Costa coffee in City of London, Westminster

Coffee terrible. Too much milk in a macchiato and cold. Tables sticky. The place never looks or smells clean.

Visité el domingo por la mañana con mi esposo y mi nieta. La gerente femenina fue la más segura que he encontrado, apenas reconociendo a los clientes. Went for a coffee with my daughter...after visiting Covent Garden on a Sunday Morning...surprised it wasn't busy for the amount of tourists around...had a Lovely coffee, chocolate and chat. Would definately go back again.

The coffee at all Costa's is terrible, I'm not sure if it is even worse than Starbucks. Don't drink it.

Good coffee and can personalise them to your liking. Easy and affordable. Lots of seats to sit if you prefer and toilet and baby changing facilities.

Costa is my coffee of choice and I visit the cafes a lot. The coffee was good as usual. The cafe was let down by indifferent service on a not very busy Sunday. Both initial Baristas who served me were rather curt in their manner. The first walked away after I'd paid and showed her disapproval when I asked for a receipt because she had to come back from the sink to give me it. The second didn't give me the extra hot latte I'd asked for, just lukewarm and when I asked for a small hot water for my wife (which I'd ordered) the look she gave was a picture. Even though this cafe is probably mostly tourist trade who'd they'd never see again the staff could at least smile; this service did nothing to enhance Costa's name. The one saving grace is that when the manager appeared she was courteous and had a smile. This bumped what would have been my first 2* review up to 3*.

I purchased two cappuccinos today but when I saw how much coffee she poured inside the cup I was surprised and she filled up to the top only the foam of the milk!!! You pay £2.55 for each cappuccino for medium size and get only small size cappuccinos!!!

Stopped here just for tea and coffee on a Sunday morning. Quite small inside, but were able to find a table. Most other people were using the wifi or reading the Sunday papers.

I am not a coffee drinker, but Costa has a good hot chocolate and a nice selection of snacks and is a wonderful spot for a bit of a rest and to use their free WiFi. And since they are numerous around England ... They provides consistent stop over spot.

one of the best coffees ive ever had we visited costa near to Covent Garden market and we spent there some quality time watching people walking on the streets, drinking cinnamon latte

This is the best coffee shop in town. Also the food is consistently great - we loved the Lemon Cake.
