Two staff working. The young man was pleasant, friendly and helpful. His female colleague was just plain rude verging on obnoxious ....... how do people get a customer facing job with such an attitude.

service is literally so bad i asked for a chocolate fudge brownie frappe and she was like um what.. and glared at me like just give me my drink so I had to order something else. don't recommend I don't know who this girl thinks she is but she isn't allat. also messy floors and tables.

The table next to us has a pet carrier on the table and staff have said absolutely nothing. Disgusting. Especially considering several tables seem to be wiped with the same cloth.

Very busy but there are plenty of seats and tables with views of the planes taking off. Service was good and the drinks and food was like any other Costas. I would recommend here for a drink and food before flying.

Pedimos 3 naranjas frescas para mis hijos y yo; los niños eran una delicia que les gustaría flapjack, pastel, etc. (las mujeres) (Hayley) tenía peldaño mi pedido y tenía su mano esperando dinero... Ni siquiera me había puesto mi pedido ya a lo que queríamos y ella se destacó con un auténtico disgusto en su rostro como desperdiciar su tiempo. El aeropuerto era muy tranquilo y no los clientes servicio esperándote. En el camino absolutamente indignado estaba servido y el personal debe ser entrenado en habilidades de servicio al cliente!!!!

A standard Costa with standard Costa fayre....with standard high prices! The staff were friendly enough, the food OK, the table clean but it's just so expensive for what you get. Also, don't expect to sit a large family together here.

Tuve la mala suerte de pasar media hora en esta rama del salón de salida de Costa Coffee. El lugar estaba totalmente asquerosa. Era relativamente concurrido, así que 3 de nosotros decir en una mesa y me quitaban de varias copas sucias, etc. Como había una larga cola para café, esperé por el hasta atraer la atención de los camareros que quería un paño para limpiar la mesa. Dicho "disculpe', ' ¿qué? !' él resumió en mí. Pedí la tela y me dijeron que habría alguien más para hacerlo. Esperamos 30 minutos y nadie vino. Yo mismo me paño con algún gel a mano que tuve en mi bolso La planta estaba cubierta de patatas fritas y migas, otras mesas apiladas con vajilla sucia.I disfrutar de un café Costa pero el servicio aquí es horrible, el personal desagradable y poco servicial - pueden haber sido ocupados, pero eso es lo que estamos pagado.Horrible horrible música Branch! No vayas!!

I think the people who have written good reviews about this dump of a cafe must work there. This place is disgusting. Filthy floors and tables. Overpriced coffee and food. Oh and rude staff. When we asked for a cloth to wipe the table before we put anything on it the manager snapped "what?" and then said someone would be over.........we're still waiting. What an embarrassment.

This is the second time I have had coffee and a pain au raisin at this outlet. On both occasions the pain was stale. That is some achievement at 9 am on two separate days 6 months apart . Avoid like the plague. Coffee is alright though!

I've held off reviewing this outlet as each time I've used it I say to myself - never again. This time i mean it.Firstly, the lack of competition is the only thing allows the mediocre service and offerings to survive. Anywhere else and this would have closed down a while ago - or pulled its socks up significantly.Lets start with the offerings - standard for the outlet, over hyped coffee, expensive, high in saturates sandwiches and toasted products with a few token wilted salads, then the pricey cake range and giant jammie dodgers.If this is your preferred choice - then this place will exceed expectations.Then the (dis) service. The staff are rude, inefficient and have got not service skills whatsoever - they really think they are doing you a favour by being there. No pleasantries whatsoever.The cafe area is filthy. Tables remain dirty for long periods of time.Not only will I not be using this outlet again - I'm giving Costa a miss generally as enough is enough. I'm going to use independent outlets from now on.

Waiting for my daughter's flight to depart we went in for coffee. There was an empty wrapper left on counter, the trays were sticky and unwiped and the bin and floor were disgusting in the drink prep area. Nice coffee though!

Southampton airport is a small airport with limited facilities. There is one bar/restaurant and Costa - its a large Costa with the full range of food. I visited on a Saturday morning around 8am and it was busy, the queue stretched all the way round the corner of the building. Really this is just down to disorganisation - there are 5 staff on but most were just wandering back and forth with clean cups and putting away cutlery. They had selected the trainee to run the till so she needed to keep disturbing others when she got confused. The person doing food kept wandering off and the paninis got burnt... This isnt the first time. I like Costa and I needed to eat something. Really time for a reorganisation and some training. On the plus side, nice setting with lovely view!

Like lots of travellers from Southampton airport I'm a business traveller and the thing I look forward to most is the Costa. However, the staff could be so much friendlier. Today a poor man went to pay and the lady assistant was rather accusatory when he accidentally gave her the wrong money and then when he gave her a £2 coin that he'd received in change from the airport shop beforehand she said they couldn't accept it. No wonder the poor man walked off, I don't blame him. Whatever happened to customer service?!!! Their coffees are great but the staff need to improve.

Came here for a quick hot chocolate. Staff were robotic and the lady who gave me my hot chocolate didn't utter a single word to me she just plonked it down on the counter and I said thank you and she just turned away and walked off to do something else without even acknowledging me. The staff here have zero customer service skills.

I admit I'm a Costa fan. Mine's a Cortado. I needed it to easy away the after-taste of the horrible greasy-burger I was rash enough to consume at"Mitchells" next door.

We have visited various Costa Coffees in the past & this has to be the worst in terms of impolite staff, two young girls not helpful at all. Didn't even bother with a greeting. These people should be trained properly before being let loose on the public.

I have never considered writing a review on a Costa Coffee branch. Why would you? It's a collosal global chain and they're all the same, yes?No!I travel from Newcastle to Southampton with Flybe, regularly. Sometimes 4-5 times a month. I do the same to London airports and I almost always pop in to the local Costa Coffee at the airport upon arrival before departing by taxi for my destinations.It is my trips to Eastleigh (Southampton) and experience of Costa Coffee that has prompted me to track down Costa Coffee on TripAdvisor and say something.The coffee is good.The food is good.The service is swift.The staff are courteous.The little bird that sometimes flies in is quite amusing to watch!But...PLEASE CLEAN THE TABLES MORE!I am sick and tired of having to move someone elses rubbish off a table when I've got my goods and go to sit down. Then, if someone has been good enough to remove their rubbish, why can't you get around the tables quicker and give them a rub down? They're always covered in crumbs and coffee spills!You've got everything right in Southampton and the staff seem pleasant, but you really do need to tell whoever is meant to clean tables that they need to speed their act up!

Roosters is basically a knock off Nando's with a similar meal - spicy chicken in pittas, burgers , chips , salads etc and a choice of salads. Branding is very like Nando's - food can be quite good - its not at Nando's level but its a bit cheaper although they don't have a loyalty scheme. Ordered a chicken burger and fry's and was served by an Indian chap who turned out to be the manager. Paid with a card, and the machine said approved Manager insisted that the machine , said there was an error and I had not been charged. After some arguing , and the manager being very rude and declaring that he knew how the machine worked. I paid again. Guess what a few days later I discovered I was charged twice. Called and was told to come back to shop as they count refund on the phone. Eventually gave up and came back to Roosters , where I was refunded. The arrogant manager made no attempt to apologise and was quite rude. No attempt to compensate me for lost fuel, time etc, I was also refunded in Cash , probably as the manager doesn't know how to use the credit card machine or is covering up his mistake. The food is OK , shame about the management. Next time its the real thing - Nando's for me. It works out cheaper with their loyalty scheme.

Oh my god the chips are proper chip shop chips and cooked to perfection so much better than chain takeaway chips. Ended up chatting to the Naz who was lovely and gave excellent customer service. So I give it 5* all round. Ill definitely be back. :-)

Can not do simple things right, such a shame. Been stitched up by this store so many times my rage has caused me to destroy my entire order and vow to never ever eat from any of your establishments again.

Went here as McDonald's was closed. Employees were extremely quiet couldn't hear what they were saying. Work surfaces were filthy. I could see the cross contamination happening right in front of me. Bacon wasn't cooked properly at all. Highly recommend that you avoid this outlet if you can
