I had a portion of Black Truffle Ravioli but it was a very small portion for a full meal price. Me and my friends said that it was merely a starter which was sad. We had to go somewhere else after to feel really full which shouldn't be the case if you pay over 20 pounds for a meal and a drink. The food was good but regret going for this option as all my other friends had a good portion with their chosen option which they paid a similar price for.

Ambiance was amazing and the service was as well. I had a vegetarian breakfast and was expecting a bit better taste more variety of food in the plate to be honest. Overall was good.

Came in for lunch two drinks took about half an hour and two club sandwiches about 50 minutes. The place did appear short staffed out front, the club sandwich wasn't bad but due to the amount of chicken in it was just an egg mayo sandwich in large parts. Was disappointing after better visits in the past. Probably would not choice again for a lunchtime.

Nice food although in need of more staff very slow service, had nearly gone past having an appetite by the time the main was given to us. I had said my booking was for a birthday celebration so I had expected better service

Very poor service, Not made aware of terms of bottomless brunch needing to order food to get drinks - was told on arrival starts when we order our first round of drinks - not once asked if we wanted or were having food. As per ‘bottoms up’ leaflet we were directed to more than 30 mins in this was a requirement as it’s in the term ‘brunch’ and we were advised of the ‘legal’ implications of being served so many drinks without substantial meal. Having to wait between 20-30minutes for a refill when round was up at bar and staff (more than 3) stood around drinking coffee and chatting between themselves. Sad to say we will not be returning - please update your advertisement of this service so it is clear for the future or add food into the advertised service.

Went for a coffee and a chill - it was the ideal place for this. The sofas were very comfy, so it was very nice to relax and look out over the people walking by. Service was fast and the atmosphere was quiet to begin with but soon the lunchtime crowd filled the place up with a bit of a buzz which was okay but can definitely see it being noisy when full.

One of my favourite places right now, cocktails are delicious among a wide variety of other drinks, lager, cider, an array of spirits! Meticulous and friendly customer service from all staff, fantastic food served, whether that be picky bits or a delicious meal! (Croquettes are a must!) Location is ideal, it may be central to the city centre, however despite this, the building has a warming atmosphere inside, due to the decor, furniture, music or quite possibly the warm and bright staff! A highly recommended establishment, you have to tick this one off the bucket list! ✔️

Cracking food and brilliant service.

WE LOVE FRANKIE. Frankie was our server, absolute little babe, had the best descriptions and matching hand gestures to describe the deserts … so a little bit casual theatre thrown in with our dinner , - also she has gorgeous the most gorgeous hair! Food was delicious too, we’ll be back!🧡

Had a fantastic evening. Service was quick, food was delicious and Andrew was really attentive. Slight down side for me was too much choice on the gluten free menu, would definitely advise going for the sharing starter option so you can try a bit of everything 😄

Love it here. Food is amazing, prices are reasonable and the place is lush. We had the best waiter ever tonight. Andrew was brilliant, kept checking we had everything we needed and was professional, friendly and funny! What more could you ask for? Definitely our cup of tea and means we'll be back for more. A great meal and lovely atmosphere

We went today for the first time for my husbands birthday lunch and loved it. The staff, decor and food were lovely. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I had the Spanish chicken and it tasted amazing. For dessert I had the lemon and raspberry semifreddo which I could honestly eat daily it was so good. Our server, Eve, was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again.

Had a 18th birthday celebration, went there for a breakfast and the staff were amazing and even gave our table a free bottle of bubbly 🍾 just made the day that bit more special. Oh and not forgetting the food was beautiful, would definitely recommend and certainly will go back!

One of my fav locations. Very tasty cocktails, amazing decor and yummy food. Go here a lot as there are many veggie options which are different than the boring stuff you see everywhere else. Service always friendly.

Food was excellent, great choice of Gluten Free options including a separate menu. However, took an extremely long time for food to arrive so wouldn't go here if you're in a rush (or with terrible company).

the lift the lift is in a disgusting state. despite mentioning it on arrival, it was not remedied in the 2hours we were there. floor is disgraceful handrails, buttons and other surface unclean. I went to the toilet to wash my hands before sitting. this lack of attention to detail and ignorance to hygiene would stop me returning. value for money and quality the food is over priced for the quality and portion size. I get that you are trying to be at a different level, but you cannot justify the price for 3 prawns, 2 mushrooms and some green leaf, as well as the sauce. the prawns were over-cooked, sauce portion so small I had to ask where it was. for a simple flat steak, it should be extremely easy to cook as requested, but it was not (MW with a flash char), instead it was pink in some areas, juices still running in another. drink prices are shocking and clearly robbing the customer. Music so loud you have to shout across the table Just over £170 for 4 adults and a teenager and with all the above there are better places. This place is less cozy, more club, they charge high end prices for medium end quality

Really enjoy Cosy Club - decent food and potions although some things are priced quite highly on the menu for what they are. Good service as well and will definitely be back!

Great food; first class service; and a wonderful atmosphere. My wife took me here for my birthday,and we were not disappointed. After our meal,we retired to a comfortable sofa in the bar area.

We always like going to the Cosy Club for the surroundings and atmosphere but I must say that lately the prices seem to have increased and the portion sizes seem to have shrunk. That said, the food is always tasty and of a high quality, and the staff always seem friendly and helpful.

The food and the service were tip top but I suppose as its name suggests the back ground music was a bit louder than one might like the toilets were very clean and very easy to find

Went for brunch with a few friends and got the Cali brunch dish. The service and restaurant atmosphere were great! My friends really enjoyed their dishes but I felt it was average!

Staff were quick to attend. Very well kept restaurant. Lovely ambiance. Great choices on both the drinks and food menu. We had a good deal on cocktails before 8pm, where in other bars you have to get 2 of the same cocktail…we appreciated the fact we had 2 free cocktails and all 4 were different ones. Food was prompt and fresh, great service. Would recommend.

I've been to the Plymouth Cosy Club a few times for both food and drinks. It's always a nice atmosphere and great service. The food is good and pretty reasonable. A name place to go back to for any occasion.

It was very noisy to the point I had to shout to have a conversation and before being seated we were not informed that some meals were not available. Also the server was not very knowledgeable about the wines, but otherwise nice.

Nice welcome. Good, efficient friendly service. All meals good, especially the Cauliflower Massamam, highly recommended.

Went to cozy club for a evening meal as a great friend gave us some money to go for a meal she told us all about cozy club how nice it was and how nice food was...the food was fantastic great atmosphere the service was brilliant got taken to our table given menu's then a waitress arrived and asked if wanted any drinks then came back with our drinks..after a little while came back and took order for food which was fantastic..a lovely place to go for a meal or just sit for a coffee..all the staff where very friendly and polite a lovely cosy place to go for a meal

Did the bottomless brunch, it was reasonably priced. Great option if you want more than 3 drinks. Not as boozy as some other brunches I've done but got a good 7 drinks done which is fair going.

I had a lovely dinner here on Valentine’s. As a vegetarian I can throughly recommend the cauliflower dish and they have lots of options for vegetarians.

We didn't eat here on this visit. Cosy club, is a lovely place to go, a nice atmosphere and a vintage feel to the place which makes it even nicer to enjoy your meal or Drinks.

After a bad experience a few years ago (awful food) we thought we would try again and we were so happy we did. Great service lovely food and packed restaurant. Been twice in a month and will now be regulars. The salmon fishcakes are amazing. Great cocktails too

Hi, I don’t often contact people when I have been unhappy but today, at your Plymouth venue, my party of 12 had the worst time. The server at the front was very friendly but when my partner went to order drinks, he was met with a a rude bartender who was off ish and not very helpful at all. We were sat at the table and the waitress came over to take the order. The waiting staff just seemed to be angry that we were even there and it was quite uncomfortable. We ordered the food and for the prices, was expecting some nice food. I have to say the food was absolutely awful as in I have had better food at a Wetherspoons for a 1/3 of the price. My daughter’s burger was so dry you could break your jaw on it; my burger was so over fried it was dripping in grease and my partner a steak which he asked for to be med rare was still raw in the middle and chewy. For £20, I’d have expected a small steak to be cooked a lot better. My brother ordered the duck and it was quite literally a duck leg swimming in tomato sauce for nearly £18: absolutely awful! The music was so loud we had to ask them to turn it down as we couldn’t even hear ourselves think. We wanted to say something about the food but no one came by to ask us how it was because I even think the servers knew how awful it was. For a £250 with service charge on top, I’m appalled at how this was even thought to be acceptable.

After visiting the Birmingham club, I finally made it to my local after years of erm... not really bothering. I wish I hadn't wasted so much of my life! The whole establishment screamed "lavish," the seating was comfortable enough to sleep on and the atmosphere was 2nd only to a speakeasy-style bar I visited in Liverpool. The staff are phenomenal, friendly and very knowledgeable about the products. Everyone was brilliant, but Sam was our main barman/waiter. I have recently been put off of Pomegranates and he was quick to assure me of the ingredients in my food and drink, whilst making us laugh for most of the night! Would definitely recommend, and thank you Sam!

Went for a few drinks and a catch up with family. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and stunning decor. Background music was a l little loud for me personally, but it was starting to get later into the evening and there were a few larger groups in so I understand that. Overall a lovely experience and will be going back.

Wonderful, absolutely recommended. Table for 10, service fantastic, lovely staff and food was amazing. Lovely atmosphere too. Only negative, the lift wasn't working. I have some mobility issues but can manage stairs but slowly. Some can't so may be a good idea to phone ahead.

We're not normally people who use restaurants from a chain, preferring to support local business, but today we were setting ourselves up for our Christmas shopping and stumbled across this place ..and so happy that we did! This restaurant is fabulous if you want a good quality pre-shopping breakfast. Lovely surroundings, professional and friendly staff, good service and good quality tasty breakfasts with quality ingredients ...washed down with a cool mimosa! The breakfast menu is extensive and has something to please all palates and dietary requirements. Highly recommended and will definitely be back for another breakfast. We haven't eaten lunch or dinner here, so can't review those.

It was very busy however they were able to get us a seat, really good customer service especially from our waitress Sophie who was exceptional and always had a smile and was very welcoming. Even though it was busy our food was served quickly and overall we will definetly be coming again.

Nice space and atmosphere. Our server was nice, but we were stood waiting for a while before anyone acknowledged us - I went to the bar in the end. The food....just disappointing. The GF bun was horrible. The burger was basic. The food is no better than Seco, even though it markets itself differently. Zephyr is cheaper and WAY better for a burger. Only came here as Zephyr was closed. More expensive and worse food. Gutted.

Never have I felt the need more to leave a review. Came in earlier on in the year and one of the staff promised my son he'd be in charge one day and my word he delivered! My little boy made friends with Andrew (I think) a good few months back so instantly recognised him as we arrived Saturday I was in awe, this rather quiet but friendly waiter from last time to this absolutely delightful gentleman, half neglected my meal just to witness what I can only describe as the perfect transformation, whether he was joking with my little boy, offering a table of young lads beer, discussing dessert menus with another family or giving guidance to his colleague, this guy, an absolute credit to your business and clearly a man born for customer service, made both mine and my families visit and will certainly be returning soon, thank you

For a team christmas meal, we paid £30 each for a two course. The starter was advertised as one selection each, but ended up being 5 split between 6 people, effectively making it £60. I had the Cosy Club christmas pie. It was nice, but not £20 nice. Expect a 10% service charge added automatically.

After walking the dog on a cold November morning my wife and I called in to Cosy Club Plymouth for a hot drink and something to eat. I ordered 2 flat whites with oatmilk for me and a tea with oatmilk for my wife while we decided what we would eat. The food choice was made, not by looking at the menu, but: * the way the coffees were served. Some of my drink actually remained in the cups with no apology or attempt to clean the spillages by the barstaff who moved quickly away from our table. And * The realisation that we had been charged an extra 50p per drink for the oatmilk. We decided that we'd eat elsewhere.

My first time visiting this cosy club and unfortunately won't go back (at least for brunch) - the breakfasts weren't more than the standard hotel fare (other than the Cali brunch or avocado toast which did come out well), not enough staff and not a great atmosphere unfortunately. Sad to say it because I love our local one.

Decent place to eat for special occasions or date night. The food was excellent and the service was efficient and attentive. Great decor and comfortable seating. My only gripe is out of the small choice of starters and desserts I found both of what I tried to order not available which was annoying. So I went without either which was equally my loss as much as theirs.
