didn't have two out of the four main courses of our Christmas Menu and also they didn't have one out of the four desserts. At the end we ordered coffees but then the waiter came saying that sadly they couldn't serve coffees any more (9pm). We asked for the bill and they forgot to discount the £80 that we had paid for deposit and we had to claim for it. Only the waiter apologised for all the inconvinience. The food was good but too poor light, we could barely see the food. We paid the 10% charge for the service anyway (£36).
