Costa coffee metro centre in Gateshead

I really like this costa but my drink choice was terrible, i got the mango passionfruit iced boba and it honestly tasted like sick i gave it to my friend to finish but other than that the service was really nice and people very friendly!

I visit here about twice a week. Cannot fault Josh and his staff. Brilliant team. Always cheery. Coffee and toast my favourite. Like a second home

We came here on our visit to the Metro Centre, we ordered several drinks including a blueberry flappe which had the baubles in, when we go the end of the drink my daughter at the counter for a spoon so she could eat the baubles to be told to use the wooden stirrers instead and refused to give her spoon.

It’s a nice costa only problem is the accessible toilet isn’t very accessible to this in a wheelchair it’s hard to reach the flush on the loo and if you’re in a chair you are unable to reach both locks at the same time as it’s has one of the PIN codes on the outside so I got stuck and had to ring the friend I was with to get someone to open the door for me which was rather embarrassing

Another great latte from this popular chain of coffee shops. This place was busy but we managed to get a seat. Great Coffee and hot chocolate with a lovely blueberry muffin.

Went to Costa in Next, to be quite honest it was very average. Staff were so slow in cleaning tables, unbelievable, tables all around us hadn't been cleared. Facilities for heating baby food, non existent, very poor. Staff couldn't be bothered, poor.

There are a few Costa cafes in the Metro Centre. This review is based on my experience at the Debenhams Costa. Staff seemed poorly trained. Probably why I had a pool of coffee in my saucer from their poorly handing my drink to me.

I guess that in a Costa, you know what you're getting. The coffee is ok. The service is acceptable; although, table clearing can be a bit hit and miss. It just lacks that personal touch. But I suppose that's inevitable with chains.

Costa is always very good so it's nice to go there so you know exactly what to expect. I will be going back again as the service was excellent as usual.

This cost is ok, not as good as the Odeon Costa in the Metro Centre, the food is over priced like all costas and there is usually a large queue and it isn;t as cosy as the Odeon one either
