Highly recommend this place, food is always to a good standard, served really fast and value for money - not much more you can ask for from a restaurant.

First time coming here and I must say I was impressed as soon as I got to the door, the bald Italian gentlemen with a fantastic greeting straightaway and then through my visit the customer service was excellent and very friendly, the venue is perfect and the food is beautiful. And then to make things even better my daughter got offered a mix up which she gladly took. I look forward to my next visit

Went to Cassia for a meal while in Newcastle for a training course. Saw the weekday 3 course lunch offer from 11:00 - 17:00 for £8.90. In all honesty, for that price I wasn't expecting much. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. The service from the moment I arrived until I left was fantastic. The food, the garlic bread was light and perfectly cooked, the Carbonara was again perfectly cooked, full of flavour and there was plenty of bacon in there too. I don't normally write reviews, so the fact I have taken this time to write a positive one for Cassia shows just how much I really enjoyed my meal and my visit. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again. To Cassia, thank you for the great food and fantastic service.

plenty of choice, plenty of drinks. was a loud chavvy family in smoking on the entrance but that's not the restaurants fault.

Arrived early by about 20 minutes, two men greeted us, big guy grey short hair and another man, skinny, pot belly & turkey teeth, I said sorry we came early and joked my wife is never early, he replied (twice) you always come early but not your wife and winked at me, this was in front of my 80 year old mother in law and my eight year old grandson. I let it go, thought it was totally in appropriate. We sat down, food was fine, all you could hear was his big mouth, he served a table of young girls on the next table, he made lewd and rude comments to them, like next time you want mayo come and see me, obviously thinks he’s some sort of blue comedian in a 70’s working men’s club. I travel to Newcastle several times a year and won’t be going here again.

Been here at tea time after happy hour and prices still ok. Food was really nice chicken nuggets fantastic for kids and all adult meals big portions and well worth the money. Service and atmosphere was great I tried to leave tip but can't by paying with card which I will know for next time when we go back to try Sunday lunch as we were to late for it today.

Had a impromptu meal with a family friend (50th birthday) made to feel special from all staff bar man is a asset as well as the wonderful girls serving us delicious food thanks for making it special!

Out with friends 13 of us . Food lovely but disappointed by smell of weed that was coming from kitchen or back entrance . When asked by a female me.ber of staff she was quick to blame a table of 4 lads who were sitting near door, they never once went outside, so it wasn't them She was quite blunt in her reply, I would not stand for that if it hadn't been a works do The thing was as soon as we complained we couldn't smell it anymore Need to sort there selves out as she was clearly talking about us to other staff

Amazing time again, i dont often give reviews but the team deserve this. Booking of 13, every meal came Out together and honest it was service with a smile. Asking if all was ok was actually a genuine question not like others ticking a box. Mr Mark as i walked passed i knew i was getting a happy birthday was special. I thank you all. The kids loved it. Save your money, what a dump. Toilets are disgusting. Paint flaking off walls & food on the walls - The manager had the worst attitude, clearly annoyed he had to take the order as his staff were busy - then rude when we left. It’s not cheap average £12.90 per main - I felt like I needed a shower after I left & wish I had kit taken my family.

Lovely food, came really quickly & was hot! Definitely go again & want to try the Sunday lunch! The only slight niggle & it’s not the food is we felt a little bit rushed to order food, the waitresses kept asking if we were ready when looking at the menu, other than that really lovely

First time trying this place for date night and the food did was lovely! We ordered the steak which was huge and a huge bowl of pasta. The only problem we sat under a speaker and the music was a little loud but it did not put us off. Will definitly be returning

Staff where absolutely amazing, very quick service and listened to allergy requirements. I was amazed by the food that we ordered, everything was presented well. Visited bank holiday Monday 26th August. Food was amazing, good value for money. Carbonara was absolutely gorgeous, fantastic service all round, staff was so friendly. Definitely would recommend.

What a wonderful Restaurant is Cassia Silverlink. Food is beautifully cooked and mouth watering and a fantastic selection. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our visit to this Restaurant with friends was so lovely if we are up this way again we certainly will call in. Excellent.

Italian that does Sunday lunch carvery style, huge Yorkshire puddings, lovely sausage chipolata with Sunday lunch. Decent size , booth seating a little cramped but manageable. Good drinks selection of beers, Very reasonable Sunday and weekday lunch specials, best to book if looking for lunchtime, by 2 ish it's much more quiet.

Like many of the other reviews - don’t go if you want a relaxing experience. We felt incredibly rushed and as though staff couldn’t wait to get us out the door - despite several other tables being empty. Similar to other reviews, for this reason we would not return.

First visit to Cassia today following a visit to Odeon. Great early 3 course menu at very reasonable price. There were plenty of main options and the portions were large and very tasty, lovely red wine. Large, comfortable and clean buzzing surroundings with excellent attentive staff and service - would deffo recommend and return x

We went for Sunday lunch without booking a table, as soon as we walked in the door nothing was too much trouble. We were shown straight to a table and served really quickly by the lovely staff. The service was fantastic and there were plenty of staff around. Even though it had just opened it was busy already which was a good sign. Food was great. Would definitely go again.

Lovely food, the goats cheese pizza was amazing. We told them we didn't have very much time as we had a cinema booking and they bent over backwards to serve us quickly even though they were extremely busy. Great service.

We’ve been here to dine in and also had takeaway many times now and love it. The food is always fantastic, pizzas are amazing; my husband usually has 2 fillet steaks which are superb - great size, lovely cut of meat and perfectly cooked. A great cocktail menu and amazing desserts. The staff always look after us, very friendly and welcoming. And of course, the prices are a bonus. Highly recommended!

Up in Newcastle for work and stayed down the road from here over the weekend. Came here as it was close. Omg I was so taken back it is amazing. The food is amazing. Amazing steak, full of flavour and extreamly good value for the price. One of the best steaks I have eaten. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. They made me feel very welcome despite only being a table for one. I even stayed further away over the past couple of days and ended up driving all the way back here just to have the meal again. One to add to the list as a must visit. Well done guys keep up the good work.

We arrived as a party of 10 for my granddaughters 13 th birthday .The man at the reception was rude i said my name for the booking and he just said wait over there ...ok no problem .When we were taken to our table it was 2 different sized small tables stuck on the end of a booth .The starters came they wern't bad garlic bread and potato skins what could go wrong .Main course one of my sons ordered fillet steak medium it came rare so had to go back by the time the second one came the rest of us had finished eating ..second steak was awful like rubber how can you not cook a fillet steak .My other son and daughter inlaw went outside to smoke before we ordered desert and all of a sudden the waiters started to move there chairs swapped two chairs for a portable booth and took my husbands chair away he had only gone to the loo i said hey someone is sitting there the waiter replied yes but we have a 40th birthday party coming in we need these chairs you'll have to make do......never again will any of us set foot in here again .My grandaughter was in tears and everyone else was foaming no thanks .

Lovely place, went in December, for my nieces 21st for the 1st time, I was back again in Feb, great staff, great prices, amazing food, 2 cocktails for a tenner, the food is beautiful, I'll be back again soon as my partners never been so I can see a another visit on cards in next couple of wks xx

Although food was enjoyable, we were in the building for a total of 48 minutes, ordered starters and mains, didn’t get asked about desserts and got rushed out by who I’m assuming was the manager/ host while still sat with full pints. Service was mediocre, got drinks orders messed up

It's lovely food, very cheap and good quality. The service was great. Just very loud, lots of younger families with multiple kids so the noise levels aren't the best. Would recommend!

Staff were fast paced rushing past. Asking if we needed drinks too early. Bringing our bill and asking us to pay while we were still finishing our drinks. They make you feel like you have to just get in eat and get straight out. Not going back.

I have visited on many occasions I have never been disappointed, However today the Sunday carvery was outstanding everything perfectly cooked and delicious thank you so much

Excellent food and great service.

Spent £40 food, was nice but felt very rushed from start to finish. Waiter tried to take the starter away as my niece was still eating and she ended up saying just take it. So annoying. And very very rude to do that. The bill had been on the table less than 1 second and the girl was there with the card machine. We hadn’t even looked at the bill. It wasn’t even half full in there so it’s not like they were in need of the table. Won’t be going back. !!!

Happy to accommodate adults with small appetites by offering small portions or choice from children's menu which includes pizza and pasta dishes. It was just after opening time when we arrived and restaurant was very quiet, but it soon became busy. Many of the customers had obviously been before, so they were obviously with food and service. My carbonara (small portion) was a bit too salty, but I was told I should have mentioned it and it would have been replaced.

Had a lovely meal at Cassia. The daily special is fantastic value for money. Perfect pizza, fantastic friendly staff. Very clean restaurant, would definitely recommend a visit if ever you're at Silverlink.

Food came quickly and very good. I had the fillet steak. Quite noisy though.

Everything was perfect. The food was amazing as always. The staff are really good and you don't have to wait long for anything. We always enjoy our time at Cassia.

To be honest, it felt a bit like walking into a JD Sports instead of an Italian restaurant. Food was very average too. Wouldn't return.

Really love Cassia, one of the nicest Italian restaurants out there. The restaurant is always spotless, the food is full of flavour and you always feel looked after. Lunchtime meal deal is impressive and you always leave feeling full. Desserts are awesome also. Proper buff waiters too which is a nice touch 👌

The highlight of this place appears to be its value if you chose one of its set menus. We opted to share a starter which was nice and plentiful. Before then taking on their supposedly specialist wraps, perhaps I didn’t chose well but it was far more quantity over quality. The chicken was dry, the whole wrap lacked seasoning and no amount of the dipping sauce provided could improve things. Staff were friendly and service quick so I would return to try other things on the menu in the hope of a better experience

Went for an impromptu lunch the other day. The staff were so lovely with my 2 year old, they made lots of effort to interact with him and make him smile - in particular a lovely guy called Iman (apologies if I've spelled that incorrectly) The food was very reasonably priced and was very nice. I'd definitely return.

Excellent staff, very attentive, actually sometimes a little too quick (asking for drinks within seconds of sitting down) but no big deal. Wasn't sure what quality to expect and was pleasantly surprised! Seafood, carbonara, pizza, Napoli, chunky chips, all very very good. Had a fabulous meal. The only things letting it down slightly are the tired decor (old Franky & Benny's without improvement) and the thumping music which was simply just the bass (the seating area is open plan to the kitchens and although not loud it does make conversation difficult with the thumping music). Despite that, family all had a great meal, kids were very happy, we'll definitely be back when in the area again. Great place!

I take my mother shopping and this is the 3rd time we have came here for lunch and I felt I have to do a review, from entering the restaurant to leaving the service and the food is excellent, previous times I have not had the lunch time offer but today I did and I don’t know how they do it for £8.70, it’s amazing, my palate is not the easiest to please but Cassia has no problem in pleasing it - thank you and we will be back

Amazing food and amazing friendly staff

My friend and i came to your restaurant today ,we were sat down straight away offered drinks , and as we were waiting to order i heard one of the waiters shouting at the young staff orders across the restaurant he was so rude , we couldnt believe it and as we were sitting near kitchen the same waiter’s swearing at the chefs, he should be ashamed, when our lunch came we were lucky if our dish of pasta was enough to fit on a dessert spoon, when i asked the same waiter to speak about the dish he just walked away, my friend and i just got up and walked out, the poor young girls running about like rabbits caught in headlights, how this restaurant has survived is beyond me

shame has it has potential, food wasn't the best but edible, staff were friendly, keen and very enthusiastic, asked for our order three times in the space of five minutes by separate staff. drinks were slammed down and carried without a tray. inside looked tired and there's paint peeling off the wood.

Went in and had food and believe it or not that’s what you go into to do in a restaurant even though the kid did have tight pants on that’s his dress code but end of the day we were there for food not to judge other people’s dress sense.

Think it's digi Monday in there when it's a restaurant, not appropriate for families, if you're a couple under 20 might be up your street. Ignorant blokes front of house on entry, comparing who had the tightest jeans never even bothered to look up too bothered about their awful fit

Worst experience and worst service ever. Had to get someone over as we ordered a pasta to come without bacon as my Fiancée can’t have it as she is vegetarian. It came with bacon still in so they apologised and asked if we’d want another lot or money taken off. After that was sorted out the member of staff went to the end of the restaurant to another member of staff talking about it laughing. Then the member of staff that was laughing about the situation proceeds to gather the rest of the staff and point blank says ‘you know table number 4’ which is our table and then talking to them laughing and joking that we complained with it having meat in the pasta when we clearly asked for it without. It isn’t a joke and isn’t funny at all. The service was shocking and laughing making a joke out of it right near our table is just shocking. Wouldn’t be returning.
