Absolutely horrific experience. 2hrs from order to delivery. And completely the wrong order. And the coffee was cold. Never again

Costa is Costa is Costa. It's a corporate concept owned by big business and will never evolve outside the limited imagination of its management board. They don't sell coffee because they're connoisseurs who love making the stuff. They mostly love making a lot of money. Not a bad coffee experience, just not particularly interesting.

Such a nice small costa shop with hospitable staff, used the drive thru service

Called in a 9am on foot, grabbed a chai latte and plain croissant, staff were polite, and it wasn't very busy. Overall the place looked clean and tidy.

No back ground music just other people's cinversation

Didn’t come. Was delivered to the house next door, they gave it back and the driver just left without checking the address again.

We were served by a lovely person called Jorgia I was very impressed with her outstanding customer service, very kind and nice. A big asset to Costa.

Fantastic staff. We popping for a coffee while on the way home with the dog, Jorgia was working and was kind enough to offer our pup a puppacino! Such a lovely considerate gesture! Certainly brightened up our day and made a little dog very happy! Thanks costa and thanks Jorgia!!

We visited the site for our usual morning coffee and toast. We were served by Jorgia who is always very friendly and caring. It is very nice to be met by great staff who recognise the regulars and offer great service.

It id not my favorite coffee shop. Cleanliness leader much to be desired. Often the tables are dirty and full of dirty Fisher.

The large chain is well oiled, nothing special but it is stable coffee not cheap either.

First time visit, had a nice latte all very pleasant...

One of the better Costa’s around usually come here when en route to Oxford, never had a bad experience or been let down with any drinks ordered, which to be fair is probably the only one of many I’ve tried that have managed to always be consistent.

I go here a lot and the staff are always really friendly and helpful, very accommodating with different alternative milks, plus they always make a great chai latte :)

Asked for our table to be cleaned from the previous families absolutely nobody came. The floor is littered with food and wrappers nothing is cleared or cleaned from tables absolute disgusting will not ever return I’ve seen a lot cleaner truck stops! Fact!

Coffee excellent Service not good

Great tasting coffee, quickly served by friendly staff. Didn’t visit the toilets, but the cafe seemed clean. Would have given excellent rate but for the 70 cigarette butts which littered the outside seating areas. Talked to the friendly manager about their problem with toxic non biodegradable butts and hopefully Head Office will sort out more appropriate bins. We will be back.

Dirty tables and coffee wasn't very hot

Back using Costa since they changed their Oat Milk and built one on my doorstep. Being disabled the offer to bring my order to my table was a nice touch I use it on a regular basis no complaints so far.

Great drinks but is getting a bit too expensive for sarnies, snacks & cakes.

This Costa is seemingly ran by students who don’t prioritise customer service. Many of the staff are just wondering around whilst the 2 baristas are dealing with most of the orders. No used plates/mugs are picked up from the tables and I got a horrible look from a member of staff when asked if they can take it. Shocking. Don’t reccomend.

The tables and order of the floor are filthy! The floor not been swept properly in a long time and the table could all do with a good clean!

Just off motorway junction. Great place to drop into for a coffee en route.

Not a bad place to stop for a quick coffee on a very long drive. I thought the gingerbread latte usually comes with a gingerbread biscuit, but we weren't given any.

This is a good spot to grab a coffee if you’re on the M3 and heading up to london or somewhere far away. Not that far off the motorway to go and quick and easy to grab a drink. Download the Costa app and you’re away with free drinks that build up every now and then!

Dreadful service. Staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there and lacked basic manners. When telling them our order they didn’t even ask what size we wanted and when we told them they just chose whatever size they wanted anyway. Didn’t even look at us when handing our drinks over or even acknowledging that we were there.

Poor service. Staff couldn’t even speak to us. Didn’t say how much the total bill was, didn’t offer any sugar or sauce. The guy was too busy flirting with the other members of staff to communicate to us.

Coffee acceptable, staff barely acknowledge me, just put coffee on the counter, without saying whose it was. Toliets are poor one out of service and one dirty with no paper or hand wash. Feel sorry for the staff as run off their feet and not enough of them.

Soggy overpriced cheese on toast

Went here with my granddaughter after school. I was served through a small window and so, having a few items in my hands, I waited for them to be scanned and then placed them in the counter to the left, to receive a huge ‘eye roll’ from the server - I’m sorry but juggling isn’t one of my skills. I picked up my black coffee to find it filled to the brim and with a loose lid so boiling coffee then went on me, the counter and the floor. The male server said nothing and didn’t ask if I was ok, just got blue roll and wiped the counter. He left the floor despite me pointing out that it was wet. Whilst waiting for our drinks we noticed the chap behind who explained that his drink didn’t taste quite right and the same server asked “and what would you like me to do about that!” To which the man said “change it!”. When we took a seat we noticed the floor was dirty with sandwich crusts and crumbs and to be honest I’ve been in better transport cafes. Never again.

Myself and a couple of colleagues from the hospital went to the costa and are regular visitors. When we were being served we asked specifically for a de-caf coffee. When the costas were given to us, I asked which one was de-caf and the gentleman told me none of them. A wrong order is annoying but not the end of the world. What shocked me was the fact that the gentleman who served me, picked up the cup with the wrong order and in anger threw us aggressively into the bin. This isn’t the first time one of our colleagues have had a bad experience with this gentleman who was serving us. It was just disappointing.

Didn't want to drive thru (lazy) so went in to the shop. Could see two or three employees behind the counter and round the back talking to each other. Waited for 2 or 3 minutes but drill no sign of life so gad to shout loudly if anyone was serving. Someone appeared with a headset and disappeared again. Came back a couple of mins later to take my order of one large latte to take away. She disappeared again and someone else appeared with my drink, plonked it on the counter, said "large latte", turned around and walked away. No please or thank you or enjoy your drink (I didn't as it was luke warm and not even hot)......very poor experience and very poor customer service and as a customer I felt as if I was an inconvenience ....not the first time I've been to this store either.....I will give it the benefit of the doubt and return on one more occasion to see if its improved.....if not then I will never return again and find somewhere else to spend my hard earned money ....somewhere that appreciates their customers.....MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

Not to be confused with the Costa Coffee on the main High Street, this branch is located on Easton Lane and has a drive through or sit down options. We chose to sit down, Ordering was a challenge there was 3 staff all busy doing something behind the counter, I was not acknowledged or served & there was no one else queueing. I was just about to walk out when a staff member came over. I placed our order, and requested that any one of the free tables to be cleared as all were stacked high with previous customers cups, saucers and various orders. I was told that they were short staffed and would clear them when they could. Needless to say, we drank our coffee and left quickly. Very disappointed with the customer service and cleanliness, we will not return.

Not for the first time, I visited the drive thru today and ordered an OAT milk Coffee due to Dairy allergy. Drove away and when I tried the drink it was regular milk!! Costa really HAVE to get this right in the drive thru! There’s no number to ring to let them know it’s happened AGAIN! And impossible to drive back on the way to an appointment. Customers order dairy alternative for a reason, I’m disgusted that they get this wrong, over and over again!

Had my usual coffee and tuna melt but the toilets are a disgrace. Not clean. Should be male and female and guy dodnt even lock door .. or flush which made my experience even more horrifying. Please costa separate toilets into gender and make sure they are checked regularly and maintained!

Utterly uninspiring place. Coffee is fine - it's Costa after all and their business model works but that's more an indictment on us. It's just so shabby after only 7 or 8 months since the refurbishment. The photo shows a table that was uncleared for 25 minutes. Think this is the final straw for me.

We popped in for breakfast from the premier opposite to this light purpose built facility. Popular workplace and meeting point. Good faculty with the normal quality products and separate barista's and machine for the drive through.

IMPORTANT - Review of Costa in retail park off Leicester Way next to Easton Lane. NOT the Costa in Tesco or the Costa Express in Shell petrol station. Some reviews refer to nearby but slightly diff locations. This is the best Costa in my area. I travel 16 miles to this Costa because it's quieter than any one of the six in my local town. You can actually read and concentrate or chat without raising your voice. Good for business meetings. Friendly staff, easy parking, near motorway junction, excellent meeting spot. Without doubt my favourite Costa. Just trying to persuade my wife it's worth calling in. Just two criticisms if I may:Please change the music! Always seems to be vocal pop tunes with high-pitched voices. Loud & penetrating and completely unnecessary (applies to ALL Costas). Why can't it be varied? Jazz is perfect background for relaxing with coffee, some classical is fine. Just not the same tired pop music all the time every visit PLEASE.Secondly, Why does the coffee go cold quickly? I drink black americano and before you know it it's cooling down and you've lost some of it. Bit of a puzzle that one. Keep up the good work Costa, off Leicester Way, Winchester. Thank you.

Usually call in to Costa at Tesco two or three times a week. Recently refurbished along with a number of other Costas locally. We usually sit overlooking the Tesco store a noticed of late the glass 'screening' is very mucky. Sitting at our usual table it looked rather like the same smart finger marks were on the glass for days. Sat at another table where similarly there were runs on the glass. Difficult to photograph. Otherwise all good.

We had breakfast here although staying in the premiere inn which is close by breakfast there is expensive so we had porridge and toast at Costa and of course a nice coffee at half the price of the prem inn. it was clean and tidy and good service.

Fuimos a esta Costa por encima de Tesco dos mañanas seguidas. El baño estaba tan sucio que mi compañero tuvo que limpiarlo antes de que pudiera usarlo en ambas ocasiones. ¡Tesco está a cargo de la limpieza y alguien necesita el saco! Los niveles de bacterias deben estar fuera de escala. El contenedor no había estado vacío por dos mañanas, ya que todavía había un par de pantalones sucios y pañales sucios en la basura, repugnante. El personal de Costa fue muy amable, pero parece que no tienen responsabilidades en los controles de baño. Demasiado ocupado. Me quejé con el gerente de servicio de Tesco, pero este inodoro no se ha limpiado correctamente durante meses: desagradable y deficiente gestión. Las sillas altas también estaban sucias. No volveré a esta Costa.

Ahora he decidido pedir siempre que mi blanco plano sea fuerte y caliente, de lo contrario la variación entre tomas será un problema. Winchester High Street y también en Tesco Winnall parecen producir un blanco plano no muy caliente y demasiado lechoso. Winchester High Street se siente algo desordenada y desorganizada. Yo no; lo encuentro un ambiente muy acogedor / confortable. Me gustaría ver una actualización.

Have visited twice recently and each time my beloved flat white is extremely milky and the coffee taste not very strong - more like a latte. On the second occasion the coffee could have been hotter too. Disappointing....
