Been here a few times and thought it was one or two isolated incidents. There's one member of staff who looks like she'd rather be anywhere else in the world than behind the counter taking your order. No greetings, no thank yous etc. God forbid you forget to say whether you're staying in or taking out because she'll look at you like you've just poked her in the eye. Every other Costa I have been to has been quite pleasant and welcoming but this one is quite the opposite.

Great Costa, food and drinks always perfect, plus staff are very friendly,

Just went through the drive thru and ordered a cheddar and tomato toastie. Got home only to find I’ve been given a beans and cheese toastie which I don’t like and I’ve still been charged £4.95 for the one I actually ordered. Too late to do anything about it now but seriously unhappy. I am a busy mum and don’t often get 5 mins spare to treat myself, so the one time I do this is very disappointing.

An out of the way Costa just off the A556. Staff were very pleasant and quick, drinkers were hot and made to order. It's not a big place so it looks very busy, The staff keep the place very clean, also outside was very clean as well. They have EV chargers on site posted 16/09/24

Costa food is pretty bog standard, so can't rate the food very highly. The service here is pretty good except occasionally the new barristas need more training. Always kept clean & tidy.

Great service, great addition to Northwich

Visited for breakfast with my family the last two mornings. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Stayed for 2-3 hours each time, tried a variety of hot and cold food and drinks. All were promptly and well prepared. Mine and my daughter's needs were taken into consideration.

A visit to my local Costa in the morning usually sets me up for the day on a positive note due to the friendly, personable and attentive service. Thankfully, this isn't my local Costa because I've given it multiple tries and left feeling dour each time due to poor service. The positives are a decent carpark, comfortable seating and access.

As an alternative to M6 services this place was great. Really friendly staff. No queues (it was Sunday afternoon) and no motorway services premium.

Good place to get a drive through coffee good service

We arrived at about 9-45am the young lady was friendly the guy was so miserable he should have stayed in bed, tables dirty and with trays of empty plates and cups left on, we chose a table which still had tray on as that was the only decent one available and the receipt from previous order was 8.03am so shows just how long that has been left there, wasn't even that busy. Will not be rushing back.

Really weird bunch of people in there, combined with a dirty and broken toilet meaning I won't be in a hurry to go back.

Only had coffee at the drive through and were served by a very pleasant young lady.

Just had a drink, no food but a good Costa here in Lostock.

Have been extremely disappointed on numerous occasions as there is little continuity in making the frappe's at this branch. Missing ingredients means it's not a true frappe. Hardly any caramel at times and no caramel sugar on top, means it's not a true frappe. Wonder what the CEO of Costa would say about this. Such a shame.

Service can be slow but it is in a good location so os always bustling. Friendly staff and drinks always made to perfection.

It sells overpriced coffee and thats about it. The wife went there and I tagged along.

Website states they are open till 7pm on Sunday - arrive at 4:40pm to be told they're closing in 20 minutes for a staff meeting about Christmas. I didn't want to stay and feel rushed, but the kids didn't want to have a wasted visit. Very poor, and certainly the last time I'll drive out of our way to visit

I cannot review this Costa because the Costa app states it closes at 9pm and it was closed at 8pm.

Seems to always close early or something is wrong for example the ice machine is turned off!

Drive through, quick & pleasant.Would recommend a visit

Nice when it's open but I'm not sure what time zone they operate in. Yesterday I went at quarter to 7. Closed. Today, 5 to 6. Closed. I wouldn't mind if the opening hours were shorter and advertised as such but to say it's open till 9 is a blatant lie.

Having visited multiple Costa Drive Thrus around the North West area this is by far the most efficient. Orders are handed over promptly and accurate, staff are friendly and always receive service with a smile. It is also one of the only stores that consistently give out the relevant chocolates with the promotional drinks. IE After Eight or Aero.

Staggered to see so many positive reviews for this branch. I understand the staffing issues the hospitality sector is up against at the moment but this site is regularly either closed completely or just struggling to function to an acceptable standard. My advice would be to avoid the risk that it might be closed or firing on 2 cylinders and visit one of the other Northwich Costas which all appear to function just fine. My advice to Costa would be to sort it out or close it.

On Sunday the cafe is not serving other than drive through. This is not clear in the timetable and i wasted a journey.

We use this Costa quite often as the drive thru is very handy. Great selection of drinks and snacks as always and quality is always perfect. Staff are very friendly, especially Kate who is always a happy smiling face to greet you at the window. Big thanks to all the staff.

Awful AGAIN from this costa; I’m a vegetarian and was given a ham and cheese toastie (they hadn’t bothered to cut it in half so I only found out after having a bite) instead of cheese and tomato ordered, incorrect drink orders given, just shockingly bad service on the whole. I would recommend driving two minutes down the road to the next, much better, costa.

Great service by the staff in this clean and tidy coffee shop / drive thru.

Great little Costa coffee Café with drive through. Recently opened. Nice seating areas inside and outside. Ample free parking. Water bowl outside in the seating area for pets. Wheelchair accessible entrance and toilets (also wheelchair accessible) on the left as you enter the café. Height restriction of 2.5m for the drive through. No Height restriction on the car park. Staff are friendly polite and helpful.

Was looking forward to having a Costa on my doorstep but have been very disappointed they are always running out cups went there on Wednesday and they were only doing hot drinks in a small cup.The cappuccinos and frostinos through the drive thru are hit and miss won’t be going there again.Better off going to the retail park or the one at Tesco .

This place has changed my life. I adore Costa coffee almost as much as I adore not having to leave the comfort of my car to get Costa coffee. Blooming lovely.

Seems to continually have issues with staff shortages and can only operate via the drivethru. Continually runs out of toast. Completely unreliable. Many disappointed customers end up at the original Costa cafe about a mile down the road towards Northwich.

Really poor service and poor tasting coffees, won’t be returning in a hurry. There is lots of choice for coffee in the area and the perk of a drive through is not enough to put up with poor service and products
