Costa Coffee in Next in Bolton

Doesn't open till 11.00am on Sunday. Car park locked. Info needs updating. Good job therre was another Costa nearby. Nothing else to add

A good venue but overall dirty. Chairs are stained walls have food residue, ledges full of dust, tables not cleared. Staff try their best I think but they look understaffed.

The staff at the Costa at middlebrook, are very pleasant & attentive. The staff work very hard, enjoy going there every week.

Staff very pleasant and hardworking always happy to help on our visits for breakfast . Would recommend the toast and a really good cup of tea . Wi-Fi and phone sockets available can’t say the cleaning is upto the same standards though, on the surface it looks clean but bat the side of the sofa is different thing and not pleasant when sat opposite. Such a shame think the cleaners need to be spoken to

Had to ask for my cappuccino to be re-made (I never do this), because it had been made badly. It was re-made in a cup with a huge chip exactly where I was drinking from. It’s not busy & there are plenty of staff on. Last time I came there were loads of flies buzzing around the cakes.

Called in here today (16 Feb 2022) Costa in Next at Middlebrook Retail Park. We’ve been here before on a number of times, we actually found the staff polite, friendly and helpful. On this occasion we noticed that it was distinctly dirty, the lounge type seats by the windows were stained, dirty and full of dried in food. In addition at least one table had black and yellow tape that appeared to be holding it together. We observed that the tables were not being cleaned, there were drink spillages and dirty cups. Plus the floor was also unclean throughout. This Costa franchise is in one of Nexts flagship stores and reflects badly on Next too. It is beginning to feel run down and neglected. I cannot recommend this branch of Costa, if you do visit I suggest that you don’t wear good clothes and check your seat before you sit down.

There were only two members of staff when I visited the cafe with my mother. They were very busy but doing their best to keep the cafe clean in difficult circumstances. I was very impressed. There was not much food on offer.

Unhelpful and rude staff, brusque manner, signage hidden and uninformative. Will not be returning, and would be surprised if others did either.

Not one to complain or write a bad review but after my visit today I feel like one is needed. I respect social distancing measures that are currently in place and abide by the rules. But when you are greeted with rude members of staff that don’t even say hello, but demand to enter track and trace details, which I said yes of course. Followed by a “NOW!” All this even before taking my order? Surely you can take someone’s order and then ask politely to fill in the details whilst the drink is being made no? Then whilst I was filling my details you then asked abruptly what I wanted. Just no need to be rude.

Visited after collected some bits from Next. It was very very busy with the staff struggling to cope. Mountains of cups on tables and they were telling everyone that all drinks would need to be in takeaway cups. No small surprise with the amount of people in there. Staff were very friendly even with all the pressure and drinks were great as usual.

Great to have this alternative Costa at Middlebrook. The first floor location makes it light and airy. Usual good coffee for our visits to football matches. Ideal if you want to browse Next too.

Pleasant place to have a coffee whilst shopping. Very busy, but staff efficient and friendly and clean. Coffee was the usual Costa standard. Extensive views across to the stadium and retail park

Costa in next at middlebrook is decorated beautifully, staff are friendly and food/drinks are of a high standard as you would expect from such a large business. However I do have 1 complaint.....not enough staff, long, slow moving queues. Please hire more staff!!!

Love the new Costa Coffee in Next - not that I need an excuse for a Next visit, but now I've got one! It's lovely and spacious with a mix of dining arrangements, and plenty of natural light. On most occasions we've been (there's been a fair few since it opened), we've found it to be perfect - the coffee has been hot, food served quickly and the staff very friendly. There has only been one occasion were everything went wrong, though I think the young barista was in training!

This is a lovely addition to the retail park and is handy if you want to have a coffee while your partner shops. The cafe area is spacious and serves great food. Only complaint is that when we were there there didn’t seem to have enough people tidying up quickly enough.
