Costa Coffee in Broadland

Not the best outlet in Chelmsford the best one is westway. Maldon high street is also very good but very disappointed Costas don’t offer any gluten free products as my wife can’t eat and as to watch me eating

Really disappointed after being ignored and queuing for 5 minutes I then had to say I was waiting only wanted a coffee the store was dirty and rubbish all over the floor as there were 5 members of staff a quick run around the floor with broom that was left on the cafe floor wouldn’t hurt

Great store. Friendly, polite team. Great coffee, my flat white always perfect. Very clean store. Great place.

Just visited this costa and can’t believe how dirty it is. Furniture disgusting with stains, crumbs and food over them. Staff looked like they were making coffees from dirty re-used cups. Really grim for a chain of this size.

This has to be the dirtiest Costa I have visited; the outside seating area is rundown and in need of cleaning. The inside is filthy, food crumbs all over the floor, tables and chairs. The toilet is disgusting too! I walked in, took one look at the dirty place and walked out!

Long queue slow service In fact very slow hence long queue. Seats outside poor condition and slow to clear tables. Two staff serving taking an age over everything and overcharged me till I pointed out their mistake which they looked at me as if I had it wrong...but no they had it wrong. Used to be good there but gone down hill. Better off going across to McDonalds quicker service and coffee improved.

Riverside Costa Chelmsford Quite simply the worst Costa I've ever visited. Girl on the till walked off waited 21 minutes for a coffee with no queue, everyone else had walked off! No surprise there. Get your act together Costa

I visited Dunelm Chelmsford with my daughter and decided to stay for lunch We both had a toasted sandwich, a packet of crisps and a drink. The sandwich came with a salad and the service was quick and efficient. The environment was clean and light. £6 each

This is a busy Costa Coffee offering the usual fayre that you woul expect. The floors and tables need a little more attention and could do with a clean but that is nothing unusal in these cafes.

Visited on Saturday for a coffee and slice of cake. It being Costa delivered what you would expect. Good coffee and slice of cake which was a good size and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly.

As usual the coffees were excellent and the staff were very attentive. Did not have to reiterate my order. A great day.

Lovely staff here, very chatty and know their stuff about the bev . Do like my coffee so feel I may be biast , however it’s a brilliant location , quick at making drinks , plenty of seating , just a nice place to go ! Also encourage you to use your points card here so you can spend points and not actually spend money, haven’t been to many other costas which push this .

This Costa has certainly had a facelift since the new manager has taken over. This place actually looks clean and tidy for a change. The seating has been rearranged for the better. There is no longer boxes and paper at the counter where you pay. If you go in early evening the cake display is no longer empty and piles of cakes are are not sitting on the counter open to the elements. This Costa is in a good position and should be one of the best Costas in the area. Well done to he new manager.

We needed a break whilst shopping at the Riverside Centre. There are several options answer we chose Costa.I'm a Costa regular but this was my first time here. Seating is available inside and out. Being a hot and sunny day we were lucky to find a free table outside.The standard of service and quality of the merchandise was as good as I have come to expect from Costa. However...The toilets are unisex and the one I visited was a disgrace. I don't know when it had last been cleaned but I doubt it had been in the last few hours. Sadly the toilet seat wasn't secure. As for the rest I'll let the photograph speak for me.My score reflects my disgust. OK, the customers are to blame, but Costa should have a procedure in place for ensuring facilties such this are regularly serviced.

Popped into the coffee shop Saturday evening as my niece, who is diabetic, was taken poorly outside, I asked for a muffin (as I knew she needed carbs urgently), when I went to pay the amazing staff there refused payment and wished her well.Amazing customer experience..and I wasn't even a customer..!!!!..Well done and many thanks to them, they deserve a reward..

We went as a family to the cinema, but my youngest was maybe a little too young to sit through the entire film, so we left and went for a wander around the shops instead. After completing our mini tour of Riverside, we headed back to the Odeon and waited with a latté, ginger biscuit each and a fruit shoot. This little Costa, has highchairs, was clean and the staff were polite, with the service quick too. My latté was nice and frothy, with a good taste of the coffee beneath the froth. Tables were clean and also being cleaned as other patrons left, so hygiene here is clearly important.

This is actually a regular haunt of mine with at least one visit a week to meet a friend for a couple of cups of coffee while we set the world to rights. There are other places so why do we keep going back. It is purely for those friendly faces that greet us every time.

During a shopping trip we decided to stop for a cuppa. We found Costa to be clean and tidy. Toasted teacake and Victoria Sponge Cake were lovely. Coffee as always good and Mint Tea lovely. Staff polite.

Hace unas semanas mi esposa y yo visitamos esta casa Costa Coffee, siempre pensé que era un lugar para sentarse fuera sólo como entrada, nos enteramos, es compartida por una tienda de teléfonos móviles. El interior es acogedor y cálido.

Detenido en aquí después de un partido para obtener una bebida y algo de comer. El café es hasta el nivel habitual de la costa y el chocolate brownie era realmente muy bueno. Este no es el lugar más grande y debido a su ubicación sin duda llenaba los días de partido en casa. Parece ser razonablemente limpio y ordenado. Cómo se tarifa aquí cuando el Starbucks abre en el otro lado de la orilla del río complejo permanecerá para ser visto.

Pasamos cada almuerzo de trabajo en la costa. Las bebidas siempre se cómo me gustan, personal encantador y un ambiente agradable (de lo contrario generalmente no he vuelto todos los días! )

i really love Costa coffee houses, but this one i think is my favourite in Norwich. there are always so many seats to choose from, the staff are really friendly, and even when i was the first customer on a sunday morning they could not have been friendlier. the place is always very clean, the loos are spotless, and the food and coffee are of course great.

The place by riverside has a wide variety of coffee selections and their takeaway is actually amazing. I highly recommend the red onion toastie. Plus the staff is so nice!

Vinimos aquí para desayunar hace un par de semanas, tuve una taza de café con leche, y precioso un gachas y mi marido tenía un capuchino y un croissant, y también descubrimos que nos podíamos sentar y relajarse con la prensa.

Buen servicio. Comida llegó bastante rápido y era fresco. Las bebidas eran preciosas. No había demasiada gente. Tostadoras estaban perfectamente hechas.

Después de nuestra estancia de fin de semana en Norwich decidimos tomar un té, café y aperitivos, antes de salir para casa.

Los habituales de alta nivel que uno espera de Costa - buen servicio, bebidas y comida de alta calidad, todo servido en un ambiente limpio y ordenado.

Good hot chocolate but when one of the staff started to hoover there was a smell of sick filling the room. Which put me off my nice hot chocolate.

Came here to meet a friend for a catch up. We were lucky it's the festive period and the Christmas drinks are available because they are delicious! I had the black Forrest hot chocolate with soya milk which was heaven in a cup, the taste was brilliant and was presented well too. We both also had a toasted sandwich and a bag of crisps. Service was efficient and friendly. My only complaint would be the food is a little pricey. The drinks, especially the 'fancy' Christmas ones are well worth the money but the food is a little overpriced. I had a drink, sandwich and crisps and it came to nearly £9, for that I would expect and want a little more. If you take away the drink you do get the cutest Christmas cups design at the moment, guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

Good coffee as usual nice and hot for a change! small venue for such a busy shopping centre but kept very clean and helpful staff.

Always a pleasure to sit and enjoy a drink and cake at Costa. Consistent quality and comfy seating all go toward a relaxing time out of my busy day.

Food always high quality and delicious, coffee fabulous as always. People may complain about the price but you get exactly what you pay for. Never dissapointed

I went to the Drive Thru at Broadland Business Park with the children. My daughter left her brace (plate) wrapped in a tissue and forgot it when we left. Whilst driving home she realised and I had to go back to see if it was still there. They had cleared our table and went to see the staff who were brilliant. They went to the bins and retrieved it and even cleaned it for my daughter! I did offer to go through the bins myself but the staff just did it. You can't ask for more than that for service!!

Great drinks, amazingly yummy but expensive food too.Would love it even better if it was cheaper, but i love it all the same. Take away or eat in, the prices are basically the same.If you need a refreshment, the creamy coolers are the ones!

Really lovely little place to stop for a quick coffee and cake. Would also be good place for a catch up with friends. Would recommend

As a Costa faithful I have to say I was disgusted with my visit to Costa in the Intu shopping centre.After standing in a lengthy queue while the manager sat at a table doing paperwork during lunchtime trade, I was met with indifference when I asked for my iced drink to be double blended....not a big request I thought?No serviettes available and the toilets were disgusting absolutely filthy and no hand soap available......I wonder where the team members wash their hands???Not what I expect from a costa.

The coffee can never be faulted but at busy times such as Norwich City FC home matches the queue for coffee can be irritating.

Its costa coffee - its the same as every other costa coffee!! Same coffee, same décor, same cakes. Either you like costa or you don't.

Really helpful and friendly staff, good selection of drinks and snacks. Just refitted and looks great, nice and clean, a real credit to the guys and girls that work there. If you like your drinks extra hot just ask they are happy to oblige.

I think Costa coffee is absolutely the best. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but this coffee is not bitter, and I love it! I wish they had one in the U.S. close to where I live.

I'm very much a regular at costa, it's great for a coffee and GF bake well pick me up in the morning. This costa in particular is particularly good. I've never had bad service from this one, and although busy there is usually a few chairs available as I believe most customers take away. On this visit I would like to note that although there were others in front of me my drink was served promptly (although behind those in front) and to a high and hot standard.The location is what I'd call an "edge of town retail park" and it does share a unit, but this in no way affects negatively on the place.

I've visited this Costa many times but this is my first trip since the recent renovations. The decor and counter are much improved. Good service and great coffee as always. There's a wonderful selection of cakes and snacks on offer, far greater than most other coffee chains.

You can always rely on Costa to have a good coffee, great choice. However I would avoid the Choc and orange window cake as it is awful. Staff work quickly to keep up with busy times. Costa is looking a bit tatty and could do with a revamp

Costa used to be such a sophisticated coffee shop to go to, but riverside has just turned into a hang out for the unemployed and mothers groups. Every time I go there I have to push past a million buggies. I have nothing against people with children but they just seem to be very inconsiderate in such a small space. It's not the biggest of coffee shops and its always freezing the prices keep going up and up and now it's over a tenner for a coffee and cake for 2. Last week I had a hot choc and it was stone cold. Lets hope things pick up for costa.

This a place for drop outs and those who have nothing better to do. The coffee s neither hot or pleasant and the atmosphere is not to our liking

Good location for a "pop in and run" coffee .. Wifi access and tables outside help to give you abit of downtime .. Well done team the shop is clean and tidy and you are served quickly and politely :-) xx

Great place for coffee and cake at the time of gossip with a friend. Great coffee, attentive service. I would definitely recommend.
