Lovely place to eat your breakfast and not only very friendly staff and helpful. As a delivery pick up restaurant 5-10 minutes waiting time which is good.

Arrived an hour late and cold.

Ordered at around 11:45, got the delivery at 1:15. We work 10 minutes away, really not happy.

I would never normally moan about cosy cafe I always go there for food and it is always amazing but ordering today I got a burger £9 I assumed it come with chips for that price and when my order come just a burger, I cannot believe you are charging £9 for a burger on its own when in the shop i could buy 2 burgers for that price. If I realised that £9 was just for a burger on its own I would have ordered a full English breakfast which is not much more money and more food!

There's a lot of things I believe makes a good cafe, the customer service, the atmosphere, the cleanliness and the food. The cosy cafe was excellent in all these aspects and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend cosy cafe to everyone.

Order multiple times from this place there chicken pie is the nuts , good quality food, they sent me the wrong food out today and I phone them they was that no problem we've already got another driver onway with your order and you can keep the food we've already delivered free of charge , very polite and friendly staff and what good service 😀 👍 😉 😄 will keep the orders regular

Wow... Just popped in for a malteaser milkshake and it is amazing!! The ratio of malteasers to ice cream is out of this world... I'll definitely be back soon!!

A Great Cafe, we always visit Cosy Cafe when I visit my Mum in Benfleet, very friendly staff that make you feel welcome, and a great menu. The main attraction for me is the multiple choices for 'All Day Breakfasts' there are 6 preset Breakfasts which they allow you to swop one item, or you can design your own 4 or 5 item Breakfast. And then add items to that as well. There is also many other dishes in their extensive menu, definitely worth a pop in if your near or heading through Tarpots Benfleet ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Usually eat in at this cafe but the wife is visiting relatives couldn’t be bothered driving down to the cafe. The food arrived piping hot and delicious as usual 5 star all the way.

I have ordered from here a few times and never had a problem but today I had custard leak over the whole of my order, they also did not give me the breakfast Tea and 2 children’s fruit shoot drinks with my order. As I say normally I don’t have a problem but this time was a bit frustrating. Food was lovely though as always

Come up and said it had been delivered but it didn’t say her watching the driver obviously not be able to figure out how to get to my house even though I put it in the information bit then when he was driving about it popped up that it had been delivered when it wasn’t

I had the lamb and beef roast dinner both meats were very dry and the roast potatoes I had to put in air fryer to crisp up the Yorkshire puddings were very greasy

Popped in with some friends, January 1st for a spot of breakfast , there was four of us , just wanted to say that the eggs were stone cold , ain’t they the last thing to be cooked ? . When I went up to pay the bill which was £40 , I told the young girl at the till , got no response, no refund , and she didn’t care one bit it seemed. So another customer that won’t be going bck .

Cafe was average with average service. Owner was arrogant and would not swop any items on the set breakfast. Not wonder their previous left and set up Poppies cafe opposite. Would not be going back there ever.

First time visiting this cafe and we were very impressed. Had breakfast, cappuccinos and fruit smoothies. Food was hot and tasty, coffees were great and hot too, cappuccinos elsewhere are usual lukewarm. Relaxed atmosphere and pleasant staff. Would definitely recommend and would visit again, if in the area.

my boyfriend and I come here everyday and it’s so nice. i absolutely the onion rings and they’re so much value for money. they use real heinz and hp sauce as well unlike that other one in tarpots. very clean and friendly staff. would recommend 100%

The experience from the cafe itself was friendly and amazing. The poor service came from JustEat itself where the drivers just took ages to turn up and customer service from JustEat just extremly poor.

Ordered 2 roast dinners 1 lamb and 1 chicken, usually very good but this time 1 dish came without any mash potatoes and the other one came with 2 very small white roast potatoes not cooked properly very disappointing

This is my new favourite place the food is absolutely perfect if I could rate it more stars I would but there's no option for that. This place seems to go out of their way for you to keep customers happy absolutely perfect place perfect food all-round top package couldn't ask for more

Went into Cosy cafe Benfleet today.was shocked at the price of a tea cake £3.20 each.my son had already ordered and paid otherwise I would have just walked out. Won’t be going in there again.

Really really lovely food, but there’s nothing worse than when cafes fills up HP sauce and Heinz bottles with fake sauce and you ruin a good breakfast putting it on, it the sauce wasn’t fake it would be 5 star plus

Just visited Cosy Cafe at Tarpots with a thoroughly satisfying experience. Very polite waitresses and prompt service. We sat fairly close to the door which wasn't a good idea as it was really cold every time the door opened but soon warmed up again, anyway that was our own fault 🙄. The prices are really good and the portion sizes are fantastic. We ordered 2 full breakfasts and we both agreed that the food could have been a bit hotter. It was really busy with people being turned away as it was full, so it shows it's a very popular place. We would definitely return & would recommend this place to others. 👍🙂 Just returned to Cosy Cafe for a late lunch. Staff fantastic, service brilliant, food served mega fast, piping hot on this visit and super tasty. We loved the whole experience and I can personally recommend the Cookie Dough & ice cream for dessert 🤩😛

The food itself was nice however delivery time was not great. The owners keep sayings it’s JustEat fault in the review comments as they are the drivers however the driver was waiting at the cafe for a good 30 minutes for the food to be ready.

Very disappointed the restaurant kept changing the delivery time and ended up waiting over an hour for my order, that arrived luke warm.

We enjoy going having a coffee and a tea cake mostly. We have also have enjoyed having a lunch meal. The food is nice, good size portions and the staff friendly.

My son and his partner took us in for a lunch the food was excellent the service was second too none and the staff couldn't have been more freindly and helpful

It said it had been delivered but I haven’t received any delivery yet, the driver has obviously delivered it to the wrong address, theses drivers are useless!

My first time after visits from my wife. Very friendly greeting by the staff, nice gent took our drinks order for the two of us. Extensive menu so I had problems what to choose ending with Shepard's pie with chips and beans keeping it simple for my first meal. My cup of coffee was full to the brim, piping hot and delicious. Excellent portions for my meal and very tasty and a good choice. Highly recommended. We arrived at 3.00pm knowing that an hour earlier we might have had to wait for a table.

Great café with excellent service.

Delivery time did get later than when originally placed the order, however I know this isn’t down to the restaurant. I do however find the food is overpriced for what you receive. £2.43 for a cheap tasting sausage? Also the prawns in the sandwich were very small and chewy. Panini were ok.

Main breakfast was missing the sausage

We had stayed with family after a night at Basildon theatre watching an excellent performance of Grease by the RARE Youth Theatre Group. So we decided to wander into Benfleet for Sunday breakfast at a cafe that none of the family had been to before. Service was welcoming and we managed to make a table for 7 even though there was a reservation sign on the next table. A good mug of tea came swiftly and the kids milkshakes (a Snickers and a Nutella) were apparently fantastic!! The varying breakfasts offered were very good, omelettes excellent, and the Chefs special brekky very good. Lots of toast for the table and a complimentary bowl of chips too!! It turned out that the reservation at the next table had been made by the other half of the family which arrived not long after us, which was a big and happy surprise. Overall, the staff were excellent, food hot, tasty and cooked spot on. Certainly one of the best cafes we have found in the Southend area. Parking was easily available in the Aldi car park (1 1/2 hours free), and yes, we did do an quick shop as well.
