Costa Coffee in Bexley

my tea leaked, leaving me with half a cup and all items in the bag were wet

Usually I enjoy visiting this costa. Today however I decided to take a nice morning stroll.it turns out this stroll was terrible and wasteful as I was excited for my caramels frappe WITH coffee and without cream,however I ended up with a caramel frappe WITHOUT coffee. I looked past this and continued my way home I arrive home and sat in my bed peacefully and was excited to enjoy my croissant UNTILL I took the first nibble and discovered it was stale. STALE. I am so disgusted and mad. I gave it the benefit of doubt UNTILL I took my second bite and again it was stale. I sadly chewed my bite then unfortunately I choked on it and had to spit it back into the bag with the rest of the croissant.

Have a voucher though the Costa app for £2 off food, when scanned the £2 came off the price, however was told that the franchise owner does not accept the use of this particular voucher. But the till system took the voucher amount off the price. I was purchasing a large coffee with the food item still spending just under £8. I decided to leave without purchasing anything. Won't be returning, I go into this Costa nearly everyday spending around £6-£10. You have lost a customer now, for £2.

I haven't been to this Costa coffee before. It was grubby and dingy,the tables and chairs and the small sofa were dirty and old. There was only one young lad serving who did well. The tea was only just warm too. Needs a good refurb.

Really disappointed today, coffees awful and I order regularly from this costa! Even went to the shop and was told “well they’re just gonna taste the same”. Poor customer service and even worse coffee! No refund given considering I spent £20 and the coffees were un-drinkable!

Wrong order sent. Driver kindly went back to sort it for us.

Wrong location I went to Blackfen which was very good

Both customer toilets were blocked so we had to leave to find another loo for the children use.

Once again the wrong drinks sent! Ordered decaf latte with brown sugars. Was sent non decaf cappuccino and no sugar! Seriously will have to try Bexleyheath instead.

No sugar, AGAIN! Pastry was dry and stale.

Food and drink is nice but they consistently forget items if you order from Deliveroo or other delivery couriers. I've ordered from them multiple times and they miss out at least one item every time.

No sugar and coffee not decaf making it completely undrinkable. A total waste of money.

They really need to stop putting chocolate on top on cups going out for delivery. By the time they’re delivered it’s just a sticky mess on the lid. It’s a nice idea in the store but not when it travels.

Ordered a coffee and toastie after my night shift, coffee turned up, toastie didnt. The fella delivering it never said anything when he dropped the bag to me, I called the cafe and they said they had run out, this is fine but a phone call to let me know or offer alternatives would have been professional, no customer service.

Always very busy and bustling with yummy mummy’s. They have a great selection of drinks and seating indoor and outdoors which is great. I tend to get a takeaway coffee and have always found the staff very friendly the service quick. Keep up the good work !

Missing items that we got a refund for but then had to go without. We should have the option of another delivery without charge as now we have drinks but not the food we required.

Terrible service not much choice of food & could not understand the new assistant who should have been properly trained before being expected to serve customers in such a busy shop you need to sort your staff out

They don’t read the customers comments. Wanted one shot of coffee they gave two. No caramel in the latte. Two muffins missing. Is it really that hard to get the order right?

Did not supply all items ordered. Tried to call them but phone just ringing. Had to go to just eat for refund.

Bacon had a lot of fat and the hot chocolate was very watery. Could hardly taste the chocolate. I also requested a sprinkle of chocolate, but this was missing.

The delivery time meant the food was of awful quality by the time it got here. It’s not the restaurants fault, definitely the driver.

The delivery guy left the drinks outside and didn't ring the bell. By the time we found them they were cold. Please ring the bell when you deliver!!!!!

Can’t complain. Try to use local and independent places where possible but the ease and consistency of costa makes it hard sometimes unfortunately! Not the best coffees around but you know what you’re getting. Staff are also always friendly

Visited here during the ‘eat out to help out’ scheme as I was waiting for my car to be serviced. Ordered an Americano with milk and it was only £1.30! What a bargain! The person that served me was friendly and I sat on a comfy sofa to enjoy my coffee. It looks small from the outside but is actually quite large when you are inside. I live locally to here but this was my first visit and I would definitely return!

The shop needs more staff to process take away and shop orders.

Nice shop, friendly-ish staff but awful coffee. Im a true fan of Costa but the coffee from here tastes nothing like you get from any other Costa as its more bitter which is strange

Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced. No understanding or sympathy from the employees. I simply wanted to use their bathroom and they refused to allow me to use it unless I purchased something. I understand if that’s the store policy but the pure rudeness I was addressed with was unacceptable. Won’t be coming here for anything and certainly will be telling people to stay away.

Staff so rude . Coffee bad . They not do the cake properly. How you eat the ham and cheese croissant and the cheese inside like still in freezer.

Ordered Belgium chocolate tasted of powder as if it wasn’t mixed properly. Asked if I could swap the drink. Was told they don’t do that and I chose the drink so it’s my fault. Extremely rude assistant manager or manager can’t remember. Managed to get my money back. Any where else would of apologised, offer to replace the drink or change it. Instead just got a lot of attitude. It was not busy and they certainly weren’t rushed off their feet. Will not visit this store again. Disgusting customer service.

I visit many Costa Coffees throughout the week they are preferred coffee house. The one at Blackfen is the friendliest and one of the cleanest. The staff are brilliant and should be congratulated.

Asked for a Medium Skinny Latte in a takeaway cup, watched staff use full fat milk and pour into a glass, said that was wrong but virtually called a liar for complaining. Then heard sniggering has I had to content myself with incompetent service. Steer well clear of this Costa, as despite several staff doing their best to ignore customers, they get your order wrong regularly......Costa directors should be resolute in ensuring better quality staff let alone working practices

Sorry I love Costa but this one is something else.

The staff was friendly,fast and it was so yummy to drink, they made the drink perfect with the right amount of coffee,ice,milk and sauce.Out if all the costa's I have been to the Blackfen road is my favorite place to get a frappuccino now also the cafe has been done up and it looks really nice in there and warm as a person who suffers from the cold it is perfect for me on cold days but I would love more places to be warmer.

An ideal detour off the A2 on the way down to the South Coast from London

Can get busy at times. Staff are fairly kind about last minute orders before closing which is lovely.

Lovely little coffee shop to stop by in. Cosy seating area with plenty of seats, staff are pleasant and overall nice place to take a break to eat/drink.

Coffee was ok but can only pay using cash, been like this for a while now & when I mentioned it I just had a note held in front of me saying "Cash Only".

Nice to have a local Costa. It seems a bit dark in here. The service was pleasant, if not a bit slow but it did not matter on this occasion. It is quite a relaxing Costa to visit so pleasant [place to go on your own and read without much disturbance, depending on the customers there

Just came into your costas for two plain croissants, there are honsetly the stalest and hardest croissants ive ever had, would of gone back to complain but had to get to work, £2.50 down the drain. Been to loads of costas and its been fine but wont come back here :-(

Being a big fan of coffee I visit nearly every coffee shop in the area. This is by far my favourite. It is the most friendly and cleanest Costa around. It is bigger than it appears from the front. Very relaxing with the most friendly and knowledgeable staff. Well done Blackfen.
