My latte was watery and tasteless.

Great coffee. The service was also amazing. Love the tables outside on the little terrace.

Absolutely loved my hot chocolate here, it's up there with my favourite ones ever, very strong chocolate flavour to it, filled near the top and whipped cream with chocolate dusting, delightful. The staff were very friendly and efficient service.

Just bought a coffee & toastie. Girl serving had a face like thunder, was on her phone & was quite rude! Good ole British customer service again!!!

Costa in Thornbury. Cakes and pastries are always nice in Costa and I was pleased to see sugar free syrups for drinks. Staff are always pleasant and it had a c cosy atmosphere.

Purchased a good to go bag,What a huge disapointment,no variety,Whilst collecting staffstood behind counter,chatting on phones,please see picture for what we got for 1 bag....disgusting

Was one of the friendliest Costa coffee shops I've visited/delivered to. Problem is staff always changing. If you have a delivery or wish to drive there the High Street is now one way only! Due to covid and social distancing, at first, but the council wants to make it permanent; despite local residents and shop keepers protests! Dont blame them. But the complaints won't make any difference when the council can get millions in grants to do it?

I would not go back here again, tables uncleared and sticky, not even busy and staff just stood around doing nothing, also not even polite, no eye contact at all while speaking, and the worst was the toilets they were disgusting, dirty, no toilet paper,, it's a wonder they haven't had an inspection

Whilst here I observed a staff member leave and then return, with a 4 pack of Thatchers Gold. A short while later the same staff member proceeded to attempt to put up a hand sanitiser station, which he nearly dropped near a table of customers, he then spilt hand sanitiser all over the floor - which he did not wipe up, leaving a slip hazard for customers, right infront of the counter. He then passed the leaky sanitiser unit across the counter to another staff member - to put in the sink, shoddy.

Good service but cramped seating and everything over priced.

Good environment, good food and drink but a bit pricy. Usually not too long of a wait (less than 5 minutes for a coffee and cake) and they have a decent amount of foods and drink to offer.

The 2 lads serving were very friendly and very quick at making the drinks, we had the sofa by the window which made for a relaxing time ...

Poped in for my free vodaphone very reward hot chocolate. It was very nice

Staff were pleasant (I’m led to believe the lady on today isn’t normally here). Flatwhite was not textured or the usual costa standard. The store itself needs a refurb with the chairs being quite grubby. Well located in a beautiful little town centre with on street parking (time limited). The opening hours on the shop don’t match the Google maps (it said 7.30am on Google maps and 8am on the door).

Had a lovely coffee and teacake this morning at Costa Thornbury, very polite, friendly and helpful chap served us, we used some vouchers, it was a bonus. Efficient and quick too, really good and enjoyable experience. Thanks.

Great coffee in mugs the size of a soup bowl if you want it. Nice spacious cafe with comfy seating and a good selection of snacks and cakes too.

On the high Street. Store looking a bit tired and can be very cold during the winter months staff great.

Love the staff in Thornbury Costa, they get my drinks ready before I've ordered them! Would recommend for anyone to visit the store as the coffees are great and so is the food. The staff are always helpful and happy too.

Terrible 15 minute wait tables really dirty full of empty cups 2 young lads running around like headless chickens trying to do everything but the woman present who I saw see the state of the tables just went outside , the young lad inside trying to clear tables but got a que woman came back in looked at the tables and went in back .plus hardly anyone in que wearing a mask . won't be back

Great Coffee. Cafe well organised with Covid restrictions meeting government requirements. Shame, as with most Costa cafes, a large amount of customers ignore the Face covering rules.

Didn't used to think much of Costa especially following poor service in motorway services. However they seem to have a much greater range of products. I love their iced teas.

Costa is always my favourite to have a coffee and when visiting some friends in Thornbury we went for a coffee there. Service is great and attentive, server was very welcoming and our drinks were prompted made and delivered at our table. Very nice establishment, clean and well maintained.

Always get a great coffee here as staff are trained baristas not just coffee makers. Everything presented in a professional manner with knowledgable staff. Good meeting place in the high st.

You always have to clear the dirty plates off your table to get a seat, even when there's barely 10 customers in there.

Friendly staff and usually somewhere to sit. The experience is the same each time. Today staff were clearing the tables which has been a issue in the past. Hot drinks and nice and warm inside on a cold day.

I don’t normally review Coffee shops as we visit so many but just wanted to say that this Costa Coffee always has friendly, hard working staff who make our visits relaxing. I went by myself today and it was really busy and yet the staff were still friendly and treated each customer respectfully. It can’t be an easy job dealing with so many people all the time (and today the queues didn’t die down) so full credit to them for remaining professional whilst working under pressure. Always a nice visit and shame our local Costa isn’t like this!

Visited this Costa when we were in Thornbury. Very clean and tidy, staff very friendly and efficent.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a special deal of a lunch break consisting of toasted sandwich a packet of crisps and a drink for only £4.99 . I was served by a young man who was very helpful and polite. I highly recommend this place and intend to revisit.

I pop in here occasionally when working in Thornbury. It has always been clean and the staff are quick to serve. Particularly impressed with the staff member that remembered me from a visit many months back - so proved to me the staff try to build rapport with the customers, something rarely seen in modern society. The place is always spotless when I have visited too. Also to add: free Wi-Fi, which is easy to connect to - very useful for those with poor signal in Thornbury.

Coffee shop on Thornbury high street. On street parking on the high street & 3 carparks within reasonable walking distance. Large open bright coffee shop, clean and well maintained with a few seats outside. Professional friendly staff. The place has a homely feel. Recommended for drink and a cake

For me, this is the best coffee shop in Thornbury (and there are a few). I don't understand some of the slightly negative comments on here (the subdued signage is because it's a historical town; the prices are good value compared to others;......). The staff are consistently friendly (quite clearly, and particularly if you have experience of other outlets in Bristol). The store and toilets are always clean.

Standard Costa with usual selection of coffees cakes etc. Very comparable in prices with other chains on the high street. Fair amount of seating, this place was formerly a bank but you'd never think so. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I do like a toasted teacake and they always bring it out to the table rather than having to wait at the counter.

Decent standard of coffee but the staff are not always knowledgeable about types of coffee. I.e. they sometimes ask if you want milk with an Americano!

Always a joy to wander I and have something to drink. The staff are very friendly. I like being able to pick up a paper as well.
