Costa Coffee in Tewkesbury

Very disappointed, walked into the counter. I asked for a sausage bap. Was sent back to find it in the fridge. Staff didn't help just served the people that had later arrived. Putting me at the back of the queue.. RUDE.

Just popped in for a quiet lunchtime coffee with a couple of friends. All very nice and relaxing.

Wanted to sit in my usual seat but got told it was closed for cleaning. Huge queue out the door and people not being able to sit but continued to keep two tables ‘Closed’. Staff were rude and disrespectful. Half of the menu wasn’t in stock!! No kit kat drink for my grandson. Awful place so not reccomend!!

Nice place to relax either before or after the shopping, the staff are both friendly and efficient the food is really good so is the coffee.

Just witnessed the manager speak to a member of staff like she was a piece of sh**. Literally calling her stupid in front of everyone, reducing her to tears. I'm appalled.

I've had good and bad experiences. The last one put me off. The tray I got was soaking wet and had some brown goo on it which I only saw after I'd sat down. The glass they gave me for my tea was dirty, when I asked for another one it was also dirty, 3rd one was fine. It's a shame because Costa is usually a great brand but this specific branch has issues.

I stop off for a coffee on the way into work some mornings and this is the place to go.

Recently refurbished. Nice place but could do with a lot more power sockets. Seating can be limited when it's busy.

If staff spent less time chatting and getting on with serving customers the queue will go down a lot quicker

Mixed feelings about this Costa. It's not very big and during busy times the queue can be long and good seating can be limited. Staff are great and friendly. Coffee is always good. Would benefit from always having 3 staff on duty.

Attractive building and efficient and friendly staff. They worked through a long queue very quickly. Still the best offer high street chains for coffee flavour.

Friendly staff, fast service, but the whole premises is so outdated and dirty. All the other Costa stores in Gloucester have been refurbished. This one seems to have been forgotten.

We went to Costa in Brockworth this afternoon at 4.50pm with my elderly mother in a wheelchair. I sent my husband to see what time they closed, it clearly stated 7pm on the door. I managed to get Mother out of the car and into her wheelchair. We went into the establishment and waited several minutes at the counter. In the end we were approached by a member of staff who said they were about to close and we could have a 'take out'. I referred to the sign on the door saying they closed at 7pm and was told that it was wrong and that they closed at 5pm, also that I should have checked on the website! We left.

The place is busy and in my opinion, short staffed. Tables need clearing.more often and they're filthy underneath and the legs too. Chairs need cleaning too. This is very important because we've all become so aware if how bacteria and viruses spread! Please CLEAN UP. And another thing....listen up properly to what is being ordered. I ordered a Chai latte with coconut milk but hot a coconut latte!!!! Ggrrrr

Visited with a friend at 9am in the morning, tables were dirty and the chairs had food on them! At that time in the morning you wouldn’t have expected to have to clean up first! Covid hasn’t gone away, better hygiene please!

Needs to learn what extra hot means. I dislike spending £3.50 on a luke warm latte. I mean I can literally gargle the drink. Just not good enough. Will Not be revisiting the Brockworth Costa again unfortunately

Very busy but quick service with only 3 members of staff. Staff member did pull their mask down to talk to us making our drink which wasn't best idea.

The issue that I have experienced was: I have ordered a flat white with coconut milk takeaway for the price of £3.35 all good, however when I asked the staff (a young girl with a can't be bothered attitude) why she charged me 30 pence extra she told me that they have 2 options for the flat white £2.60 and £2.90 plus 45 pence for the coconut milk, when I told her why she didn't asked me what size do I want then the supervisor interfered, I asked him if the flat white was one size and he confirmed its one size however they have a regular and a mini ???? how is that one size? It was only 30 pence but I should have the option to chose after all its my money, the staff shouldn't chose for me to pay for the more expensive one, while I was explaining all this the young barista asked me to leave because I was being rude, since when its rude to challenge costa staff regarding the price of the product Costa is selling? I asked to give me the choice to chose my coffee size and I asked for a mini flat white and I was not that surprised when I was told they don't have a lid for that size (take away coffee with no lid) So instead admitting their mistake , (30 pence loss for costa) they had to throw away a perfectly good coffee that cost £3.35, this is how the supervisor "resolve" the issue, as for the young barista to ask a customer to leave because she was challenged about the price is beyond my understanding, she shouldn't work at front of house until she has proper training. I work at Gloucester business park and many of my colleagues had similar issues with the staff at this location, they really need extensive training

Busy coffee shop, staff were polite nothing more but guess that's because they were busy. Tables needed to be cleared / cleaned but found somewhere to sit. Thank you

Like the coffee, don't like the tax dodging

This has to be one of the busiest Costa Coffees I've ever seen outside of London. A constant stream of customers queuing but always quickly served. The staff were always smiling and always pleasant despite how busy they were.

Quite crowded but drinks are good and hot with friendly staff.

Our drinks were great, we had smoothy type drinks, just not sure about having them in the regular coffee cups with the straw pushed through the drinking hole, made it nigh impossible to slurp our drinks through and ended up removing the lid and straw.

Pretty standard Costa but some outdoor table space if the weather is good. Not exactly a scenic spot but ok if you are shopping in the area.

On a hot day in Gloucester, I went inside this Costa. I could not fault the excellent customer service, 2 lovely ladies behind the counter working really hard in this heat. They gave 2 awesome iced drinks . Lovely drinks, with wonderful service. Thank you.

Went with my friend on a rainy day after COVID restrictions have been lifted and we could be allowed to stay inside however we have been treated very badly by the staff… Firstly, when we were in the queue to order (even if there was another person in front of us) the barista was shouting at us asking what is our order, I wanted to get closer as I couldn’t hear what she was saying and then she started to yell “no no stay there, no need to come here” and another staff member got involved shouting”she just needs your order”! I need to mention that because they were so loud everybody in the coffee shop turned their heads to see what is happening, like we were doing some sort of scene The whole thing made us feel so uncomfortable because we were trying to see if any tables were available at the time so we can sit at one but then a third member of the staff got involved to say abruptly, very irritated “you don’t have where to sit!” Me and my friend we were speechless, like we didn’t even get the chance to talk as all staff members were basically unpleasant and rude, keep telling us “you can take it to go ONLY” and seemed like they didn’t want us to stay there! Very disappointing experience! Honestly I would recommend the staff members to have a refresher Customer Service Training as they forgot how to treat and speak nicely with their clientele!!! Update: I have been once again disappointed by the staff at Costa, Brockworth! Why do they have to treat you in such a rush! Not even listening what you are saying- I have asked for a slice of BOSH Chocolate cake and I got a rocky road brownie! The impression they give is that they’re trying to get your money and then get rid of you as quickly as possible!!!

Don't listen to you when you order and make their own assumptions about what your order is. Order an oat milk mocha and they always make an oat milk latte and when i correct them they make a normal milk mocha. My gf is lactose intolerant but can deal with the little amount of dairy in the chocolate powder, and I really dislike the taste of milk so get oat milk instead. Definitely don't recommend

Me and my friend visited after restrictions lifted I was totally disgusted by the attitude of the staff I really think they have forgotten how to speak to customers. really made me and my friend uncomfortable in front of everyone It was like they didn’t want us to sit in . We never even had time to speak to each other to work out if we wanted to stay wait for a table the staff were shouting there are no seats it’s taken away etc . All staff were implying we get out , I was so embarrassed all because there were no seats we didn’t even have the chance to discuss our options with my friend we were made to feel like we weren’t wanted. I will never go there again.

First time back at Costa in over a year. Fabulous experience- good clean shop that is Covid compliant and well set out for ease of access. Lots of outside seating. The staff were really friendly and pleased to serve me. I would highly recommend this branch of Costa. Many thanks

Hi I got a latte with caramel in my latte coffee did not like it ?

Popped in to grab a Costa for the family when a rude woman came through the exit rather than the entry. The young barista politely asked her to use the other door in which the troll ignored and stumbled across the chairs to get to the other side. Another customer challenged the troll but the troll was rude back and was adamant to stay. The troll was extremely rude to the other customer with name calling but I could see the embarrassment when the troll made an order and only ordered for her mum ( who used the correct entry) and didn’t order anything for herself. The young barista treated the troll with top customer service but didn’t receive an apology. Well done for your patience but I really wished you refused to serve her, you really don’t need this type of customers abusing staff and other customers.

Ordered via the app, items that were unavailable were blocked off the app which was fine. But turn up and 3/4 of our order wasn't available and had to reorder.

We went into this Costa to order two takeaway coffee's. It wasn't very busy at all, 3 of us in the queue, there were three members of staff; the batista, a young girl clearing tables and a lady serving. The moment we came into the store we received bad customer service we were stood waiting for our order to be taken for a long time with no recognition from any staff members, then when we did have our order taken by Cath (this was on her name tag I believe) she was so so rude saying 'what drinks do you want' no 'please' 'thank you' or 'hello' absolutely disgusting! Once we'd ordered and were waiting for the drinks to be made Cath was once again rude. A lady wanted to walk past us and before we even had a chance to move out the way for her Cath shouted across the cafe 'move over out the way' again no please or thank you and her tone was disgusting. I understand social distancing is in place and we happily oblige to all measures, however we were stood on the sticker on the floor where it tells you to wait for your drinks and as I said we saw the lady coming but hardly had a moment to think before Cath was shouting across the cafe. I also noticed Cath being rude to other customers, a young lad and workman also in the queue and it was a shame as the batista and the girl clearing tables seemed fine, although quiet, and perhaps intimidated by Cath, if that's how Cath treats the customers I'd hate to see how she talks to her colleagues! Cath is certainly not in the correct role for her we will not be visiting this Costa again.

MY partner and myself went here last Thursday afternoon to meet up with a couple of friends and had a great time. I was halfway through my coffee and had to take my partner to the disabled toilet and when we got back from the toilet my coffee was gone. I explained to a member of staff that we had not left the Caffè and she gave me another cup of coffee for free. The staff were very nice and very helpful and kind. We would very much recommend this place.

Just been for a walk with a friend and picked up a lovely coffee from Costa in Brockworth. So pleased they still open for takeaway and there are plenty of benches outside so you can be social but sensible.

We met at Costa Coffee near the Gloucester Business park. It is warm and spacious where a uninterrupted meeting can be held. Personally it's the excellent coffee being the draw card.

On the whole it is a very nice outlet to visit but they need to update their sofa as it is very lived in. The toilets could do with an overall too.

I came into costa on the 24th of January 2020, haven’t been in for a couple of months, normally the staff are so friendly, but today I was greeted by a girl who I had never seen working there before, she was ridiculously rude. Didn’t say please or thank you, pretty much through my change at me and kept giving me really dirty looks, I ordered a toasty and a drink and when the toasty was done she slammed it down in front of me (even people in the queue waiting were shocked) when I first ordered she asked me if I would like to takeaway or eat in and I said eat in, but she put everything in takeaway things, so when I asked her if I could have my toasty on a plate she very bluntly said ‘no’. Then I asked her if she could come and clean the table I wanted to sit at and she also said no very bluntly! I then ordered another drink once I finished my first one and she didn’t hear what I said, so she said ‘what’ instead of ‘pardon’ BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I used to love coming here, having a lovely chat with the people that work there and relaxing! But never again will I be coming here. Horrible service, and absolutely shocking. She should not work face to face with public if that’s how she treats people. Absolutely no need for it.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy. The tables and chairs are a bit tight as is the access by the till and waiting area so in my opinion not suitable to visit / stay for wheelchair users but there is a drive through. Bathroom was clean and well kept. Importantly the Coffee was as to be expected for a chain and differed in no way to any other Costa.

I love Brockworth Costa, the staff and service is always excellent. Carli and Jan have become great friends over the years.

Well done to Tiffany at Costa Brockworth, it's good to know old fashioned customer service and general kindess isn't dead. I was broken down in my car with only 2% battery left and I phoned Costa and spoke to Tifany to enquire if they had USB sockets. Tifany advised they had traditional sockets but offered that if I walked down she would lend me her charger. A life saving gesture for a cold wet and humiliated driver with a flat battery after leaving ones lights on. A shame that my own company who shall remain nameless couldn't offer the same kindness when I had walked back to the office from my car for help!!!! (Exludes my team mates who were great) Tifany your help was much appreciated and I hope your employer credits you whereas as mine is lacking. Much appreciated once again a warm and restored grateful customer. PS. Carrot cake was great too!

It's a Costa, so normal choice of things to eat and drink. The staff here today are lovely. Prompt service and a friendly chat. Very nice indeed.

Service always seems slow with lots of staff members but the wait here always seems long and everytime I've got to be served they are always out of any seasonal drinks or sometimes cups. There always seems to be an issue not sure if its the times I visit but that shouldn't make a difference. Staff are friendly and are doing best they can but have been to busy city centre stores that are much quicker
