We stop here when visiting the zoo. The staff are lovely and the rooms are immaculate.

The staff are Brilliant, just happened at breakfast to mention in passing it is my birthday 80 tomorrow and that we were going retail shopping. When we got back to our room there was balloons & chocolates and a lovely birthday card from the staff, well done xxxxxxx

We were in room 122 and apart from the light above the bathroom sink not working, everything was fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

Now I’ve been to some hotels in my time, and I can safely say they have the best breakfast selection I have ever seen. Especially the scrambled eggs Mhmmhm delicious. Our room was very clean and all staff were very friendly and approachable.

Lovely hotel, superb Joseph Holts pub next to it, about a 10 minute taxi journey to the centre, friendly staff, didn't have breakfast but the room and food looked spot on, so many shops, bars, supermarkets nearby, loved it!!!!

Standard copy and paste Premier Inn. Breakfast room inside the hotel instead of in the pub next door.

Great hotel well look after and the patio out front was amazingly clean for this time of year which is surprising considering some hotels never look after outside there hotels.

It's comfy and convenient. The service was pretty average. We spent two nights here, checked out, and checked back in after two nights. The cleaning/cleanliness of the place isn't amazing. The rubbish bin was not emptied out from the previous guests, there was a contact lense on the floor near the bed. Even though the reservation was made for two people, the bathroom and towels were prepared for one person, so we had to go to reception and ask for another set. The rooms have a decent amount of space, and the bed was pretty comfy. There is parking available if you need The location is great, a quick walk across the road to Morrisons, there's a pub next door and a 2 minute walk to the Bache station makes it pretty convenient for a short stay.

We stopped here for 2 nights so we could visit Chester zoo, honestly I haven’t been in many better hotels than this one. The room was clean and tidy the bathroom had no hairs and everything was shining, If I was being picky there was a few cobwebs but that’s about the only thing. Mellisa on reception was very friendly and welcoming couldn’t have asked for more. She went the extra mile and left some chocolate and a note in our room hoping we have a good day and really made our day when we got back with our legs hurting to see that. Absolutely recommended, 2nights under £100 breakfast was 10/10. 100% be back 1 day.

Treated ourselves to an overnight stay. Have stayed before about 3 years ago. Received a warm welcome from Chloe on reception. Hotel is partway through an upgrade. Hotel & room decor stylish & elegant. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was just as good as our previous visit with continental and full English options with glorious views over the grounds. We did not visit the spa or golf facilities this time but enjoyed a walk of the grounds & sculpture garden. If you're looking for a comfortable quality stay you can't go wrong here.

Girl with red hair on reception really needs some new customer service skills or a better suited job... wfh away from the general public. Young girl with tattoos was lovely as always. Second time visiting and red haired woman really ruined the vibe. No name badge so unsure of her name as no introduction. Looked extremely bored and uninterested - unwilling to help. Didn't go into detail of what facilities were available to us and when, just seemed to want to end the interaction as soon as possible and get back to what she said doing (nothing we were the only ones in there). Luckily, it was our second time here so we're somewhat familiar with what was on offer. Wasn't busy at all so no excuse of being rushed off her feet. Went into the back to hide from customers. No one on the desk when we went for our treatment and when we came back. It's a shame because it is a nice spa - but the people on reception are the first point of contact and can really have a lasting effect on the day. Treatment was average - again, masseuse seemed bored and unenthusiastic. Probably won't be visiting again unfortunately. Food was expensive for what it was. Staff insisted that we were to pick what we wanted to eat immediately as soon as we got there at 9am, despite being the only ones eating. Not sure why it was such an immediate factor. No offer of anything else to drink from the fridge, no would you like anything else how was your meal etc. Abysmal service. Like I said, Rowton Hall is nice but uninterested staff ruin the vibe.

I would like to thank Richie for his warm, human and thoroughly appreciated greeting when we arrived late on to check in after a lengthy drive. He is excellent. Room was very comfortable especially the bed and spacious. Would definitely stay again.
