Las Iguanas - Milton Keynes in Milton Keynes

Lovely meal before our night out at Las Iguanas in Milton Keynes. Food was very tasty, great atmosphere and good customer service. We did have to wait a bit for service at some points but overall was a good evening.

Food: amazing, everything tasted delicious, the portions were bigger than expected. Bottomless tapas is such a good deal Service: our server was so sweet and really lovely. Mayya is the best Atmosphere: I love the restaurant, it has outdoor seating which would be perfect in summer

Bottomless brunch slow service. Watered down drinks. Not able to order next one until the previous one had gone and then taking ages to make them. Served in a tumbler metal or glass. Taste different each time. Turtle bay a much better choice!

Mayya was incredibly friendly and made our visit great

Food was ok, ambience was flat very quite and would think due to 241 cocktails being limited hours and rest of establishments in hub was all day 241. The most annoying thing was the service the waitress couldn't care less in getting our orders, chucked the bill on the table, very rude and when we paid not a single thank you, managers should seek better staff, easily can lose customers and future business by ignorant staff with no customer care. Terrible experience, won't be going again.

Las Iguanas MK provided an outstanding experience, we visited for valentine's day and the staff were amazing from start to finish. The manager on shift joked with us and made us feel welcomed. Many of the staff read the message we left for them in advance on our booking which just shows that hospitality isn't dead, it's well and truly alive at this Mexican style restaurant. The cocktails were 10/10 and 2 for 1 - strong enough and very flavourful. The Tapas dishes were great and we were huge fans of the patatas bravas, the calamari and the cheese empanadas. When it came to allergies, things were well explained to us and repeated often, they were friendly and even though they were busy we got the impression that they were very organised. Thank you again. Family impromptu visit today and fabulous late lunch - loved all the tapas dishes which we had for starters and the curry main dishes were delicious!

We came for a birthday brunch for our friends birthday. A couple of us did bottomless and some just ordered off the regular menu. The food was lovely and the drinks were great! Service was amazing, Mayya took care of us and made sure we always had a fresh drink! Would recommend 🩷🩷

Myself and my partner love the food here. It's always prepared quickly, presented beautifully and tastes amazing! The staff are always super friendly and helpful, the restaurant always has a good atmosphere (even if it is a little on the loud side sometimes!) and it's always really clean. 10/10 every time!

Short version: Atmosphere - not much Service - lacking Food - similar to a Sainsbury’s microwave ready meal Value - expensive for the quality and small portions I used to be a regular visitor to the MK Las Iguanas, but went less and less over the past few years as the soul of the restaurant seams to have leached away the longer the current owners of the brand have been in control. Decided to give it another go on a Saturday. The waitress who met us at the door was cheery enough, but we were not able to sit in the main restaurant as it was fully booked apparently (was 2/3 full). So we had the choice of an empty bar or outside. A waiter finally came over. He was hardly a bundle of joy. There was none of the sense of fiesta or impeccable service I used to love about Las Iguanas. The food was very disappointing. I had a curry. It was a small portion and was of similar quality to a Sainsbury’s ready meal. Lacking any depth of flavour that I was hoping for. For about £17.50 I was very disappointed. I relayed this to the waiter, who grunted at me.

I dinned with my family at MK Las Iguanas. As a very pedantic person, I thought the service was great. He had a lovely gentleman called Adam who served us who was friendly and very helpful. The food was very good, but I was expecting my ribs to me warmer when brought to me, despite this, it was very tasty. Background Music was very much pleasant and not too loud. Good and relaxed atmosphere

It was such a great place,Lewis is such an angel best service he gave us,he attended to us until we were done with our bottomless brunch .L highly recommend them

Great atmosphere when we went midweek. Food was good and the drink options were plentiful. A little tip for people driving in the evening… parking nearby is free in the purple zone after 6pm.

Only 4 starts as the music is mega loud We came here for the first time and the food was lovely and I would like to come again and bring family but its not great for wanting to talk while eating if there is more than 2 of u as u have to lean in over table and raise voice Would be good if they could have 2 areas with differing volumes. If I was in the bar solely enjoying cocktails which are delish I wud love the atmosphere of the music as its great , but while sitting and eating it could do with being a notch lower to allow people to talk and eat and enjoy music All that said the cocktails and food was lovely and I would eat here again

Sharon was fantastic at service and very welcoming

Went for a bottomless brunch with my partner and the staff were so attentive. Will served us and made sure we were always seen to and served new drinks and the whole team were so good about my intolerances and helped me work around them and offered me variations to ensure I didn’t miss out.

My mum and I went for Bottomless Tapas and despite only having 1 hour because of our late arrival, the experience was lovely. Service was speedy even though I believe there were only 2 waiters on the floor. Food was lovely as well, my fave was the Lemon Chipotle Shrimp

A family party was ruined by the impolite, uncaring attitude of our allocated waiters. Front of the house was lovely and helpful on arrival but went downhill from then on. The highlights were: waiter nearly made the birthday girl cry; a squashed set up of mismatched sticky and wobbly tables in 2 areas for a party of 28; not an ounce of banter or cheer from the waiters; birthday cake came out but for plates and then forks had to hunt the waiter down twice. Total lack of attentiveness. Food was okay, but again no one came to check if anyone wanted a drink or anything else. Finally, we had no choice in allocating service fee as it’s included in the bill. Very disappointing experience overall.

Came in due to the great music, was greeted by Sharon and a huge smile on her face! Served insanely good drinks along with promoting their own brand gin (Which is lovely!! And I highly recommend) but honestly our experience was made by Sharon and her constant smile :) she is a huge credit to our experience and the company!

Went for valentines and had a great waitress, she was talkative and was really helpful with everything, at the end I asked if she could right a message on the dessert plate and she went out of her way to make sure it was done and I was so pleased

I came here on my birthday for the bottomless tapas. When we arrived, we were informed that the heating was broken. It was absolutely freezing and not enjoyable. I stayed in my coat as I have made other arrangements before travelling there.

The best experience at Las Iguanas ! We had the bottomless tapas and drinks and was such a good experience. Mayya made it great, so attentive and friendly. The whole team on shift were amazing, couldn’t fault any of them. They all worked really hard and made it a lovely time for all guests. Not to forget the chefs and bar staff who produced lovely food and drinks! Thank you!

Food was served stupidly quickly (less than 10 mins) which would normally be a bonus but in this case it was obviously all microwaved to an inch of its life and thrown out. Zero flavour or taste to it and it was lukewarm by the time it got to us which was even more concerning! Wouldn’t recommend this. Get better quality and value in a Wetherspoons.

Arrived at lunch for the 'bottomless tapas" was told we had to book because how popular it is and they would get busy . Asked if we can go outside and book on line , was told no it had to he 4 hrs in advance. We decided to eat there anyway..order some tapas. Food was ok average. Had to wait for 25mins for someone to clear our table , we had to ask . What annoyed me the most is that the restaurant was empty . There were about 5/6 tables with people on it so it was very quiet. And our bill came to £53. Because we didn't book and couldn't have the bottomless tapas ..but the restaurant was empty.

Booked table for unlimited tapas, 90min time limit, only allow to order 3 tapas for a table of 4 each time, waited 40min for the first 3 tiny portion to arrive, finished within couple of minute, ordered again another 40-50min wait, everyone in my table is extremely hungry and frustrated, they claim they are too busy but the restaurant is half full, if they are unable to handle it they shouldn’t provide a unlimited option with a time limit

This is the second time I have visited this restaurant in MK, and again thoroughly enjoyed my food (chicken burrito this time - it was very good). We visited on a very busy evening, with families and groups, but the staff were great and very professional. Particular thanks must go to Mayya who served myself and my colleague. She was attentive, and despite being so busy made polite and patient service look effortless. It helped make a most pleasant evening - thank you!

Recently went for a brunch here. We had Will as our server and he was brilliant! A real example of brilliant service the whole time we were there. Constantly checking on us and taking our drink order, even chose our last drink! He is a real asset to the team. The food was lovely and the music and atmosphere was brilliant. Will be back again!

Great experience love the food and cocktails just the slowness of getting your drinks was a bit frustrating. But apart from that it was a lovely evening.

I originally booked a table for 8:30 PM through the website but, feeling quite hungry, I called the restaurant to see if an earlier slot was available. They confirmed a 7:30 PM slot and even sent me a confirmation message. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, they outright denied my 7:30 PM booking and insisted I wait until 8:30 PM. To make matters worse, after placing our order, we waited a ridiculous 50 minutes for starters that never arrived. Frustrated, we decided to leave without eating. The service was utterly incompetent, and the staff showed no effort in managing customers.

We were served by a waitress named Mayya who was absolutely lovely, made sure we were comfortable and checked back with us a couple of times with such patience whilst we were deciding our food order, giving recommendations on cocktails and food! Went here for a Xmas do. Staff were very welcoming and did all good. Food was fine as well.

The whole team were amazing, and very patient with us as there were quite a few of us and people kept moving about so was hard to deliver their food to them. Sophie in particular was lovely, extremely accommodating and no request was too big for her. Last year we held our Christmas party at another chain similar and had no end of problems so I was a little anxious this year however the team took all the worry away from me and were superstars throughout the night.

The food was lovely. Good portions and tasty. We had booking for three of us. I didn’t catch his name but boy with blond hair was very helpful with my drinks request. He was a host I think, maybe supervisor or manager. Very friendly and helpful attitude.
