Costa Coffee in Wyre

Alex greeted me with just the best smile. Just what I needed on a rainy, dismal day. Coffee with hot oat milk was just as good as ever and the place was spotless! Thanks Alex

Lovely to be able to get a decent vegan coffee. My daughter and I love coming here for mother and daughter dates. Always a new option to try which is helpful.

I visit costa every day . To response to the last review of attitude of staff I think he needs to chill . The staff have to shout , otherwise with the coffee machine in use , the music, glass panel at the counter and masks on they would never be heard . Plus people can be hard of hearing . Also I have never found the staff anything other than friendly ,polite and very helpful . They are working at difficult times and to the rules set by costa company themselves , not by the staff . I would like to thank them all for their hard work and keeping costa open . Thanks guys .

The coffee is good here , to be fair at these prices it should be . Its not the coffee that prompted me to write this ....its the attitude of the staff ....I totally get the lengths we have to go to to keep safe during Covid , but is there any need to order a person to stand on a spot next to the till ....when doing so I end up closer to the other customers and staff ! I did politely explain that it would be better to keep 2 meters apart , but was then shouted at ....its a one way system pal ! Strange , as for the last 10 months I have been going this coffee shop and I have always been told to stand and wait for drinks in the exact spot it was not ok to be in today ....bonkers

Been visiting this costa for the past few years. The staff are amazing, friendly, warm and welcoming and always knows our order. Best costa coffee I’ve been in.

My friend and I enjoyed our get together here for a toasted tea cake and coffee and then a nice cup of tea but even though the staff were lovely, the place was cold! Our drinks went cold quickly and my teeth were left chattering.

Great choice of coffee and cakes not cheap but a nice treat at the weekend. It always seems busy a very popular place but clean and tidy will be back next weekend

Visited today, had obviously been a very difficult day in terms of staffing. Hats off to Matt and Matt (from Preston store) who were still smiling and incredibly professional at the end of a very long afternoon. Great service as always in my favourite Costa!!

I visit this Costa quite regularly. What is special is how friendly and attentive the staff are. Clean, warm atmosphere and really good coffee.

I visit this Costa regularly with my young son and we are always greeted and treated warmly. The staff always make a fuss of my son and are patient, helping me bring drinks/ food to my table for me etc. will definitely continue to visit.

Not bad coffee.... but even in a very quiet shop, the teacakes never arrived. Staff seemed to be more interested in chatting to each other and answering mobile phones. Such a pity really!!

We are regular visitors to Costa Coffee in Poulton. It is always busy and sometimes getting a table can be a problem, but the staff are always helpful and pleasant. Costa does nothing fancy but meets the requirements of its loyal customers more than adequately. The range of coffees satisfies the most discerning coffee aficionado, and the selection of available pre-prepared food is sufficient for anyone. The toast and marmalade, served with a morning cup of coffee, deserves a special mention.

New manager needs to pull her socks up, the team there are amazing but unfortunately she doesn't seem to work to their speed or their standards. Needs to work with them to keep up the great reputation the fantastic young team have worked really hard for. Joe, Anthony, Kerry, Jo and of course Craig are amazing!!!!

Love this Costa. Staff make this the best Costa around. Very very friendly and efficient, relaxed atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they truly deserve management recognition for their efforts. Always clean and tables are cleared quickly, queues dealt with as quickly as possible.

Prefer local cafes and wine bars in Poulton, tables often dirty, food overpriced and toilets leave a lot to be desired unfortunately

When shopping in Poulton we usually pop into Costa for coffee and a snack. the staff are very friendly and welcome you like old friends. The coffee is always good as are the pastries.

The staff here seem more efficient than other Costa's I've visited so not as long to queue. Coffee always good

We regularly visit for some of the best made coffee in Poulton!! They make a brilliant soya flat white which I know can be hard to get right with soya - but they certainly know how to make a good one!! Love it with the OPS blend. My wife always absolutely loves the skinny OPS flat white and describes it as her treat of the week!!

i think costa has got wonderfull staff is so friendly and helpful you can get a coffee and piece off cake and a sit down and relaxed

I only had coffee, but it was strong and creamy and full. Staff friendly. Clean and comfortable. The best coffee around.

Most Costas have the same set up and this one is very busy. The young staff are very good - polite and efficient which makes a difference. Nice and clean with good wifi. A good place for a cuppa and a chat.

We go lots to costa so am aware of what they offer. Have to say though that the staff here were particularly friendly and professional. Even the toilets were clean which I have never experienced before in a costa. Very pleased.

Coffee shop busy but found a table. Not too long a wait in the queue and coffee excellent. Enjoyed free WiFi while drinking coffee.

Es un buen café Costa y el personal es amable. Creo que tienes que elegir tu tiempo con cuidado ya que es un café pequeño y difícil de encontrar un asiento, especialmente a la hora del almuerzo. Siempre prefiere ahora para conseguir una toma de distancia y tener en casa porque vivimos localmente. Con costas en general que no sabes lo que te van a dar, ya que hemos refinado y producido su comida y bebida así meticulosamente que estamos encantados de llamada en una vez que encontrar es bueno. Es un outlet buena aquí.

El personal de aquí es un poco en el lado lento en mi opinión. Se destacó por una cola formas hablando mientras fuera de la puerta. Café y pasteles bueno como siempre! Necesidad de orden un poco demasiado, incluso cuando hay mucha gente! !

La semana pasada vinieron para café con mi madre - personal tan encantador y no podría ayudar bastante con la complaciente madre y su silla de ruedas - un miembro en particular - creo que su nombre era jack - oscuro de pelo. Muy educado y muy servicial. Sin duda volveremos.

Had the usual coffee here today,cappuccino,no chocolate on.Had one of the muffins for a change which was okay.Quite busy when I went in so couldn't get my preferred seat looking out,still good to have a change.Staff friendly.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff make this one of the nicest Costas in the area. The food is good and the coffee excellent, especially the flat whites!The place is always clean and welcoming.

Good coffee and good service. However, it was very cold in there as the air conditioning was on full. It was warmer outside!

A standard Costa that offers all the usual and is nice enough inside though the lack of outside facilities is a negative. Quite a small place and at busy periods seats are at a premium and queues are big. Could do to expand and make provision for outside too.

As by the standards of other Costa Coffee shops, this is excellent, the staff are very helpful and friendly and as well as an immense range of coffees, you can also purchase cookies, cakes and other snacks. There is also free Wifi and ample seating.

Love Costa in general...creature of habit...so generally know what I'm having!!! Costa Poulton is very accessible and always a lovely atmosphere. Food and drink always very good.

Have been to Costas many times. Great place for a quick coffee and a chat. Always very busy, but the young staff work hard to keep the throughput going. Good atmosphere.

I like Costa and I like this one, as its my local one. Having said that I often walk by due to the queue to be served, a consequence of the success I assume. Friendly, often noisy as most coffee shops are, consistent quality though. Shame there is often a queue of six or more people waiting to be served meaning I won't bother to visit.

costa always delivers the same great latte.the staff are always very welcomg & helpful.I would say the air con is a little too cold for my liking but worth sitting with my coat on for the oat & raisan biscuits

Called in today for cappuccino and cake,like to sit near the front window if possible to watch what's going on outside.Usual good service and great coffee.Like the toast here as well,white not the brown.

I visit here on a regular basis. Order my cappuccino and a cake and sit and either read the newspapers provided for customers use or surf the net using the free wifi. It is comfortable and air conditioned with good facilities. The staff are very friendly and professional and efficient.

Usual Costa lot a coffee. Not a comfortable atmosphere and sometimes very noisy. Products like cakes etc are obviously mass market made and expensive. disliked experience.

It's our local coffee house ...staff are super efficient friendly and welcoming ...coffee cakes sandwiches always good quality ..highly recommend a visit ..such a fabulous addition to poulton ..visit at least 4 times a week for my caffeine boost !!!!!!!

They really take pride on their coffee and have a wide selection. The staff are always engaging and the atmosphere is always upbeat and it can get quite busy. I think the coffee and food can be overpriced personally and you can get nicer or on par coffee for a lot cheaper. However, it is nice to meet people there and have some coffee and a catch up.

Well organised and speedy service in a very busy branch of Costa. Very personable staff, always remember your order, spotlessly clean.

All hot food, hot, all cakes tasty, coffee is very good. The service is excellent and if you can not manage, the staff will bring your food to your table. But it does get very busy at peak times and as a regular, it is disappointing not to be able to get a table sometimes.

I love popping in to get a coffee etc because the staff are always so friendly, upbeat and welcoming. This is the advantage this Costa has over others in the group and other cafes in Poulton. I would definitely recommend it for its excellent range of drinks, sandwiches and cakes and then the service is the icing on the cake.

I have not reviewed here before because I wanted to visit several times. The staff are always friendly and the Manager is worth his weight in gold. He is so helpful and remembers a lot of his customers when they visit but more to the point no matter how busy he gets he always says goodbye as you leave.

There are Costa Coffee shops all around the country and the formula is standard. But this place has a gold standard advantage over any others I have visited and that is the staff who are consistently welcoming, friendly and very efficient.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and seem to know what drink each one of the regulars like. Good location to be able to park and meet friends.

The team at this Costa (all guys!) have a great attitude and their customer service is second to none. There is the usual Costa range of drinks, sandwiches and cakes etc but it is the staff that make a visit here special. I recently asked for a coffee and one of their "jaffa cakes", pointing at the last one on the plate. Unfortunately, the server realised that it was on the wrong plate and was a chocolate teacake which I didn't want...no more jaffa cakes. When I'd finished my coffee I took my tray back to the counter & spotted a pile of said jaffa cakes! They had just been delivered and I joshed the guy who had served me, saying "well, I like that...look at all those now". He told me to hang on, went into the back room and came out with one jaffa cake in a sealed bag,which he gave to me with no charge.A rambling story but it illustrates how good the staff are there. Highly recommended.
