Staff doing their best 👍 But cleaning the outside tables and chairs needs to move up the priority list. Some real nasty table tops that blue roll is not going to fix. Buy them a steam cleaner and some cloths 🤗

Despite being busy, you remained calm, engaging & banterful, creating a lovely atmosphere throughout the store. It was evident that no request was too big when I saw you going out of your way to ensure other customers’ extra requests/issues were tended to with great care, whilst keeping business flowing. Your abilities to multitask so effectively were impressive, and I appreciate how you didn’t treat me any less due to using Nectar vouchers & not being traditional ‘cash paying’ customers — which unfortunately can and does happen. You also put my mind at ease when I wasn’t sure you’d prepared my drink as decaf — not just saying “yes, it is” but confirming my whole drink preferences to reassure me you knew exactly what you were preparing. This goes a long way, and I will absolutely be back. I’ll remember you both in my prayers & ask that Allah/God rewards you for your kindness & humbleness :)

Hadn't been here for a while, and the bunch of young guys serving were ace! Super friendly with amazing energy. Good for you lads, was really impressed 🙂

Had a really accommodating time at Nero a few days ago. Zeb was really quick and friendly. My friend was having a really bad day and she left cafe Nero with a massive smile. I don't tend to leave reviews but I even went back to ask zeb for his name so I could big him up on here. Give that man a raise :)

The place is very understaffed compared to the one in mell Square which has staff and is much better around in terms of management. The Stafford terrible here very rude I said I’m gonna sit down because I’ve got various issues with my legs so I can’t be standing too much and he was giving me a dirty look about it I normally the manager who is normally out and with their members of staff generally says that’s fine. We’ll bring it over for you. They were gossiping to each other about something. They’re not happy that I have to sit down and bring it over to me or something on those lines and that’s what you would normally expect in hospitality, and in most places as well normally they have cups/glasses so they’ll fill it with ice for you. I asked for it and they said we don’t do that. However I normally go to the other store and they’re always asking. Would you like a glass and would you like ice with that. Just really rude, ill mannered customer service very poor compared to the other store. the two guys that were working there today were rude and abrupt just threw the food down on the table. It looked like it was being attacked by the dog the way they served it

Great drinks friendly staff good facilities

Understaffed yet friendly but needs to step up in terms of cleanliness.

The pistachio iced latte (with a biscuit snack) were a delicious treat. Good atmosphere and plenty of space to relax and chat with friends.

1st of all I'm allergic to dogs 2nd of all how can a establishment like this allow dogs in there premises that aren't guard dogs and then let them jump on people a dog literally jumped on my leg and I'm allergic to dogs while I'm eating my food and in muslim this is very appalling and I'm taking this the professional way

Of all the coffee chains, I find Café Nero to be the most attractive. On this occasion in Solihull, the service was as ever efficient and friendly. I like the sensible cup sizes as well as the design of the cups. The loyalty scheme works very well. I find the coffee to be to my taste.The choice of cakes is more than acceptable, although I would like to see cinnamon buns introduced. The tables were in good order. Obviously, the staff members were ensuring that used crockery was removed quickly. I think that Cafe Nero offers reasonable value for money when compared with other venues

Very good service and great coffee selection. A nice laid back setting for meeting up with friends.

I asked for a slice of lemon meringue cheesecake as was recommended by a friend along with a mango fro yo with coconut milk to make it more tropical (I did forget to mention the 'tropical' bit though for the product name). The cheesecake was delicious although the slice for the price was fairly small (my friend told me they were on offer) and I'm almost certain they forgot to put the mango in the fro yo as I realized after drinking it. I didn't taste any mango at all and after looking at their website realized the mango can usually be seen but this was all just white like coconut milk, with the strawberry sugar pearls on the top of it. Other than that it was a good atmosphere and staff were friendly. I would also like to state at the till there was some confusion with what I was asking for so it might have genuinely been a mistake with the drink

Best coffee of all the coffee shops

Ordered on deliveroo 2 vegan croissants and plant milk lattes. They sent all butter croissants. Imagine if we weren't familiar with how the vegan croissants SHOULD look and smell, and ate the butter ones because we trusted a restaurant to send the correct food, or at least notify us if they didn't have it. Wasted money and narrowly avoided an allergic reaction. If you don't send the correct food how do I know you put the right milk in my coffee? Not impressed. I'll stick to Starbucks.

Clean and welcoming shop, tables clean, Staff friendly and attentive. Just bit of a wait in que. Plenty choice of food and pastries.

This has become a very regular visit for us. Their hot chocolate is very yummy. I love the special editions they do for Christmas and other festive periods. I do wish they do a more Apple/Cinnamon offering. Also, I would love to see Caffe Nero do a pumpkin spice drink.

Shuts at 16:00 which is a shame nice place to meet friends and have a catch up chat.

Fab place, great drinks, friendly staff

After waiting what seemed kuke a lifetime the cortado had too much milk and didn't taste of coffee and sausage roll was very small for the money and gave me indigestion later Couldn't get a seat as loads of people on laptops or phones or playing cards but nit drinking or eating just taking up space out of the cold Will give this a wide berth in future How will these chains ever survive in s recession?

It was Neros by the nat west Bank, service always good, coffee amazing.

The blonde female staff member was ver very rude. The whole place heard how she spoke to me. On every single table there was dirty used crockery. I had to clean my own table and she deliberately left wiping down my table till last. She should leave problems at home, not bring them to work. Very very rude person. Should not be working with the public

Forgot an order and slow service although not that busy

Staff are very friendly and I like the layout of the indoor seating area as there's plenty of room and it doesn't feel cramped at all. The lighting is also good and it's not dimly lit like in some shops. The sofas are very comfortable and the perfect place to spend a couple of hours reading or working on a laptop. Opening hours are different to on the door. They close at 6, not 6.30pm.

Comfy seating, friendly staff, good range of cakes, hot and cold drinks, can eat in or out, has toilet facilities and the prices are OK.

Nice and quiet place for a cup of coffee

I normally go to the Mell Square branch but as their machine was broken (23/03/22), I had to go to the High Street branch instead. The female member of staff in charge was obviously very stressed as she was training another female member of staff. She barked at me 'What do you want' while preparing another customer's drink. I gave my order but the trainee came off the till to start prepping my tea. The supervisor lost her cool with the trainee and rudely instructed her to stay on the till instead. The supervisor then started pouring the wrong milk into my tea which I pointed out. Without responding to me, she started another drink and just plonked it down on the counter without any acknowledgement to myself. I felt really sorry for the trainee to be working in those conditions. It's been a very long time since I've witnessed such rude behaviour/service and I won't be visiting that store again.

I visit Caffè Nero High Street regularly. The queues for service are extremely long - whatever time you visit. The tables are not cleared or cleaned. At lunchtime to have two members of staff on duty is not enough to keep pace with the customers. I would suggest management increase the staff numbers to ensure they can do their best. I note other on average a person spends 25 minutes here and that’s just queuing 🤦‍♀️

Nice Caffè Nero in the centre of Solihull - great to stop for a pitstop and a refresh. Nice loos, comfy chairs and good selection of nibbles and coffee. Service seems good, and fast - would recommend a visit :)

Very slow service and not very keen on staff putting their fingers inside cups when making drinks. One staff member wiped her nose on the back of her hand and then went to the oven to put food on a plate! During a 20 minute visit we did not see any tables being cleaned and sanitised. Have these people not heard of covid?

I went to this branch, with a workmate, and two people, I support as part of my job. I produced four stamp cards, and was then told by the barista, that was a lot of cards, I explained that I regularly go into another branch on my way into work. I was then told that it looked like all the cards had been stamped on the same day, I informed her it was over some time, when my workmate asked her, how that was, she then told us, she had worked for caffe nero, for several years. After we got our drinks, she then proceeded to talk to another customer rather rudely, I'll be using another branch in future

Would have given 0 * for this particular Caffé Nero. The staff that serverd me was one miserable person. It is first time I've used this particular branch. Generally most of the time at Caffé Nero at other branch it's always happy bunch of staff. Probably the last time at this particular branch. Suggest you go across the road to Starbucks

Had a quick catch-up with some friends and was really impressed by the friendly staff and great service. Drinks were delicious and the seating areas nice and comfortable, would definitely recommend to others.

Watch out for the app offers. They are quite good. The coffee flavour is nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking might be an issue if going in just for coffee. Would have loved a drive through.

This is the only coffee shop chain i know of that has no gluten free cakes...? Very disappointing for a large chain plus the toilets were grotty too.... Won't be visiting a Nero's again

Ordered 3 drinks and two hot meals. The drinks were came first so I took the drinks to our table. The staff then took the meals to our table saying ‘we don’t do table service next time’. Such rudeness, it’s offensive. Of course I know Nero don’t do table service, I lived here all my life. Is it because I’m Chinese she thinks I’ve never been to Nero before. I had to take the drinks to the table because after waiting a while the food was not ready. I was to go back after to collect the food. Such nerve, terrible customer relations.

Caffé Nero feels like an underdog for quality coffee. The seating inside is spacious and can fit many comfortably. The customer service is top-notch and always welcoming, these small things really add up to me visiting time and time again.
