this place is a joke they cant even serve tap water to people and the food is out of date

Good location and pleasant atmosphere and usually quick service. Popularity sometimes means tables not cleaned as swiftly but that has improved recently!

Smells bad, frappe excellent. Expensive. Took a long time to make.

The staff is very friendly and even when it's busy they are quick and nice. Generally a good place to hang out except if you plan on using the toilet which is an absolute disaster, 3 stars just bc of that.

I couldn’t find my keys in time to get to the door but luckily the driver left this on the doorstep.

Absolutely brilliant drinks came piping hot everything well and driver was lovely and had alerted me when was a few mins away

Not satisfied with the chai latte. The take away cups are bigger and better than the dine in glass cups with no cinnamon inside. For eat in they put chai latte inside glass cup I feel the quantity is less just because lots of bubbles over it and it get cold so quickly. I finish my cup of tea in 1 mint. The berry croissant was delicious no doubt.

Not really wheelchair accessible. It's so packed that they could really do with moving to a larger location at this point.

Service, drinks, and food okay, however the state of the toilet was very poor. Of the two customer toilets one was unavailable and signed as "Out of Use"; and the other, dirty with an obvious blocked waste pipe judging by the level of water in the bowl. It was obvious the toilets were not cleaned as regularly as they should have been.

Staying in Oxford and love Costa coffee so discovered this place for my morning brew. Staff were friendly but took forever to make a dry cappuccino. Within moments all the foam had collapsed despite the efforts of both girls to get it right! Trying to find somewhere to sit was the worst part. First table was chaos as 2 kids just kept running round and round me, screaming for all they were worth, while their mums did nothing. So moved to a vacated table with armchairs. The arms were simply filthy (and I'm not that fussy!) but I didnt really want to touch them! And there was a slight smell of vomit lurking about. Not great! Decided to yry cafe Nero ax the st next time.

Denied me using my voucher for a treat at this place by one of the staff, i did explain but she still refused it. Then also served me a drink without the coffee in there probably thought I wouldn't notice.

Was open conveniently 8am on a Sunday morning

All the lights flicker it drives me insane can’t have my coffee in peace because all the lights around me can’t figure out wether they want to be on or off. Otherwise a very regular Costa.

I ordered a Terry chocolate orange hot chocolate only to get a normal one with Terry orange chocolate bar wasn't happy 1 bit as didnt taste nice at all

Grubby ,opening hours changing all the time &staff not bothered.

Very rude staff. The store was closed at unexpected time (3pm at working day) but my online collect order has gone through. I arrived the store, saw it was closed and I just wanted to ask the staff cancel my order. But staff were pretending not seeing me for more than 10 mins! When one staff finally came to talk to me she was super rude said they are closed and they can't do anything and I can't claim my order back!

if I could give this place minus 5 starts I would. I was told to collect a too good to go back between 16:00 and 16:45 to only be greeted by the the rudest woman ever. I politely knocked on the door and tried to show the reasoning for me being there. They decided to close early and not go to published times on the website. I am a student and this was meant to last me a long time. I am very disappointed and will not be returning.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. On Monday 21st at 4:30 we arrived to pick up a to good to go bag between 4:00 and 4:45, which was what we were told. Online it says Costa is open till 7:00. We arrive to see a printed sheet of paper eating they are closed. We then showed we had something to collect and she was very rude. They decided to close early and did not act professionally at all. Would not go here again.

Consistent, easy stop for coffee - Americano with our M&S sandwiches. No problem from the cafe, strong internet!

Worm In My Bakewell Tart So I ordered a Bakewell Tart and I found a worm. Very unhygienic. It will be a while before I come here again. I've been vegetarian all my life and I almost ate it. Sickening how Costa could do this to me and more importantly to the poor worm in my Bakewell tart.

Enjoyed a range of toasties and sandwiches with my family. The only thing I would suggest to Costa Summertown is that they should stock children's sandwiches as I had to buy my 3 year old an adult size sandwich.

El local ha cambiado su localización, ahora se encuentra en la acera de enfrente. Siempre que vengo de visita a Oxford elijo este lugar. Personal amable, buenos dulces y sandwiches o bocadillos buenos y calentados al momento. Incluso llegamos a pedir mac&cheese para comer. Buenísimos.

Typical Costa Coffee with average coffee ☕ Actually they offer milk 🍶with some drops of coffee. It is a spacious place though, with a wide selections of snacks🍮, juices🥤 , toasts🥪, so convenient to have kids and keep them busy. Almost always very busy therefore tidyness and cleaning of tables is often an issue.

Fortunately, business hours have changed longer recently. I love this store that they have full of spring sunshine through the big window during the day time. The staffs are busy, but they work really hard and are kind. Thank you always.

Always a lovely place to sit and have a coffee, it’s a shame the opening hours have been reduced. Friendly staff, well made drinks, and clean tables, but a little busy, particularly in the afternoons. However the baristas are generally pretty fast so even in a relatively large queue you won’t be kept waiting long.

Went to Costa and waited in queue for several minutes stood directly in front of person serving and was totally ignored. The person directly behind me gave up and left. I waited three of four more minutes and was still totally ignored so I decided Costa didn’t deserve my business and I too departed I will not go back .

Nitwit staff should turn the radio down: far too loud and obtrusive. I listened to other customers and it drove them out of the shop.

It is a good place for drinking in (especially on cold autumn day, during COVID!) as is quite spacious. Only 4 stars as the toilets are always very messy.

The quality of coffee brewing and the service should be improved. I ordered a cup of cappuccino but the staff didn't serve it with a plate, which made it difficult to walk around to look for a place. However, the place is spacious enough to find a table or a seat to enjoy your coffee.

He estado en esta cafetería varias veces durante las últimas semanas y he disfrutado cada visita. El café es consistentemente bueno, la tienda está limpia, bien iluminada y acogedora. En el transcurso de dos meses de visitas casi diarias, todo el personal (Nasser, PK, Kyla, Carlos y los demás) ha sido infaliblemente agradable, profesional y eficiente. Como normalmente me siento un rato y leo mientras tomo un sorbo de café, he observado que el personal saluda a sus clientes habituales por su nombre, conocen sus pedidos habituales y parecen estar en buenos términos con todos. Llego temprano cuando el negocio va lento y veo cómo la tripulación acelera a medida que los estudiantes, trabajadores de oficina y trabajadores de la construcción entran en oleadas. Son tan educados con los equipos de construcción como lo son con los dones de Oxford y aprecio mucho la igualdad de su enfoque con su clientela. Recomiendo esta Costa como un buen lugar para comenzar el día con un café y una cara amigable.

I think the staff are not trained enough to serve proper coffee. They were nice and helpful tho. I'm just not satisfied by how my order was served.

Staff were not friendly and not very attentive. When I arrived one of the staff members was looking at her phone and when I asked for my order she wasn't very nice and giving attitude. All the empty tables were dirty and wasn't very busy. Not very good experience

Era una mañana tranquila en la cafetería y por eso decidimos ir con mis dos hijos pequeños, todo salió bien hasta que tuvimos que ordenar con uno de los empleados cuyo nombre creo que era Tamira, como escuché (lo siento si mal escrito) que fue increíblemente grosero conmigo y mis hijos. entendí mal mi pedido por completo y me dio todos los artículos equivocados, lo cual es un gran problema porque mi hija menor tiene una alergia a las nueces muy fuerte, noté un acento portugués, así que decidí hablarle portugués ya que mi esposo es portugués y pensé que tal vez ella estaba luchando un poco, pero parecía enojarse mucho al hacerlo, así que solicité un reembolso debido a que ella dio el pedido equivocado dos veces y dijo que no sabía cómo hacerlo en la caja registradora. No sé si tal vez ella no recibió la capacitación suficiente, lo cual sería culpa de la gerencia, pero su actitud fue extremadamente grosera e incorrecta, ¡tuve que abandonar el lugar con mis dos hijos hambrientos para ir a otro lugar en un día muy caluroso! Horrible mañana!

The new staff doesn't have any idea on how to make a latte... I can do this at home easily... when I asked them if this is a proper latte they just add some extra milk...

Was not the best coffee I have had, they could do with some basic training. It tasted like the coffee beans had been used multiple times and not swapped out (it's like water with a weak coffee taste)

Visited last Sunday for coffee with a friend . Normal kind of Costa offering standard Costa fayre . Nothing special to report though .

I was waiting for a friend, so popped in to Costa. It was clean and the coffee was OK. Not the best coffee I've ever had, but it was OK.

Nice people, prompt service and the coffee is good, warm and reasonably priced. Edibles are high in sugar and fat, and salt in the case of salty caramel. Good access to WiFi, great location in Summertown.

I like Costa as a chain but this example has awful service, I've been here three times now and two of those times my order was completely forgotten so I was left standing waiting for ages before prompting the staff, I was offered dazed looks and no apologies. There are a couple of boutique coffee places nearby with better service so I will stick to them now.

Staff are often slow and a few drinks behind those who are taking the orders. Coffees are always hot and filled to the top!

Pricey coffee but tables are sticky and you have to clear up the last persons cups & plates.

Really fast service plus small queues

Great spacious place to enjoy a Chai Tea with a friend on a Saturday afternoon even if this tea is very sweet. The free Wifi can be temperamental but one can still work happily on a laptop for 1h or 90mns. Finding a free parking space nearby is more challenging and can be a battle in fact particularly in Summertown so best to allow extra time for the parking matter.
