Always get a take away coffee from here, staff are always nice.

A Costa in beautiful and convenient shopping mall. Friendly staff and Costa quality. Washroom access is a big plus but it could would enhance customer experience if it receives some attention every now and then.

Sometimes a smile and a “good morning” can be all you need to welcome the day. The team at Queens Cost Coffee always brighten my day. Working at a hospital can sometimes test ones mettle, but the NHS is built on good will, hope and community spirit and these qualities are in evidence in the staff at Queens and in the Costa coffee shop.

I haven't been in this Costa for a while as it's not clean in there at all,I did a review before about this but obviously nobody has taken any notice.I went to sit at a table with the soft bucket seats,there was crisps all over the seats and old food all round the seat back so I got some paper napkins and cleaned it all off so I could sit.I use many Coffee Shops in Solihull but this is the worst for cleanliness,there's dust on the wood surrounds and light shades.Don't know how they get away with it with serving food.

the employees are so friendly and welcoming, i’m always doing my work there every week since it has a such nice atmosphere. the tropical mango bubble frappe and lemon drizzle loaf are my personal favourites, really recommend it! :) However, as a regular customer i’ve noticed that the lady with the red hair and tattoos on her arms is a bit rude, i had an peach iced tea which she made and was too watered down with ice. I told her that is there anything to sweeten the flavour and she asked whether i wanted more ice? It was a little busy at the time but that gives no excuse to act cheeky. Since then i don’t go inside if i see her, other than that everybody else is very kind which is what i admire

Staff polite even though its was a very busy at the time I went. They only had seats outside, but that was ok. Rolo cup cake was dry and was that good, lucky I got it for £1.

Came in to buy my children a hot chocolate which was really nice and filled up nicely. Had a lovely chat and a laugh with the staff when it was quiet for a couple of minutes before it got a bit busy. Tables were clean. Also kindly gave my children a sandwich that was going to waste otherwise. So much better service than the one in Acocks Green. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff.

Very cramped inside long queue this facility is simply not big enough I'd say probably the smallest Costa in the UK. Staff fab facility drab needs to move to a larger facility or a least a makeover

Very busy during a morning visit today. Only a trainee serving customers, people queuing out the door.. tattooed red haired female faffing about, eventually she started serving. She made a me a terrible coffee and literally threw it down on the tray. I had requested a mocha with choc, my drink was thrown onto my tray without choc. When I recalled her over the missing choc, she came over and dusted my drink and tray, literally threw choc all over! See photo. Passive aggressive racist vibes. Avoid, I won't be spending here again.

Food good, service ok, and always a tidy place to sit and take 10m from shopping. Great location, busy and always queue's at peak times. It's a small location so seating can be difficult to get.

The worst Costa I have ever been in… staff are mess and unprofessional. Counter top looked like a disaster zone. While staff moan and groan about the job! Staff training required asap!

Never had service like today, very very slow service, they are talking each other and covering one order, where other person can easily take people order we waiting to serve about 20min. Date 14th Nov at between 14:00 to 14:30

I visited late Friday evening whilst waiting for my husband. Despite it being late, there was a large queue in front of me though some people left rather than waiting any longer in the queue. There were two members of staff working. The lady was clearly getting worked up, making mistakes, telling the other member of staff off. To keep it simple I ordered a mint tea as that just involves dunking a tea bag in hot water. The two people behind me got served first and I was left waiting despite them having more complex drinks. When I could finally get the waitresses attention I asked her for a refund as I could not wait any longer. In fairness, she did agree to a refund and gave me the drink also. The staff are clearly stressed and not coping very well. Not a nice experience for anyone to witness staff just falling apart.

I love Costa and visit all the time, this store I do like a lot because I sit outside and watch people walking by while drinking my coffee .and the service is very good, I do like all the Costa stores and always have to visit one in every place I visit.

Usual friendly and efficient service. All tables cleared when vacated. Only one drink unavailable, but not one which I would have chosen.

Tables are not clean, but service is fast but not always made to the correct instructions eg a drink for take out was given in a glass

This afternoon (7th July) at 15:00h, I visited Costa Coffee inside Touchwood Mall (SOLIHULL- Inside the mall). My wife and I checked the cakes and wanted to order. So we asked the lady at the cashier (lady with tattoos ) to come to show her what we would like to order. I was really shocked from her response; she said: “You come here, can’t you see where is the cashier?!”. I felt it is very rude from her, so asked her again calmly to go to select the cake we want. She then said: “can’t you read the cake name? All of it are labeled” I tried to stay calm as well as my wife until this lady said that we are stupid and rude. During the years being customer to Costa Coffee, I have never been insulted like today; I don’t expect to be treated that way. Every time I visit Costa Coffee, I feel welcomed and nicely treated. But today, I was really very disappointed. I left the shop without ordering and the only thing this lady said is: “Even better”! I don’t know what is her problem or how was her day or maybe she is racist! No idea. The only thing I know is that as a Costa Coffee client, I need to be treated with respect. I went outside the mall to the other Costa Coffee branch and had my coffee and saw huge difference. Smiling welcoming faces…

A busy branch that is kept well organised and tidy. Staff are hard working and helpful and the branch offers the usual range of Costa products.

Lovely friendly staff. Their coffee is the most expensive among the major High Street coffee providers.

Lady with Tattoos (I believe the manager) got ridiculously angry when I asked for a fork.. swore at me under her breath.. then I said thank you and she ignored me.. saw several other customers laugh on their way out saying she’s bullying everyone including co workers today. She needs to get herself checked out before being put in a managerial position. Disgusting behavior, I’ll take my business to Starbucks, where I’m not bullied for asking for help. 0 stars if I could. Do not feel safe or comfortable near this freak of a human.

Wednesday 1 June 2022, My friend and I met for a day out shopping in Solihull. Our first port of call was to ‘Costa’ Coffee’ in Touchwood Shopping Centre, where we went for breakfast. We entered and found a nice table for two. We both had white toast perfectly browned with butter and marmalade, which was really nice and we both had hazelnut latte’s which set us up for our shopping spree. We spent a nice hour here chatting and enjoying the atmosphere.

I meet up with a friend every now and again and always go to Costa in Touchwood. We each usually have 2 latte coffees and stay about an hour. On the last 2 occasions before we've left the table a young man has come and sprayed and wiped our table which us all well and good but surely that should be done once we leave. Service usually pretty good

Small interior which can feel cramped at times. Not much room to queue inside, so queues are often out the door at busy times. Other than that, same great Costa Coffee and food. But I personally don't dine in often as it feels crowded even when there aren't too many people.

Never had any issues here, just a classic Costa. Wide range of drinks and not too expensive.

Meet my friend here every now and then . Staff always pleasant but as we sat at a table one of the Male staff came to take away our coffee cups and proceeded to spray and wipe the table before we had left which I felt was quite rude. Maybe someone should point out the tables get cleaned after customers have left- please. Or at least I thought that is what should happen

Touchwood Solihull Costa have Best staff ever! The girls I spoke with are friendly, welcoming and attentive they always appear to be genuinely happy which is lovely to be around. Ive always been welcomed and looked after by the Costa team here its definitely my favourite Costa hands down. It is nice when people make the extra effort to be kind to everyone and that has been my experience here. Also theres a great outside area to sit in and enjoy the sunshine. I must go back soon and get the other staff names as they were all amazing but last time I was served by Vicky who made the best hot chocolate ever!

Why do Costa still charge (extra) to eat-in, whereas other (McDonalds) food / drink outlets do not ?

My regular haunt for drive thru coffee. Staff always professional. Sometimes disappointed when they do not have items I like. Great collaboration with Marks & Spencer.

We went to Costa during the weekend and it was busy as it was Chinese New year but we still got served quickly and had a table in the Mall to sit at. The coffee was of a good standard and so was the cake that I had so all good there. Highly recommended

The tables was very messy not cleaned very well

Costa is our favourite coffee shop. I visit regularly throughout the month with my husband or on my own for coffee dates. We enjoy all the different hot drinks and cakes. Slowly working our way through the deserts! We enjoyed the lemon tart and almond slice this time.

This place never disappoints. You can get home coffee. You can get Starbucks coffee. But Costa Coffee, for me is the best. Not too bitter and not too weak. To go, or to stay in the coffee shop! I like to stay in shop, but have the coffee in a take away cup. - I know! Not good for the environment. But if it makes you feel better, what I do is: Keep the cup. Rinse it out. Put one kitchen towel inside (to help the cup dry, but keep its shape, with the lid on). Then when you need a hot drink from home, you can use the same said cup and then throw away. Just think - you've saved money on another cup of coffee AND you can then throw it away, knowing that you were kinder to the environment, than someone who only used the cup once!! ;-) 😂 Voila!!! 👏👏👏

This review relates to the Costa in Mel Square in Solihull. Went as a family of 4 adults last Sunday. It wasn’t overly busy, tables outside and inside available so not packed. The staff however were soooooooo slow. I waited 15 minutes, yes you read that right, 15 minutes in the queue. It was painful. There were three staff on who I think had agreed to see who could work the slowest. I was tempted to walk out but my son and gf had their their toasties ready in hand and wanted to stay. Once served the drinks and food were fine, usual Costa standard, but the staff need a severe talking to. If they don’t want to work in the hospitality sector then there are plenty that do.

Had a ham and cheese toastie, it was delicious, but the caramel latte I had wasn't so tasty, couldn't even taste the caramel and the latte was more hot milk than milky coffee.

I always visit costa Solihull weekly as I work within touchwood shopping centre but the experience I had today was truly shocking. The store manager (a young lady with dark hair) with terribly rude. I visit costa weekly and have never received such poor service from a member of staff especially the store manager I would never expect to be treated and spoken to the way I was. I came into the store and staff were speaking amongst themselves behind the till failing to recognise that there was a customer (myself) at the till. When I was being served I wasn't greeted with a smile nor a simple good afternoon (manners are free in this world and cost not a pound or penny). Baring in mind I come every week to costa as a regular and all staff apply touchwood discount to my order this manager failed to recognise that I worked within touchwood which was quite blatant however this is not the issue, the issue is the way the member of staff had dealt with the situation, she proceeded on to telling me that she could not see my uniform (which was quite unbelievable considering I had a t shirt displaying the logo for the company I work at) and that maybe if I "wasn't on the phone talking then I would be able to have asked properly" and that she is "the only store manager" I did tell her that I was not trying to be rude or argue but simply just displaying my concerns with the way she had spoken to myself she then didn't offer an apology or try to be nice but turned her back and continued speaking to her colleague who honestly looked quite as stunned as I was that the general manager had spoken to me the way she had . It is honestly appalling and seems as if staff need to be trained further on how to deliver good customer service to their fellow customers. I hope I never have to experience such rudeness from a staff member and that she manages to improve the way she speaks to people.

I used to enjoy a coffee here from time to time, now it’s gone down the pan. Unenthusiastic customer service, and rude and aggressive staff. I had walked in to join the que inside, and was man handled by some bint named 'Christina' - yes it’s time to name and shame. Grabbing me by the arm and marching me outside was not funny, and the people who witnessed this were appalled. Needless to say I told her that if she ever touched me again I would be filling a report for assault. In my opinion, staff should never put their hands on a customer, no matter what. Work it out Costa Coffee. If I came to your shop three times a week and spend £20 - you have lost £3,000 plus a year just from my business. Needless to say I will never be going back. The staff are always miserable – like they have lost the will to live Customer service and all round synopsis 0/10
