Costa Coffee in Wirral

First visit for much needed coffee. All members of staff helpful and welcoming, cheerful too! The whole space immaculately clean and tidy. All credit to them!

There was a massive bug in my chicken sandwich think it may have been a spider couldn’t tell as it wasn’t very pleasant. can’t blame this store in particular as sandwiches are prepackaged. Think costa need to check health & safety of sandwiches & ingredients to make sure they’re all in the correct environment.

Ordered a toastie and 2 hot drinks for delivery. Order arrived with no toastie and the drinks were lukewarm at best. Partner had to drive up there and was told they had ran out of the toasties and the drinks were cool as the driver was late. Not sure how that's our problem. Terrible customer service

The new staff in this Costa, their customer service is appalling! They shouted at us to not eat our food through the whole place instead of just coming up to us and asking us not to, they done this twice (as my boyfriend did attempt to eat his food again lmao) Even though we purchased from there. I have never been told I couldn’t eat in Costa if I bought something. We was starving and wanted somewhere to sit and eat and thought oh we will go and get a Costa. Regret doing that now! If they had come up to us and discreetly told us that they didn’t want us to eat it then we would of been fine. Old staff was well better.

Since this outlet now has three machines for take away orders waiting time to be served is abysmal, take away food orders take priority over customers, staff are leaving and this franchise is being covered mainly by temporary staff, you can pay for your order then have to wait until all takeaway orders are completed. Customers are walking out and going elsewhere, most of who have been regular daily customers for years, us included.A couple who meet friends daily.

Very expensive for a piece of cake! Tables not cleaned quick enough, seating is bad, will not go again

The staff here are always very friendly and very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. As well as good coffee there is a variety of foods such as toastys and breakfast wraps.
