Such a fabulous lunch yesterday, despite the being under pressure , the front of house team were amazing . the food was cooked fresh and tasted amazing. Will definitely be back again soon

Coffee mill is and will most definitely remain my go-to in Bexley. The service is always amazing and the staff are so so welcoming. I always book a table for when my family and friends are visiting from out of town and they are always super impressed by the quality of food, whether it’s a English Breakfast or a Chicken Wrap (which is a personal favourite). 10/10 service, especially Fats.(so welcoming & friendly) 10/10 food and will no doubt be back in there one day next week! X

I am a regular visitor to coffee mill and I am usually happy with the service I receive. However, Fatma has not been there on my last few visits and another Indian waitress has served me. It is safe to say she has never got my order correct, whether it is a drink or a meal. I have sent food back on more than 1 occasion because of this and I feel it is becoming more of a nuisance to eat here than a pleasure. If Fatma was there every time I ate here then I would not be writing this review or be taking my business elsewhere. I am sorry coffee mill but selected members of your staff are letting your establishment down.

I was asked to move to another table from the one I chose near the window, “because it’s just you”, and “there is a booking”, although there were other empty tables of the same size with no one arriving just yet. The phrasing sounded rude but I thought maybe it was just because of the waitress’s accent, so I moved to another table respectfully. No one showed up in the next hour until I left, the table was empty with me sitting somewhere else. The waitress said her name was Aisha. I hope this review will help other visitors to be treated with more respect and consideration.

Such a shame that it takes so long to get served and eat in this cafe. Cannot come again and should have learned from last time. It’s a cafe but takes 20 mins to get a drink and over an hour wait for a fry up. The response here is repeated many times below on other customer reviews. I agree the food is good, but you can’t guarantee you can fit going into this cafe in a lunch break and you’d need more than an hour on your car in the car park. That’s a shame and I would suggest getting a sous chef / waiter who can help with both food and serving if you can.

worst beans on toast I have ever tasted. One and a bit slices of dry sourdough and a a small bowl of beans that had been in the fridge to long at a price of £7.35.

I went here with my friend for brunch . The coffee was very nice. Its a nice clean environment, nicely presented. The food we had was quite nice though my friends paiched eggs were cold. However we found the staff unfriendly and felt rushed to give our order before we had time to look at the menu. Tried to make friendly chat saying the coffee was nice and no response which made us feel uncomfortable......we didn't feel we could say the eggs were cold ...... Did not feel we could relax...felt they wanted us to eat and go ..I don't think I would return .

From the moment you're step in, you're greeted with the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee (any coffee I could say) just wonderful dining experience & would also like to say with each bite, it's evident that the chef (CIM) pours his heart and soul into every dish, creating flavors that linger long after the meal is over Your shop is actually the perfect blend of exceptional food and charming ambiance Would recommend to go & visit there shop Good work 👍

Visited here today with my partner and 2 small children. Just wanted drinks (milkshakes and coffees) was given a table and then when we only ordered drinks we were told if other customers come in who want food we would have to move. My partner pointed out that there were no other tables left to move to and we were basically told we would need to leave. Then when she saw our faces we were told “oh it’s fine you can stay” but she walked off and threw our menus down in a very bad manner. Safe to say we left: would never go back and if I could give a lower score for service I would.

Recommended by local hotel as a good place for breakfast brunch, & it was. The first impression is that this eaterie is your standard cafe in that there seemingly hasn't been a lot of investment in the decor, fixtures & fittings to make it 'look' more high end. The food, however, was excellent. All dietary requirements & preferences catered for, & just really nicely cooked. Staff were really welcoming & friendly, & there was a steady stream of customers, some of whom are obviously regulars. Highly recommended.

Used to go in Hamers unfortunately it closed down. One waitress is very nice. Moved to different table then others allowed to sit there. Table cleared almost before we stood up. Food is ok but not very inviting.

Absolutely loved the food at Coffee Mill. The menu is very rich as there’s so many choices to choose from. The staff are warm and friendly. The coffee was a delight too. I will definitely be back!

The BEST burger i have ever had. Truly a must try they also make the best latte in the village. Ive tried everywhere else and its no competition.

The food was fantastic the service lovely. We were so surprisingly impressed. 5 star quality 5 star presentation.

I came here by recommendation and was so disappointed. We waited almost 45 mins for our breakfast as they were tending to all the takeaway orders that had just walked in which didn't seem fair, the food arrived and it was stone cold. Never had eggs so cold before but we were starving already so decided just to eat it and leave. Its a shame because the flavours of the sausage were nice and reviews are good but unfortunately everything on our plates was really cold like it had been sat out on the side whilst the other orders were being done. I doubt I would return because of this.

Sunday morning breakfast turned up at 10.40am, sat next to 3 people sharing loud videos which were obviously disturbing to us and other customers. Watched 6 deliveroo and ubereats drivers served before we were.... Therefore had to wait 50 mins for our breakfast....coffee had been drunk 35 mins earlier so nothing to wash down and no offers of replenishing our beverages. Note to the owners concentrate on your sit in clientele rather than your delivery orders....people will not return if they witness the obvious disparity.

My mum has raved about this place since it was opened. After a year I had to try randomly. And I have to say it is the best, proper italian coffee I have had in kent. End of. Amazing little coffee shop for people who really know there coffee. Alot of love goes into there coffee's. The ladies are amazing who run it 👊

The food was of high quality and the customer service was first-class. Friends ordered the falafel which was presented well while I ordered a salad. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I booked this cafe as I wanted a nice relaxing meal with friends luckily we were 10min early as after our meal which I can't fault the food was lovely, I asked for another drink and cakes but the lady looked horrified and said the next booking was there and we to move to another table where I have no idea. There were other tables that had been there a lot longer that 40mins so to be honest we felt very unwelcome,

We went to the Coffee Mill this morning for Sunday breakfast. I booked a table an hour beforehand just in case it was full. It wasn't when we arrived but it soon filled up while we were there. We were both very pleased with our food, my husband in particular who adored his Mediterranean breakfast. I had an English one and was very happy too. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere lovely. The prices are reasonable and fair. We also ordered to takeout a salt beef panini and a halloumi ciabatta for our teenage sons who were still in bed at the hotel - they really enjoyed them. We highly recommend this place! We'll definitely be back next time we return to Bexley to visit family. Thanks for a great start to the day 😊

Food always good and I love the coffee.

We come from Gravesend to go to this cafe, I tried their kofte wrap today and it was the best wrap I have tried, fresh and very tasty, the homemade chilli sauce is a must as well. Staff always friendly. Definitely 10/10.

Nice cafe but unfortunately they do not add hash brown and black pudding to the breakfast.

So so so good from the food to the service. Good value for money as well and an excellent run family restaurant.

We tried this completely on spec and it proved a good choice for our lunch. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we did not feel rushed even though it was at the peak of lunchtime servicee. The food was straightforward but good.

Customer service was outrageous, we asked for a larger table on arrival as I’m a larger muscular guy we were told one thing by one waitress which was that once customers had left we could have their table for 4, then another waitress changed to us having to share tables for 2 small people, All the waitress’s kept on saying was how the bigger tables were reserved . We had been present for 20 mins approx and no other customers had come in. Another 2 customers who had just arrived were placed on a table of 4 but ironically this was the table that was promised for us. They overheard our issue and offered to swap tables with us, However the manager came and made a big fuss insisting we were mistreating their customers Acting as if we were not customers ourself. Now personally I feel really degraded as me and my partner are of ethnic descent and everyone else present was Caucasian so how we can be treated different based on me asking for a bigger table as a result of my side is disgusting and outrageous.

Went to Coffee Mill today with my daughter for lunch and wanted to say what a great lunch it was. We did not have to wait long before a friendly waitress appeared to take our order from a large choice of menu. My daughter and I left feeling stuffed and are looking forward to our next visit. What a gem of a place you are!

I visit here every Thursday morning with my toddler. We both love it here! I’ve tried a few different things on the menu, all yummy, but my toddler won’t have anything but the delicious chocolate cake! Coffee is lovely too. Staff are so welcoming and helpful. Currently, favourite cafe. Well done, and keep up the good work!

Lovely relaxed little cafe with very friendly staff. I had a tasty Menemen to eat, which was light but very flavoursome. A hot cup of tea for me and a cappuccino for my lady warmed us both up a treat on a freezing day. Will go back next time I'm in the area.

Today was my first time at coffee mill cafe and I absolutely enjoyed my experience, the staff were friendly and welcoming , I will definitely come back and I will definitely recommend it to anyone. 😊👌👌

Went there on Saturday for brunch. Were seated at the only free table which was next to the door. We were given a menu and that was our lot. Never saw a member of staff after that despite looking in their direction several times. The final straw came when a couple of tables were filled after us who obviously knew the staff. Guess what, served straightaway. We left saying that we didn't want to wait until they have served their mates before serving us. Bizarrely (and I think this sums them up) they seemed genuinely astonished that we were unhappy. Moral of the story - if they are busy, and you don't know the owners, give it a miss. We went into the pub straight opposite - absolutely spot on and I wish we'd done it in the first place.

Wanted to find somewhere local to have a coffee/brunch with friends but I have a baby of 15 months so places are limited (baby friendly menu, seating, general vibe etc.). We came across the coffee mill and decided to go there and I am so glad we did! Covid rules applied all staff were wearing masks and there was hand sanitizer available for you to use, tables were spaced out nicely and there was seat separators for the little booths. Staff were wiping down tables and chairs after customers had left. Despite this the atmosphere was lovely with other parents, couples and families enjoying their breakfast. We ordered coffee and a ciabatta (came with a little side salad which I got a picture!) which was absolutely delicious! The menu for children/babies is so good with so many healthy options makes a difference from chicken nuggets and chips! The baby fruit salad I ordered was huge (with really fresh decent fruit not boring apple - it had banana, strawberries, blueberries etc) and the babychinno (hot full fat frothy milk) was in a little cup and saucer and perfect for small children. Staff were so friendly and accommodating and always asking if you wanted anything else whilst chatting to the children. I would 100% recommend the coffee mill and think I’ll be making it a monthly treat and taking more friends! Not enough coffee places like this!

I have visited this place many times for a couple of years and always found it the good & service excellent..... unfortunately today was not one of those days. It wasn’t very busy and we sat down & our order was taken. The coffee came quickly but I thought they’d gone to Valencia for the fresh orange juice!! When the order came it was all wrong. Only one muffin & no egg in sandwich. It wasn’t a difficult order ... the waitress just didn’t listen properly! Now it’s easy to do another muffin but not easy to fry an egg & split it between 2 halves of sandwich! Therefore it looked awful & very messy. The young lady apologised but there was no apology from the waitress who took the original order. When we came to pay she was happy to take the money and even then no mention of an apology! To make it worse I think the boss & son we’re sitting right behind & said morning!!! Sadly probably won’t return which is a shame but they’re probably not bothered!!

Quick visit for a Bacon Buttie and breakfast tea. Lucky to a get a table at 10.45 on a Saturday morning and assume it is always busy like this? Really enjoyed my visit. And my meal!

My mother and I had a late breakfast here on a Friday morning before a wedding dress fitting. The staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly. They have a variety of non-dairy milk options, not just soy. I had smashed avocado on toasted sourdough with on-the-vine cherry tomatoes and baked beans. It was absolutely delicious, and we'll definitely be popping in again when we're back to collect my dress.

Lovely moden cafe coffee bar, always good if they do chai tea. Great choice of breakfast and lunch on the menu.

I have visited several times. I was a little disturbed this time. Some of the staff were taking a break and as per norm for young folk sat on their mobiles. One took a serviette and blew his nose. They all then went back to the serving counter. Not one washed their hands before restarting their work!!!! Oops not sure I can go back there again! Can you please send privately not publish

Hygiene 5. Very popular so if more than 2/3 people book a table. Good food at a reasonable price. Opens for breakfast. If I’m Bexley Village I would recommend it. I only gave 4 stars as it is small

Bexley Village has lots of places to eat or get a coffee. This is one of the newest and I think one of the best for lunch, or breakfast or even just a coffee. Compared to some places in the village it has the advantage of long opening hours 8am-5pm
