Just a small Costa cafe. coffee is decent and drinks also. did not try any snacks there to say about them

Dirty tables and food on the floor. The latte was supposed to have two shots in it but was weak and lacking flavour. Certainly won't be visiting Costa again.

Got to Costa at 7:15am and it was not open, even though it says it opens at 7am.

Lillie was absolutely amazing, I was cautious about having a hot chocolate as I am a coeliac. Lillie was incredible, when asking if the hot chocolate was suitable so reassuring and without me having to ask used a fresh cloth, washed her hands, used a new packet and a clean spoon. I’ve never felt so understood and safe so thank you so much Lillie!

Freindly branch, not that large though so can get busy.

Costa margate, what a lovely inviting store, I was served by a young lady called Sophie. Not sure if she was the manager or she had been working there a while, but she was very confident. Quite possibly the best flat white I’ve ever had from a costa. Will definitely be returning soon.

Such as nice location! Friendly atmosphere, tasty food and coffee 🤤 you can have a short break with your friends, you can also have a seat and enjoy your meal . There is a toilet inside as well. You can find there a lot of delicious food , pastries, cakes ! You can order take away or eat in . Highly recommended ✅ thank you 🍀

I never like to give bad reviews, but this place is shocking. It’s filthy, dirty and looks like it’s in real need of a shake up. All of the tables were dirty, the floors were covered in spilt food and drink, and the ceiling was covered in cobwebs. I was very disappointed with my drink - I was actually very ill after drinking it! I believe they may have either given me oat milk (unprompted, and I would never drink it as I’m celiac!) or the milk was off! Very unsettling either way - also, my drink didn’t taste that great anyway. I won’t fault the staff or baristas for their customer service, as they were really friendly and nice. I don’t want to point the finger of blame at anyone, but something does need to be done about this place :(

Not only did a medium hot chocolate (priced £3.75) cost us as additional £1 for 3 pathetic marshmallows and tasteless cream which couldn’t settle on the drink and it’s all stuck to the lip of the take away cup, but it also tastes very bland and not as all worth the almost £5 for it. What a waste of a good morning.

I pop with my family for cup of coffee we want to seat inside, it was 5 o’clock - Costa close at 6 , we didn’t been asked if we want take away , when I told barista we want to seat in she said that we can drink inside but she did in take away paper cups , unbelievable- clearly I want to drink nice cup of coffee in glass mug no take away paper cup and clearly I wasn’t happy but she didn’t give me a choice- looks like staff don’t want to have much job after close. Not recommend!

Popped in on Sunday 12th November (Remembrance day) and at 11am not one member of staff recognised the 2 minutes silence and more disgusting was that not one customer respected the 2 minutes either. Bromsgrove is a town that always honours those that lost there lives so we could live the freedom that we do. The lack of respect is awful. Unlike Coffee 2 which is 2 doors down theyve always acknowledge the 2 minutes silence. That's the last time I'll use Costa Coffee Bromsgrove. USE COFFEE 2 FOLKS , MUCH BETTER FOOD AND DRINK AND EXCELLENT STAFF.

I tried the new take away frap from Bromsgrove Costa, very disappointed it hadn't been blended long enough so had lumps of ice in it, which made it hard to drink plus they were out of stock of the toppings that go on the cream, plus the cream looked like it had curdled overall not nice, and certainly not worth £4.30 . Bring back the toffee popcorn frap that was lovely.

I stopped by this morning to grab a quick coffee on the way to work. Lovely barista who served me was obviously quite heavily pregnant seemed too be working alone and very busy. I do not know what sort of management would allow this but its a disgrace. Hats off to the barista, shame on the store.

I’ve been a great fan of Costa for several years. However, over the last 12 months I’ve been increasing disappointed with the service and quality. It’s not just this shop I’ve experienced the same issues any other places. It’s the basics which makes it even more annoying. Issues could be corrected with staff training and employing people who actually want to be there. My experience is a real mixed bag in Bromsgrove. Pot luck as some are great and some are not.

The staff are the worst, they treat it as their personal club and get annoyed when they have to do their job, i do hope the head office will do a surprise vist on this team, myself and my family will anywhere else but here.

Was given half a cup of chocolate, the rest was foam, went outside to sit on the paved high street, and was sitting in what was almost a landfill site, rubbish all around the chairs and tables, which no one had bothered to clean up. The rest of the street was relatively clean - they could have made an effort for their customers sake.

Went into Costa Bromsgrove this morning approximately 10 am. Asked for breakfast roll & latte offer being shown on light up board in window to be told they don't participate. I said it shouldn't be advertised then. The manager on duty was quite rude & didn't seem to care. I won't be coming to Costa coffee any more. I'd just been for hospital appointment & this didn't help.

Dirty table, staff busy throwing milk over each other and couldn’t be bothered to stir in syrup when asked by another colleague if it had been done. Yes customers see and hear everything.

Normal costa shop; sells overpriced cakes and hot drinks.

By far the best coffee shop in Bromsgrove. The staff are always friendly and efficient. The shop is clean and the food and drinks are expertly prepared. It can get busy on a Saturday lunch time, making it hard to find a seat but at other times you can sit for hours with a good book and just relax. Costa brands themselves as the nation's favourite coffee shop and I can't argue with that, I've never been in a bad one. Yes they are the same all over, but it's the consistency and quality that appeals to me.

Like all Costa coffee shops it's comfortable, air conditioned, and reliably on the more expensive side,... But that being said, unless you go to Mcdonalds for a cheap coffee, that is standard stuff in coffee shops,.. and everything is expensive nowadays anyway, so... What are you going to do? Very good service and good food

First visit to a Costa in some time, hard working young girl serving customers, preparing food and drinks by herself. We waited about 10 mins to be served 3rd in a queue as she appeared to be lone working. The assistant was doing her best, once she taken our order, having been in the cafe for approx. 15 minutes a second colleague appeared but only to clear tables. Food and coffee was usual standard but well done to young staff member who was holding down the fort.

Had a lovely hot chocolate and a free cake for my birthday.

A warm and cosy place to visit and stay to drink your beverage.

Not the best experience. Got the orders wrong and had a long wait. And the coffee wasn't great. But on the other hand the staff where very busy and very friendly and helpful

Horrible customer service, took ages to get my drink and felt uncomfortable. Wanted to stay with my daughter but the place looked horrid, along with the toilets filled with rubbish. Don’t recommend this place.

All fine nothing to get over excited about but you know what you are getting.

A pleasant half hour with a friend lounging in a comfy seat with a drink. Coffee is a quality blend, well prepared and quickly by a Barista. Seats are very comfy, a good place to spend a little relaxation.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this Costa :) friendly staff and a good cup of coffee. Very generous sizing. Ordered a medium and it was laaarge which obviously is a good thing as I know now to go with small next time. Got there around 8:30 on a Tuesday, not a long wait and got my coffee. The place was relatively empty as everyone was coming in for the coffee on the go. Clean toilets and plenty of seating. Went past again around 10am and it was looking much busier, but still had plenty of seating available.

Two of us visited Costa this merry morn for a coffee and bottle of water outside on the table. Service was polite, fast and efficient, drinks were of good quality, prices at the higher end of the scale, but acceptable.

Not enough staff. Food good drinks good. BUT HAVE NO WORKING TOILET FOR 3 WEEKS. Have contacted Costas, but couldn't be bothered to reply. All we want is a working toilet, can't use this place any more because of this.

It said online it will be open till 1830 but closed at 1700

Excellent takeaway service and we were able to sit outside under a cover to enjoy our coffee it kept us dry during a sharp shower.

I wouldn't normally write a negative review but I feel this should be addressed.yesterday whilst in the que at bromsgrove Costa a young lady came in and very politely asked if she could possibly feed her baby who was obviously crying for afeed ( the seating was blocked off and no-one was in there ) I totally understand that it is very difficult times and policies are in place and you have the right to say no however the way she was spoken to was disgusting. First the young girl said (in the toilets ) when the lady asked to sit at the back in the seating area the girl was very abrupt and rude. There was absolutely no need for this and the staff should be made aware how upsetting this would be for a young mom . When leaving the shop the gentleman in front of me said that's the last time I use this shop so I'm not the only one.

Absolutely appalled at the lack of empathy shown at Costa Coffee in Bromsgrove today. I went into the coffee shop at around 12.30pm today with my 5 week old son who was screaming and asked a staff member if there was any way I could sit down to feed the baby. The member of staff I spoke with was incredibly rude and suggested the only place I could feed the baby would be in the toilet, as the seating area was closed. I accept we are in a pandemic and Costa Coffee have put this in place to protect the public, however given that the seating area (which is setup with chairs and tables) was empty, I think Costa Coffee could have been more empathetic towards my situation. The young girl behind the counter was stuck up and rude to say the least. Instead, I sat outside on a bench outside to feed my son. I will not be returning to Costa, given how bad the customer service is. I can accept a company policy being in place, but I don't think there was any need for the rudeness.

Morning drink stop with my friend. Service was fast,and extremely polite,and extremely fast and efficient. Drinks were well made and tasty,hygiene was good,both from the servery.and the tables inside.

Shopping in a fairly busy Margate near Christmas,and the call of coffee and cake was too much,so we fell into our usual coffee stop. A nice Cortado Coffee,tea with milk,and for my wife a tasty chocolate Xmas log cake. A comfy armchair in the window,watching the world go by for 15 minutes,we will be back.

The coffee is nice, the special menu drinks can provide a nice variety, but the attitudes of some staff needs tuning, it wasn't very busy when we visited yet tables were dirty and the queue was halfway to the door, 1 server was buzzing about trying to do everything while a rather sullen looking girl was wiping trays.... How does she still have a job? Each time I visit and she's behind the counter she's miserable, doing as little work as possible, when asked about lactofree milk she doesn't check, just says no, when asked for a cloth or something so we could clean the table she gave us 3 napkins. She's not the only one. I only use this Costa if I need to, Kawa is far far better

Dirty and unfriendly. A morning coffee shouldn't leave you depressed - but this Costa certainly did. With staff who clearly didn't want to be there - and how can a place be dirty at 7.30 in the morning? This dark and dingy coffee place really needs attention from the management/owners.

Surly staff, no cups or plates, filthy floor, unwashed table (and a request for a wet cloth was ignored so we had to make do with tissues to clean it). Husband went to the loo and advised everyone else to steer well clear of it as it was more than disgusting. When he reported its state to the staff, they hardly even looked up they were so uninterested. The food, served encased in cardboard as the dishwasher was broken, was more or less thrown down on the table - and was mostly inedible. The only good thing we can say of this dump is that it is conveniently located - what an opportunity missed to have a flourishing business.

Not been to Bromsgrove shop before so as in the town popped in. Coffee great as usual but needed to use the loo. I have chronic OA and use the accessible toilets as the loos are generally higher and have a rail to assist getting down and up. Well that was out of order (tap not working) I looked for the other toilets, saw a door to outside and another door with no signage on. The door was ajar about 3 inches so pushed it, discovered then a small child ( about 3yrs old) sat on the loo! No parent with him and door open to anyone! I went back to my table, finished coffee and went, found a toilet elsewhere.

Smells of sour milk. Service was . O.k.

The best of course the semi final I have been on my way home from the eat a lot more to be fair I can't see the semi detached to rent a room with a bit the dust settles in your house on in your address book unsubscribe the semi final version as good as the same tbf you y you have any other person use it was totes I am nearly all day long hunt down the semi auto wraps and was playingon the same tbf the same gays and postcode for your address and was wondering.

Its a Costa. Seating can be a bit cramped but staff are really helpful amd the brand is consistent.

New decor coffee great as always though the coffee beans on the wall do look like sirloin steaks

We were on a coach tour and on the itinerary was a stop in Margate, never been before the was in March, pre season! Had only an hour, so went for a coffee, never again to this Costa, save your money. Staff not interested, table was sticky, the place was unkempt. Coffee was just warm

The ordres for coffee and cakes were quickly produced and it was nice to sit quietly and enjoy the food and drink.

The staff always remember my order, they are all very friendly, the venue is clean and tidy and looks great after the referb...only one point of inprovement would be if they could somehow get some more outdoor seating in the middle of the high street...

I am a fan of Costa Coffee, it's my favourite coffee shop. They make great lunch deals there and they make the best toasties there. Usually when I visit there I go for a cappuccino for a drink, a ham & bacon toasties and a millionaire shortbread. Some times I have a skinny latte for a change. The coffee they make are the best, and I really like the toasties they make. They are to die for. And the millionaire shortbread are the best. If you are looking for really good place to have lunch or brunch I recommend going to Costa Coffee if you like a good cup of java! (That was a reference for a program to create websites)

Tragedy !! I was several times and every time there was something wrong it's cold coffee instead of coffee in a cup because I wanted to drink in the middle, I got it to go unpleasant service next my comment was deleted !!!

Good drinks and quick service but generally I think that the staff could be a bit more helpful as they seemed a bit bored almost but overall the food is nice and so are the drinks.

Popped in here for a coffee- planned to go to the loo first, but was told that I had to buy something before they would give me the code to the door- “company policy” apparently. Really?! Opted to go elsewhere. Why put up with that kind of reception when there are many other coffee shops to choose from. Poor show Costa!

Went in with a voucher I got for Christmas. The coffee was lovely but I don’t think I go without a voucher as I feel it’s a bit expensive

Always find this Costa the best around these parts, coffee tastes nicer than the one in Longbridge, perhaps because it seems cleaner ?? Or perhaps staff are friendly, or perhaps it's just the way they make it, I dunno, but a nice joint anyhow!

Good coffee as always and quick service but could do with some staff motivation or managerial motivation /direction. As when we walked in every empty table had dirty trays and cups on and were not wiped even when they got round to clearing. They weren't particularly busy and there was no queue. Disappointing, as it always used to be clean when I was a regular a couple of years ago.

Only gave 1 star because I had to, coffee was dreadful tasted like it had been stewed for hours, staff were nice and helpful

Miserable incompetent staff made this visit feel wrong by Costa standards. Lattes barely warm. Apart from that all good clean enough and spacious to be fair I should say maybe just caught them at a bad time but I won’t return.
