Costa Coffee, Bath Road, Chippenham in Wiltshire

Great tasting coffee and quick service. Dont think much more is needed really. They seemed busy so must be doing something right!

As I work from home I often use coffee shops for meetings. This is my preferred location for those meetings as there is plenty of room and the tables are well spaced out without the feeling of everyone sitting on top of each other. 5 stars

Great service today by the lovely lady at Costa. Looked to be understaffed there, but she was polite, kind and still doing all she could to provide a great experience.

We bought our drinks and then within 2 minutes of sitting down a member of staff came round and said that they were about to close. When we mentioned that it would have been nice if that had been mentioned we were rudely told “it’s on the door!” . The door was wedged open so it wasn’t really visible. Then another member of staff basically came and stood staring at us, so we left. This isn’t the first time the staff at this branch have been so rude- no more custom from us. Surely it would just make sense to say to those ordering in the last 10mins of the day - oh by the way we are closing soon! Roll on the new Starbucks

Appalled: one member of staff shouting from behind the counter (with perspex) at an elderly gentleman who had sat on a chair which apparently was not in use, he was waiting for his elderly wife who was in the toilet. (They were customers not just toilet visitors) She was bellowing at him to move at which he did like a told off school boy. No attempt was made to clean the "chair that was out of action ' so it clearly was not much of an issue. It was dreadful behaviour from the blonde haired barista. On another point the table/chairs we sat at looked unclean so I asked for something to clean it at which point she handed me a piece of blue roll, I proceeded to wipe it myself. IN FUTURE YOUNG LADY, COME OUT FROM BEHIND YOUR COUNTER & DEAL WITH SITUATIONS IN A LADY LIKE MANOR!!! not sure the elderly couple will ever step foot in there again, I know for sure I will NOT.
