Just a flying visit for a takeaway coffee on a busy Saturday, but what a lovely team. 3 young people who were so friendly, welcoming and polite. Really lifted the place. Well done!

I wonder if there has been a change of staff since the last time I visited. They were much more friendly and more helpful and there were no empty cups, etc left on the tables. My wife even said the coffee tasted much better than the last time.

Avoid, poor staff,drinks half full and given just in takeaway cups without being asked. Very very dirty

There's been an improvement since my last visit 6 months ago. The staff were much more friendlier and the tables were all spick and span, with all dirty implements, cleared away. Now much more conducive to sitting inside and enjoying your drinks and/or snacks. As for the coffee, that was up to the usual good Costa standard.

Called in for a take-away coffee and was glad it was only a take-away because the inside was not conducive to staying. It was noisy and the tables had not been properly cleared. There was seating outside but, on a cold January day, this seating did not really call; better on a warm, sunny day. The coffee was the usual Costa standard and the staff were friendly enough which, as it was a busy lunch time, was good.

Just returned from beautiful Ubud. Stayed at the wonderful Royal Kamuela Monkey Forest. Had a facial and pedicure at the lovely spa on-site. Highly recommend- special experience with the most lovely caring therapists. Definitely worth experiencing.

One of the worst Costas I have ever been to. The shop is freezing cold and the noise from the staff is so loud, it might well have been a children's adventure playground. They have no interest in the comfort of their customers and we will now only visit for a take away. This has been brought to the attention of the manager, but has been ignored.

Arrived at Costa today at 4pm (1 hour before closing) to be told that no blended drinks could be made due to the time I had entered. When ordering I ordered a regular iced latte and a regular peach iced tea. After paying for this the lady called for 2 small drinks, when asked about this the staff member was incredibly rude and snapped ‘We only have small cups left, so that’s what you were charged for’, it would have been nice to be informed of this when ordering. I was then told the small would be fine for me and very patronisingly told ‘you’ll cope with a small’. When waiting for our drinks myself and my fiancé heard the same staff member telling another customer that she couldn’t wait for the day to end as she was sick of dealing with ‘difficult customers’, before quite deliberately looking at where we were sat. A really disgraceful experience all round. I’ll not be visiting this store again and would advise others to do likewise.

This branch is always filthy! If you look at the windowsills and floors you will see exactly what I mean! I drew a line in the dust and when I went back 2 weeks later it was still there! The staff are very irritating especially one who never shuts up and she obviously likes to be heard! The opening hours are constantly changing so you never know if they are going to be open, and they constantly stick sorry had to close early signs on door! I have been a loyal Costa customer for many years, but this branch and the fact that our local one closes at 5 (right when folks leave work!!!) Has pushed me in the direction of Starbucks who are far more professional iny opinion.

Trying to have a quiet coffee. Very loud staff playing about. Music too loud. No discipline from management. Not coming too often. Not an enjoyable visit.

It might be my imagination but the coffee seemed to taste better this time than it did last time. Perhaps it was just that I was ready for it. Friendly staff and a good choice of snacks. Just what you need when shopping.

Always happy smiling chatter staff - even with the special measures in place - abs even when busy always take the time to chat to you. Best Costa around.

This Costa establishment is Covid safe (masks must be worn, hand sanitiser is availabkle, one way system in operation, contactless paying and outdoor seating) but the coffee was only average tasting and not as good as the coffee I have had in other Costa establishments. The staff, however, were friendly enough.

Called here for afternoon coffees. We had cappuccino & lattes .My cappuccino was certainly not as tasty as other Costa branches-just Ok!

Was served by a lady with brown hair called Marina, she was huffing and sighing whilst we were making our order and when we asked if we could pay separately after we didn’t ask to pay together she started giving us horrible looks. Will not be returning staff here make it very clear they don’t want to be working. Didn’t even cut the toastie in half and made it seem as if us ordering was an inconvenience

Visited here today to grab a drink with a friend while waiting for my car to have it's MOT. Went into the shop, saw a 'frostino' on the menu, not knowing what this was (not a strange question I would have thought), I asked the tall dark haired man working behind the counter who informed me they had no ice so they were only doing hot drinks. Communication was difficult whilst wearing a mask and trying to speak through a sheet of perspex on top of the background noises of a busy cafe, but my friend & I were trying our best to hear and speak clearly. The fact that there were no cold drinks threw us off our decision making and made us take slightly longer to decide, but the increase in time it took us to make our decision did not justify the reaction that was given by the man serving us. He looked so frustrated by the extra minute it took for us to decide on drinks that he leant his head down on the counter looking quite stressed and then brought his head up, looked at his colleague rolling his eyes, laughing at us. This man didn't realise that my friend & I were paying together, so as he was losing his patience, she was trying to place her order with him but he was too focused on making a joke of us so didn't notice she was waiting to tell him what she wanted and was whispering about us to his colleague and complaining about how long we had taken to tell him our order. Anyway, I paid and we left. We both felt this was just really nasty and unnecessary behaviour considering we were at the counter for maybe 3 minutes. Hugely patronising and childish, not to mention unprofessional and a massive overreaction over something so small as we took all in all about 2 minutes to decided what to have. Would not go here again.

It's a bonus to have somewhere to go for a good cup of coffee on a retail park and this Costa Coffee is up to Costa's usual standard. The coffee is good and welcoming and the place is light and airy. Ther's facilities to sit outside (even if the view is only of a car park) but you would need better weather than the day I went.

I have to say that most of the staff I’ve met here seem quite good at doing their job, and a couple of them in particular are friendly, but there is one girl who is like a robot to deal with. I think that I managed to arrive at the counter and make my whole order without her saying anything except just stating the price - no “hello”, no eye-contact, just like I wasn’t even there. Costa need to organise mystery shopper visits by an area manager to pick up on this kind of thing. If people can not be polite, they should not be in the service industry.

A BIG GUY with great attitude has his staff under control but they work with a smile the costa company should make him area manager and get the one in the centre sorted out great coffee cake was good but still think costa should cover them

Atmosphere here is always good.Staff are efficient and very hard-working nothing seems to much trouble for them.I am a costa surfer and this is one of the best to stop at!They are an 'A' Team here.Always clean and coffees delicious!

Stopped off for a cappuccino and a hot chocolate plus a piece of millionaire shortcake and chocolate cornflakes. Great service as usual , was fairly quiet at that time . Thank you .

Just had coffee at Costa and as usual it was very nice and l have no complaints. However today is a special day it being the 100 anniversary of the signing of the armistice to end WW1. We all know what this day represents and it's been all over the news for weeks. Costa or at least this Costa totally ignored the fact. Music continued to blare out and Latte and Cappucino flowed. Nothing.... this despite people standing and observing the 2 min silence. I had to ask a member of staff and he had no idea what l was talking about. Every other major store observes this time as a measure of respect. Costa continually bang on about being British etc... Well not here in Tunbridge Wells. The staff here are multi national but this is no excuse. What were you thinking? Looks like IT will be Starbucks or Nero from now on.

Came to Costa coffee alone, took a soya Latte & a cinnamon brioche bun. The coffee shop was clean and tidy on my arrival, the tables were almost all full. The girls serving were great, welcoming and friendly. I wasn’t left waiting at all. During my visit, the tables were beginning to empty but no one was clearing.. this seems to be the case in most costa stores however..

Went there today, not been there for ages. First problem on asking for a medium mocha latte, we will charge for a mocha, as we don't have mocha lattes on menu?Charged £3, I think that's what it usually costs? But then got served a mocha, without the latte bit.I always used to buy this drink there, so obviously stopped doing them? It's not on the menu now but when I ask for it they usually make it. The mocha's too strong for me.So won't be going there again, that's the only drink I had there.Second problem is cleanliness. When they clear the tables of previous occupants cups etc. why not CLEAN the table afterwards also? Instead of leaving crumbs, sticky mess on table which I usually clean up with the serviettes. this happens at a lot of places, clear and clean as you go, it's all done in one go.

Given large hot chocolate instead of a regular (which we requested) and when I said sorry we asked for a regular, it’s for our 7 year old, I got a bad look from both barristers & they took it off my tray and put it on the side behind them. I said to save waste and making another she can drink what she can but we need to be charged for a regular. They huffed and puffed and said ‘do you want it or not’ and we just said yes as the que was ridiculous, but was charged large price!!!!!! We spent over £25 in there on food and coffee as well as a large priced hot chocolate for a 7 year old. So rude, service poor and quite frankly miserable staff. Oh, it was cash only too.. card machine not working so couldn’t even get £25 worth of points... (convenient)! The male manager is usually so lovely and I know him well, as I am a regular. Never met these girls that was there today. Won’t be back in a hurry! So disappointing

I have rarely had an iced coffee and never an iced flat white before but tried one here without any sugar and I have to say it was excellent - better in fact than a regular flat white in a Costa. It was plenty strong and the beans used were tasty and not at all bitter.

I’ve always found the staff friendly and efficient here, and today when there was confusion with my bill, the manager (who’s been there a while) sorted it quickly and was apologetic about the mistake made by a new member of staff - we all have to learn. My average rating is therefore aimed at Costa as a company rather than this branch, decor and furnishings in most branches in this area are tired and worn and even if you’ve got good staff, coffee shops with shabby, stained seating isn’t a good look. Costa as a company needs to up its game.

The range of food and drinks here is as you'd expect from any Costa. Everything on display is always well stocked and there is plenty of food to go around. I was quickly served by a barista and drinks were quickly made. It is usually quite busy, so I'd recommend getting someone you're with to 'reserve' a table before ordering.

I’m a self confessed Starbucks fan but even so this trip to Costa was pretty bad. The place seemed dirty and in need of a clean or touch ups. The staff were okay but were very focused on just getting you done and weren’t particularly friendly or welcoming. I wouldn’t go again to be honest, seeing as the wait for a black coffee and heated sandwich was long.

Tardó un poco en llegar la orden. Tenía leche pastel, pan tostado con 4 libras. 85 LO. Lugar estaba sucio, y además tenía una mosca me aterrorizaba constantemente que claramente tenía un buen ojo para mi pastel. Lugar necesita una minuciosa limpieza profunda no es el lugar que quieres para comer.

Llamado para un café y un pastel en ruta a centeno. El acceso un poco extraño que parece temporal pero tengo la sensación de que ha sido así por algún tiempo.

Miserable staff look very bored gave me a cup holder that just broke as soon as i got out of shop my son used to work for costa in town( alledgedly )he said there when the sandwiches are going out of date they re-label them

Qué se puede decir a un precio posiblemente Costa Coffee. La espera fue larga típicamente para un café recién hecho. El personal es un poco más educado que la mayoría. Por suerte poco en el sentido de que la venta. Un poco de bombón mientras espera. Sillas cómodas con una buena mezcla de capacidad firme o relajado. Mesas razonablemente bien limpiado y aclaro por después de uso.

La cola es siempre muy largo. Siempre tienen unos 4 personas que sirve a una persona al mismo tiempo. Nunca una taza llena de café, si una comida para llevar y generalmente cálido; no caliente. La comida es de mala calidad, rancio de degustación.

It's been a while since last here due to moving from the area sad to say nothing has changed for the better , it is from my opinion the dirtiest of all Costa I have visited floor/carpets not clean and grubby papers always out of date and coffee average shame

More froth than hot chocolate. Almond croissant stale. Very disappointed. In house Wifi rubbish, had to turn it off and go onto 4g to write this review lol

picotazo en un café rápido con mi madre y Gran. Ocupado en su momento, pero apenas nos dieron una mesa. Después de esto el servicio era rápido. Tuve un pedazo de granola con mi café con leche, que era precioso.

muy práctico para los animales en casa, el m&s;, homesense y Halfords. Siempre se puede encontrar una excusa para entrar aquí para una choccy Tiffin y caliente. El personal es cortés, pero no es muy agradable. éxitos el lugar cada vez

How totally miserable! Costa Coffee Pembury hospital branch opened 15 minutes late due to staff being late. They kept a terminally ill lady waiting. I suggested it might be nice for them to give her a free coffee. They said they weren't allowed to. Train your staff better!

Had something to eat here and was immediately poorly. What was worse my mother was ill for days and I had a stomach upset until at least Wednesday. Would never eat here again and if I can help it I no longer go to Costa Coffee full stop.

Friendly staff. Tables usually cleared promptly and the place is kept clean and well organised, better than other local Costa shops in my opinion. Good loyalty scheme. Just need all the road networks to be sorted as traffic around the industrial estate can be a nightmare.

Went for a skinny latte. Friendly staff and clean table. Thought the price was a bit steep - over £6 for two. Toilets clean.

A standard Costa Coffee the same you get anywhere. A smell from the dump is not good if the wind is from that direction so don't sit outside.

Not sure what you can say about a chain of coffee shops? this is no different from any other Costa serving the same food and drink. Nice muffins especially bakewell and lemon usual coffee not too strong, ask for extra shot if you want more flavour. Had cause to complain about the plumbing once, and a nice outside area that can be plagued with flies from a nearby out of sight tip. Depends on the weather . Problem with so many Costas no one seems to clear tables.

Lovely coffee as you'd like it, staff friendly and helpful if you'd like to try different coffee.Lots of seating inside and out, perfect for a summers day.Toilets on site, clean and well maintained.Love the toasted sandwiches here, would recommend the blueberry muffin. Delicious!Free Wifi too

They do very nice hot and cold drinks a bit pricy but very worth it they also do food.They have an upstairs seating and down stairs seating so there is alot of seating area.The staff was nice to talk to and very quick service they dont make you stand around for to long.

The coffee is good the venue good location but not as clean as it should be and often many tables left with empty dishes, more attention to detail would improve the rating.
