Costa Coffee in Milton Keynes

Very nice place to go to. The staff are very nice. Great seating areas in and around the shop! Toilets are also well maintained and located in a good position! Great place overall

I’m a regular at the Costa Coffee in Newton Leys, stopping by every morning before work, and Mario always makes my visit a highlight of the day! His customer service is outstanding—he greets everyone with a warm smile and remembers my usual order, which adds such a personal touch to my experience. The coffee is always spot-on, and Mario’s attention to detail and efficiency ensure I’m never kept waiting, even during the busy morning rush. It’s clear that he cares about delivering a great experience, and his positive attitude makes my mornings brighter. Huge thanks to Mario for consistently going above and beyond!

Standard Costa shop, sandwich and snack offer needs an upgrade.

I arrived at 11:30 . I went to wait for my car mot , brought work and was going to buy lunch but it was too early due to being 11:30. I also do not drink tea or coffee so I had a water while I waited till I was hungry. The manager maro came up and asked me to leave the coffee shop after 20 minutes as it was paying customers and I had to buy something to stay. I advised I don’t drink tea or coffee and I was going to buy lunch but at 11:45 it was too early. He advised other paying customers did not have a sit so I had 15 minutes more left. I advised I would be leaving as he was asking me to leave. He advised he didn’t ask me to leave and simply following Costa coffee policy and I could stay 15 more minutes if I did not buy something. I advise he was asking me to leave , and I would go and buy my lunch somewhere else. He asked me infront of everyone and was very loud about it. He made it very clear how he felt and it was embarrassing. He did not ask to speak to me quietly to one side or deal with it professionally. I would not recommend. When I asked for the policy , he said they were in the website and I would have to look at it that way. Avoid.

I just went for a coffee and as usual, Costa is Costa!

Always come to this costa either the weekends or weekdays to try the new stuff Today I tried the hot milkshake It’s very thick and tastes more like hazelnut then chocolate but it is very delicious but sickly quite quick If you like thick milkshakes then this is a go to

I arrived at 3:40 pm on 2nd December and the shop was closed. There was no sign on the door with opening hours, it was removed. Working hours says until 4 pm. Workers already were cleaning the place and the door was shut. What is the point of having the working hours on Google until 4 pm if you close 20 minutes prior.

Went in on the the weekend, such friendly and nice staff! Really helpful with some questions around allergies. Nice Christmas themed hot chocolates.

Charlie is a amazing lad who’s kind polite and very cheerful he’s always the first to say morning and makes a banging cup of coffee don’t think costa would be as good without him well done Charlie

Costa Coffee Newton Leys has a sign on the door as to its opening and closing times. This is fiction. They close when they want. Really annoying as I bring my mother from the care home

Prices are Scandalous for just a Coffee.

Lovely shop the men gives first class service and are very friendly love the coffee and food in coffee shop and toilet are always clean. The guys are very swift making the coffee and this Costas is my favourite coffee shop. 5 stars from me!

Very disappointed to be told today a warm day "we are not doing Frappes today as it causes too much washing up". There were 2 staff that I could see and it wasn't busy.

MK little secret. Quiet and lovely normally pop in here for a milkshake. Can sit in the sun 🪑🪑🌻🌻🌻 gets some beams outside. Put some nice artificial trees outside would be awesome

Last week I placed a pick up order from Costa so I could get home and we could have lunch. Got asked to review the service. Being an experienced mystery shopper, I gave them a full constructive version, with plenty of stuff that honestly could have been better..... It seems the information got through to the member of staff who was on duty alone today...got there and my order was in two neat bags, so much easier to carry. The staff member INSISTED on taking the drinks and escorting me to the car..... Then proceed to advise me that in future if I wanted a door to door service I should use Uber eats or just eat. That he wasn't even allowed to leave the shop as he was on his own... I thanked him, explained I was on my way home and didn't find getting home to then have to get up to answer the door wasn't what I as the customer wanted to do. I asked him to stop talking.... As he got to the car, a little dog trotted over, possibly sent from Heaven to delay me even more? He is STILL babbling on about how he wasn't supposed to leave the shop unattended... I HADN'T EVEN ASKED HIM TO! I suggested he stop digging his hole even deeper. He still didn't take the hint... He was still muttering as he walked back to the shop... Then I heard him say I shouldn't come back because he would refuse to serve me. Not a problem sunshine... His response was to tell me to F*ck Off!

Sorry to say this but whilst till service was very good (by Luigi) the rest was very very poor....made lots of mistakes in the making of the coffee (wrong milk,kept asking what i wanted then ignored me..spillt it all over the place so messy and slooooow. ). Cafe needed a good clean too...coffee was OK in the end

There was no toast available, the server forgot if we had said drinking in or takeaway and caramel syrup wasn't added to the coffee we asked for. Couldn't check the receipt to see if we had been charged for the syrup as we weren't offered a receipt. None of the staff were friendly.

They were short staffed and planned to close early but allowed us to enter and complete the meeting that had been planned to help a friend complete a home purchase. Very accommodating and welcoming. Great staff/stuff!

Always a good experience, However I think they have new staff. Ordered a frappe with my own cup and I had a dome lid with me as I know when they add the cream it comes above the rim of the cup. On this occasion I did not get discount for using my own cup, there was a lump of ice in the bottom and the frappe with cream came below the rim! Rather disappointing.

Quite a large Costa but always short staffed so the wait time inside and on the drive thru can be painful at times, even if it's not particularly busy. Good location and ample parking though, just needs more reliable staff.

Great drinks made by professional staff very quick, and very tasteful. They have set out very clear Covid-19 rules, including a sign in QR code, to help identify people in case of an outbreak. This Costa Coffee, although smaller than most, also offers outdoor seating which only adds to this great place.

Very good CoViD safety precautions, including ensuring customers are socially distanced, and friendly staff. Drinks and cakes were just what we needed :)

Poor coffee couldn't drink it had to bin it. Never had this before from Costa...the young woman that made it boiled the milk so much it went everywhere because she wasn't watching what was going on.... Couldn't drink it for at least 10 mins after driving off...in the bin it went.

We ended up two weeks ago in this Costa with some friends and kids on a Sunday for a late afternoon coffee. Closing time was 4.30 pm and we arrived at 4. From the first sights of the Staffs we understood immediately we were not the welcome...we immediately noticed that the staff was busy in the preparation of the ‘imminent’ closure. A disgusting bucket with dirty water and a broom was left in front of the display making difficult visualize the croissants and pastries! One of the kids unintentionally hit the broom which fell off...another bad sight from the staff. When was the time to order the lady on the till mechanically input the items without asking clarification on size or items. When the order came in there was lots of errors. My wife got the coffee of a different size. I ordered an hazelnut hot chocolate and I got an hazelnut latte! When I made clear to the barista that this was not what I ordered I had another bad sight and he mouned something. We had our drinks and we left the place punctually for the closing time at 4.30 all very upset about the staff attitude! Sorry but that’s the worst customer experience I had ever I in a Costa Cofee!!! Lots to improve about the staff attitude here!

It's an ok Costa coffee shop. Don't expect the same as you get from others as they don't stock all items and don't do many of the combo deals. Service is ok but not great. It us a new store so hopefully in time it will improve.

Staff are polite and shop is clean and tidy. There is an outside seating area which is nice in the summer, along with a cosy interior with good aircon.

Love now I've got one on my door step. Love their hot chocolate,with whipped cream and marshmallows accompanied with a delicious slice of millionaires shortbread. "What's not too love".

Went for breakfast while I was passing through. Never been before. Nicely situated in a quiet area near a new estate. Easy parking and good outside seating area. No almond croissants (really struggling to find any at Costas while I've been away travelling!). Friendly staff and good service though.
