This is one of the nicest Costa’s I have ever been in! So much space, very clean, the people who work there are so lovely and the decor is nice too!

Probably the best Costa I have visited. The lady that served me was welcoming, friendly and catty. Overall a very good experience.

During my recent visit to the Costa Coffee branch near Mile End, I had a great experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I ordered a blueberry muffin and a drink on the app, and was impressed by how quickly the drink was made. There is a good number of seats here and the store was tidy.

My first visit was very nice, the french lady upgraded my drink for free and it really made my day. Hot choco with coconut milk all the way. Second time not so great! I got a hazelnut hot choco and wasn't a fan so I would get the normal one next time. Whipped cream on top was a bit underwhelming. Another reviewer spoke about a lot of barista practices being broken but what would you expect from a large chain cafe lol. My drink the second time was just about warm, I assume people would like their hot drinks...hot! It's nearing December but the aircon upstairs was blowing out cold air

What's with the barista (a man) giving me unsolicited advice on how often to feed my baby?! Sorry but the few times I've been here, the cakes were dry and just disappointing.

Asked for a caramel frappe and was made a hot caramel latte.. I said there was a mistake and I wanted a cold drink and the young girl said well its already made so ... I had remind her costa coffee policy is if your drink is wrong we make another one then another girl responded and made my cold frappe .. not a good start to the roman I think the staff has changed....

Shop is located in a busy location spread over 2 floors. Closes at 7pm. Not a place you would go by car, close to mile end station and next to mile end park located under the yellow bridge. The usual Costa menu, nothing amazing.

My visit to Costa Coffee was a remarkable experience. As soon as I walked in, I was promptly greeted with a friendly smile by the staff. My order was efficiently taken, with great attention to detail. I was impressed by their kind and welcoming attitude towards all customers, always willing to respond promptly and professionally to any request. This establishment certainly deserves my congratulations for the excellent service provided! 👏

Very unhygienic cafe. Reheating milk constantly by topping up pitchers without emptying & cleaning them is a health hazard regardless of how busy you are. Even after asking asking them to clean the pitcher they just smirk it off, but the guy did acknowledge what he was doing was wrong but still carried on! If you’re visiting this place then keep an eye on what they pour your milk into.

scalding hot chocolate burnt my tongue, asked to cool it down and he poured out half of the contents and filled it with milk, now it tastes tasteless, focus on the temperature next time instead of walking away whilst it’s boiling

Umae or whatever the girls name is made my coffee wrong and was very rude about it, she needs a reality check. Gave me the most disgusting dirty look, deffo the worst mocha I’ve ever had. Seriously the worst customer service.

I came in the doors of Costa to find found a fresh bran new interior (I used to come here for years). Returning felt nice, lot of memories of endless coffee drinking, and chats… Carolina who was staff member then is still here today but manager now and well deserved too! She’s kindness personified, she has grace and busy multitasking hands. The coffee is good as ever but what I like the most is the peaceful and calm atmosphere. Thank you Costa and thank you Carolina 🙏 Ps. Roberta, Aga and Beauty (what a beautiful name too!) were the other members of staff who shared a very nice team spirit 👍👍👍

This Costa is well stocked with plenty of seats. We were very happy to see vegan options (and all the other food choices) on a Sunday afternoon. Service was great and slick, coffee was standard but not in any negative way. I would say come to this Costa instead of the Starbucks right opposite.

Nice quite place, however for some reason the A/C is too cold.

The goat cheese toast is simply delightful! Upstairs offers a fantastic study spot with a pleasant atmosphere and helpful staff.

Staffs are very friendly. Usually I am going at Whitechapel’s costa. 1st time I went at Mile End . I had a cortado. Coffee was very nice That’s why I took another cortado . It’s seems barista was in training but she look’s experienced, she made nice coffee.

Whenever I go into Costa coffee I feel welcome and at home with family. Services are superb, fantastic staff, clean environment, toilet super clean

Never know how they working. Upper floor closed two hours before closing. WiFi is not working and signal is weak on lover floor. Relaxin coffee after work became disaster.

I came here a few days ago. They made two big hot chocolates for us. The only thing is that my friend forgot to ask for whipped cream and they charged us £ 0.50 Even if we have already paid... The sweet was like paper, very hard and tasteless. The seats upstairs are nice and quiet, a good place for a chat or a date.

The best Costa in the Mile End area. Easy to go to and from work...as well as catch ups with friends....seating available inside , top floor and outside.

I am so angry about this branch of Costa, staff are so bad, they can not make a proper cappuccino, a latte, a macchiato or anything else I am not racist I am just a coffee lover in other words a coffee addict All the Asian staff are not proper baristas, I think one of the managers who is Asian employ them without training The Polish girl manager makes good coffee, All the rest are not made for making coffee, they should just stick to make curry I decided to go somewhere else Shame I was spending about £30 of coffees every week Unless you don’t know nothing about coffee it is ok Coffee lovers please avoid disappointment don’t go there Another thing this guy who worked on the 25/01/23 at 16:37 he is Bangladesh he was so loud and rrally shouting when talking staff I was sitting there and it was really annoying to listen to him shouting This is the guy picture posted

I really don't go here very often, and the few times I do it's usually at a more quiet time. But it's a lovely, relaxed place to be, the staff are always cheerful, and the coffee constantly good.

blonde polish manager lady has no manners. incredibly rude when serving and even kissed her teeth at me and raised her voice in irritance. please train her in how to talk to customers because she is clearly unable to do that.

The customer services are very nice serving me when I asked about a cake. I asked them it contains cinnamon or not because I don’t like the taste but i appreciated them when they checked the ingredients properly and asked me about the allergy. Also, the vibe is nice to study and enjoyable!!

Customer service is always prompt and the staff are friendly. The drinks here are terrible. I order the same drink from different branches and they all taste different. I ordered an iced mocha and it tasted awful. Everytime I go to this branch it tastes terrible.

A rather run down Costa branch. I thought I would try a sandwich. It was the worst kind of sandwich with soggy bread with a tasteless filling. Why does almost every food item have cheese in it?! I wouldn't remember this place. I guess there is a reason another coffee chain across the road was much busier.

I think this place has the cleanest toilet in London!

Today I had my worst experience, today like every morning I went to the Costa to buy my ice latte. I repeat I always go to this shop and I go in with my dog ​​that is a support dog, today when I entered the girl who always Served me was super rude to me and began to tell me that dogs are not allowed in the shop and I asked her why if they do not allowed dogs why she tells me that today and not two months ago since I have been going to this shop for more than two months. Honestly this is all disrespectful.

Costa have always been my favourite coffee place in London. The coffee taste great - rich and flavourful. Also I love the taste of their freshly froth milk! Add the coffee to it and Bang! you got that brilliant mix of tastes. I’ve been drinking coffee my whole life, mostly Espresso when i was younger but nowadays it’s more like Latte or Cappuccino. Honestly, all of their drinks taste great. The cold drinks too! Very smooth! I will never forget that one time I got an Ice Latte from a different coffee shop (I don’t want to say which one) and I asked them to add sugar to my drink. The lady just dumped 2 packs of granulated sugar on the top of the ice in my drink and hand it to me! The sugar never dissolved, obviously, the drink was disgusting. So when I got my first cold coffee from Costa I wasn’t expecting much but I end up being so pleasantly surprised! Costa Coffee is definitely worth the money.

I've used my Vodafone app to get a discount and on two occasions the soya flat white tasted awful. on the third occasion I opted for a black Americarno and that was about average. even with a discount it's not worth getting a coffee here.

All three workers talking away about non related work stuff and serving me at the same time without even looking at me and when It came to buying my food he just out his hand out and didn't tell me how much. Not even looking at me to tell me the price. I had to then ask him cause he was waiting for me to give him money. Staff are useless

This is a nice Costa to sit in. Has two floors so a fair few seats. Quality of the coffee? Same as any other Costa: not amazing but does the job Only issue is there's not enough plugs so it can be quite difficult to charge your phone/laptop and get work done when it's busy

The drinks are as good as any costa so it is good. The girl who took my order today (4/11/2021) was very nice but the guy who made coffee was borderline with rude. Some people should check how they talk to the customers.

place is nice but alot of junkies sit outside always shouting but staff is friendly. I would recommend to remove those seats makes it look like a junkies hangout.

If the coffee a customer buys is not right then it should be changed accordingly, without being challenged or given attitude. It's not personal...it's coffee!

My experience over here has been completely the opposite to the one I had in Costa Ealing. My go to coffee shop has always been Nero. I was here with my friend for his exam. I decided to wait at Costa while he gave his test. I wasn't very excited as I mentioned I love Nero coffee. Sophia the barista was patient enough while I decided which coffee I'd go for. I explained how I like my coffee and Sophia very kindly suggested a few options. I settled with here recommendation of a flat white with hazelnut. I was worried if I would like it and she assured me that she would change it if I didn't like it. To my surprise I loved the coffee. Thanks to Sophia!!! I would consider having coffee at Costa only because of Sophia. She is indeed an asset to the organisation. Thanks to Karolina who was very polite with my requests as well. Thank you very much for a lovely experience.

Well organised, clean, friendly staffs

Having a coffee shop on my way to university was such a bonus especially for 9am classes. I was able to order from my phone with the app and it was ready to collect from the shop. Loved that app service! The only reason I give it 4 is because of the cleanliness of the bathroom and the delay in queues due to slow customer service but other than that it's a nice warm place to sit and relax.

Costa Coffee is everywhere now, even in locations that you would never have thought of. Mile End has changed so much, it used to be fried chicken shops, Middle eastern grocery shops but the whole scene has changed since the London Olympics in 2012. Areas surrounding Stratford have gentrified and with lots of QM students nearby, coffee shops are a must! I only went to Costa Coffee because I wanted to try the caramel hazelnut cake and it was near the uni. Overall, this branch was nice and big. The caramel hazelnut cake just tasted like the standard ready made cakes from the supermarket.

Probably the best staff I have encountered at a costa coffee shop apart from the IMAX at Waterloo. Anyway...lovely comfortable shop coffee was great and friendly staff. Keep up the good work. 👌

Got a toasted vegan sandwich was obviously toasted in a very dirty machine as it was covered in some sort of lemon drizzle sauce and chocolate cake/brownie. This was all smashed into the outer bread of the sandwich and was pretty repulsive on account of the various flavours additional dessert flavours invading the intended smoky and cheesy flavour profile

Wheres the coffee? Could swear my flat white was hot milk!
