Very lovely people working, I look forward to coming in to do my studying there each week.

We enjoy stopping off for a Costa Coffee whenever we go shopping because you know what you get 😃 a nice cup of coffee ☕️ It is a shame that it was spoiled by a rude attitude of Yulia who took the order ☹️ she DEFINITELY needs some training in customer service 😎

Good selection, friendly staff. But why isn't there normal lactose-free milk? Like in the rest of the world. Please improve this!

Visited this Costa store twice whilst I’ve been down in Brighton for the weekend! The staff are all really friendly and the service has been great on both occasions!

I'm a fan of Costa Coffee. Actually, I think this is the first ever Costa Coffee I ever visited. They always serve a nice cappuccino, a big cup, even if it says "small" on the menu :) Location good, food and coffee excellent. I bit noisy perhaps, but not much to worry about.

This spot boasts the presence of three major coffee shop brands from the high street. Surprisingly, Costa seems to have the shortest queues. I attribute this to the efficiency of the staff, as I found that this branch consistently serves the best coffee on the street. It has become my go-to destination for morning coffees on the fly.

coffee was amazing! I left my bag by mistake under a table and the staff saw it, took it into the back and even called local stores of the company I work for as they saw my work lanyard in my bag I ended up getting it back solely due to the thoughtful staff! amazing service

I am basically a coffee lover. I like to try various coffee shops...Costa being one of my favourite..have been here and to their other branches several times... Their coffees , frappes and bakery items are to vouch for... this time I got a birthday treat offer in the Costa app..along with an offer of any drink for pound 3... So I redeemed the offer ...for a birthday treat I got a dessert and also redeemed the drink voucher .. So I tried their chocolate cake which was good .. it has nuts in it and was tasty .. The cappuccino was awesome... Their regular size is so huge... Sprinkled with chocolate and top layer of froth makes it appealing and tasty .. Though the outlet was very busy, the service provided was great ..

Nice coffee, unfortunately they were quite busy and only had 3 people working, asked to have in and with oat milk was served in a takeaway cup and regular milk, not the end of the world, so didn’t complain they had enough to deal with. Staff looked stressed.

I normally come here quite often, so when a Friend came down to Brighton yesterday, we met here with another Friend of ours. We were having a private conversation and apparently the older couple sat behind us didn't like our topic of conversation and complained!! A member of staff then came over and proceeded to hurry us along to leave. Last time I checked Costa staff don't run a dictatorship that censors others conversation topics! Won't be coming back ever or meeting my other friends and family here as I normally do!

Absolutely ridiculous coffee cold 45 minutes late, and the coffee cups were half full over all totally poor service and won't order from here again.

Tried the festive hot chocolate after eight one, really minty and a proper after eight

Staff polite and helpful, but... Premises looked tired and run down, and dirty. We had to clear our own table, table was sticky, floor was dirty. . Frankly the toilet was not a pleasant experience either.. It really doesn't give visitors, a good impression.

Delicious coffee. A small and long line to buy, but only one overworked employee to prepare all orders. But she delivered our order with excellence

Nearly close to 2 hours after I ordered it arrived. Two drinks. Then when it did. The mocha was cold and the iced drink was defrosted completely. I couldn’t cancel my order despite costa telling to me too because the just eat driver left without my order. An hour after that phone call my order is delivered. But pointless.

Great spot. Downstairs can be fairly noisy with the machines going intermittently, but upstairs is perfect for studying. It is a bit expensive now though... £3.75 for a medium cappuccino I think it was but I suppose that's just the way all things are going.

Whilst waiting for my drink and food, Beth who was making the coffee was extremely rude to myself after making my drink wrong and then snapped multiple times at the other member of staff whilst I was stood at the counter!!! Either someone needs training on how to speak to people or shouldn't be in a customer facing role!!!! I normally come into this shop multiple times a week but with customer service like this I think it's time to find somewhere new;

Visited this Costa today and was very impressed with the standard of service, food and cleanliness. We had toasted sandwiches and a sausage bap. All three items were heated up just right and served with a smile! Cappuccino, iced latte and hot chocolate were all good too. We noticed how clean the staff kept the place. As soon as people left they were spraying and wiping down the tables. They even called out goodbye and waved as we left, which was really nice.

Popped into Western Road Brighton branch for my free drink. Staff came across initially as friendly and professional however it looked like it was a ship out of control. I had to point out the poor cleanliness of certain seating areas and a customer had to ask for his hot food as they had forgot about it in the oven. On both occasions when told about issues it became laughter and frivolity. Loyalty betrayed.

As costas go this was a nice one. It was quite quiet when we were there and the drinks and good were made quickly and the 2 staff on seemed friendly with customers but not so much eachother. The place was clean, and we enjoyed having a coffee due to the quietness of the places, it seemed quieter than the other just down the road, maybe due to the size.

Needed to stop while walking around the city. Wasn’t really hungry but needed to get some coffee and some juice. Had some latte with coconut milk it was lovely. Huge cup of coffee.

The best time is early morning where not too busy and there is space to sit down after a walk around the town, warm in winter when damp and cool outdoors, however there are nice sunny views from the front overlooking the shopping centre area. Good to have coffee or something that can be had in or to takeaway.

I always go into this one Costa whenever I am down in Brighton, it for me has a nice layout and atmosphere to have your coffee in, as well as always welcoming and well trained staff who always provide a well made coffee.

One of my favorite cafe but I couldn't find the cafe ambiance over this place. Would consider to take away.

Staff are very pleasant . Sticky tables . Noisy customers with speaker phone up loud. Upstairs never open. Air con is freezing all year round

I am one of your customers, and I absolutely did not complain about any branch. I only stopped at this site. The cup of the hot chocolate was full so that any loss of balance would spill on the plate. Unfortunately, my table was next to the waiting corridor..and the workers passed by me and no one helped me..It is unfortunate that you see neglect by the employees. I do not know if there is discrimination, but what I know is that the employee is a mirror reflecting this branch.

Slow service waited 10mins for a black americano. I have worked in hospitality for 10years they was making 1 drink at a time maybe teach people to multitask and there was 5 people on the till still a slow service i could of cooked a steak in the time i was waiting for my coffee lol.

The staff at this branch of Costa are absolutely amazing, always friendly and polite, and can’t do enough for you, a big thank you to both Tess and Ganache, Costa should be proud to have them as there staff.

Staff deserve a raise !! Went there on the 19th Nov as I was travelling down for a few days to meet my family and honestly the service of the staff was phenomenal despite their circumstances. It started with Mac and cheese as well as my Vegan Ham and cheese being stone cold and barely melted. The staff had it remade and explained the machine acts up from time to time. We also had issues with the drinks so they fixed it almost instantly. The deserts were perfect and amazing however they need something to stop flies getting to some of them. Despite the line almost going out the door and looking very understaffed amd over whelmed they managed to keep a smile and solve every issue that was presented to them professionally. I love the team that was there sadly id have to ask for their names again. I was one who’s name is like a chocolate but id need to ask.

Your toilet door needs sorting. Despite being in there with the door locked someone managed to open it using the keypad outside and walked in on me.

Visit this branch often whenever in Brighton. The female staff are always very friendly and efficient. Today however, I ordered a sausage breakfast bap, but when I bit into it, it was stone cold. I very nicely told the man serving at the counter that it was cold, but he just stared at me blankly. I think because I interrupted him leaning on the counter, looking at his phone: So again nicely, I asked if it could be heated up or replaced. He snatched it off of me and said he’d heat it up. I then stood around waiting awkwardly, while he went back to looking at his phone - not very hygienic when serving food. When it was done, he plonked it in front of me, with no smile and no apology. It was hot this time, but the bun was overdone and most of it broke into crumbs.

This is a really big branch that we chose because we have a 9-month-old baby and it's buggy-friendly, but for some reason there's only one high chair. It was in use when we visited, so we had to try and feed our child on our laps while our food and drinks went cold. The staff were friendly and apologetic, but there was nothing they could do to help.

We visited this Costa for a quick drink one afternoon. The staff were very friendly, service was quick, lot's of variety and decent price!

I am sometimes going to this coffee shop to get a drink and I am happy with drinks, services and staff.

Ordered an oatmilk latte and was overcharged but as it was busy and I was in a rush I didn't argue over 45p. Having said that, coffee was good and service was quick

It's quite dark and border line gloomy inside and there was no soap in the toilet however the coffee is delicious as you would expect and the staff were very friendly and helpful..would probably have my coffee to go next time.

Service above the norm. It's just a regular Costa. What makes this one superb was the service from a chap there called something like Cidas- couldn't make out his name badge. Tall, short brown hair, glasses. If you are his boss and are reading this then please note he was EXCEPTIONALLY polite, helpful, friendly and alround nice. It made our visit memorable even though it was just a Costa visit.

Not busy. Ran out of filter coffee in the machine as my wife's cup was made. Offered her half a cup, we said 'no'. Then offered to bring a full fresh cup to our table which never arrived until we had to go an ask for it. No offer of sauces in our heated sandwiches and my Latte wasn't that hot either.

I was visiting Brighton for a short break and popped into Costa. Now, I know with COVID-19, each business has their own system in place. I have visited my local Costa and it’s been really well organised. Only one person from each family is able to order to avoid too many people cluttering up the queue; the rest of the party is asked to sit down at a table. However, this branch was very different. My boyfriend told me what he wanted, and then went to sit down. The lady behind the counter asked him to wait with me. We ordered and then sat down to drink our coffees. In the 20 minutes we were in there, no-one appeared to know what the system was for ordering drinks, where to wait, who could sit down and so on. Many people tried to go and sit down while other people they were with were ordering and also told to wait in the queue. Staff members were telling people to keep 2 meters apart. Many people were forced to stand around the queue area. It just seemed a silly system. The staff were doing their best and I really felt for them. The system they had created meant that social distancing was almost impossible when groups of 2-3 were ordering drinks/food. We chose to visit other places where we both weren’t needed to stand in the queue to order and receive food and drink.

I am very disapointed with your staff today. I came to have a coffe with friend of mine in costa on western rd opposite churchil square He sat down at table while i was quing to get my coffe. Than one staff member Blond lady i don't know her name she was bloody rude!! We didn't know you have to wait to be seated as so many rules in each shop. She came to my friend inform him that we need to wait to get table. bla bla. Everything would be ok but Her tone of voice and atitude she said it was anpropriate. Raising voice and not friendly. No manners at all!! We are regular custumers to Costa. I have been to other costas and wasn't any problems. Your staff members have to be remainder how to speak to customers who paying for your coffe and food. In sted i went to different coffe shop. Disapointed BIG TIME!!

Went to the costa the other week at like 4.30 and it was quite and quick service. The staff were so nice and welcoming to all customers. There customer service was amazing and is making me want to come back more often. I really enjoyed my visit there. No problems what do ever. The whole place was clean and tidy. I think the quietness off the shop makes it so much better for customers. Overall the place was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The coffee I had was nice and refreshing make perfect and quick. I had a good visit there

I'm on the coast and asked for hot chocolate and boy gave me a horrible and asked it was bad he spilled little put some milk, I take many years hot chocolate and never took a hot black chocolate of this made and took pictures to taste

Stopped here for coffee while my husband went shopping. Service was good girls friendly. What let it down were the toilets . Floor very dirty not just from today. Edges not cleaned . Rubbish bins needed a good wash. I would not like to change my baby in here

This is one of the better Costa houses. Polite friendly staff give excellent customer service and maintain a clean and tidy outlet.

I went yesterday to the shop and lady her name (Karina)gave me the most unprofessional customer service in my life .. After II had very bad service from her in the counter . I decided to find something for my daughter to draw ,I found one leaflet in the top of the counter and I think it was for the staff witch I understand but I did not know looks like leaflet ..but she came to to my daughter and pulled it so badly the pen almost came into her eye..she could asked nicely and I would apologized..so unprofessional experience from the girl and I have to say I always go there and the staff super nice but not this time ..
