Cosy Cafe in Wiltshire

Went to cosy club in Salisbury 2nd November, there were 8 of us. My sister has an allergy against garlic. We spoke to the manager asking for help with the menu and asking chef what dishes would be safe. Manager would not help, and would not ask chef. Was unhelpful and rude, referring to one of my sister's as love. Will never go there again, and I would advice anyone with an allergy not on the list to avoid this place like like the plaque, or risk having an allergic reaction.

DO NOT EAT HERE. 8 family members on a night out in Salisbury, one of them cannot have anything with garlic, as soon as we were seated we asked the waiter could he ask the chef if certain dishes contained garlic we were informed that we could not ask the chef, think the cosy club needs to retrain their staff from the manager down, he was not only rude but obviously does not have any customer service skills and doesn't understand the dangers of somebody eating something their allergic to. I Strongly suggest the Manager visit the New Inn along from them for some Customer Service tips.

Absolutely disgusted with Cosy Club in Salisbury. When asking for information on certain ingredients in the dishes, the actual manager informed us, due to protocol he could not ask the chef if there was garlic in certain dishes. Well what a load of rubbish I think he will find that legally due to allergies each dish should have a list of all ingredients. Stay well clear of Cosy Club if this is their approach to life and death information.

It was good. I enjoyed my breakfast. We went for a family birthday and it was very very fun. My egg and toast and beans were delicious.

Visited for a last minute lunch. We are a family of 4 and we sent back 3 out of the four meals as they were cold and the children’s cheese burger did not have cheese in it. This is the 3rd time I’ve eaten here and the 3rd time I’ve sent food back. Now the draught beer is sour as they don’t obviously clean their lines properly. Will not be eating OR drinking here again.

Yesterday, I had the most delicious lunch with my daughter at the Cosy Club in Salisbury. It was a birthday celebration. My daughter is vegan, and I'm vegetarian. My daughter commented that the vegan burger was surprisingly delicious. My lunch was equally tasty and very flavoursome. We had our six-month-old puppy with us and were made to feel very welcome. Harvey was our server and extremely accommodating of our needs, even offering to provide our puppy with fresh water. I will definitely be visiting the Cosy Club more often.

We walked all over Salisbury this afternoon, trying to find a dining option. After Stonehenge, our feet were sore our backs were sore. We just needed to sit down. We went to couple restaurants that said their kitchens were closed until 5 o’clock then we were referred to the Cosy Club. We were welcomed and seated by Harvey. I knew i’d lucked out when he asked if I enjoyed ales & ciders. After a brief exchange, he kindly brought over a few “tastes”. Having decided on a masterful cider, our food order was taken by a young lady who must’ve gotten off duty; ‘cuz the next we saw of her was her backside heading out the door. Fortunately, Harvey continued to offer tremendous service, being attentive, without being bothersome. As I took my check toward the bar; I noticed a gorgeous young lady giving him a brief kiss. I jokingly said, “ Cut the kissin’ and take my money.” He told me it wuz his Mum… yeah right. Our meal was delicious; but, made even more memorable by this terrific bartender/server! If our travels, again, bring us back to this region of Britain; we will definitely return to the Cosy Club, in Salisbury‼️

I don’t like it when I have to give a bad review, but here it is. I visited for bottomless brunch. The service was very slow. I was waiting for 20 minutes or more with an empty glass of booze. The idea of bottomless brunch is to feel a little tipsy. I just felt annoyed that they never came around to top up. They should have just brought a bottle of Prosecco around to top up but would take the whole glass, I walked out still sober. I don’t recommend!

Waited over 45 minutes for a chicken, bacon and avocado salad, when it arrived it was smaller than a side salad with literally two shards of bacon. Will not be returning.

Excellent cocktail lounge and a secret panelled dining room, with an outdoor area. Continental cuisine with a Spanish theme. Super wines and inventive cocktails.

Been here many times, everytime was a excellent experiance, lunch has always been tasty, staff always professional, i would say that the food quality is definatly above average and i recommend to anyone.

I was invited to return to the Cosy Club after a not-so-great experience previously. In short, my faith has been restored. The staff proactively addressed my previous concerns and ensured my dining experience this time was exceptional. Everything exceeded my expectations, from the service to the food quality. I enjoyed the ravioli with black truffle. I also appreciated the genuine nature of the staff and their kindness when I talked about my previous visit. It's always commendable when a company goes out of its way to rectify a situation. Thank you, Cosy Club.

Great building with fab furnishings. Lovely atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Extensive choice on menu - something for all tastes. Food was delicious and very beautifully presented. Some wines are on the pricey side but of excellent quality. Enjoyed Cosy Club Coventry last year and this was even better.

We have visited regularly being local to Salisbury, but I think we’ve done it for the last time. There was a large stag party on a table near to us which meant the service could be described at best as slow. After chasing our order up after 45 mins, we were told it was just coming, but still took another 10 minutes, and when it did come one main meal was nearly cold. I didn’t send this back as I had no clue how much longer food would take. Everytime we wanted more drinks we had to find staff to serve us, and whilst apologetic about the cold meal, it really spoilt a family dinner celebrating the end of 3 hard years at uni.

Salisbury dies a bit of a death on a Sunday evening - so we were out looking for somewhere nice for an early evening meal. I had visioned us sitting in a nice cool courtyard somewhere - it was a warm evening - with a good ambience, good drink selection and nice food. The Cosy Club hit the mark on all these. The food was prompt and very tasty - not to say, in our opinion, good value for money. The ambience is spot on for sure. Only quibble we had - £18 for a large Pinot Grigio and a pint of IPA. I did a double take but said nothing and went with it - not disappointed by the whole experience for sure - and would definitely recommend the Cosy Club, but mind your wallet when it comes to the drinks..!

Excellent food. Recommend the club sandwich or the cheddar and leek bake. Both delicious. The service was also quite good.

I dined at Cosy Club tonight with a friend and was disappointed with the meal experience. I made a mistake in ordering a dish with something I couldn't eat, but when I informed the waiter, I was told they could only offer me another meal at full cost. While I appreciate the staff's politeness and attentiveness, I was let down by the lack of flexibility in resolving the issue. My friend had her meal, and I had a glass of wine and a bill for food I couldn't eat! Though my mistake, this incident has left a negative impression on both my friend and me. A more customer-focused approach could have turned this into a positive experience, and I will likely go elsewhere in the future.

We like the cosy club, but I must admit how surprised I was that it wasn't busy. As usual, the food was very good and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. We both had the Cosy club (comes with fries), I had my streaky bacon on the side and the food was delicious. We both had a soft drink and a latte. It would be really good, if on the menu was offered a hot drink with a mini dessert, most want a sweet treat but don't want a whole portion. I would definitely recommend 🙂.

Excellent costumer service, we went to have lunch after our wedding and they gave us a bottle of champagne as a gift. The food was absolutely delicious and the menu had quite a few options. Great great place! Toilets clean, the whole place has a nice environment and decoration.

We had an incredible Mother's Day lunch experience at The Cosy Club. After reading rave reviews on TripAdvisor, we booked our table two weeks in advance, and boy, were we glad we did! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a vibrant atmosphere filled with captivating decor and lively chatter. The host promptly led us to our table upstairs, where we were greeted with a spacious and luminous dining area. The menu offered an array of tantalising options and we were pleased with every dish we ordered. Each bite brought smiles to our faces and we left feeling thoroughly satisfied. Overall, The Cosy Club exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return for another memorable dining experience! Highly recommended for any occasion!

We hadn't been to The Cozy Club in a while, but following on from reading a review in the Salisbury Journal booked a table for lunch. We were so pleased to see that Charlotte is still working there. She is an amazing asset to the business, charming, helpful in every way and makes every effort to make customers feel welcome. The food was great too. Thank you.

We had never been before but the couple we were with had been a few times. The club/pub consists of several large rooms spread over 2 floors and is much larger than it appears from the outside. We all had 3 courses washed down with a bottle of Cab Sav and cost around £45 a head. We were there mid-week, it was not full but very busy. Service was very good as was the food. Recommended.

An atmospheric restaurant with excellent, reasonably priced food. Teddy deserves a special shout-out for his friendly and efficient service.

We came in for a lunch, as we just found out so bad news and I wanted to cheer us both up. We were waiting to be seen by the front booth for about 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We were then told the only seat for food we could have was a couple of stools around the bar, because the main section was full. Even though there were plenty of seats, and upstairs was completely empty. We were treated so badly, and the wait time on our food took around 45 minutes, after ordering from the bar. The couple who came in after us, who presented themselves in Schofells etc, got seen to straight away and whisked to the main seating area. One of the staff took their lunch break on the largest table in the front, so no more larger family’s could sit etc and overall was a really bad experience. This isn’t a cheap meal for us, as we don’t earn a lot, so it was a very exciting meal we were looking forward to, which got truly spoilt. Told the waiter before we left, just to give the heads up about it all. Absolutely gutted.

Sunday night in Salsbury, choice is limited. But this was a great find and very much enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Staff were great and good value. Will be back.

Friday evening meal with a group. Food was variable and nothing particularly special. Thank goodness for the company of our group and staff were great too. Lovely venue but very noisy. Nobody seems to design restaurants around acoustics. I cannot believe I paid £34 for one veggie course and a large plus a medium glass of wine (plus service! ) A friend had chicken and avocado salad and was served a plate of rocket plus tiny pieces of chicken/avocado. Another had the duck cassoulet but also left hungry after a tiny portion of beans. Better value meals are to be had in central London in my experience. There’s more competition there I suppose. Finding somewhere decent to eat in Salisbury is very difficult. Too many chain restaurants serving microwaveable standard meals dominatie. Sadly a lack of competition and independents I suppose.

We came for breakfast and it was great! All the food was cooked to perfection apart from my partners fried egg which could’ve been runnier but honestly nothing to knock down my rating. The scrambled eggs and hash browns were the standouts for me! We both had the classic breakfast and were very impressed - our new go to breakfast spot. The lovely lady who took us to our table and our waitress were great and very sweet. The staff are always friendly when we come! Atmosphere was great and we left very happy. Definitely recommend.

Having been let down by Zizzi who told us they didn't have our table booking, despite my father booking 6 weeks ago, we spent 10 minutes ringing around other restaurants in Salisbury. Cosy Club saved the day! They managed to squeeze us onto a table and serve us promptly to enable us to get to the pantomime. Customer service was brilliant - the front of house and table staff couldn't have done more ( a complete opposite to Zizzi staff). The food was delicious. So glad we spent our money with Cosy Club rather than Zizzi, and we'd definitely return. Thank you for saving the evening.

Dined here to celebrate a double birthday with family. Christmas menu's were fab with food to suit every palate, clean plates all around. The staff were amazing, very accommodating at resolving any issues quickly and brilliantly

Mi primera visita a la acogedora cafetería recomendada por mis colegas - al parecer puede estar bastante ocupada, pero al ser justo después de Navidad y a mitad de semana, fue bastante tranquila y fácil conseguir una mesa.El servicio fue muy bueno, el equilibrio correcto de atención, pero no exagerado, así que pudimos pedir bebidas y comida y comer a nuestro propio ritmo y luego terminar la noche sin esperar.La comida era buena, una variedad de opciones para adaptarse a un paladar variado. Elegí el pescado que estaba bien cocinado y dispuesto en una sabrosa cama.

Hemos estado aquí unas cuantas veces. Gran ambiente y un buen menú, además, es muy fácil llegar a él una vez en la ciudad. El único problema es la espera para ser atendido. preparar café y cócteles especiales lleva mucho tiempo y si solo hay una o dos personas detrás del bar, ¡puede que esté esperando más de diez minutos para tomar una copa!

El personal era muy amable y servicial.La comida en el menú fue una gran elección para todos. Había 4 en nuestro grupo y todos tenían diferentes, todas buenas raciones y sabroso.Mi única crítica fue que los precios eran un poco caros y las bebidas también eran altos precios.Volvería a visitar si en el área, pero no se iría para otra comida como otros grandes restaurantes en el área.

Beautiful outside seating ,but service is slow and it is bit more expensive then most restaurants in the area.

Reservamos todo el piso de arriba en el Cozy Club para celebrar el quincuagésimo aniversario de nuestra salida de la escuela Gillingham en 1968. En total, había alrededor de treinta de nosotros y nuestra generación escolar comenzó a llegar al mediodía. El joven que fue asignado para cuidarnos no podría haber sido más útil. A cada uno de nosotros se nos asignó una "pestaña" por apellido, que fue extremadamente útil al final del evento al establecernos. Las bebidas fueron servidas rápidamente y las comidas que pedimos llegaron rápidamente, ¡incluso lanzaron el entrante! La tarde pareció pasar en un instante, y alrededor de las 6 pm algunas de nosotras más fuertes aludimos al bar de la planta baja para continuar recordando.El interior era interesante en un estilo shabby chic y era perfecto para nuestras necesidades. Hubo muchos comentarios positivos sobre nuestra elección del lugar y el servicio que recibimos. Nos quedamos encantados con el servicio que nos dieron y tenemos la intención de celebrar futuras reuniones allí. El ambiente fue relajado pero eficiente. Recomiendo encarecidamente el Cozy Club a cualquiera que quiera un lugar especial para un pequeño evento. ¡Usted no será decepcionado!

Unexpectedly arrived for our Christmas party. Wow was really impressed. Relaxed atmosphere, lovely staff, great food. Definitely coming here again, thanks to Dana from Goodfayre for the recommendation for a place to eat vegan food

If you're down with the kids and your hearing is perfect, go here; otherwise don't! It is a huge room with a high ceiling, and therefore very noisy (or sociable depending on your point of view!).

Parecía un lugar realmente interesante, así que fuimos a tomar un café, etc. lleno de expectativas. Se le pide que espere para ser sentado, pero a pesar de que el lugar estaba a la mitad, se tardó de 3 a 4 minutos en saludarnos y sentarnos.Luego esperamos años para que alguien viniera y tomara nuestra orden solo para que nos dijeran que había que pedir algo en el bar, pero nadie se había molestado en decirnos eso cuando llegamos. If you are in Salisbury, you won't find a place much better than this little place. The wait staff take care of you at your table, brought us a complimentary jug of water with ice which was a nice touch on such a hot day. Gorgeous little spot dog friendly.

Its buzzy and fun, with relaxed good service and cosy place to hang out and people watch. We go after theatre (the afternoon performance) and love it.

The main bar/seating area is fun and comfortable with sofas, etc. and the barista drinks are good. the restaurant is OK, but there are many better in town.

Fabulous place and a great family favourite for brunch, lunch, drinks and dinner. Very family friendly in the day but a popular middle class hangout for cocktails and dinner in the evening

This is the first time I have eaten in Cosy Club. We were there for a lunch with three generations of the family. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and the food was lovely. We were able to relax and chat without feeling rushed.As we were alarmed party, we had to choose off the restricted party menu. There was a selection of tapas to start and we filled up on those before we started on the main course. All the food was good and tasty and we would definitely go back there. Thank you to all the staff involved both in the booking and on the day.

The ambience in the Cosy Club is amazingly relaxed and there are a variety of styles of tables and chairs to enable coffee and gateau thru full dining. I can recommend the oriental beef, but beware, don't eat all of the chillies or you will require a fire extinguisher!

Welcoming staff. A good meeting point to see friends whether it be for morning coffee, afternoon tea / coffee and cake, drinks or a meal.

we found this venue earlier in the year [2014] and have visited here numerous times as a couple and now with other family members. whether you just want a coffee, glass of wine, snack or meal you will NOT be disappointed. the staff are really helpful and the décor and surroundings are really relaxed and you will leave you totally chilled out. just walk in look around and YOU WILL not be disappointed and will want to stay.

A very relaxing and mellow place for a drink and a chat. I went midweek so may be different at weekends - but overall I found it a great place to meet friends

I'm not sure where the word 'Cosy' came from because this place is painted in ghastly green, most unpleasant and singularly un-cosy. The room itself is wonderfully proportioned but the décor is simply dreadful. In view of all the other interesting places in Salisbury, this one is ready for a complete make over, and the sooner the better.Had coffee and toasted tea cake, which was okay but nothing to make it stand out from anywhere else in the area.You have a wonderful venue, including the outside garden so do something amazing with it. Would I visit again - probably not when I can spend my money in a more acceptable environment elsewhere.

4 of us went to cosy club for a business meal and got to say food was perfect but just shame can't be said same about the waitress, we had a polish girl thats english was not that perfect and she was more concerned about her looks and some young guys at another table, this is your job not a nightclub to pull guys, with so many people looking for work surely you can do better than that for waitress service that can talk good english for 1 as she really lets the team down after all the good hard work the chefs have put in, we will be going back but will be walking straight out again if the service is by this female again, very poor indeed

I like this place. We regularly have breakfasts here: a little expensive but very good quality and variety. The mains are also good quality, tasty food.It has a nice atmosphere with relaxed café style seating to a restaurant area and a really nice garden in the sunshine. Service is usually good. Basically, it is a good staple restaurant and we do come eat here regularly, bring our friends for breakfast or a relaxed lunch!
